Benton County offers flu clinics at the Health Department, at public sites, and to residents of some assisted living facilities, daycares, shelters, and other facilities.  Demand for seasonal flu vaccine was very strong, and our supply has been exhausted.  Unfortunately, no more is available from the manufacturers.

Tetanus

Most persons receive their primary tetanus vaccinations in childhood, after which a booster dose is recommended every ten years to maintain protection. Tetanus is usually combined with diphtheria for primary and booster dose vaccinations. Persons who suffer a major, dirty wound should also receive boosters if more than five years have elapsed since their last dose.
