Benton County Juvenile Department – Services

The following services are provided by Benton County and the Juvenile Department.

Counseling Services

The Juvenile Department does not provide therapeutic counseling services for youth or their families.

Client Accountability

It is the policy of the Juvenile Court and Juvenile Department that juveniles be accountable for restitution for personal or property damages resulting from a law violation. (more)

Community Service/Work Crew

A youth may receive Community Service hours through Court ordered probation or by entering into a Formal Accountability Agreement with their Juvenile Court Counselor. (more)

Skill Building Groups

The Benton County Juvenile Department conducts ongoing skill building groups aimed at increasing practical life management skills. (more)

Youth Litter Patrol

The Youth Litter Patrol Program is a collaborative effort between the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Benton County Juvenile Department. (more)

Juvenile Drug Treatment Court

The purpose and the mission of the Benton County Juvenile Drug Treatment Court is to reduce substance abuse, reduce crime and strengthen families by offering opportunities for comprehensive, strength-based treatment services. (more)
