     Communicable Disease Program

Our Communicable Disease Program tries to control the rate of  infectious (communicable) disease through investigations, immunizations, education, and treatment.

                  Services Provided

Services provided by the Communicable Disease Program include:

• Response to reportable diseases and conditions in the community by

investigating each report, providing information of treatment, and prevention of further spread of disease in the community.

• Investigation and follow-up of sexually transmitted infections, treatment, and notification of other exposed individuals.

• Immunization of infants, children, and routine adult immunizations.

• Preventative health and travel immunizations.
