Welcome to the Benton County Community Corrections web page! We hope you'll find your visit informative and interesting. If you're not familiar with the local geography, Benton County is located in the heart of western Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley. With nearly 80,000 residents, Benton County is 10th largest of Oregon's 36 counties. It is also home of the City of Corvallis (population 50,000) and Oregon State University.
Benton County Parole and Probation is a part of the Sheriff's Office Corrections Division. With a small jail and low state prison commitment rate, we have proudly established a national reputation for developing highly innovative and cost-effective alternative-to-incarceration programs that really work. Our corrections work crew program received an award for innovation from the National Association of Counties.
