In Benton County there are five incorporated cities (Corvallis, Philomath, Monroe, Adair Village and a portion of Albany) and five officially designated unincorporated communities (Alsea, Wren, Alpine, Bellfountain and Greenberry).

Water Quality in Benton County

Water RunoffWater is a key element of any community and ecosystem. Benton County is extremely committed to protecting water quality through various initiatives designed to ensure we all can thrive in a healthy environment with a clean and plentiful water supply.

A Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) plan was developed by Benton County to improve water quality as it returns to the land and a Water Project designed to track the abundance and quality of water available in Benton County for drinking, irrigation and other vital community needs are just a couple of the initiatives Benton County has undertaken to protect water quality for its communities and ecosystems.
