BAT Lift & Accessibility

What is BAT Lift?
Benton Area Transit (BAT) provides wheelchair-accessible, demand-response transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Benton County. This service is called BAT Lift. As a part of this service, BAT also provides ADA paratransit on behalf of Corvallis Transit System (CTS) and the Philomath Connection (PC) for individuals who live within 3/4 of mile from a CTS or PC bus route and have a disability or a health condition that prevents them from using public transportation.
You may be eligible for these services if at least one of the following situations applies to you:
- You are 65 years of age or older;
- You have a disability or health condition that prevents you from using public transportation. *Information confirming details from a caseworker, primary healthcare provider, and/or a rehabilitation officer may be required for approval*
If you are trying to go to North Albany area or you reside in North Albany, the North Albany Service may be a good choice for you. If deemed eligible for BAT Lift, you will also be eligible to request rides on the North Albany Service.

Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturdays 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
ADA Paratransit in Corvallis is available at any time a CTS bus is in service. ADA Paratransit in Philomath is available at any time a PC bus is in service. Hours may vary. For more information, go to corvallisoregon.gov/cts for more information about CTS and PC transit service.
BAT Lift Service:
New Year's Day; Easter; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; or Christmas Day.

In the case of inclement weather or road closures, Benton Area Transit will attempt to provide all scheduled rides where possible. BAT may reschedule non-critical rides if deemed unsafe to provide them.
BAT Lift fares vary depending on destination and origin location. Fares are based on one-way trips and range between $2.50 - $5.25. For more information visit the Fares & Passes page.
ADA Paratransit one-way rides are fareless if the ride begins and ends within ¾ of a mile of a CTS bus route. ADA Paratransit one-way rides cost $1.50 if the ride begins and/or ends within ¾ of a mile of a Philomath Connection bus route within the city of Philomath.
