Unemployment Rates

Based on Oregon Employment Department data the 2011 unemployment rate for Benton County (6.5%) is lower than the Oregon (9.5%) and United States (9.1%) rates. Unemployment rates reached a peak in 2009 and have slowly declined into 2011.
