Phase 1: Document Current Justice System Conditions

January 2018 - April 2018

  • Stakeholder interviews

  • Describe and project population and classification groups

  • Apply trends and industry standards

Assessment Findings Report-Out & Community Meeting
  • Save the date for Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Benton County Historical Museum, 101 Main St, Philomath, OR 97370. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the program is anticipated to begin at 6:30pm.

Phase 3: Develop Solutions

June 2018 - September 2018

  • Document issues
  • Document alternatives to address needs
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Information system requirements
Public input opportunity
  • Topical workshops to allow for a deeper dive into topics of particular interest to community members. Topics to be informed by kickoff meeting comments and CGL initial findings, e.g., mental health workshop, women populations in jail, etc. Tentatively planned for Summer 2018. Date/venue TBD.

Phase 4: Develop and Finalize Report

September 2018 - December 2018

  • Draft report presented to public
  • Prepare a prioritized and phased implementation schedule
  • Prepare a final document
  • Final report presented to County
