Benton County Voters' Pamphlet for the May 21, 2013 Special Election will be delivered to every household starting May 2, 2013. The County Voters' Pamphlet is also available on our website. The publication and distribution of the County Voters' Pamphlet is provided by the County Clerk at the direction of the County Commissioners. The candidate and measure information within this publication was provided by candidates, special districts, and other interested parties that chose to participate in this portion of the election process. For a complete listing of all candidates and offices pertaining to this election, please go to the Candidates and Measures page.

The Elections and Passports Office will be closed on Monday May 27, 2013 in observance of Memorial Day.

Only City of North Albany and Palestine Rural Fire Protection District voters will receive ballots for this election.

The Benton County Clerk, James Morales, manages the division and the Elections office is supervised by Codi Trudell.

Office Hours

Elections office: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm; closed weekends and holidays.

Passport acceptance: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; closed weekends and holidays.

 

About Us

The Elections Office sets up, administers, and conducts, all Federal, State, County, City, and Special District elections held in Benton County. For types and contents of elections, see Elections Types, Schedules & Calendars.

Voters, political parties, other government agencies, candidates, political action committees, media, researchers, and the general public rely on this office for information concerning elected officials, candidates, measures, issues, initiative, referendum and recall petitions, historic election records, the election process, and information on specific elections.

Benton County Elections is also responsible for voter registration, election filings, petition drives, campaign information, determination of political boundaries, issuing of ballots, and the publication of Voters' Pamphlets.
