Vaccination clinics at Reser Stadium April 21-23

Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Benton County and Samaritan Health Services are partnering to host another round of mass COVID-19 vaccinations at Reser Stadium on the Oregon State University campus Wednesday, April 21 through Friday, April 23.

All Oregonians 16 years and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccinations are by appointment only for all eligible individuals. A social security number is not required to schedule an appointment. If you prefer to not provide or do not have this information, you may leave it blank. Insurance information is also requested; but it is not required to receive a vaccine and those fields may be left blank as well. The vaccine is free to patients and if you have insurance, it will be billed a small administration fee. If you do not have insurance, there will be no fee for receiving your vaccine.

The clinic schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
    •  Second doses of Pfizer
  • Thursday, April 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    • First doses of Pfizer
  • Friday, April 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    • First and second doses of Pfizer and Moderna

Surplus dose process for Reser Clinics

If individuals do not arrive for their scheduled appointment, Benton County and Samaritan Health Services work together to ensure that there are no left over doses of vaccine at the end of each clinic. Eligible individuals are invited to come to Reser Stadium approximately 30 minutes before the end of each clinic to form a standby line for potential surplus vaccine doses. The clinic tracks the number of people who have not arrived for their scheduled appointment and the standby line will be used to schedule same-day appointments. Priority for surplus doses is given to individuals who are 16+ in the standby line.

A text message alert system, Dr. B, will be utilized once all individuals in the standby line have received the vaccine. For community members interested in signing up for this tool, you must have a phone that can receive text messages, and you sign up through the Dr. B website at For more information about the surplus dose process visit
