County Buildings and Services
Effective Monday, January 3, Benton County's lobbies will be open to the public.
These service adjustments are made in response to improving health metrics across the state, and come a few weeks after the Board of Commissioners lifted the County's outdoor mask requirement. The Board of Commissioners and our Public Health Officials continue to closely monitor and discuss health metrics, and are confident in their decision to reopen County lobbies and entrances to the public. The community can expect enhanced safety COVID-19 safety measures at County facilities to remain in effect.
These safety measures include:
- Physical and plexiglass barriers at public service counters.
- As needed, markers indicating 6 ft of distance at public service counters to prevent crowding in indoor spaces.
- Additionally, the County will continue to regularly clean high touch surfaces.
