Birth and Other Vital Records

You may obtain birth and death certificates through the Benton County Health Department, if the event occurred in Benton County within the last six (6) months.

If the birth or death occurred more than 6 months ago, and took place in Oregon, you will need to contact the Oregon Vital Records Office (link opens new window) in Portland at 971.673.1190 or fax 971.673.1201 or 1203. Credit card orders can be faxed to 503.234.8417.
