Voter Registration
To register or update your voter registration, a new voter registration form (PDF File, not hosted by Benton County) must be completed and filed. If you are only changing your address within Benton County, you do not need to fill out a Voter Registration Card. Just send us your updated address by mail or email.
Passports
Benton County Clerk's Office is designated as a passport application acceptance agent. Visit our passport page for more information and links to the U.S. Department of State Passport Services.
The Elections Office is located in the basement of the historic Benton County Courthouse located at 120 NW 4th Street, Room 13, Corvallis, Oregon 97330, as part of the Records and Elections Division. It is managed by Benton County Clerk James Morales and supervised by Jill Van Buren.

Elections office: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm; closed weekends and holidays.
Passport acceptance: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; closed weekends and holidays.

Voters, political parties, other government agencies, candidates, political action committees, media, researchers, and the general public rely on this office for information concerning elected officials, candidates, measures, issues, initiative, referendum and recall petitions, historic election records, the election process, and information on specific elections.
Benton County Elections is also responsible for voter registration, election filings, petition drives, campaign information, determination of political boundaries, issuing of ballots, and the publication of Voters' Pamphlets. Benton County Clerk's Office is also designated as a passport application acceptance agent.
