Bicycle Advisory Committee
The Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meets to advise and assist the Benton County Board of Commissioners on public works issues regarding bicycle transportation.
Mission of the Bicycle Advisory Committee
The Committee shall become familiar with the operations, standards, finance needs and laws associated with the Master Bike Path Plan management of the county. The Committee shall provide advisory recommendations to the Board of Commissioners (Governing Body) as may be requested by the Board.
The Committee shall assist and advise the Benton County Public Works Director concerning
a) Long range planning of future bike paths
b) Education/safety issues
c) Policies
d) Public relations
