Benton County Environmental Health issues annual licenses to all restaurants operating throughout the County. To renew your license, payment is due no later than December 31st of each year.

To apply for a license to open a new eating facility in Benton County, you must first come by the Environmental Health Division Office, located at 530 NW 27th Street, Corvallis, to pick up a "Restaurant Plan Review Packet." Your packet can be dropped off at our office or mailed to our office (along with applicable fees). Please call 541-766-6841 with any questions.

To apply for a Mobile Unit license, please stop by our office to pick up the "Mobile Unit Plan Review" packet. Upon receiving the completed packet and fees the Environmental Health Specialist will inspect, and if approved will issue a license. Environmental Health Mobile Unit Licenses are categorized by "class" type. There are four different "class" types of Mobile Units. If you are planning to operate a Mobile Unit, please review the "Mobile Unit Guide" for more detailed information; and also Oregon Administrative Rule 333.162 OAR 333.
