Benton County Community Wildfire Protection Plan
Purpose of the Plan
The purpose of the Community Wildfire Protection Plan is to promote awareness of the countywide wildland fire hazard and propose workable solutions to reduce the wildfire risk. A planning committee was established to address this issue, public meetings were conducted county-wide, and with valuable public input, the plan has been completed.
The Draft Community Wildfire Protection Plan was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 16, and is currently being implemented county-wide. View the Plan and the Appendices.
