The Benton Health Department Travel Clinic provides travelers with current travel vaccine recommendations and preventative health advice. This service is designed to provide clients with individualized information appropriate for their destination, travel risks, and anticipated activities.

 

Travelers' Vaccines

Vaccines available through this clinic include:

  • Yellow Fever
  • Typhoid (oral and injectable)
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Rabies
  • Tetanus-diphtheria and Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap)
  • Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
  • Polio
  • Japanese encephalitis
  • Varicella (chickenpox)
  • Meningococcal meningitis
 

Note on Malaria: Recommendations for the prevention of malaria and other insect-borne diseases are reviewed as needed. We provide a recommendation letter for clients to take to their private physician if prescriptions for antimalarial medications are indicated.

To receive travel services at the Health Department, call 541.766.6835 to make an office visit appointment.

When you come to your appointment, please bring:

  • All previous immunization records
  • Your travel destination and itinerary, if known
  • Information about medications you are taking or illnesses you have
