About Us

The Finance and Tax Department is responsible for safeguarding the County's resources and for establishing and maintaining uniform and effective accounting systems. The Finance and Tax Department provides centralized accounting including general ledger, payroll, receipting and accounts payable. It performs the functions of the County Treasurer and the County Property Tax Collector as required under Oregon State Law.

The Department develops and monitors internal controls used to protect county assets and provides risk management services by securing liability and property insurance for the County.
