Babies First!
A program to find, as early as possible, harmful health and growth outcomes in infants and young children found at risk. Health and growth screening occur at 4, 8, 12, 18, 24, 36, and 48 months of age and include:
- Observing growth (height, weight, and head circumference)
- Screening of motor skills, language, adaptive behavior, personal/social skills and reflexes
- Hearing, vision and dental screenings
- Referral for care when screening or assessment indicate
