Sheriff's Office – Concealed Handgun Permits
Concealed Handgun Permits
Citizens are required by law to have a permit to carry concealed handguns. These permits are issued by the sheriff's office of the county in which the person carrying the handgun resides. Citizens must apply for concealed handgun permits and renewals.
We process concealed handgun permits on the following days and times:

• Tuesdays between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm

• Thursdays between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm
Cost for permits is $65.00 for original licenses and $50.00 for renewals.
The first step in the process is to obtain a permit packet, which can be obtained from Sheriff's Office records or by downloading the PDF forms above.
After completely filling out the packet, the person requesting the concealed handgun permit must come to the records office in person during processing times to have a photo taken.
