Springhill Drive Overlay work begins week of June 24

Wednesday, June 19, 2019

Update 7/8/2019: Due to rain, this paving project is now tentatively scheduled to begin Saturday, 7/13/2019. It is still estimated to be completed by the end of the month.

Starting next week, work will occur on Springhill Drive from Highway 20 to Scenic Drive.

On Monday, June 24, 2019, work will begin with the ADA ramps at Hickory Street and North Pointe Drive. Work will cease on July 3rd to accommodate holiday travelers over the long weekend.  Grinding and paving will begin the following week on July 8, 2019. The rural sections of Springhill Drive will receive a centerline rumble strip treatment to assist mitigating the frequency of head-on collisions and road departure crashes.

Additionally Benton County plans to be in the same area chip sealing Nebergall Loop and Picadilly Circle on July 12, 2019.

All dates are approximate and weather dependent. Travelers should expect delays, especially if they live on or are visiting a residence located on the dead end roads that receive access off of Springhill Drive.

All work is scheduled to be complete by the end of July, potentially with the exception of striping.
