Option 4: The draft HCP is available for checkout from all Benton County Public Library Branches.  Limited numbers of paper copies and CDs are also available at the Benton County Natural Areas and Parks Office, at 360 SW Avery Avenue in Corvallis.

January 2009 Draft Benton County Prairie Species HCP and Public Comment

The first draft of the HCP was released on January 2, 2009, with solicitation for comment also beginning on that date. The 90-day comment period closed on April 2, 2009.   The HCP planning team gathered all public comments received throughout the comment period, and posted them here for your review.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Draft HCP

Three formal public meetings were held the last week of January in Wren, Corvallis, and Kings Valley to provide opportunities for education, discussion and comment on the plan. Please note that the verbal comments received at these three meetings were recorded on flip charts and are included in this posting.
