How to Ride!

Step 1. Apply for Eligibility!

In order to be eligible for Special Transportation Services provided by the County, applicants must be eligible for service. To apply for program eligibility, please use the form at the bottom of this page (STF Ridership Application) and return it to the Transportation Coordinator at Benton County, at:

Step 2. Request a Ride!

Service Requests are made by calling Benton County at 541-752-2615 (voice and local TDD/TTY Calls) during business hours between 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

You may request a ride 1 – 7 days in advance. Requests for Saturday and Sunday rides must be made between Monday and Friday. Rides are provided first-come, first-served, on a reservation, shared-ride basis.  Exact addresses, appointment times and pick up times are needed to make a reservation.

ADA service hours within Corvallis and Philomath city limits are available for ADA-certified riders. Contact Corvallis Transit System for more information.

Please Note: Due to the limited capacity of the service, not all rides that are requested can be provided. Some non-standard-sized mobility devices may not be able to be accommodated.

If you need wheelchair accommodations or will be accompanied by an attendant or companion, please notify us when reserving your ride. A home visit is available to help you learn more about the program. We will help you set up your first appointment, answer any questions you may have about your ride and make sure you are comfortable using our service to get around town.
