| 8/31/2010 10:17:28AM 19400 block SUMMIT HWY SUMMIT 11 CATS TRANSPORTED TO HEARTLAND August 31, 2010, The Animal Control Deputy transported 11 semi-feral cats from a home near the 19400 block of Summit Highway in Blodgett to the Heartland Humane Society, where they were impounded. The home owner had been feeding one abandoned cat, which quickly multiplied into many more homeless cats. |

| 8/30/2010 11:29:51PM NW HIGHWAY 20 AND MP 8 ALBANY NON INJURY CRASH On August 30, 2010 at about 11:30 PM, Deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near mile post 8 for a non injury traffic crash. Deputies arrived and spoke to the driver, JEREMY LI-WEN CHEN (26 yoa) who told me he swerved to miss a raccoon. There was no visible damage to CHEN'S vehicle. |

| 8/30/2010 8:51:25AM 4900 block SW NASH AV CORVALLIS CRIMINAL TRESPASS - 2ND DEGREE On Monday, August 30, 2010 at about 8:50 am, Complainant reported a 2005-2007 Toyota Corolla drove 800 feet down his driveway, past several “No Trespassing” signs. He said the people stopped to smoke, removed two fog lamp covers (which they left behind), and then left. He does not know who these people are and wants their activity documented should they return. |

| 8/28/2010 7:44:21PM 600 block KELLY ST MONROE VERBAL ARGUMENT On August 28, 2010 Deputies were dispatched to the 600 block Kelly Street in Monroe for an argument. Deputies spoke with two sisters into a verbal argument about nothing in particular. There was no crime. The two sisters said they would both go back to their respective apartments until they calmed down. |
| 8/28/2010 10:55:08PM 1150 MAIN ST MEETING PLACE PHILOMATH DISORDERLY CONDUCT II, NTERFERING WITH PEACE OFFICER and CRIMINAL TRESPASS - 2ND DEGREE On August 28, 2010, at about 10:53 PM, Deputies responded to the Meeting Place, 1150 Main Street in Philomath to assist Philomath Police Department with a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, Philomath Police had TYLER GAUGHAN (27 yoa) in custody for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. SHANNON HUBBARD (34 yoa) interfered with the investigation and was told to leave, but refused. Deputies arrested HUBBARD for Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with Police, and Criminal Trespass II. GAUGHAN and HUBBARD were transported to and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |

| 8/28/2010 11:20:06PM 1800 block COLLEGE ST PHILOMATH ASSAULTING A PUBLIC SAFTY OFFICER, HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT II, RESISTING ARREST, INTERFERING WITH PEACE OFFICER and CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE - UNDER $100 On Saturday, August 28, 2010, at about 11:17 P.M., Deputies were dispatched to 1800 block College Street, Philomath for a Disturbance. Deputies later arrested HECTOR NUNEZ (27 yoa) after he squeezed an entire bottle of water onto a Deputy’s face and eyes and approached the Deputy to fight. HECTOR had previously been fighting with his family, pushing them and yelling at them. HECTOR was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was charged with Attempted Assault on a Public Safety Officer X2, Harassment X2, Disorderly Conduct II, Resisting Arrest X2, Interfering with a Peace Officer X2, and Criminal Mischief III. |

| 8/27/2010 11:05:15PM WELLS CREEK RD AND HIGHWAY 34 PHILOMATH ENDANGER WELFARE OF MINOR-DRUGS, PURCHASE OR POSSESSION OF LIQUOR BY MINOR, ENDANGER WELFARE OF MINOR-DRUGS, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA On August 27th, 2010, Deputies arrested ASHLEY REGALADO (18 yoa) and a 17 year old male for Endangering the welfare of a minor (Numerous counts) and other charges after they tried to avoid us and then conceal themselves from us on Wells Creek Road near Highway 34. They were smoking marijuana in the car while driving from Dallas to Alsea with a 12 year old female, and two 14 year old females in the vehicle with them. The 17 year old juvenile was also arrested for Driving Under the influence of Intoxicants for his marijuana impairment while driving. |
| 8/27/2010 4:25:50PM 25000 block COON RD MONROE DOG BITE On Friday, August 27, 2010 at about 4:25 pm, Complainant reported she reading the power meter at 25000 block Coon Road when she was bit, twice, on her left calf, by a yellow lab mix residing at the property. Deputies later spoke with the dog owner who showed me paperwork for her 13 year old, female, yellow lab mix, with a current rabies vaccination. |
| 8/27/2010 1:22:16PM 24000 block COLUMBINE DR PHILOMATH DOG AT LARGE On Friday, August 27, 2010 at about 1:20 P.M. Complainant who stated he witnessed two white pitbulls chasing and biting some llamas in a field. Complainant told the Deputies he tried to capture the dogs but they showed their teeth at him and ran away. The owner of the llamas arrived and Deputies told him to check his llamas for injuries. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the pitbulls. |
| 8/27/2010 8:05:04AM SHOTPOUCH RD MP 4 BLODGETT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY On August 27, 2010, Complainant she and her husband had been hearing chainsaws running, starting around 4:00AM, up the hill from their house on Shotpouch Rd. Deputies explained to complainant due to fire season regulations, logging operations have to stop by 1:00PM and many logging companies are starting work early. Complainant said she did not hear the other usual logging noises; it was just chainsaws. Deputies told complainant they would attempt to check with the logging company to see if they have experienced any unauthorized cutting on or near their job site. |
| 8/25/2010 11:26:16PM 2300 block NW CHINOOK DR CORVALLIS DISTRUBANCE On August 25, 2010, Complainant reported the sound of explosions going off outside the area. Deputies checked the area and were not able to find any damage to property or find any evidence of an explosion. The Complainant followed a vehicle leaving the area. Corvallis Police contacted the driver of the vehicle at NW Kings and NW Kings Place. The male admitted lighting off several M-80 fireworks near his house on NW Chinook Drive. The male was warned about causing alarm by lighting off fireworks in residential areas. |
| 8/25/2010 6:17:00PM HIGHWAY 99W AND MP 100 MONROE DUII and RECKLESS DRIVING On August 25, 2010 at about 6:17 PM, Deputies were dispatched to Monroe for an attempt to locate on a possible intoxicated driver. The Deputies later located the driver of the vehicle, JOHN PLAUTZ (52 yoa) at an Alcoholic's Anonymous meeting at United Methodist Church located at 648 Orchard Street in Monroe. Deputies contacted PLAUTZ and subsequently arrested him for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. |
| 8/25/2010 3:49:23PM NE HIGHWAY 99W AND MP 77 CORVALLIS DUII and DWS MISDEMEANOR On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at about 3:49 pm, Deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near milepost 77 for a single vehicle injury crash. The driver and only occupant, Regis Ruschell (51 yoa), was intoxicated and suspended misdemeanor. He drove off the road into the ditch and struck a tree head on. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Deputies cited RUSCHELL for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Driving While Suspended- Misdemeanor, Open Container of Alcohol in Vehicle (x2), and Driving Uninsured. |
| 8/25/2010 3:45:39PM NW CHAPARRAL DR AND NW WYNOOCHEE DR CORVALLIS SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY On Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 at about 3:45 PM, Complainant reported a group of people had a camp fire near his house. Complainant said he heard their voices but did not see or know who they were. Complainant said he went to the area and found a fire ring with burnt wood inside. Complainant was concerned about people having a fire there due to the high fire danger. |
| 8/24/2010 1:55:25PM HIGHWAY 34 AND PEORIA RD CORVALLIS WARRANT ARREST On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at about 2:00 P.M., Deputies arrested ERIC OLSON (33 yoa) for two confirmed FTA-Disorderly Conduct out of Linn County Circuit Court and FTA-Marijuana Possession Albany Municipal Court. |
| 8/24/2010 2:29:31PM SW 53RD ST AND SW WEST HILLS RD CORVALLIS CRIMINAL TRESPASS - 2ND DEGREE On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, Deputies responded to the wooded area near SW 53rd Street and SW West Hills Road. The property owner requested deputies tell the transients living in the area that they are trespassing and would be arrested if they do not leave within forty-eight hours. |
| 8/24/2010 11:02:12AM 7400 block AVALON DR CORVALLIS TWO DOGS AT LARGE-WARNING August 24, 2010, The Animal Control Deputy gave a warning to a dog owner living on Avalon Drive in Corvallis. The warning was for allowing her two dogs to run at large. The dogs were not licensed so a deadline was set to get that completed. |

| 8/24/2010 1:39:48AM 600 block MAIN ST MONROE VERBAL DISPUTE On August 24, 2010, at about 1:38 AM, Deputies were dispatched to 600 block Main Street in Monroe for a Dispute. Two individuals got into a verbal argument and during the argument one of the individuals threw a water bottle at the front window of the residence causing the window to break. The individual agreed to leave for the evening to prevent further problems. |
| 8/23/2010 11:35:47AM 600 block ORCHARD ST MONROE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE – INCONVENIENCE On Monday, August 23, 2010 at about 11:15 am, Complainants reported said two 12 year old juveniles urinated all over the inside of the port-a-potty located at the Monroe Sharing Garden. Deputies spoke with the two juveniles and warned them to not use the port-a-potty or return to the area of the sharing gardens without first gaining permission from the owners of the sharing garden. |
| 8/23/2010 3:05:28PM 28000 block TAMPICO RD CORVALLIS DECEASED DOG August 23, 2010, The Animal Control Deputy was dispatched to the area near 28000 block Tampico Road for a deceased dog down in the ravine. With the help of two teenagers, they pulled the dog up from under the bridge. The Animal Control Deputy transported an intact male 80# German Shepherd dog to the Heartland Humane Society. The dog was approximately 3 years old, in good body condition with no visible injuries. The dog had a black harness on. He was not micro-chipped nor did he have I. D. |

| 8/23/2010 11:46:52AM NE HIGHWAY 20 AND NE GRANGER AVE CORVALLIS ATL TRACTOR TRAILER On 8/23/10 at 11:35 AM, Deputies located a black Peterbuilt t 2nd and Harrison traveling south. The tractor trailer had been reported driving fast and not passing safely. Deputies stopped the vehicle at 4th and VanBuren. The driver reported that he did pass a car but was not speeding. |

Upon arrival Deputies spoke to SCOTT DIXON 41 (yoa) who indicated he was allowing his children drive a 1999 Honda Civic. SCOTT was warned not to allow his children to drive any vehicle until they have a license. |

| 8/22/2010 2:54:45PM 24000 block HIGHWAY 20 PHILOMATH On Sunday, August 22, 2010, A Deputy was driving on Highway 20 near Wren Hill and saw a small orange and white dog run from a driveway and onto the Highway. The Deputy stopped and attempted to catch the dog but it continued to run away onto the Highway. The dog was nearly hit about 20 times causing vehicles to slam on their brakes almost crashing themselves. The Deputy later caught he dog and returned it to the owner who lives at 24000 block Highway 20. The Deputy told the owner to keep her dog contained so this would not happen again. |

| 8/22/2010 12:27:26PM 5500 SW PHILOMATH BV ELIM MARKET CORVALLIS ACCIDENT INJURY On Sunday, August 22, 2010, Unit 1 was stopped waiting to make a left turn from Philomath Boulevard into the Tri-Valley Market. Unit 1 was facing west and had its left turn signal on. Unit 2 was driving west on Philomath Boulevard and did not see the stopped vehicle. Unit 2 rear ended Unit 1 causing damage to both vehicles. Both parties agreed that this was accurate. |

VALERIE PHILLIPS SELVY (45 yoa) was arrested for Using Invalid Drivers License, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Burglars Tools. THOMAS KEAS (39 yoa) was arrested for Possession of Burglars Tools. |
| 8/22/2010 12:35:28AM SW LEONARD ST AND SW TUNISON AV CORVALLIS DUII and RECKLESS DRIVING On August 22, 2010 at about 12:56 A.M., Deputies arrested LUIS TENANGO-TENDERO (19 yoa) for Driving under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. TENANGO-TENDERO was issued citations for No Operators License, Driving Uninsured and Failing to stop when entering a roadway. |
