Based on U.S. Census data the median household income during 2007-2009 for both Benton County ($49,282) and Oregon ($49,325) were slightly lower than the median household income for the United States ($51,369). The median family income for Benton County ($69,636) was higher than Oregon ($60,350) and the United States ($62,367). The per capita income for Benton County ($25,878) and Oregon ($25,874) are nearly equal to one another, but slightly less than the United States ($27,100).
