What is the BAT North Albany Service?
The North Albany Service is a wheelchair-accessible service for seniors and individuals with disabilities that travels between Corvallis and North Albany. This service works like a bus route with defined stops at popular locations in Corvallis and North Albany. Individuals certified by BAT through our eligibility process are able to request door-to-door rides along the route when the bus is in their area. Transfers can be made to Albany Transit System or Albany Call-a-Ride, which both provide service to South Albany. If you are not certified by BAT, you may still use the service but you will only be able to board and alight the bus at timed stops only.

To determine if you are eligible for certification, you can apply online by clicking the link above. If you would prefer a paper application, please click here for a printable copy of the application (para español, haga clic aquí), or use the links to the application in the supporting documents section at the bottom of this page to begin the application process. Once approved for service, directions for scheduling rides with BAT will be provided. You may be eligible for certification if you are within Benton County with at least one of the following:

  • 65 years of age or older;
  • You are outside of the Corvallis/Philomath area and have a disability and limited transportation options (information confirming details from a caseworker, primary healthcare provider, and/or a rehabilitation officer may be required);

For more information on certification, or if you have questions regarding this service, please call the Benton Area Transit / CTS eligibility line at 541-766-6318.
