Our Purpose: To provide Benton County youth with an active role in the decision making process through

• Developing goals and projects that positively impact youth
• Provide youth input into decisions by the Commission on Children and Families
• To create opportunities to develop and utilize leadership skills

Youth Commission Meetings

Youth Commission meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm in the Benton Plaza Downstairs Meeting Room September - June.

There are satellite Youth Commissions in Alsea and Monroe that meet twice a month during the school day in each of the high schools. Meeting dates and times vary depending on school schedule. These Youth Commissions are designed to address the needs in their particular communities.
