Indoor Spaces

Effective August 13, 2021, Governor Brown and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) issued OAR 333-019-1025, “Masking Requirements for Indoor Spaces” requiring masks or personal face coverings to be worn by all individuals over the age of five in indoor public settings. In response, Oregon OSHA revised provisions of OAR 437-001-0744(3)(b) to require employers whose employees work in such spaces to implement the requirements of the OHA rule. 

Reporting noncompliance with the state or local indoor masking requirements

If you are an employee, or a concerned customer, in Oregon and want to report a business or organization for noncompliance with the OHA or Benton County indoor masking requirements please fill out the Oregon OSHA online form or contact the field office at 541-686-7562.

Outdoor Spaces

Effective August 27, 2021 the Governor Brown directed the Oregon Health Authority to issue a rule requiring the use of masks or personal face coverings when in public outdoor settings, including large outdoor events, where physical distancing is not possible.. This rule applies to all people 5 years or older, regardless of vaccination status. This rule aligns with the exceptions outlined for mask use indoors.
