Routine passport service is now taking up to 6 weeks and expedited service is taking 3 weeks.  If you’re thinking of an international winter getaway, there is no better time to apply for your passport!

The Benton County Clerk’s Office is an Official Passport Acceptance Facility. The office is authorized to accept and verify your documents and identity for passport applications. This is a required step for new adult passport applications, child (minor) passport applications, and lost, stolen or damaged passport applications. The County Clerk’s Office can also take your passport photo on-site.

U.S. citizens who wish to obtain a passport may apply Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Benton County Elections and Passports Office, 120 NW 4th Street Room 13, Corvallis, Oregon 97330 (the basement of the historic Benton County Courthouse).

Passport forms, fees, and information on how to apply can be found online at www.co.benton.or.us/elections/page/passports and www.travel.state.gov.
