Roads Advisory Committee
The Roads Advisory Committee (RAC) meets to advise and assist the Benton County Board of Commissioners on the county road system.
Roads Advisory Committee Mission
The Committee shall become familiar with the operations, standards, financing needs and laws associated with the management of the County road system. The Committee shall provide advisory recommendations to the Board of Commissioners (Governing Body) as may be requested by the Board.
The Committee shall assist and advise the Benton County Public Works Director concerning:
a) Road operating policy
b) Potential projects for investigation
c) Road Capital Improvements and Renovation Plans
d) Overall department budget and funding
