8/21/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY).  On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at approximately 12:40am, deputies stopped Donalyn HOWARD, 49, for a traffic violation near Western Boulevard and Grove. Deputies cited and released HOWARD for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
8/21/19 - BCSO - UNNECESSARY NOISE.  On August 17, 2019, at about 9:30 PM, deputies responded to a noise complaint on the 3600 block of NW Eagle View Drive, in North Albany. Deputies arrived to a large party and live band. The party consisted of about 100 skate boarders and loud rock music. Deputies spoke to the homeowner about shutting the party down. The man was very upset and apprehensive, but eventually understood and elected to stop the party but informed the people were camping on his property. Deputies told him if they were called out again for noise after 10 PM, he would be arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He said he understood and began shutting down the party.
8/21/19 - ASSAULT 4 – MIS.  On Sunday, August 18, 2019, at about 3:45 pm, deputies observed Jason Jon Feld, 46, head-butt a man on the sidewalk near Jefferson Avenue and 1st Street. Deputies arrested Feld for Assault IV and transported Feld to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
8/21/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE.  On August 18, 2019, at about 5:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of NW Blacktail Trail Drive, near Corvallis for found property. Deputies arrived and spoke to a resident who showed them a small fridge left on his property. The fridge had a used bong inside but was otherwise empty.
8/21/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Sunday, August 18, 2019, around 6:00 P.M., deputies met the Lincoln County Sheriff`s Office near the intersection of Harlan Road and Burnt Woods road to assist with transporting their arrestees. Benjamin Troy Ross, 57, had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTC-DWS-Misdemeanor, Bail: $931.00. Deputies issued Ross a criminal citation to appear at the Albany Municipal Court. Ross was released on scene.
8/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, August 18th, 2019, at about 7:45 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street near 26th Street for a traffic violation and arrested the driver, GARY LEO HOUSE, 28, on an outstanding Linn County Circuit court warrant. He was taken to the Linn County Jail.
8/21/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, August 19, 2019, at about 7:00 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 at Granger Avenue for a report of an injury crash.  Deputies determined unit 1 was turning east onto Highway 20 from Granger Avenue and failed to make certain it was clear to safely pull out into traffic. Unit 2 was westbound on Highway 20 and crashed into unit 1. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
8/21/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, August 19, 2019 at about 2:00 P.M., deputies spoke to a citizen at her residence on the 5200 block of NE Laurel Drive. She stated the Adair code enforcement officer came onto her property and did not leave when told to. The code enforcement officer stated he was not on her property and was only taking pictures from the sidewalk.
8/21/19 - MENACING - SIMPLE ASLT; DUII; ASSAULT 2; RECKLESS ENDANGERING - SIMPLE ASLT.  On Monday, August 19th, 2019, at 11:21 p.m., deputies responded to the area of NW Sulphur Springs Rd and Soap Creek Rd, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a motor vehicle crash, and possible domestic disturbance. The crash was a two-vehicle crash. Omar Fuentes, 35, was chasing a woman in her vehicle, stemming from an argument. The woman crashed into a tree. The man was arrested for Att-Assault II, Menacing, DUII, and Reckless Endangering.
8/21/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Friday, August 16th, 2019, at about 3:50 P.M., a man was driving south on Bellfountain Road near Holiday lane when he drove off the road, and struck a group of trees. He told deputies that he drove off the road to avoid a group of raccoons.
8/21/19 - THEFT 2 – DECEPTION. On Friday, August 16, 2019, at approximately 2:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a man regarding fraudulent charges on his mother’s bank statement. He said that his mother had sent money to a corporation in Jamaica totaling approximately 400.00 dollars. He noticed that the charges were fraudulent, and called his mother’s bank to report it as such, but wanted to file a police report as well.
8/21/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM. On Thursday, August 15, 2019, at about 12:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a car break in at Peavy Arboretum. The owner of the vehicle said the only thing missing from the car was a bag with sunscreen and waterbottle.
8/21/19 - BURGLARY 2 – BUSINESS; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM. On August 14th, 2019, at about 9:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to NE Garden and Highway 20 for a Cold Burglary. It was reported that nothing was missing, but his door was damaged during the entry. Deputies located some damage on the door and the doorframe.
8/19/19 - UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM.  On August 15, 2019, at about 4 pm, deputies were dispatched to an UEMV at Crescent Valley High School. The man stated he parked his vehicle in the north (back) lot at around 7 am. When he returned, the front passenger side window was broken out and that nothing was taken.
8/19/19 – LITTERING.  On July 31, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious package that was dumped near the 800 Gate on Oregon State School of Forestry property. Deputies drove to the gate and the item was a box of spoiled meat in a Van Vleet Meat Company box that was decomposing. Deputies contacted OSU and had them pick up the box and take it to the dump.
8/16/19 - FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE.  On August 13, 2019, at around 02:55 am, deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of NE Seavy Circle in Corvallis for a pick-up truck that struck a parked car. The caller reported the truck left the area without stopping. Witnesses reported a white colored pickup truck with canopy sped off when he ran outside. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the pickup truck.
8/16/19 - BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; THEFT 2.  On August 12, 2019, at about 8:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 1400 block of SE Alexander Avenue, In Corvallis. Deputies spoke to a complainant, who said his bike was stolen between 1- 3 days prior. He said his bike, a custom painted white and blue Cannondale road bike, had been stolen from his shed in the past few days. He said he did not know when or who took the bike and the shed did not have doors preventing anyone from seeing the bike. He said the bike costs around $900.00 to replace and did not have the serial number.
8/16/19 – THEFT 1.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 9:00 P.M., deputies spoke with a man by telephone. He stated he had recently went to a cell phone company to switch his account from his deceased wife’s name into his name. He discovered someone had purchased an iPhone on his account valued at $1,100. He needed a case number regarding the incident.
8/16/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 8:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched Highway 20 near Hyak Park for a crash. The driver crashed her vehicle on the north side ditch of Highway 20. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
8/16/19 – FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies spoke to a woman by phone regarding $5,000 charged to her bank account. She had previously talked to her bank and needed a case number.
8/16/19 – DUII.  On Sunday, August 11, 2019 at approximately 11:30 pm, I arrested Logan WISE, 22, for driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He provided a breath sample of 0.24%.
8/16/19 – CARRY CONCEALED WEAPON; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; DUII DRUGS.  On August 11th, 2019, at 12:43 AM, deputies stopped Douglas Klein, 52, on West Hills Road near N 19th Street in Philomath for traveling 67 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour speed zone. They later arrested Klein for DUII after I determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Klein was in possession of a concealed weapon and Methamphetamine during the arrest. Klien was cited and released for DUII, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
8/16/19 – DUII; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Saturday, August 10, 2019, around 7:30 P.M., deputies arrested Anthony Scott Davis, 47, for DUII after he ran into the ditch on Highway 34 near Hayden Road. Davis refused a breath sample. A search warrant for blood was obtained. Davis was booked into the Benton County Jail for DUII, Reckless Driving and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
8/16/19 – CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2. On Saturday, August 10, 2019, at about 12:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 34 near mile post 38 for a report of illegal camping. Deputies arrived and spoke with the campers. They admitted to camping overnight in the day use area and agreed to move to a campground.
8/16/19 - POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 1; DUII; POSS COCAINE; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD).  On Saturday, August 10th, 2019, at 1:42 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Hills Rd and N 19th St, Philomath, Benton County, Oregon. The driver, McKenzy Johnson, 18, was arrested for DUII (0.09 % BAC), PCS-Schedule 1 (LSD), PCS-Cocaine, and PCS-Methamphetamine. Johnson was issued citations for all charges and released.
8/16/19 – RECKLESS ENDANGERING; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE SCHUDULE 4; DUII DRUGS.  On August 8, 2019, at about 7 pm, deputies stopped Amanda Jean Gallegos, 28, at the ODOT office on Philomath Blvd after she was called in as a possible intoxicated driver. Deputies arrested Gallegos for DUII after it was determined she was impaired and unable to operate a motor vehicle safely. Gallegos was released to a sober driver.
8/16/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; DUII; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at about 8:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of NW Highland Dr. for an injury crash. The driver was traveling north on NW Highland Dr. near Crescent Valley High School and crashed her vehicle into multiple trees on the east side of the road. Corvallis Medics transported the driver to Good Samaritan Hospital for her injuries. Deputies applied for and were granted a searched warrant for her blood and urine. The driver was cited for DUII and Criminal Mischief I.
8/16/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, August 6 2019 at approximately 12:50 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99 and Mountain View for a report of a roll over crash. The driver was traveling too fast to maintain control of his vehicle and crashed into the ditch on the west shoulder of Highway 99.
8/16/19 – POSS METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Monday August 5, 2019, at about 9:20 P.M., deputies observed a vehicle parked at Takena Landing with a male standing outside of it. The male, later identified as Darrell Thompson, 63, was cited for PCS - Methamphetamine. Deputies provided Thompson a copy of his citation.
8/14/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Thursday, August 8, 2019, at approximately 5:40 PM, detectives located a stolen bike at a campsite on the east side of Pioneer Park in Corvallis. The bicycle was a light blue, Specialized brand, women`s road bike worth approximately $1,650 that was recently stolen from the front of a Corvallis business.  Deputies returned the bicycle to its owner.
8/14/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 8, 2019 at about 4:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a hit and run that occurred on Elks Dr. at HWY 99W. Unit 1 was stopped at the stop sign with Unit 2 stopped behind it. The driver of unit 1 stated Unit 2 ran into the back of her vehicle when it appeared she was going to go but ended up stopping. Unit 1 had a minor stuff from Unit 2’s front license plate. The driver of Unit 2 later stated he did not know he had hit Unit 1. Deputies assisted with driver and insurance information exchange.
8/14/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at about 10:45 am, deputies stopped a vehicle for failure to maintain its lane of travel and later arrested the driver, John Edward Blackburn, 38, for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Blackburn`s blood alcohol content was 0.15%. Blackburn was later released to a sober friend.
8/12/19 - PAROLE VIOLATION – WARRANT.  On August 10, 2019, at 6:10 AM, deputies stopped Darius Panknin, 25, on SW Washington Avenue near SW 15th Street in Corvallis for failing to signal a turn. Panknin had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Probation Violation/ Shoplift, Bail $5,000. Panknin was issued a new court date and released.
8/12/19 - POSS BURGLARS TOOLS; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Thursday, August 8, 2019, at approximately 5:40 PM, deputies contacted and arrested GARRETT CASPINO, near Pioneer Park in Corvallis. CASPINO had multiple felony confirmed warrants for his arrest. CASPINO was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail on his warrants. CASPINO was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Burglary Tools. Warrant info: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Burglary II, No Bail; and 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Failure to Appear I (X2) / FTA Criminal Trespass II, $7,500 Bail.
8/12/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 3, 2019, at about 3:15 p.m., deputies responded to a crash at Highway 20 and Lilly Hill Road. The driver lost control of his boat trailer and jack-knifed his trailer and truck in the eastbound lanes.
8/12/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 7:38 PM, deputies contacted and arrested ZACHERY JOHNSON, 29, on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant near 300 NW 3rd St, in Corvallis. JOHNSON was issued a criminal citation with a court date in lieu of Custody for his warrant and released. Warrant info: Sweet Home Municipal Court, FTC Theft II, $10,000 Bail.
8/12/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 5:27 PM, deputies located a stolen bike at a campsite in the area of Pioneer Park in Corvallis. The bicycle was recently stolen from a bike rack on the north side of Bloss Hall, Oregon State University. Deputies transported the bicycle to the Oregon State University Department of Public Safety. An Oregon State Police Trooper took possession of the bicycle so it could later be returned to its owner.
8/9/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 8:18 PM, deputies located and arrested JOSEPH SHORES, 47, in a camp between the Marys River and the bike path in Pioneer Park in Corvallis. SHORES had five confirmed felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. SHORES was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked on his warrants. SHORES was subsequently released due to overcrowding. Warrant info: 1) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail; 2) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA I / FTA Criminal Citation, No Bail; 3) Lebanon Municipal Court, PV Criminal Mischief III, $10,000 Bail; 4) Brownsville Municipal Court, FTA Criminal Citation, $7,500 Bail; and 5) Sweet Home Municipal Court, FTA Trespass I, $6,250 Bail.
8/9/19 – CONTEMPT OF COURT.  On August 8, 2019, at about 2:08 p.m., Parole and Probation Deputy Johnson requested patrol serve a Lebanon Muni Court Warrant. Deputies cited Thomas Xuan Upper, 20, for a confirmed Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant for Contempt of Court.
8/9/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 7:40 A.M., Vehicle 1 was stopped on Granger Avenue at Highway 20. Vehicle 1 saw a vehicle in the turning lane to turn right onto Granger Avenue and did not see vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 when vehicle 2 crashed into the driver’s side front door of vehicle 1.
8/9/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 7:40 A.M., Vehicle 1 was stopped on Granger Avenue at Highway 20. Vehicle 1 saw a vehicle in the turning lane to turn right onto Granger Avenue and did not see vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 when vehicle 2 crashed into the driver’s side front door of vehicle 1.
8/9/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Dawson Road for a reported fight. Deputies cited Cody A. Hull, 41, and Casey G. Hull, 43, for harassment.
8/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, August 5, 2019, at about 4:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Highway 99W, near NW Arboretum Road, near Corvallis. They arrived to find car 1 parked on the side of the road with the other reported vehicle not on site. Car 1 was driving north on Highway 99W about 40 mph when traffic suddenly slowed. Car 1 attempted to slowdown but was unable and struck car 2, rear-ending the car. Car 1 caused minor damage to car 2's bumper which was described as cosmetic. Car 2 traded insurance information, continued driving and did not leave a contact number. Car 1 stated his damage was more severe and remained on scene for law enforcement.
8/9/19 – THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE.  On August 5, 2019, at about 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of NW Highway 99 for theft of a license plate. The owner already reported it to DMV and received a new license plate.
8/9/19 – DUII.  On August 3, 2019, at 2:00 AM, dispatch broadcasted a possible impaired driver traveling eastbound on Philomath Boulevard near 26th Street in Corvallis. Deputies caught up to the vehicle matching the description and stopped it on Highway 34 near milepost 3 for reasonable suspicion of DUII, after they observed the driver weaving back and forth from fog line to the center line. The driver, Benjamin Judy, 31, refused to do Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Judy was arrested after deputies determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Judy was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he refused to provide a breath sample under the Oregon Implied Consent Law. Deputies obtained a search warrant to seize a sample from him and his blood alcohol content was .13%.
8/8/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, August 5, 2019 at about 2:00 P.M. I arrested Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 48, for 4 confirmed warrants: three for Fail to Appear and one for a Probation Violation. Kathrin was transported to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office and was cited and released.
8/8/19 – DUII.  On August 3, 2019 at about 11:14 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Lewisburg near Mountain View. Matthew Richard Hughes, 37, was westbound on Lewisburg when the front right tire’s suspension gave out. Deputies arrested Hughes for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to drive safely. Hughes was transported to the Benton County Jail where his BAC was found to be .09%. Hughes was then cited and released.
8/6/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT; VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at approximately 11:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 200 NW 5rd Street for report of a female being chased by a male. Deputies arrived and spoke to JACKSON R TEGAN, 20, who was later arrested for the Violation of Release Agreement and transported to the Benton County Jail.
8/6/19 - RECKLESS DRIVING; FELONY DWS; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at about 6:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 34, near Mile post 50, near Philomath. The crash site was later discovered to be about milepost 46. The vehicle was located off the roadway on the south side of the highway and was driven by Robert Smith, 39. Robert was outside the vehicle and was attended to by medics. The vehicle appeared to be driving west, it left its lane of travel, crossed over the eastbound lane, left the road, struck 2 trees, breaking them, and finally laid to rest on the driver’s side. Deputies spoke to Robert and he stated he thinks he fell asleep while driving. Robert was not able to recall the events due to a medical event at the time of the crash. Robert was issued arrest citations for Driving While Revoked- Felony and Reckless driving.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 3, 2019, at about 4:13 pm, deputies were dispatched to a possible injury traffic crash on South Fork Rd about 1.5 miles west of Alsea Falls. Driver 1 was westbound on South Fork Rd when she failed to negotiate a curve due to excessive speed. She crashed into the south ditch causing damage that would require the vehicle to be towed from the scene. Deputies transported the six passengers to their residence in Corvallis.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at approximately 8:45 A.M., deputies arrived at Monroe Avenue near 4th Street for a reported crash between a Corvallis Police patrol vehicle and another vehicle. They arrived and spoke with an Officer who told deputies the other vehicle made a wide turn onto Monroe Avenue from 4th Street and struck the rear driver side of his patrol car, causing damage. Deputies cited the other driver for Failure to Drive within Lane.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 2, 2019, at about 5 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury traffic crash on HWY 99W near Granger. Vehicle #2 was southbound on HWY 99W, having just stopped at a stoplight at the intersection of Granger Ave. Vehicle #1 ran into the back of Vehicle #2, which was towing a boat. Driver of Vehicle #1 stated his foot slipped off the pedal. After the crash, only the passenger side taillight of the boat trailer was working. Vehicle #1 was towed from the scene.
8/6/19 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On August 2, 2019 at about 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 24000 block of Territorial Highway for a report of a restraining order violation. After reviewing the restraining order, deputies arrested Austin Matthew Snyder, 22, for Violation of Restraining Order. He was lodged at Benton County Jail.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 1, 2019 at about 5:20 pm, deputies were responding to a call near Highway 20 and MP 4 when they came upon a non-injury traffic crash. Vehicle 1 wasn’t able to wasn’t able to stop in time when traffic slowed, and crashed into the back of vehicle 2.
8/6/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Thursday, August 1, 2019, at approximately 11:20 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the Board of Commissioner`s Office at 205 Northwest 5th Street for a reported trespass. Dispatch advised deputies a woman was in the lobby and refusing to leave. She soon left the office and was arrested by Corvallis Police for an unrelated crime. Deputies later spoke with an employee who works in the office, and was told they did not want her permanently trespassed, only moved along for the day.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, August 1st, 2019, at 7:54 a.m., deputies responded to the area of SW 53rd St and SW Reservoir Ave for a two vehicle crash. Deputies determined Veh #2 was stopped on 53rd St facing south, waiting for a traffic light to turn green. Veh #1 was traveling southbound on 53rd St, saw Veh #2 stopped, and attempted to stop. Driver of Veh #1 told deputies her brakes made a grinding noise, and they did not work. Veh #1 was unable to stop before hitting Veh #2.
8/6/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at about 8:00pm, deputies arrested Russell Zieske, 52, of Shreveport, LA, at the Benton County Fair on a warrant issued by the Florence Municipal Court for FTA Criminal Mischief II. Zieske was cited and released.
8/6/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On July 31, 2019, at about 8:45 a.m., deputies issued Manuel J Pinedo, 31, a citation in lieu of custody for Harassment after he punched his cellmate in the face at the Benton County Jail for taking too long of a shower.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, July 30th, 2019, at 9:21 p.m., deputies responded to Marys Peak Rd / MP 8 for a single vehicle crash. It was reported there was nobody around the vehicle and the airbags were deployed. Deputies located the vehicle in the ditch and were unable to locate anybody associated with the vehicle. Based on the damage to the vehicle, it is highly unlikely the occupant(s) were injured. Deputies put caution tape on the vehicle, and left a business card with a case number under the windshield wiper.
8/6/19 - K9 TRACK.  On July 30, 2019, at 6:13 AM, deputies responded to the 1100 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis for a Burglary. The back door was pried open and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash from the location. K9 Brutus tracked and trailed to a wooded area behind Home Depot and along the Railroad Tracks. K9 Brutus lost interest behind Home Depot. Deputies searched the area for about one hour and did not locate any suspects.
8/6/19 - THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Friday, July 26, 2019, at about 1:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to multiple complaints of cars being broken into in the Lewisburg and Adair Village area. The involved members made multiple purchases with stolen cards, for a grand total of about $16,000 dollars. They dumped the items in Eugene, where deputies collected and submitted to evidence.
8/1/19 – USING INVALID DL.  On July 29th, 2019 at about 5:50 PM, deputies arrested TOBY GRAY GREER, 42, for Using An Invalid License after a traffic stop at Highway 20 near milepost #44. GREER was cited and released in the field.
8/1/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION.  On July 30th, 2019, deputies assisted with a citizen contact in Avery Park. While there, they recognized a male with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, ANDREW LEE WESLEY DAVIS, 26, and arrested him on the warrant.
8/1/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – VANDALISM.  On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at about 2:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Evergreen Rd for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a resident who reported she discovered the shrubs at the entrance of her driveway were destroyed. There were tire marks from her driveway, which lead to the shrubs. She estimated about $30 in damage.
8/1/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday July 30, 2019 at about 9:45 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 34 milepost 29 for a single vehicle crash. The driver fell asleep and crashed his vehicle into the westbound ditch.
8/1/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION.  On July 30, 2019, deputies contacted Robert D. McDaniel, 32, at SW Sylvia and SW West Hills Road. He had a confirmed Benton County Warrant for FTA- Theft III Bail $500. Deputies issued him a citation in lieu of custody.
8/1/19 - DUII. On Sunday, July 28, 2019, at about 3:15 am, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Philomath Blvd. at 71st Street. The driver, Erik Diaz, 23, consented to and failed voluntary standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and was transported to the Benton County Jail where he provided a breath sample of 0.14% BAC.
8/1/19 – DWS MIS.  On Saturday, July 27, 2019, at about 8:45 P.M., deputies arrested Victor Lugo-Martinez, for DWS Misdemeanor on Summit Hwy/Hwy 20 in Blodgett. Victor was cited and released.
8/1/19 – LITTERING.  On Saturday, July 27, 2019, at about 5:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highland Dell Park for clothing and urine at the park entrance. Deputies were unable to locate any clothing or urine.
8/1/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Friday, July 26, 2019, about 9:06 am, deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 20 and Woods Creek for the report of a motor vehicle crash. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.
8/1/19 – CONTMEPT OF COURT.  On July 25, 2019, at about 10:45 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for parking in a posted no parking zone. The driver, Dylan R Shirkey, had a confirmed Linn County Justice Court Warrant for Contempt of Court. Shirkey was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant and citations for DWS (Violation) and Driving Uninsured.
8/1/19 – THEFT 1.  On Thursday, July 25, 2019 at about 2:11 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 7100 block of NW Springhill Drove for the report of a burglary. Approximately 80 hemp plants were taken from the property. The theft occurred between 12:30 am and 1:30 am that day. The plants were valued at $65.00 dollars each and totaling about $5200.00.
8/1/19 – DUII.  On July 24, 2019, deputies arrested Arthur Scott Kassoff, 23, for DUII following a single vehicle crash at Highway 99W south of Alpine Road. Kassoff provided a breath sample of .11% BAC. He was issued a citation for DUII.
8/1/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – VANDALISM.  On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at approximately 12pm, a resident reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to break into a lockbox he built near a vegetable kiosk. The suspect was not able to make entry into the lockbox.
8/1/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING OTHER ROAD; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION BY PERSON 21 YEARS OR OLDER; DUII - BAC TEST REFUSED; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On July 18, 2019 at 10:30 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for Unsignaled Lane change and Reckless driving after the driver almost struck a fire hydrant at NW 1st St, turning off of NW Van Buren Ave. The passenger was transported by medics to GSH. The driver, Tarek Naser Wanli, 20, was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was transported to Benton County Sheriff`s Office where he refused tests. Deputies were granted a telephonic search warrant and GSH drew Wanli`s blood. He was lodged at BCSO.
7/29/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at approximately 8:45 P.M., vehicle 1 was driving west on Pettibone Drive near milepost 2 when it struck a deer. The vehicle then traveled off the road to the north and struck a small tree.
7/29/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, around 6:00 A.M., deputies arrived on Highway 34 near Winney Road for a reported crash. The driver was traveling east on Highway 34 when a deer ran in front of him. The vehicle hit the deer in the middle of the front grill causing the radiator to break. The driver airbag was deployed. The vehicle was pushed off the side of the Highway and Pitcher arranged for a tow. Pitcher was not injured and deputies gave him a ride to Philomath.
7/29/19 - POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 2; MIS DWS; FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION.  On Monday, July 22, 2019, at about 9:15 am, deputies arrested Zachary Tyler, 40, for Driving While Suspended- Misdemeanor and Possession of a Controlled Substance- Schedule ll, on Highway 20 near milepost 41. Zachary also had a Failure to Appear warrant for Contempt of Court issued from the Philomath Municipal Court. Zachary was issued citation in lieu of custody and told to call a friend to drive the car.
7/29/19 - INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER – THREAT; RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION.  On July 5, 2019, at about 6:00 p.m., deputies arrested Anna Nichole Watts, 21, at the 4900 block of SW West Hills Road for Linn County Warrant for FTA on a Criminal Citation, Criminal Trespass II, Interfering with Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest. She was lodged at Benton County Jail.
7/26/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, July 25, 2019 at about 4:00 P.M., deputies arrested Jason James Wuestewald, 39, for a confirmed FTA- Hit and Run warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Jason was issued a citation and released.
7/26/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On July 24th, 2019, on the Hwy 34 Bypass. STRICKLAND was cited and released in the field.
7/26/19 - IDENTITY THEFT; FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD); FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at approximately 7:30 PM, deputies arrested ANGELICA HART, 25,on a confirmed felony warrant near the Corvallis Skate Park at 190 SW B Avenue. HART was in possession of a restricted knife, a debit card in someone else`s name, as well as drug paraphernalia and a small amount of Methamphetamine. HART was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail on her warrant. HART was also charged with Identity Theft, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon (Misdemeanor).
7/24/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at about 8:50 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 34000 block of Hawk Hill Rd. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the resident who stated between 4:00 P.M. and 8:30 A.M., a person/s went into his vehicle and stole $200 glasses, prescription medication and other misc. items. No suspect information.
7/24/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On July 22nd, 2019, at about 9:50 PM, deputies arrested BENJAMIN TROY ROSS, 57, after they stopped a vehicle he was a passenger in. Ross was cited and released on an outstanding warrant.
7/24/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Monday, July 22nd, 2019, at 8:50 p.m., deputies resident by telephone. She told deputies she was followed to her car by an unknown male subject near the trailhead of McDonald Forest located at Hwy 99W / MP 76. Once at her vehicle, the male subject grabbed her arm through the vehicle window and her dog bit the male. At that point the male fled and she left the scene.
7/24/19 - DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2.  On 7/22/19, deputies responded to the 23000 block of Gray Creek in Philomath for a Disorderly Conduct. The complainant  was upset with his neighbors to the east because they were playing loud music. Deputies could hear the music prior to reaching the residence. Deputies went next door and spoke with the neighbor who said she was playing the music so they could hear it while in the pool, which was about 60 yards south of her house. She agreed to turn down the music.
7/24/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On 7/18/19, trespass by a neighbor to get fruit off a tree she owns. Neighbor was issued a warning.
7/23/19 - FELON IN POSS OF FIREARM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; UNLAW POSS OF FIREARM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM - FEL POSS.  On July 20, 2019, at 10:30 PM, deputies arrested Wesley Hill, 30, for Criminal Trespass II after deputies observed him trespassing in a wooded area on SW West Hills Road near SW Timian Street in Corvallis. The property owner has requested BCSO arrest anyone caught trespassing on his property. Hill was previously warned for trespassing on the same property a week prior. Hill was a convicted felon and in possession of a firearm when he was arrested. Hill was lodged at the Benton County Jail for Criminal Trespass II, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Trespass with a Firearm. Hill was released from the jail due to overcrowding.
7/23/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM.  On Saturday, July 20, 2019, at about 2:40 pm, deputies spoke with a resident on the phone regarding vandalism on his property. They stated a power cord to their sprinkler pump had been cut sometime within the past seven days. They stated they had no suspects and simply wanted to file a report with law enforcement.
7/23/19 – DWS FELONY.  On Saturday, July 20, 2019, at about 9:25 am, deputies stopped a vehicle for using a mobile communication device while operating a vehicle and later arrested the driver, Vincent David Roy Lucero, 34, for Felony Driving While Suspended. Deputies transported Lucero to the Benton County Jail and lodged him.
7/23/19 – FAIL TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER.  On Wednesday July 17, 2019 at about 2:30 P.M., deputies arrested Bobby Loftis, 46, at the Sheriff’s Office for being out of compliance with his sex offender registry. Loftis was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail for Fail to Report as a Sex Offender.
7/22/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 7/22/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 0215, DEPUTIES WERE PREPARING INCOMING JAIL TRANSPORT FILES. THERE WAS A NOTE IN EPICA PREUITT, 47, FILE THAT SAID THAT SHE HAD A WARRANT OUT OF LINN CO JUSTICE COURT FOR PV CONTEMPT, BAIL $12500.00. DEPUTIES CONTACTED DISPATCH AND THEY CONFIRMED THE WARRANT. THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON PREUITT WHO WAS LOCATED AT THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL UPON RETURNING ON TRANSPORTS.
7/22/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 7/21/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 2358, DEPUTIES WERE PREPARING TO FORCE RELEASE PONDELICK, ANDREW, 23, DUE TO OVERCROWDING. DEPUTIES RAN PONDELICK AND IT SHOWED THAT HE HAD A WARRANT OUT OF LINN CO FOR FTA PCS METH NO BAIL.  DEPUTIES CONFIRMED THE WARRANT WITH DISPATCH AND LINN CO GAVE A CITE DATE. THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON PONDELICK WHO WAS LOCATED IN THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL 190 NW 4TH STREET IN CORVALLIS.
7/22/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD) PARAPHERNALIA; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; PAROLE VIOLATION; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT; WARRANT ARREST (LW ONLY).  On July 21, 2019 at about 10:30 pm, Deputies contacted Jeremiah Louis Jones, 30, for trespassing in the tree farm near 53rd and West Hills. Jones had three confirmed warrants for his arrest: PV-Benton County, warrant, no bail; Lincoln County FTA Harassing Communications, bail $10002; Philomath Muni Court Criminal Trespass I, $5000 bail. Deputies arrested Jones and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
7/22/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, July 20, 2019, at about 2:50 A.M., deputies arrested Felipe Leo Morfin, 30, for multiple warrants. Morfin was transported to the jail where he was booked and lodged.
7/22/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On July 20, 2019, at 12:04 AM, deputies walked through all the wooded property on the Northeast Corner of SW 53rd Street and SW West Hills Road in Corvallis. All Transient camps appear to have been abandoned and no one was located trespassing on the property.
7/22/19 - THEFT 2 – OTHER.  On Thursday, July 18, 2019, at approximately 8:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to contact a resident regarding a theft of two kayaks, an outboard motor, and a marine battery. He said sometime between approximately 5:30 P.M. on July 17th, 2019 and 5:30 P.M. on July 17th, someone stole two green Emotion sit inside kayaks, an older outboard motor, and a marine battery from his dock on the river side of his property. There are no suspects.
7/22/19 - THEFT 2 – DECEPTION.  On Thursday, July 18, 2019 at approximately 5:35 P.M., deputies spoke with a victim regarding fraud. He told reported someone he knows from church had his email, "hacked," and they emailed him requesting Amazon gift cards. He said he provided 5-$100.00 dollar Amazon gift cards scanned in an email. Four of these were recovered and reimbursed to his account.
7/22/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On July 17, 2019 at around 5:50 P.M., deputies contacted Denise RIHIMAKI, 44, on the 2300 block of NW 9th Street. RIHIMAKI was later arrested, cited and released for a confirmed warrant.
7/22/19 – BURGLARY 1.  On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at about 11:23 am, deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of McBee Road for the report of a cold burglary. Jewelry items and car keys were taken. There was no forced entry into the home.
7/22/19 - POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 4; DUII – DRUGS.  On July 17, 2019 at about 1:19 AM, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Greenberry Rd, about ½ a mile east of Bellfountain Rd. Deputies responded and subsequently arrested Chani Jacobsen, 25, for DUII- Drugs and Possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.
7/22/19 - INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; PROBATION VIOLATION.  On July 12, 2019, at about 9:00 pm, deputies arrested Wesley Jarel Hill, 30, in the tree farm near 53rd and West Hills after he took off running from another deputy. Hill had a confirmed Linn County Circuit Court warrant for Probation Violation. Deputies transported Hill to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his warrant, Criminal Trespass II and Interfering.
7/22/19 - THEFT 2 - VEH PARTS/ACC.  On Tuesday June 11, 2019 at about 3:00 P.M., deputies spoke with and arrested Robert Mercer, 61, for theft II on Territorial Highway near Dragon Dr. Mercer was later released on citations. Deputies removed the stolen license plates from the vehicle Mercer was driving.
7/22/19 - THEFT 2 – SHOPLIFT; IDENTITY THEFT; POSS HEROIN (MISD).  On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at around 9:00 PM, detectives observed a vehicle occupied by MEGAN BURKE, 26, and NATHANIEL DODSON, 34, engaged in suspected retail theft at the Safeway on Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis. Philomath Police stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation as it left the area and a search following an alert by a drug detecting K9 yielded drug paraphernalia and stolen merchandise. DODSON was cited for Identity Theft, Theft II, and Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor). BURKE was cited for Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor).
7/22/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD); LITTERING.  On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at around 3:30 PM, deputies observed a vehicle occupied by two Individuals later identified as CURTIS ANDRADA, 34, and KENDRA GOFORTH, 31, in the area of the Bottle Drop in Corvallis. Deputies saw GOFORTH throw a partially-full, plastic soft drink cup out her window right before the vehicle turned onto Buchanan Avenue. A consent search of the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia. ANDRADA was cited for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor). GOFORTH was cited for Offensive Littering.
7/18/19 - ASSAULT PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT RESTAURANT; RESISTING ARREST - SIMPLE ASLT RESTAURANT; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2.  On July 17, 2019, at around 5:55 p.m., deputies were on the 23000 block of NW 9th St on a warrant service when Derek Ian Harris, 48, began interfering with an investigation. Harris became combative and fought while being taken into custody, and was eventually tased. Harris was lodged at the Benton County Jail for Assault on a Public Safety Officer, Interfering, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct II.
7/18/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On July 17, 2019 at about 12:10 AM I stopped and arrested Rikki Phillips, 37, on the 600 block of SW Western Blvd for and outstanding Lane County warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
7/18/19 - POSS HEROIN (FELONY); FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD); POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 3; FEL DELIVER METH.  On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at approximately 4:40 PM, deputies contacted and MEGAN BURKE and BRANDON MCCULLOUGH at BURKE`S vehicle in a parking lot of 2400 NW Kings Boulevard in Corvallis. Deputies arrested BURKE on a confirmed felony warrant. A consent search of BURKE`S vehicle yielded various amounts of Heroin, Methamphetamine, Suboxone, and drug paraphernalia. BURKE was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor). MCCULLOUGH was cited for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor).
7/18/19 – ACCIDENT VEHILCE INJURY.  On July 16, 2019, at 3:43am, Unit #1 was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 37 in Blodgett. Unit #1 lost control and crashed into the Guardrail. The driver of Unit #1 had minor injuries, but refused medical attention
7/18/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On July 16, 2019, at 3:43am, Unit #1 was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 37 in Blodgett. Unit #1 lost control and crashed into the Guardrail. The driver of Unit #1 had minor injuries, but refused medical attention.
7/18/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday July 15, 2019 at about 6:15 P.M., Tracy Whipps, 49, was located on the 26000 block of Alpine Rd in Monroe for a confirmed Linn County warrant for contempt of court and arrested and transported to Linn County jail for her warrant.
7/18/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2.  On Monday, July 15th, 2019, at 5:49 p.m., a parked at his girlfriend`s house located on the 4200 block of NE Hwy 20, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. He stated it occurred sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on 07/13/2019. Unknown how damage occurred.
7/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Monday, July 15, 2019, at about 7:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Bellfountain Road, near SW Inavale Way, near Philomath. They arrived to find a vehicle off the road, west of the southbound lane, facing north. The vehicle was facing North in a ditch and was unoccupied. They towed the vehicle and later found the driver at his workplace, who said he was driving south on Bellfountain Road and used his brakes while trying to stop. He said the car began to slide on the water and he spun around, eventually ending up in the ditch, facing the wrong way. He said he tried to drive his car out but was unable.
7/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, July 14th, 2019, at 7:52 p.m., deputies responded to NE Hwy 20 and Granger Ave, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a non-injury two-vehicle crash. Upon arriving, deputies contacted both drivers. Veh #1 was stopped at the stop sign on Granger Ave, waiting to turn north on NE Hwy 20. Veh #2 was traveling south on NE Hwy 20 at a stated speed of 65 MPH. Driver of Veh #2 saw Veh #1 stopped at the stop sign. Veh #1 then started to make the turn, in front of Veh #2. Veh #2 applied the brakes, and swerved to the left. Veh #2 was not able to avoid the collision. Both drivers said they did not have any injuries.
7/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Saturday, July 13, 2019, at about 11:41 am, deputies were dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Mary`s Peak Road near mile post 8. The operator said he was headed west on Mary`s Peak Road. He came into a corner to fast and applied too much rear break, causing the motorcycle to slide out from under him. He said he thought his left leg was broken at the knee. No other vehicles where involved and the motorcycle did not appear to have any damage.
7/17/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Thursday, July 12, 2019, at about 8:50 AM, deputies were dispatched to an assault on the 9100 block of Newton Street in Adair Village. Deputies arrived and spoke with a resident regarding an assault that recently occurred. She said a resident, Paul Arteaga, 78, backed his wheel chair into Anna and pulled her hair. Deputies issued an Arrest citation to Paul for Harassment and left it on his desk.
7/17/19 – ASSAULT 4.  On June 14, 2019, deputies responded to the 200 block of NW 53rd St. for a reported assault. Donald Wayne Johnson, 46, was arrested and lodged at Benton County Jail.
7/17/19 – THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE.  On July 14, 2019, a resident reported a theft of a tool bag containing about $600 worth of tools from the back of his truck while parked on the 7000 block of NW Mountain View Drive. No suspects.
7/17/19 - DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On July 15, 2019, at 2331 hours, deputies responded to the wooded area on West Hills Road near Sylvia Street in Corvallis for a disturbance. Neighbors in the area reported hearing a female yelling continuously somewhere in the wooded area. The area where the yelling was coming from was private property, which the owner has been having issues with transients. The owner has requested BCSO take enforcement action if people are caught on the property. Upon arrival, Laila Rain, 53, and John Tucker, 46, were extremely intoxicated and having a verbal dispute at a campsite on the property. Rain was cited for Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Trespass II. Tucker was cited for Criminal Trespass II. Rain and Tucker were both advised to vacate the property.
7/17/19 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019, at about 10:00 p.m., deputies received information from the Corvallis Police Department regarding a possible restraining order violation that occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sheriff`s Office. Robert Graham, 46, violated the conditions of a restraining order by contacting through a third party via Facebook.
7/17/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at about 8:15 PM, deputies stopped a car at Hwy 99W and milepost 99 in Monroe and arrested the driver, RYAN DOUGLAS MERCKLING, 23, and the passenger ARIEL SARFINA JANTZE, 22, on outstanding Lane County Circuit Court Warrants.

7/17/19 – MENACING; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON; COERCION; ASSAULT 2.  On Monday, July 8, 2019 at approximately 3pm, deputies spoke with residents regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday July 6 at their residence on Independence Highway. On July 11, 2019, deputies arrested Eric HALE, 52, for attempted assault second degree, menacing, coercion and unlawful use of a weapon.

7/17/19 - USING INVALID DL.  On Tuesday, July 9th, 2019, deputies stopped JEREMY PAUL TYCER, 35, on Hwy 20/Hwy 223. TYCER was cited and released for Using An Invalid License.
7/17/19 - DWS MIS OTHER ROAD; WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, July 8th, 2019, deputies stopped DAVID LEWIS SANDERS, 47, on Philomath Blvd at 26th St. SANDERS was arrested for Driving While Revoked (Misdemeanor) and three outstanding Warrants. SANDERS was cited and released on all charges.
7/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, July 8th, 2019, at 11:12 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on NE Hwy 20 near NE Steele Ave, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon.  Veh #1 was traveling westbound on NE Hwy 20 at a stated 55 MPH. The driver of Veh #1 saw two headlights of a vehicle coming towards him traveling the opposite direction. Driver of Veh #1 stated the vehicle coming towards him swerved into his lane of travel. Driver of Veh #1 swerved towards the ditch and off the roadway. Veh #1 damaged a ditch bridge of the nearby residence. Driver of Veh #1 was not injured. The other vehicle was unable to be identified.
7/17/19 - ASSAULT 2; MENACING; STRANGULATION; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON.  On Sunday, July 7, 2019, at about 1:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a prior assault complaint on the 30000 block of Slow Lane, near Philomath. They arrived on scene to speak with a victim regarding an assault that occurred on July 6, 2019, at about 10:30 PM, while he was at a bonfire. He stated he was kicked, punched, choked, and cut by a knife while in a fight with Trenten Duerksen, 19. Multiple witnesses confirm Trenten choking the victim and having a knife held at his neck. Deputies arrested Trenten for Assault II, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Strangulation, and Reckless endangering. Trenten was transported and lodged in the Benton County Jail.
7/17/19 - BURGLARY 2 – RESIDENCE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; THEFT 2 - FROM BUILDING.  On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at about 3:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 26000 block of Alpine Road, near Monroe. The resident said she came home after being gone for about 3 hours and saw her house appeared to have been broken into. The only items taken were her daughters "costume" jewelry with an aggregate total of about $500 dollars to be missing. There was also damage to the jewelry box worth about $75 dollars, and to a Kindle tablet worth about $40 dollars. She said everything of value was still in the home; she did not lock the doors and the back door was open when she came home.
7/16/19 – DWS MIS. On Sunday, July 14, 2019, at about 11am, deputies cited and released Wendelyn STEPHENS, 23, for driving while suspended misdemeanor near 3rd and Twin Oaks in Corvallis.
7/16/19 - WARRANT ARREST; FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER - FALSE INFO.  On Friday, July 12, 2019, at approximately 8:39 P.M. Deputies were checking the wooded area located on the northeast corner of the intersection of West Hills Rd and SW 53rd Street and located ROBERT DANTLEY MCDANIELS who had multiple active warrants for his arrest. When attempting to identify ROBERT he provided the name JEFFREY SANDERS HUGHES, to attempt to avoid being identified for purposes of the warrants he knew he had. Deputies transported ROBERT to the Benton County Jail where he was booked on the warrants and issued a criminal citation for False Information to Peace Officer for purposes of a warrant.
7/16/19 – FAIL TO APPEAR.  On July 12, 2019 at around 6:15 P.M., deputies were in the area of 325 NW 2nd Street when they saw a female and a male in a physical altercation. They contacted Kimberly Diane EMMONS, 50. EMMONS was cited for a confirmed warrant and warned for disorderly conduct.
7/16/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE.  On Thursday, July 11, 2019 at about 7:40 AM, deputies were dispatched to found property at Independence Highway and Camp Adair Road, in the gravel pull out just north of the intersection. They arrived to have a Benton County Public Works employee point out needles he found in the work site. Deputies saw the needles were still capped and in their packaging. The needled appeared to be unused. They collected the three needles to be disposed of and quickly looked through the rest of the area for any additional needles or other possible illicit drug material but did not locate any.
7/16/19 - MAIL THEFT; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY); MIS DWS; WARRANT ARREST; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 4.  On July 11, 2019 at about 2:00 AM, deputies stopped and arrested Zachary Taylor, 39, and Samantha Meadows, 20, for various crimes including unlawful possession of methamphetamine, DWS- Misdemeanor, mail theft, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, and a Lebanon municipal warrant.
7/16/19 – FUGITIVE OUT OF STATE.  On Thursday, July 11, 2019, around 1:24 A.M., deputies arrested Austin Grunewald, 19, on a felony warrant out of Wisconsin. Grunewald was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged.
7/16/19 - RECKLESS DRIVING OTHER ROAD; ELUDE VEHICLE.  On July 7, 2019 at approximately 5:00PM, deputies were eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 1. They observed a yellow motorcycle westbound, traveling at 85 MPH. The motorcycle sped up, turned onto Polk Ave and northbound, against traffic, onto 4th St. The motorcycle rider, later identified as James HUMPHREYS, 55, attempted to hide behind a campervan in a parking lot off 4th St. James HUMPHREYS admitted to running from deputies because he was `scared`. HUNPHREYS said it was a `stupid` thing to do. Deputies arrested James HUMPHREYS for Reckless Driving and Elude. HUMPHREYS was issued criminal citations en lieu of custody and released. HUMPHREYS was also issued a citation for Violation of Basic Rule.
7/16/19 - BURGLARY 2; THEFT 3; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Friday, July 5, 2019, at about 1:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 25000 block of Highway 99W, near Monroe. Deputies spoke to the resident who stated a shed and barn had been broken into. He showed deputies where someone bent a shed door to look inside and where the suspect also lifted a barn garage door to gain access inside. He said the only items he could confirm had been taken were about five vintage license plates, worth about $15 dollars each.
7/10/19 - HARASSMENT; PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Sunday, July 7th, 2019, at 7:59 p.m., deputies responded to the Benton County Jail located at 190 NW 5th St, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a cold assault complaint. Diana Roberts, 37, was issued a citation for Harassment for slapping a Deputy on the forearm.
7/10/19 - THEFT 1; IDENTITY THEFT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE.  On Sunday, July 7, 2019, at approximately 9:15am, deputies responded to the 5000 block of NW Springhill Drive for a report of fraudulent activity. The resident reported his Verizon account was used to ship an item to an address in Albany.
7/10/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL.  On July 6, 2019, at about 9:46 pm, deputies were dispatched to an argument on South Fork Rd about 1 mile east of Alsea Falls Campground. Charles Thomas Fisher, 35, got into an argument with a man. During the argument, Fisher punched him in the face causing reddening. Deputies arrested Fisher for Harassment and transported him to the Benton County Jail.
7/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at about 10:10 P.M., deputies arrested Erin Winona Mcclung, 27, on the 4000 block of West Hills Road. Mcclung had 4 warrants for her arrest. Deputies transported Mcclung to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and released.
7/10/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1.  On Saturday, July 6, 2019 at about 9:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 31000 block of Peterson Road for a report of a male in a field, lighting matches and throwing them in the grass. Philomath Police arrived before them and they were both unable to locate anyone in the area.
7/10/19 - FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE.  On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at about 4:30 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of SW 3rd Street in Corvallis, near SE Alexander Road. They initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, which was being driven by Gabriel Perez Sierra, 39. Deputies arrested Gabriel for Failure to Carry and Present and issued him with an arrest citation, in addition to a citation for other traffic violations.
7/9/19 – DUII DRUGS; DWS MIS.  On Friday, July 5, 2019 at 8:10am, deputies arrested Grayling SMITH, 67 for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended misdemeanor. He provided a breath sample of 0.00% BAC. Deputy LUNDY performed a drug evaluation on SMITH and believed him to be under the influence of cannabis.
7/9/19 - BURGLARY 2; THEFT 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, deputies spoke with a resident by telephone regarding a theft. Sometime in the last week, someone had come onto his property on the 1500 block of SE Alexander Ave and stole a red 5 gallon gas can with gas in it, a Primus brand camp stove and a coffee cup totaling $150. Luke wanted to make a report, if similar crimes have been committed in the area. No suspect information.
7/9/19 – IMPROPER USE OF 911.  On July 8, 2019, at about midnight, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of the 4500 block of SW West Hills Rd. Deputies arrested Andrew Flath, 55, after he called 911 without a reasonable threat to life of property.
7/9/19 - BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at approximately 11am, deputies were dispatched to the1000 block of SE Kiger Island Drive for a report of a burglary. The resident reported the vacant residence belonging to him, was entered within the last week. It is not known if any property was removed.
7/9/19 - INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER; FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER - FALSE INFO.  On Friday, July 5, 2019, at about 5:30 P.M., Robert Dantley Mcdaniel, 32, ran from deputies after providing them with a fake name. Robert had multiple warrants for his arrest. Robert ran into the tree farm where many Corvallis social services are telling transients and criminals to live, located at 53rd Street and West Hills Road.
7/9/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Thursday, July 4, 2019, at about 7:00 am, deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding an open gate. She stated someone opened a gate on her property and released 28 cows and some horses. She recovered all the farm animals and secured the gate. She wanted to file a report, in the event this happened again in the future.
7/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, around 7:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash on South Fork Road near milepost 6. A driver crashed his vehicle after trying to pass another vehicle. The driver was transported to the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center with complaints of pain.
7/9/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On July 2, 2019, at about 9:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to the front of the Law Enforcement center where they issued Crystal Strickland, 29, a citation in lieu of custody for a Lebanon Municipal warrant.
7/9/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Monday, July 1, 2019, at about 5:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to Peterson Road near Cougar Lane for a report of a vehicle crash. Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver, who stated his vehicle started to pull hard to the right. He said he was unable to keep from crashing into the utility pole with the passenger side of the vehicle.
7/1/19 – FUGITIVE OUT OF STATE.  On Monday, July 1, 2019, at approximately 4pm, deputies arrested Timbra MILLER, 18, at 3rd and Wake Robin for a confirmed warrant out of the state of Missouri. Deputies transported her to the Benton County Jail.
7/1/19 - MENACING - INTIMIDATE/THRT; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON.  On July 1, 2019, at about 4:38 am, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Old Peak Rd, Philomath. A resident reported getting into an argument with his landlord, Daniel Bruce Farmer, 59. Farmer shot a gun off inside his residence during the argument. Farmer was arrested for Menacing and Unlawful Use of a Weapon and lodged in the Benton County Jail.
6/27/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at approximately 11:53 A.M., Vehicle 1 was driving west on Crescent Valley Drive. Vehicle 1 lost control while negotiating a curve, causing the vehicle to crash into a ditch on the south side of the road and swerve across the road. The vehicle came to rest facing east in the south ditch.
6/27/19 – THEFT 1; FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD – FEL; UNLAWFUL ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On June, 25, 2019, at 9:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of NE Highway 20 in Corvallis for a Theft from Vehicle. The owner said an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle within the last 24 hours and stole two credit cards. The suspect attempted to make a $2,100 purchase at the Best Buy in Springfield on June 24, 2019, at about 1:30 PM. The transaction was declined and the credit cards were canceled.

6/27/19 - Dillard, Anita Ilene (W F, 56) Arrest on chrg of Assault 4 - Simple Aslt Domestic (M), on the  25000 block of Webster Ave, Monroe, on 06/25/2019.
6/27/19 – PROBATION VIOLATION.  On June 23, 2019 at about 11:20 pm, deputies stopped James Lee Knight, 48, on Hwy 20 near MP 9 for improper positioning upon a roadway. Knight had a confirmed no bail Oregon State Parole Board warrant for Parole Violation. Knight was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
6/27/19 – UUV.  On Sunday, June 23, 2019, at about 1:00 pm, deputies spoke with a man on the phone regarding a stolen Vespa scooter. He stated the Vespa broke down on Highway 99W near Harmony Lane Saturday June 22, 2019 at about 5:00 pm. He then stated he left the Vespa on the shoulder of the Highway. He returned that day to retrieve the Vespa with a trailer and it was gone.
6/27/19 - FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD – MISD.  On Saturday, June 22nd, 2019, at 4:49 p.m., deputies responded to the 24000 block of Evergreen Rd, Philomath, Benton County, Oregon for a report of a fraud. A man reported his son uploaded his credit card information on Facebook, and was sending money using his account. Total money sent equals $79.99 over two transactions.
6/27/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; DUII - BAC TEST REFUSED; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Saturday, June 22, 2019 at approximately 12:56 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 20 and Circle Boulevard for report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash. Deputies later arrested KORI ANN PUTMAN, 37, for DUII, Criminal Mischief I, and Reckless Driving. KORI refused the breath test and a search warrant was obtained for her blood. Deputies booked KORI into the Benton County Jail on the above charges. KORI’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to damage and her dog who was in the vehicle at the time of the crash was taken to Heartland Humane Society.
6/27/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Thursday, June 20, 2019, at approximately 4:04 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Mountain View drive and Leprechaun Lane for report of a single vehicle non-injury crash. Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver of unit 1 who said she had been driving west on NW Mountain View Drive, when an eastbound vehicle approached her and veered into her lane. She said she had to swerve right to avoid a head on collision and ended up crashing into three mailboxes and going into the blackberries / bushes / trees. The vehicle was towed due to damage.
6/27/19 – THEFT 1; UNLAWFUL ENTRY INTO MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Thursday, June 20, 2019 at about 8:30 am, deputies were dispatched to the 4100 block of NE Asbahr Place for a reported unlawful entry in a motor vehicle. Deputies contacted reporting person on the telephone. Someone stole several items from his vehicle. Two pieces of lawn equipment were taken out of the bed of his pickup. Three items were taken from inside the cab of his pickup.
6/27/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, at 8:03 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on NE Hwy 20 at Milepost 5. The driver of the vehicle was driving eastbound, and for an unknown reason was distracted. The vehicle in front of him was slowing to turn left. Vehicle #1 avoided hitting the vehicle in front him by swerving right into the ditch. Driver of Vehicle #1 was not injured.
6/27/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII - DRUGS; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Wednesday June 19, 2019 at about 11:20 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near Mustang Ln. for a crash. Gilbert Hearn, 56, crashed was traveling west on Highway 20 and crashed into another vehicle, which caused that driver to crash into another vehicle. Hearn was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for his injuries. Hearn was cited for DUII, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering.
6/26/19 – THEFT 3; POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE SCHEDULE 4.  On June 24, 2019 at about 11:00 PM, deputies responded to the 6300 block of NW Vineyard Drive for a reported theft of prescription meds.  Karen Wycoff, 65, had stolen prescription medication. Karen was cited for PCS- Schedule IV and Theft III.
6/26/19 – BURGLARY 2/RESIDENCE.  On Monday June 24, 2019 at about 12:00 P.M., deputies arrived on the 300 block of NE Carmen PL. regarding a burglary. The residence had been broken into between the 22nd and early that morning. There was no noticeable damage and due to the house being vacant, nothing was taken. No suspect information.
6/26/19 – POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST (x2).  On June 24, 2019 at about 3:00 AM, deputies arrested Rikki Phillips, 37, near NW Rennie and NW 2nd Street for two warrants and PCS Methamphetamine.
6/26/19 – POSS HEROIN.  On Sunday, June 16, 2019 at approximately 9:20 P.M., deputies stopped BRITTANY MILES, 29, in the area of Highway 99W and Lewisburg Ave for failure to signal within 100 feet. While completing a citation, a BCSO narcotics K9 made a positive alert for the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. A probable cause search yielded heroin and drug paraphernalia. Deputies arrested BRITTANY and released her with a criminal citation for Unlawful Possession of Heroin.
6/26/19 – ACCIDENT NO INJURIES.  On June 14, 2019 at about 4:27 p.m., deputies I responded to a rollover crash at Springhill Dr and Country Club Dr. There were no injuries. Deputies cited the driver, for No Valid DL.
6/26/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, June 13, 2019 at approximately 10:11 P.M., deputies located ANDREW GERALD WINDOM, 44, at his residence located on the 26000 block of Fudge Road, Alsea. ANDREW had an active felony warrant for his arrest. Deputies transported ANDREW to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
6/26/19 - BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Wednesday June 12, 2019 at about 12:45 P.M., deputies arrived on the 1000 block of SE Kiger Island Dr. for a burglary. The resident stated a gas auger, Honda Rototiller ($800), a battery for a tractor, three doors, windows, security cameras, tools, gates, and locks have been damaged, or stolen. They said the total repairs and losses are in excess of $1,000. No suspects.
6/25/19 - ASSAULT PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER; MENACING - INTIMIDATE/THRT; FAIL TO APPEAR 2; CONTEMPT OF COURT; CONTEMPT OF COURT; HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT; RESISTING ARREST.  On June 22, 2019, at 10:34 PM, deputies responded to the 400 block of NW Cheri Place in Albany and contacted Brandon Mink, 39, who had three Linn County Warrants.  He resisted arrest and assaulted a deputy. Brandon was lodged at the Benton County Jail for Assault on a Public Safety Officer, Resisting Arrest, Menacing, Harassment and his three confirmed warrants.
6/25/19 – BURGLARY 1; THEFT 3; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On 6/22/2019, at about 9:00 pm, Eric Ward Nelson, 19, was trespassing and damaging property inside a residence on the 1500 block of SE Alexander Ave, Corvallis. Deputies arrested Nelson for Burg I, Criminal Mischief II, Theft III and Criminal Trespass II.
6/25/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, June 22, 2019 at about 8:20 P.M., deputies contacted Perry Leroy White, 55, at 3000 NW 13th St, Corvallis, for a confirmed warrant out of Philomath Municipal Court for FTC- Trespass II, with a $5,000 bail. White was cited and released in the field.
6/25/19 – FAIL TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF A DRIVER; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, June 22, 2019, Vehicle #1 was parked in the parking area at the Benton Lane Winery on the 23000 block of Territorial Highway. A large white colored pickup backed into Vehicle #1, then drove away. Vehicle #1 had an estimated over $2,500 worth of damage.
6/25/19 – DWS MIS.  On June 18th, 2019 at about 12:00 AM, LISA ANN MONTGOMERY, 26, was arrested as a passenger in a car stop on Philomath Blvd and arrested on an Albany Municipal Warrant, she was cited and released in the field.
6/21/19 – PAROLE VIOLATION; FAIL TO APPEAR WARRANT.  On Friday, June 14, 2019 at approximately 12:50 PM, deputies observed NICHOLE MAY FISHER, 26, driving south on Highway 99W near Buchanan Avenue. Deputies contacted and arrested FISHER, who had multiple felony warrants for her arrest, after stopping the vehicle near 300 SW 4th Street in Corvallis. FISHER was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and lodged on her warrants.
6/21/19 – FAIL TO APPEAR WARRANT.  On June 14, 2019 at about 6:15 p.m., deputies requested a transport for Angela Alice Filip, 22, who had a Linn County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Deputies called Linn County Jail and they requested her be issued a court date and time. Deputies cited and released her.
6/21/19 – DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST; FALSE INFO TO POLICE-IMPERSONATION.  On 7-1-2019 at about 9:40 PM, deputies arrested VIRGIL LEE DYER, 58, for Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) and FRED CLAY DYER, 61, on an outstanding Warrant and Giving False Information to a Deputy Sheriff after a traffic stop on Highway 501 at milepost #3.
6/21/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, at 6:12 p.m., deputies responded to Hwy 20 / MP 44, Philomath, Benton County, Oregon for a traffic crash. Upon arriving, Veh #1 was in the south ditch of Hwy 20 with heavy front-end damage. Veh #2 was in the westbound lane of Hwy 20 with heavy front-end damage. Veh #1 was eastbound on Hwy 20, and negotiating a left turn onto Priest Rd. Veh #1 turned in front of Veh #2, and Veh #2, traveling at 60 MPH westbound, was unable to avoid the collision. Occupants of Veh #2 had no injuries. Occupants of Veh #1 were transported my medics to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries.
6/21/19 – FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/PROPERTY DAMAGE.  On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at about 11:00 A.M., deputies spoke with a resident by telephone. On June 3, she observed damage to the driver side of her front bumper. She said she believes the damage happened June 1, or June 2. She believes the incident happened at Home Grown Gardens or at a Garden shop on Peoria Rd. There is a large dent near the driver side fog light with yellow paint transfer on her car.
6/21/19 – ACCIDENT BICYCLE INJURY.  On Sunday, June .9th, 2019 at 4:52 p.m., deputies responded to Sulphur Springs Rd / MP 1, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a bicycle verse vehicle crash. The bicyclist was riding south on Sulphur Springs Rd at 34 MPH. The bicyclist was riding downhill, and going around a blind curve. A vehicle was attempting to turn into the driveway off the 2300 block of Sulphur Springs Rd. The bicyclist collided with the vehicle, and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by medics.
6/21/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Thursday, June 6, 2019 at about 2:54 pm, deputies were dispatched to NE Highway 20 and NE Granger Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Vehicles were towed from the scene and one driver was transported due to injuries.
6/21/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at about 12:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to NW Sulphur Springs Rd near the Saddle for a crash. Unit 1 crashed his vehicle into a tree while trying to avoid crashing into a deer. Based on a conversation with the driver deputies believe he maneuvered around the deer and lost control of the vehicle when driving across gravel. The driver and his four passengers had marks from their seatbelts.
6/21/19 – FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD.  On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, deputies spoke with a resident by phone who stated in mid-April he received two bills from Verizon totaling about $4,936.  Verizon informed him to report the incident to the Sheriff`s Office.
