| 3/8/2010 8:06:19PM 2100 block NW NORTH ALBANY RD ALBANY HARASSMENT and CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - 2ND DEGREE On Monday, March 8, 2010, at 8:05 p.m., Deputies were and I were dispatched to 2100 block NW North Albany Road concerning a domestic dispute that had been physical. Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with victim who reported his stepson (14 years old) pushed him against the wall causing damage to the sheetrock and paint. Deputies cited and released the 14 year old for Harassment and Criminal Mischief II. |
| 3/7/2010 5:26:37PM 26000 block CECIL LN ALSEA TRAFFIC COMPLAINT On March 7, 2010 at about 8:00 PM, Complainant reported that a gold car and a blue van were speeding up and down CECIL Lane and they were parked at that address. Deputies spoke to a female at that address and she stated the cars belonged to friends that were from out of town and that they had left already. |
| 3/7/2010 1:17:47PM 23000 block DECKER RD PHILOMATH DISTURBANCE On Sunday, March 07, 2010, I responded to 23000 block Decker Road for a report of a disturbance and shots being fired. Deputies arrived to the residence and spoke with a male in the front yard. The male told deputies there was no disturbance at the residence and allowed me into his home. All the individuals at the residence told deputies that there had been no argument. They said they had been shooting in the back yard because they live in Portland and can not shoot at home. They all told me they had been shooting in a safe direction. |
| 3/7/2010 12:04:48AM 34000 block IRIS CR PHILOMATH DOG AT LARGE On March 7, 2010 at about 12:31 AM, I was dispatched to 34000 block Iris Circle for a dog at large complaint. Complainant stated that one of his neighbor’s two dogs attacked their pet Pomeranian and sent it to the hospital. Deputies spoke to the neighbor and the two reached a civil compromise. |

| 3/6/2010 10:24:10PM 26000 block COON RD MONROE ATTEMPTED ASSAULT 1ST DEGREE, MENACING – DOMESTIC and UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON On March 6, 2010 at approximately 10:25 PM, Deputies were dispatched to a reported physical domestic at 26000 block Coon Road. Complainant told dispatch she witnessed her son’s girlfriend trying to stab him with a knife. Complainant said his ex-fiancé, MONIQUE BISHOP (18 yoa) was upset and tried to slash his vehicle tires, then attempted to stab him. BISHOP was located in Albany and arrested for Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Menacing, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. |
| 3/6/2010 4:42:00PM 26000 block CHERRY CREEK RD MONROE DUII, RECKLESS DRIVING, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - 2ND DEGREE and ACCIDENT INJURY On Saturday, March 6, 2010, at about 4:45 pm, Deputies were dispatched to an injury motor vehicle crash near 26000 block Cherry Creek Road. Jose Martinez-Aguilar (22 yoa) crashed his car into a fence and power pole. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. After being treated and released, Deputies transported him to the Benton County Jail, where deputies issued him citations for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Alcohol, Reckless Driving, and Criminal Mischief II. |
| 3/6/2010 2:25:24PM COON RD AND KYLE RD MONROE ACCIDENT FATAL On Saturday, March 6, 2010, at about 2:27 P.M., Deputies were dispatched to a Motorcycle accident at the intersection of Kyle Road and Coon Road, Monroe. Paramedics arrived first and later notified the deputies that the driver, RILEY WEST (61 yoa) was pronounced dead on scene. Deputies arrived and found WEST near the south side ditch of the intersection and a motorcycle in the ditch. It appeared that WEST drove straight at the intersection instead of turning left at Coon Road. |

| 3/6/2010 3:22:04AM 300 block SE LILLY AVE CORVALLIS FIGHT On March 6, 2010, at about 3:21 AM, Deputies responded to 300 block Southeast Lilly Avenue of Corvallis for a fight. Upon arrival Deputies contacted two females (22 yoa and 23 yoa). Both were extremely intoxicated and told the Deputy there was no fight. The two females said they were “RAPPING GANGSTER STYLE” in the middle of the road. |

| 3/5/2010 9:21:20PM 23000 block Alpine Road FAMILY DISTURBANCE On March 5, 2010 Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at 23000 block Alpine Rd, Monroe, OR. When we arrived we spoke to two brothers (44 yoa and 45 yoa.) One of the brothers said his brother had been bullying and cussing at their mother. The two brothers got into an argument over this disrespectful behavior. Deputies encouraged the brothers to separate themselves when these arguments start. |
| 3/5/2010 2:19:45PM 365 N 5TH ST MONROE HIGH SCHOOL MONROE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE On Friday, March 5, 2010 at about 2:20 pm, Deputies stopped a Suzuki Samurai in the parking lot of Monroe High School, 365 N 5th Street, for an unsignaled turn. Deputies issued a warning to the driver. Deputies arrested the passenger, Cody Larson (20 yoa) on a misdemeanor warrant out of Linn County for Contempt of Court and for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. |
| 3/5/2010 3:43:30AM HIGHWAY 34 AND PEORIA RD CORVALLIS MISSING PERSON and UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE On March 5, 2010, at about 3:40 AM, Deputies stopped DANNY KLEIVEN (52 yoa) for a traffic violation. KLEIVEN reported his friend KEVIN HUTSON (54 yoa) was missing in the woods and thought he was deceased. HUTSON was located unharmed about 1:00 PM, at the Burnt Woods Store. Both were arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |

Complainant said he was in the crosswalk when this happened. |

| 3/4/2010 4:42:42PM 39000 block LUCKIAMUTE RD PHILOMATH TWO DOGS AT LARGE On March 3, 2010, at about 4:40 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to 39000 block Luckiamute Road concerning a neighborhood dispute concerning dogs at large. The dog owner’s brown pit-bull boxer mix named Yoda, and his black Australian Sheppard mix named Ninja chased the other neighbor’s cat onto his property. Both dogs barked and acted aggressively towards the cat owner. Deputies warned the dog owner about the dogs at large and told him they could be shot if it happened again. Deputies told the dog owner he would be cited in the future if the dogs are at large. |

The warning was for letting her dogs run at large. The dogs were not licensed so a deadline was set to get that completed. |

| 3/1/2010 8:36:59AM 25398 DAWSON RD BELLFOUNTAIN SCHOOL HIT AND RUN On Monday, March 1, 2010, Complainant her son drove her car to play basketball the night before to the Bellfountain School. When he son left the school he did not notice any damage to the vehicle because it was dark and drove home. The next day the damage was discovered to the front right light and hood of the vehicle. It appeared that the vehicle had been hit by a truck or taller vehicle. |
| 3/1/2010 5:07:06PM 23000 block HIGHWAY 20 PHILOMATH DISORDERLY CONDUCT On Monday, March 1, 2010, at about 5:00 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near milepost 47 concerning a male walking on the roadway and being a traffic hazard. While en route dispatch advised the suspect contacted another complainant. The complainant reported the male was possibly broke down, and used her telephone to get a ride. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect, until about an hour later on Highway 20 near Priest Road. Deputies contacted the male. The male went back and forth from cooperative to uncooperative. The male calmed down long enough for me to give him a ride to his truck where his brother brought gas. |

Deputies spoke with the teacher who told deputies she did kick him, but did not think it was much more than a nudge with her foot. |
| 3/1/2010 6:18:25PM 4455 NE HIGHWAY 20 CORVALLIS NON-INJURY, SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH On Monday, March 01, 2010 at approximately 6:15 PM, Unit #1, driven by KAREN FREEMAN (56 yoa), was traveling west on Highway 20 towards Corvallis. FREEMAN stopped on the side of the road, just west of Steele Avenue, to receive a phone call. FREEMAN attempted to back up her vehicle into a parking lot on the west side of the road, entering the ditch and high-centering Unit #1. Unit #1 was towed back onto Highway 20 and driven away by FREEMAN. There were no injuries reported. |

Complainant reported he drops off the papers in the mornings, and saw on Sunday at 3:00 A.M., the machine was not damaged. Complainant said on Monday at approximately 3:00 A.M. the machine was damaged, and there was approximately 12 dollars in change missing, based on the amount of newspapers left. | 3/1/2010 4:12:48PM 7295 NE ARNOLD AV ADAIR COUNTY PARK ADAIR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - 2ND DEGREE and TRESPASS II On Monday, March 01, 2010 at approximately 4:15 PM, Complainant reported a vehicle drove across and baseball diamond, leaving ruts in the grass and mud causing approximately $250 worth of damage at the Adair County Park. |
| 2/28/2010 12:06:37AM 200 block E ALDER ST ALSEA MENACING – DOMESTIC On Sunday, February 28, 2010 at about 12:06 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to 200 block East Alder Street, Alsea to an unknown disturbance involving weapons. Deputies located a male who could translate. The translator indicated a male named SANTOS RAMIEREZ MATIAS (25 yoa) threatened to hit and kill his girlfriend. The victim indicated she was so scared she ran out of the room, into another room and jumped out of the second story window. Deputies spoke to another male inside the house who indicated MATIAS was intoxicated and kicked the door to a bedroom when the victim ran out of the room into the other room and jumped out of the window to leave the area. SANTOS RAMIEREZ MATIAS was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged for Menacing. |
| 2/28/2010 5:29:07PM 300 block S 5TH ST MONROE ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE – DOMESTIC, STRANGULATION and HARASSMENT Deputies were dispatched to 300 block South 5th Street, Monroe, for a possible physical domestic disturbance. Deputies spoke with the victim who told deputies that her husband, ROBERT CRABTREE (49 yoa) became very angry when he had chest pains and she told him she was going to call 911. ROBERT CRABTREE strangled the victim and slapped both sides of her face multiple times. When she tried to get away the victim was pushed back into a chair. Deputies arrested ROBERT CRABTREE for Assault IV-Domestic, Strangulation, and Harassment. |

| 2/28/2010 9:06:33AM HIGHWAY 99W AND MP 73 MONMOUTH DOG LOOSE ON HIGHWAY On Sunday, February 28, 2010 at about 9:05 am, a Deputy was driving northbound on Highway 99W near milepost 73. A female Beagle puppy was running loose on the west side of the highway and then walked out into the middle of the highway. The Deputy placed the puppy into the back of my patrol car while trying to locate the owner. The name on the collar matched the registration of a pickup parked along the east side the highway next to the E. E. Wilson Wildlife Refuge. Dispatch was able to contact one of the registered owners by telephone who requested the puppy be placed back in the crate in the bed of the pickup. At about 11:00 am, the Deputy spoke with the owner of the beagle who said he just got the puppy a week ago and brought her out today to go hunting. After the first gunshot, the puppy became scared and ran off. He had been looking for her ever since. |
