HOPE Policy Recommendation #8 - Reduce Barriers
Explore and investigate the need and the barriers to accessing housing for individuals and their families in our community whose past history has impacted their ability to secure housing.
Work with service providers to gather more data on and explore solutions for individuals with difficult histories who are disqualified from housing and support services.

- City of Corvallis offers a Rental Housing 101 course to educate local landlords about discrimination laws and help ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
June 2021 - June 2022
- City of Corvallis and Benton County coordinated homelessness response team is working to identify ways to convene nonprofit partners for coordinated case management services for high needs individuals.
