Get a Closer Look at the Sheriff's Office

Interested in getting a first-hand look at what the Sheriff’s Office does?

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office offers the opportunity for citizens to observe Deputies in action through its Citizen Observation program. Interested individuals may apply to observe a Patrol Deputy, Parole and Probation Officer or Corrections Deputy as they do their jobs.

Limited to one observation per year, approval to participate in the program and assignment of Deputy is based on operational considerations and the reason expressed by the applicant to participate.

To apply for the program complete the Citizen Observation Application (PDF) or the Citizen Observation Application (fillable DOC file) and return it to the Sheriff’s Office at 180 NW 5th Street, Corvallis, OR 97330.
