Benton County Roads – No-Spray Program

Benton County Road Division No-Spray Program

Every April, the Benton County Public Works Department begins its Annual Roadside Shoulder Spraying Program to control weeds along county roads (weather permitting). Spraying of noxious weeds and roadside vegetation is done throughout the year.

If you elect to enter into an annual "No-Spray Agreement" with the county, a new agreement must be submitted each year. The No-Spray Agreement (PDF) must be received by March 25th and your property will then be added to the No-Spray Program.  No-Spray Signs must be posted by March 25th. See the sign placement diagram example (PDF). You may notify us by phone at 541-766-6821 if you no longer wish to participate.

Return the completed agreement via mail to the following address:

Benton County Public Works
360 SW Avery Ave.
Corvallis, OR 97333-1192

If you are interested in a modified spray program; (for example: spraying for noxious weeds but not roadside grasses) please call our office at 541-766-6821.

Please review the informational sheet listing some of the most common noxious weeds within the county (noxious weed list). Your assistance in managing noxious weeds is an important role towards environmental stewardship.
