Creating a Sustainable Community

Benton County cares about the environment that sustains us all. That’s why the county is engaging in a series of initiatives to serve residents and visitors every day by making Benton County a healthy and vibrant place to live.

These initiatives include making sure that Benton County is prepared for future growth with clean and abundant water and protecting endangered species habitat through the first countywide Habitat Conservation Plan in the state.

Benton County is a sustainability leader in Oregon and we’re proud of that. Sustainability is a core value that drives the way we do business.
