The Civil Division receives legal documents that need served throughout Benton County. The Civil Division reviews the legal documents to ensure they have all required legal elements present (court seal, judge’s signature, required format, etc.). After the review process, the legal documents are processed to go out for service with the Patrol Division. Examples of court documents received for service are: Summons and Complaints, Summons and Petitions, Restraining Orders, Stalking Orders, Small Claims, Subpoenas, and a myriad of other types of court documents.
