If a voter moves within the county, their voter registration can be updated through information the County receives from the U.S. Postal Service.


Benton County Emergency Management Council

Mission

The BCEMC Mission is to save lives, reduce property loss, protect the environment, and lessen social and economic disruption in a safer and more hazard resilient community.

This is accomplished through:

  • Determining hazards, vulnerabilities and risks;
  • Increasing public awareness of hazard risks;
  • Focusing awareness, education, and training regarding mitigation and preparedness options;
  • Involving all segments of the community in disaster education, mitigation, and preparedness;
  • Seeking creative funding strategies which leverage available resources
  • Enhancing emergency response and recovery capabilities; and
  • Implementing aggressive mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate risk.
