To be legally emancipated, a juvenile must be at least 16 years old and self-supporting. The juvenile must first contact the Juvenile Department and then file an application and a filing fee with the Court.

Benton County Veterans' Services helps veterans, their dependents, and their survivors apply for benefits from both the U.S. and the State of Oregon Departments of Veterans' Affairs (VA). We also act as advocates for those who apply. Services include helping applicants’ complete forms for medical benefits, disability pensions, education benefits, VA home loans, and help with claims appeals.
