Listed below are recent incidents responded to by the Benton County Sheriff's Office. This report does not reflect all Sheriff's Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allows.

THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On Saturday, January 9, 2021, at about 3:15pm, deputies were dispatched to a UEMV located on the 8600 block of NE Barberry Drive, Adair. Their vehicle was left unlocked the prior night and a diaper bag and first aid kit was missing that morning. No suspect identified.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Saturday, January 9, 2021 at approximately 10:00 A.M., Vehicle 3 was stopped in a line of cars westbound on Highway 34 near Peoria Road. Vehicle 2 was stopped behind vehicle 3. Vehicle 1 was westbound in the same lane and did not see that traffic was stopped at the light. Vehicle 1 crashed into the back of vehicle 2, pushing it into vehicle 3. The front seat passenger of vehicle 3 was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by private party. Vehicles 1 and 2 were towed from the scene.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; FAIL TO APPEAR 1 - On Saturday, January 9, 2021, at about 3:00 am, deputies observed a white Buick parked in the Bald Hill parking lot on Reservoir Avenue. They later arrested the driver, Alexander Michael Maybee, 25, of Corvallis, and passenger, Megan Reane Striplin, 25, of Albany, on multiple confirmed warrants. Maybee and Striplin were issued criminal citations and released on scene.
FAIL TO APPEAR 2 - On Friday, January 8, 2021, at about 10:45 pm, deputies stopped a blue Honda CRV for a traffic violation. They later arrested the driver, Neftali Arredondo Tejeda, 29, of Salem, on a confirmed warrant out of Marion County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear for Assault III, bail $5,000.00. Tejeda was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released on scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On January 8, 2021, at around 10:03 pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 34 Milepost 45. The driver said she lost control of her vehicle when she over-corrected after driving over the white fog line. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On Friday, January 8, 2021, at about 12:10 am, deputies stopped a pedestrian on Walnut Boulevard near Princess Street. He was standing in the middle of Walnut Boulevard trying to flag down passing cars to solicit a ride home. He was visibly intoxicated; deputies gave him a courtesy ride home.
VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT - On Friday, January 8, 2021 at around 6:10 PM, deputies arrested Bradley Damewood, 41, on the 4300 block of NE Holly Ln., Corvallis, OR. Damewood was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged for violating the confirmed no contact release agreement.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On Friday, January 8, 2021, at about 12:10 am, deputies stopped a pedestrian on Walnut Boulevard near Princess Street. He was standing in the middle of Walnut Boulevard trying to flag down passing cars to solicit a ride home. He was visibly intoxicated; deputies gave him a courtesy ride home
DWS MIS - On Thursday, January 7, 2021, at about 7:10 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a light colored BMW 540 for expired registration. They contacted the driver, Richard Lee Kintzley, 32, of Sweet Home, who was driving while suspended- misdemeanor. Deputies arrested Kintzley and issued him a criminal citation for DWS-misdemeanor
DUII - On January 5, 2021 at about 5:50 PM, deputies responded to the area of Highway 20 near Brumfield Lane for a single vehicle crash. Deputies subsequently arrested the driver of the vehicle, Lincoln Warfield, 31, of South Beach, for DUII. Warfield provided a BAC of .27% and was lodged at the Benton County jail
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at about 5:55 pm, deputies were dispatched to NW Hwy 99W and NW Lewisburg Ave for a motor vehicle crash. The driver was northbound on NW Hwy 99W, missed a driveway turning westbound, and drove into the ditch. She had no apparent injuries and the car appeared drivable after it was pulled from the ditch
DWS MIS - On January 5, 2021 at about 12:22 am, deputies stopped a white dodge pickup truck eastbound on HWY 20 from Blodgett for an unsignaled lane change. The registration was not able to be located. The driver was identified as Christian Daniel Wirth, 26, of Albany. Wirth stated he did not have a valid driver’s license as it was suspended. Wirth was issued a citation.
WARRANT ARREST - On 01/04/2021 at approximately 4:00 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Jackson Street and 8th Street in Corvallis. The driver was identifed as TImothy Cantrell, 45, of Albany, and the passenger was identified as Victor Sells, 47, of Corvallis. Cantrell was arrested for driving with a revoked license. Sells was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Both males were issued citations in lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 12/28/2020 at approximately 08:39 AM, deputies responded to a crash on Old River Road. Subsequent investigation determined two vehicles crashed on a shaded and heavily iced corner. No one was transported with serious injuries. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at about 11:15 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black Volkswagen Jetta on Philomath Boulevard near Technology Loop. The driver identified himself as Michael Joe Bowers, 53, of Newport. Dispatch advised Bowers had a State Parole Board Warrant for Kidnap1. Deputies arrested and transported Bowers to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 4:17 PM, deputies went to the 1100 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis and contacted and arrested DUSTY RISLAND, 33, of Corvallis, who had two confirmed warrants. RISLAND was cited in lieu of custody for his warrants at the request of the Benton County Jail. Warrant info: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA - Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine / Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, $10,000 Bail; and Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, No Bail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at about 4:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of SW 3rd Street and 3 Mile Lane for a single vehicle roll over crash. Vehicle #1 was driving north on south 3rd Street when it drove over standing water in the roadway. Vehicle #1 drove off the east side of the road into a ditch. A witness stated it looked like Vehicle #1 hydroplaned. The driver and three juvenile passengers were transported to the hospital for evaluation. The vehicle was towed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; RECKLESS DRIVING - On Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at about 12:48 A.M., deputies were patrolling the 3900 block of SW Brooklane Drive when they located a mailbox and trash cans that had been damaged by a vehicle. Deputies located the suspect vehicle near 4600 SW Nash Avenue. The driver, Janine Arthur, 41, admitted to crashing and driving away without contacting the homeowner. Janine was cited and released for Criminal Mischief 2, Reckless Driving and Fail to Perform the Duties of a Driver.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at about 2:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to a fraud on the 4000 block of SW Research Way, in Corvallis. The caller stated she contacted the Benton County Tax Office to verify statements made from a man she met on "Silver Singles". She stated the man claimed to own property and she needed to send $25,000.00 to help him. She said no money was transferred and she "found him out". She stated she already reported the account to the App Company.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, January 1, 2021 at 10:11 AM, a resident reported a harassment issue on the 3400 block of NW Highway 20. ANDREW LEGORE, 39, of Sweet Home, was cited and released for multiple warrants. Warrant info: Linn County Justice Court, Contempt of Court, $10,500 and Lebanon Municipal Court, Theft III, $10,000 Bail.
BURGLARY 2 BUSINESS; THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED - On Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2:51 PM, a resident reported approximately $20,000 worth of Snap-On brand automotive and unique/specialty aviation hand tools had been taken sometime over the past two months from his personal storage unit on the 500 block of SW Wake Robin Avenue in Corvallis.
IDENTITY THEFT - On Monday, January 4, 2021, at about 9:05 AM, deputies were dispatched to a fraud on the 23700 block of Gellatly Way, near Philomath. They called and spoke with a resident who stated his social security number was used in order to obtain unemployment. Deputies asked if any money had been taken and he said no. He said he received a letter from the State of Oregon and spoke to a representative. They have their own investigator looking into how his personal information was used and requested a police report was made. He had no further information and was provided a case number.
COMPUTER CRIME - On Monday, January 4, 2021, at about 11:10 AM, deputies were dispatched to a harassment on the 7400 block of NW Arboretum Road, near Corvallis. The caller stated she had sent someone intimate photos online. All the accounts used have been deleted and no further information that could lead to the person who owns the account is available.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, January 4, 2021, at about 4:20 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 8th St/Jackson Ave. They arrested Victor Sells, 47, a passenger in the car, for an Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Contempt of Court.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On December 23, 2020 Hass, Kristina, 31, turned herself in to the Benton County Jail on a warrant for FTA PCS Heroin, and FTA PCS Meth. Hass was given a new court date and time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, January 4, 2021 at about 12:45 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Harrison Blvd near 2nd St. for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised both the driver, TIMOTHY JAMES REED, 34, and the passenger, ANGELA MICHELLE GOETTSCH, 48, had warrants. REED was taken to the Benton County Jail and lodged on a Parole Violation Warrant and GOETTSCH was cited and released in the field on two warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, January 3, 2021 at about 6:00 PM, deputies contacted EDWIN LEE HARRIS, 27, in his vehicle on Marys Peak Road off Highway 34. Dispatch advised HARRIS had an outstanding Felony Warrant out of Klamath County. Deputies issued HARRIS a citation at the request of Klamath County in the field and he was cited and released.
UUV - On Sunday, January 3, 2021, at about 5:13pm, deputies were dispatched to a stolen vehicle located on the 7200 block of NW Council Tree Lane, Corvallis. A resident’s maroon 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup taken between December 21, 2020, and December 29, 2020, when he was out of the state. No suspect identified.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Sunday, January 3, 2021, at approximately 12:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding suspicious activity. The caller said he lives on the 8600 block of Barberry Drive, Adair and an older female who was the passenger in a newer Ford Expedition came up to his house asking to buy one of his vehicles, neither of which were for sale. He did not have a good description of the female or the vehicle. Deputies drove through Adair and could not locate the vehicle.
BURGLARY 2 - On 01/03/21 at approximately 10:56 AM, deputies investigated a Burglary on the 2000 block of SW Herbert in Corvallis. A building was broken into but no items have been reported missing. There are no suspects at this time.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On 01/01/21 at approximately 2:52 PM, deputies contacted an adult male regarding a theft from his vehicle. Approximately 3 weeks ago a pistol, tablet and set of keys were stolen from inside his vehicle while parked in Corvallis. No suspect information at this time.
SEARCH AND RESCUE NOT MISSING - On December 31, 2020 at approximately 4:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of Woods Creek Rd near Tum Tum Rd for lost hikers. A caller reported herself and another had lost their way back to their cars. Deputies located the two about a half mile behind the US Forest Service gate at the end of Woods Creek Rd. Deputies gave them a ride back to their vehicles, which were parked at Conners Camp/East Ridge Trailhead on Mary’s Peak Rd.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; DUII – DRUGS; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - On December 29, 2020 at approximately 6:00 PM, Brittain DONALDSON, 30, deputies located and attempted to stop DONALDSON on 53rd St near Cherry Ave. DONALDSON failed to yield to their emergency lights and siren. DONALDSON passed multiple vehicles, ran stoplights, and at one point, almost hit deputies head-on. DONALDSON was eventually stopped on 53rd St near Willow Ave. DONALDSON later told deputies he was running from law enforcement because he was afraid they were trying to kill him. DONALDSON also admitted to using methamphetamine the previous day. Deputies arrested Brittain DONALDSON for Elude, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Criminal Mischief II, and Possession of Methamphetamine, and DUII. DONALDSON`s blood alcohol content was 0.00%. Deputies conducted a Drug Influence Evaluation on DONALDSON and determined he was under the influence of a Central Nervous System Stimulant.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, December 28, 2020, at about 3:50 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Fern Road, south of Powder House Road, near Philomath. They arrived to find Car 1 on its top on the west side of the road. Car 1 was traveling south on Fern road and was negotiating a left hand corner. Car 1 had hit a patch of ice in the middle of the corner causing Car 1 to loose traction and begin spinning. Car 1 hit the gravel ditch and rolled one or two times. No injuries were sustained and Car 1 was towed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On 12/27/2020 at approximately 3:31 PM, deputies responded to a criminal mischief call on Highland Drive. Someone used spray paint to vandalize a political sign. There is no suspect information. The DOJ has been notified of this incident.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On December 23, 2020, Scott, Jessie, 31, turned himself into the jail on a confirmed warrant for FTA - Theft 3. Mr. Scott was given a new date and time to appear in court.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 2 FROM BUILDING; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On Friday, January 1, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of SW Herbert Avenue for a Burglary. They arrived and spoke with the resident who said an unknown person broke into his barn. He said a table saw sawhorse and a trail camera were stolen. No suspect information
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at about 9:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 22200 block of Harris Road for a suspicious circumstance. The resident stated someone was pounding on the side of a sheet metal barn. Deputies arrived and searched in and around the barn and saw no signs of mischief and no fresh footprints or tire tracks. The resident gave deputies two lightbulbs that she stated had microphones in them and were found in her room. Deputies investigated the lightbulbs and learned they did not have microphones. The lightbulbs were destroyed during the investigation process.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 4:09 PM, deputies stopped a silver BMW sedan near 3rd Street and Twin Oaks Circle in Corvallis for a traffic violation. The passenger was identified as DIANNA FALCON, 38, and arrested on multiple warrants after she walked away from the vehicle. FALCON was cited and released for her warrants at the request of the Linn and Benton County Jails. WARRANT info: Benton County Circuit Court, Theft II, No Bail; Linn County Circuit Court, FTA - PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail; and Linn County Circuit Court, FTA - PCS Methamphetamine / FTA - DUII / FTA - Criminal Citation (X3), No Bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:12 PM, deputies contacted and arrested STEEN SKINNER, 30, for a confirmed misdemeanor warrant on the 1100 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. SKINNER was cited and released with a court date in lieu of custody at the request of the Benton County Jail: Warrant info: Benton County Circuit Court, Escape III, No Bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:15 AM, deputies contacted NATHAN BROWN, 45, who was a passenger in a white Toyota Prius parked on the 1900 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. Deputies cited and released NATHAN BROWN on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant for his arrest: Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, No Bail.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 12/30/20, AT APPROXIMATELY 5:30 PM, JAIL DEPUTIES CITED MADARUS, WILLARD, 62, FOR TWO CONFIRMED WARRANTS OUT OF LINN CO, FTA PCS METH/DWS, AND FTA DWS. THERE WAS ALSO A WARRANT OUT OF PHILOMATH MUNI FOR FTC DWS.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, deputies were dispatched to a Burglary on the 1200 block of Scenic Drive NW. They arrived and spoke with a resident who reported about $1950 worth of tools had been stolen, and at least $300 worth of damage to the home he is building.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On the morning of December 28, 2020, a Benton County Sheriff`s Office Deputy was on patrol and in route to an injury traffic crash on West Ingram Island Road near Dodge Island Road in Monroe. While in route, the Deputy crashed his patrol vehicle into a ditch and fence of Highway 99W at the 24700 block of Highway 99W. The Deputy was not injured and was able to drive the vehicle from the scene. Deputies notified the property owner about the crash and damage and forwarded on the required insurance information for BCSO.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On December 29, 2020 at about 11:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of 53rd and Bellfountain for a report of multiple gunshots. Deputies followed the sound of gunfire to the 25200 block of SW Airport Ave where they contacted four people shooting guns in the front yard. Deputies warned them about Disorderly Conduct II and explained they needed to choose a better time of day for target practice.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 12/29/20 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:45 PM, DEPUTIES RECEIVED A CALL FROM A DETECTIVE OUT OF MEDFOR PD. HE ADVISED THAT A MATERIAL WITNESS WARRANT HAD JUST BEEN ENTERED ON FISHER, COLTON, 24, AND IT NEEDED TO BE SERVED ON HIM. DEPUTIES CONFIRMED THE WARRANT AND THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON FISHER WHO WAS LOCATED AT THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL, 190 NW 4TH ST, CORVALLIS.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, December 28, 2020, around 12:15 A.M., Adrien Zavala Barclay, 25, was arrested on a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for Contempt of Court. Adrien was issued a criminal citation.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, December 28, 2020, at about 7:35 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Dawson Road near milepost 6, west of Monroe. They arrived to find Car 1 laying on the driver side of the car. Car 1 had been driving west on Dawson Road before the car hit a patch of ice. Car 1 slid across the east lane onto the gravel shoulder. As Car 1 slowed, it appeared to have dug into the gravel causing it to overturn. The driver was taken out through the car windshield, which was removed by Monroe Fire Department. The driver declined any medical attention and the car was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday December 27, 2020 at about 6:30 PM, I stopped a car for a traffic violation on Monroe Ave. for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, JULIE ANN CONNELL, 40, had two outstanding warrants, one of which was a State Parole Board Warrant. Deputies arrested CONNELL and transported her to the Linn County Jail where she was lodged.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII; MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR - On December 27, 2020 at about 10:10 p.m., deputies arrested Cody Lamar Baker, 19, for DUII and Reckless Endangering x4. His four passengers, ages 14, 14, 14 and 15, were cited for MIP and released to an adult.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday December 26, 2020 at about 8:05 PM, deputies stopped a car on Highway 20 near milepost #34 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, PATRICK JONATHAN DUREN, 46, had an outstanding warrant out of Lincoln County Circuit Court. DUREN was cited and released in the field.
THEFT 1; FORGERY 1; IDENTITY THEFT; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 1 - On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at about 10:00 AM, deputies were assisting Newport Police Department by searching for a suspect in a robbery and domestic assault that occurred earlier in the morning. They initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle Colby Benson, 36, was described driving. Deputies issued Colby criminal citations for Prohibited Acts, Identity Theft x3, Forgery 1, and Attempt Theft 1. Colby was transported to the Benton County Jail by Newport Police Department.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, December 27, 2020, at about 11:10 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 near Old Blodgett Road, west of Blodgett. Both drivers were uninjured and had called their own tows. Deputies provided both parties a case number and answered any additional questions.
DWS MIS - On Friday, December 25, 2020 at 12:35 PM, deputies stopped a black and white Ford Econoline van near NE Conifer Boulevard and NE Dorchester Way in Corvallis for a traffic violation. The driver, SAMUEL MONROE JR, 43, was cited in lieu of custody for the traffic crime of Driving While Suspended.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON DECEMBER 27, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:24 PM, JAIL DEPUTIES CITED HANSEN, RYLIE, 28, FOR 3 WARRANTS: BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT BURGLARY II X2, NO BAIL; FAIL TO APPEAR THEFT 1, NO BAIL; AND FAIL TO APPEAR ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A CLASS A FELONY BURGLARY 1, THEFT II, NO BAIL.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON DECEMBER 27, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:24 PM, JAIL DEPUTIES CITED CHITTIM, ROBERT, 40, FOR CONFIRMED WARRANTS FOR BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT BURGLARY 1, NO BAIL AND FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, NO BAIL. AN ADDITIONAL WARRANT FOR CORVALLIS MUNICIPAL COURT FTA VIOLENT CONDUCT, BAIL 5000- 00 WAS LOCATED. CHITTIM WAS GIVEN A RELEASE AGREEMENT AND RELEASED.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 25, 2020, deputies saw a white 1968 Ford Galaxy commit multiple traffic violations on Philomath Boulevard near SW 15th Street (fail to signal, improper left turn). They were able to catch up to the vehicle and stop it in an alley by SW Washington and SW 6th Street. The driver, Wendell Shawn Stevens, 53, had three confirmed warrants (Linn County for FTA PCS Meth, Linn County Parole for a Larceny Violation, and Albany Municipal Court for Theft II) for his arrest. While searching Stevens, he informed deputies he had a needle in his sock. Deputies removed the needle and later disposed of it into a sharps container at the Sheriff`s Office. Deputies then transported Stevens to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged. Stevens was issued a citation with court date and time for the Albany Municipal Warrant.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 12/25/2020, deputies responded to a non-injury crash on Fern Rd. The single occupant in the vehicle was an adult female. The female lost control while driving and rolled several times. She was not injured and the vehicle was towed due to heavy damage.
FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED; DWS MIS - On Tuesday, December 26, 2020, at about 11:05pm, deputies were on patrol in the area of NW Walnut Blvd and NW 29th Street, Corvallis, and initiated a traffic stop on a black 1998 Ford EC2 van for Failing to Drive within Lane and Violation of Basic Speed Rule, 48 mph in a 35mph zone. Samuel Armstrong Monroe Jr, 43, was cited and released on scene for DWS Misd. and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.
THEFT 2; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On December 20, 2020 at about 11:30 p.m., deputies I did a traffic stop at NW Van Buren Ave and NW Kings Blvd. They contacted Parker Mowdy, 24, and Kaitlyn Tibbs, 24. Kaitlyn had thirteen confirmed warrants out of Linn County. After a consent search, Katilyn Tibbs was charged with PCS of a Schedule III substance and Theft by Receiving. Parker was issued citations for PCS Methamphetamines and Theft by Receiving. They were both cited and released.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On December 27, 2020, at 2:40 AM, deputies responded to the 200 block of W Main Street in Alsea for a suspicious person complaint. The caller reported seeing someone shine lights in her windows. Upon arrival, they checked the area and did not locate anyone.
WARRANT ARREST - On December 26, 2020, at 11:52 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on NW Independence Highway near NW Ryals Avenue for speeding. The back seat passenger David Michael Clarke, 62, had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court, no bail. Clarke was issued a new court date.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Saturday, December 26, 2020, at approximately 1:05 P.M., vehicle 1, was driving east on Maxfield Creek Road near Pit Road when she drove through moss near the shoulder, lost control, and fell over. The driver was injured in the crash and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 25, 2020, at about 10:10 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Ford Ranger for expired registration on Highway 34 near milepost 1. They contacted the driver and identified her as Angela Ellen Sanchez, 45, who had a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Justice Court. Deputies issued Sanchez a criminal citation and released her due to the COVID-19 crisis.
DWS MIS - On Friday, December 25, 2020, at about 9:35 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black Mercury Mountaineer for failing to signal a lane change on Highway 20 near Highway 223. Deputies contacted the driver, George Guitierrez Ortiz, 43, and he had advised his driver’s license was suspended-misdemeanor. Deputies confirmed the suspension, arrested Ortiz, and issued him a criminal citation for Driving while suspended-misdemeanor.
WARRANT ARREST - On December 25, 2020, at 2:14 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW Highway 99W in Corvallis for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival deputies contacted Daniel Mullins, 50, who was standing outside his vehicle. Mullins had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court for FTA, Delivery of Methamphetamine, No Bail. Mullins was issued a new court date and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 12/24/2020 at around 9:30 PM, deputies responded to the 24500 block of McCain Rd, Monroe, to investigate a criminal matter. Deputies spoke with Colin Reeves, 25, at this location. Reeves had a confirmed Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-Interfere with a Peace Officer, Bail $3000.00. Deputies issued Reeves a citation for the warrant and released him at the location.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 24, 2020 at approximately 12:07 PM, deputies contacted and arrested ELIJAH WILLIAMS, 37, and SARAH DAVIS, 26, who each had multiple warrants for their arrest. The two were located on the 900 block of NW Garfield Avenue in Corvallis. Deputies cited and released WILLIAMS for his three confirmed warrants at the request of the Benton County Jail. DAVIS was transported to and lodged at the Linn County Jail on her six confirmed warrants. DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at about 3:49pm, deputies were dispatched to North Albany Park located at 2800 Hillcrest St NW, Albany, regarding a juvenile complaint. A resident reported there were kids hiding behind trees and shooting airsoft rifles at each other that did not have orange tips, close to the play structure, and close to people, including his family, in the park. Deputies made contact with the group and educated them on safety regarding their activity being around young children in the park, and the perception dangers of having non-orange tipped air rifles in a public park. They stated the group’s activity is for fun and does not intend to harm or alarm anyone in the park.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE IMPERSONATION; DWS FEL; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; WARRANT ARREST - On December 23, 2020, deputies arrested CORY DALE CVITANOVIC, 36, on three outstanding Marion County felony caution warrants, and on local charges relating to false info after a traffic stop on the Highway 20/34 Bypass near Highway 34. He was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Monday, December 21, 2020, at about 10:05 AM, deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief call on the 5000 block of NE Elliot Circle, Corvallis. A resident reported four of her tires were slashed. She said it cost her $700.00 for tires and labor. She also said the incident was random and she had no idea who the guy could have been or why it happened.
BURGLARY 2; POSS STOLEN VEHICLE; THEFT 1; UUV - On 12/18/2020 at around 8:30 PM, deputies spoke with a woman about someone taking her Kawasaki 450R ATV from a garage on the 24500 block of Nichols Road, Monroe, sometime in the past 2 days. Her brother located the ATV and retook possession of the ATV on 12/23/2020 at the residence of Colin Reeves, 25, on the 24500 block of McCain Road, Monroe, in a barn under some hay. On 12/24/2020 at 9:50 PM, deputies arrested Colin Reeves at that location for Burglary II, Theft I, UUMV and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Reeves was cited and released with a criminal citation.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at about 5:00 P.M., deputies arrested David Howard Cook, 55, for multiple felony warrants and previous delivery of Methamphetamine crimes. Cook was located in a tent about 10 feet off the public bike path next to the public baseball fields in a public park. Deputies transported Cook to the Sheriff`s Office while waiting for the jail to open and later escorted Cook to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 12/23/20, JOSHUA MCCASLIN, 42, HAD A WARRANT OUT OF SALEM MUNI FOR FTA TRESP. THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL RELEASED MCCASLIN WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at about 9:00 P.M., deputies were speaking with houseless persons camping on a grassy area west of the 4th street onramp to Philomath Boulevard. They contacted Chase Michael Evan Kuske, 29, outside of a tent. Kuske had a confirmed warrant out of Linn County for Parole Violation. Deputies arrested Kuske and transported him to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged. Warrant info: Linn County Sheriff`s Office, PV- Fail to Register, No Bail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on NW Concord Drive near NW Worden Circle. They arrived and saw a white Kenworth dump truck on its driver’s side on the East side of the road. The driver said he lost his breaks coming down the hill. He estimated at one point traveling about 70 miles per hour before losing control of the truck and crashing. He was not injured and the truck owner was using her company equipment to remove the truck.
ACCIDENT NO INJ - On Monday December 21, 2020 at about 5:25 PM, deputies drove up to a Motor Vehicle Crash that had just occurred on Highway 34 at milepost #46. There were two vehicles involved and no injuries. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION - On Monday, December 21, 2020, at about 7:45pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on SW 3rd Street and SE Rivergreen Ave on a black Chrysler LHS for Expired Registration. The driver, Brandon Allen Hopkins, 43, who was DWS violation, had a confirmed warrant. Allen and his passenger, Catherine Dee Silva, 32, were also cited for PCS meth and released on scene.

FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On Dec. 17, 2020 at approximately 10:18 am, jail deputies discovered a warrant for DEANE, Rhonda, 44. A valid warrant issued by Linn County Circuit Court was confirmed for PV PCS Meth no bail. Linn County Jail provided a new court date. DEANE was released after having signed a release agreement, which was forwarded to Linn County Circuit Court.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 12/16/20, MISKIE, TAYLOR, 29, HAD A WARRANT FOR FTA CRIM TRESP 2, OUT OF CORVALLIS MUNICIPAL COURT. JAIL DEPUTIES SERVED THE WARRANT ON MISKIE WHO WAS LOCATED AT THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL, 190 NW 4TH STREET IN CORVALLIS.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On December 18, 2020 at approximately 5:00PM, deputies responded to the 5000 block of NE Elliott Cir, Corvallis, for a vandalism report. The resident said she noticed UNKNOWN suspects had pulled open her screen-door, threw a dog statue and a water bottle on the porch, and left mud on the porch and front door. She also said she found pry marks on her vehicle door but it did not appear anyone had gotten into the vehicle. She estimated the damage to her vehicle as $500. She said she did not know of anyone who would do this to her property.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, December 21, 2020, at about 3:42pm, deputies were westbound on NW Harrison Blvd when they saw two vehicles sideways in the road on NW Van Buren Ave just east of the Van Buren bridge. Unit one, a 1996 Chevy C1500, was facing west in between NW Harrison Blvd and NW Van Buren Ave. The driver attempted to turn his pickup onto NW Van Buren Ave when his pickup collided with unit 2, a 2003 Honda Accord. There were no injuries and both vehicles drove away from the scene.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Sunday, December 20, 2020, at 4:20 p.m., deputies spoke with a landowner on the 25300 block Water Ln, Monroe. He had just inherited the property from his father and is in the process of selling it. He was told by the neighbors there are people staying at the location that are not supposed to be there, and lots of short stay traffic. He requested extra patrol as time allows.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Sunday, December 20, 2020, at about 2:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to the Adair Fire Station for a suspicious vehicle. They arrived and found a red Ford Ranger Oregon parked in a way the fire apparatus would not be able to leave. The Ranger was also parked so fire apparatus would not be able to re-fuel. Deputies attempted contact with the last known person who drove the car via phone and contact at their residence. Both passenger side tires were slashed and the truck was towed due to being a hazard if the fire department had to respond.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 8:20 p.m., deputies responded to Hwy 99w at MP 98 for a single vehicle crash. Vehicle #1 hydroplaned and went off the roadway causing damage to a fence. There was only the driver in the vehicle and she was not injured. The vehicle was towed.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On December 19, 2020, at around 6:52pm, deputies were dispatched to the 25700 block of Bellfountain Road for a report of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. A juvenile reported hearing his family`s pickup truck door close, and then seeing an unidentified man running away. No damage or stolen items was reported.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On December 19, 2020, at around 5:52pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Alpine Road Milepost 2. The driver said she drove into the ditch along Alpine Road as she was turning west from Kyle Road. Her vehicle was undamaged and it was pulled from the ditch.
DWS MIS - On Saturday, December 19, 2020, at about 5:35 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop at North Albany Road near Highway 20. They contacted the driver, Oliva Beth Deleon, 36, and learned she was with a suspended license-misdemeanor. Deputies arrested Deleon and issued her a criminal citation for the above mentioned crime before releasing her at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 19, 2020 at approximately 10:18 AM, deputies cited and released MICKI ENGLENT, 36, for multiple confirmed warrants after they saw her walking on 6th Street near Jefferson Avenue in Corvallis. ENGLENT was given criminal citations with court dates in lieu of custody. WARRANT info: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Burglary II & Theft II, No Bail and Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Theft III, No Bail.
BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Saturday, December 19, 2020 at approximately 9:23 AM, a resident reported an unknown individual(s) entered the shop on his property on the 2000 block of SW Allen Street in Corvallis, sometime between 5:00 PM on Friday, December 18 and 9:00 AM that morning. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing appeared to be missing.
ASSAULT 4 - On December 18, 2020, at around 4:25pm, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Jail for a reported assault. In inmate reported he was punched multiple times in the face by George Spencer, 58, another inmate. Spencer was arrested for Assault 4.
IDENTITY THEFT - On Friday, December 18, 2020, deputies were dispatched to contact a victim concerning Identity Theft. The man told deputies on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, his employer notified him someone used his personal information to apply for unemployment benefits. He said he spoke with the unemployment office and told them the application was fraudulent. The unemployment office suggested he report the incident. He said he had no suspect information and would call back with any new information.
WARRANT ARREST - On December 17, 2020, at around 9:58pm, deputies were on foot patrol near Pioneer Park, Corvallis. Dispatch informed James Baker III, 21, had a warrant from Lebanon Municipal Court for Failure to Appear - Theft III. Baker was issued a criminal citation for Failure to Appear - Theft III.
DUII - On Thursday, December 17, 2020, at about 7:40 pm, deputies were dispatched to single vehicle crash on Chapel Drive near Bellfountain Road. They arrived and later arrested the driver, Nicholas Alexander Hidde, 22, for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Deputies issued Hidde a criminal citation and released him to a family member at his residence.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On December 17, 2020, at around 7:59pm, deputies were dispatched to SW Airport Avenue Milepost 2 for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The occupant of the brown 1980 Chevrolet Blazer told deputies he was okay and was planning on moving along shortly.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 12/17/20 at 4:44 PM, deputies were parked on the side on Highway 34 just west of Peoria Road. Vehicle #1 was traveling east bound on Highway 34 in the right hand lane approaching Peoria Road. Vehicle #2 was in front of vehicle #1, traveling around 5 MPH, in the process of stopping for the red light at the intersection. Vehicle #1 ran into the back of vehicle #2. This incident happened next to where deputies were parked. Vehicle #1 was towed due to the damage from the crash. Neither driver said they were injured from the crash at that time.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Thursday, December 17, 2020 at about 3:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of Broooklane Drive for a white van that was reported to be suspicious. The van, a white colored Toyota Sienna, was located parked adjacent to a sidewalk. The driver was told if he wanted to park and be away from other people, he should consider doing that in parking lots, not in neighborhoods.
DWS MIS - On Thursday, December 17, 2020 at approximately 12:10 PM, deputies stopped a blue and gray 1988 Ford F150 pickup on 35th Street near Campus Way in Corvallis for a traffic violation. The passenger walked away after the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of the Environmental Protection Agency. The driver, KENNETH SMALLEY, 40, was cited and released for Driving While Suspended – Misdemeanor.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 17, 2020, deputies were in the area of the Corvallis BMX track on Chapman Place and located Darrell Lee Hounchell, 47, who had three confirmed warrants for his arrest. Hounchell was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged. Hounchell was cited for Unlawful possession of Methamphetamine with court date and time to appear in Benton County.
DELIVER METH; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; WARRANT ARREST; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE - On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at about 11:15 P.M. I initiated a traffic stop on a dark colored Ford Ranger for improper display or Alteration of plates at 407 NW 2nd Street in Corvallis. Deputies contacted and arrested the driver, Joseph Dean Wiseman, 36, for three confirmed warrant and other crimes. Wiseman was lodged at the Linn County Jail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, December 14, 2020 at about 6:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 34, near milepost 29 for a vehicle crash. The driver of Vehicle #1 stated she was driving east on Highway 34 near milepost 29 when she looked back to check on her daughter, then crashed into a ditch. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was parked off the side of the road with its hazard lights on.
ASSAULT 2; BURGLARY 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON - AGG ASLT; MENACING - AGG ASLT – On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at about 5:20pm, deputies were dispatched to the 14000 block of Lobster Valley Road, Alsea, for an assault. Deputies made contact with Anthony Howard Lund, 50, who broke into a residence with a baseball bat and an axe, and attacked a resident known to him. Anthony was arrested for Assault II, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Burglary I, Criminal Mischief II, and Criminal Trespass I.
POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 2; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; TAMPER WITH DRUG RECORDS; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 4 - On Tuesday, December 15th, 2020, 7:25 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of 450 SW 3rd St, Corvallis. Amy Ankarberg, 33, was arrested on multiple drug charges, and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 2 - On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at about 4:17pm, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of NW Lewisburg Ave, Corvallis, regarding a burglary. The resident had a metal Conex box type storage container on his property that was dummy locked. He believed sometime in the last two weeks someone stole two Mile Marker winches, one 10" Pioneer Subwoofer, two empty black and yellow storage totes, and one red Craftsman portable two-drawer toolbox with misc. Craftsman tools. Total value of stolen items, $735. No suspect identified.
THEFT 2 FROM BUILDING - On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at about 12:15 PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of NE Pettibone Drive and NW Todd Drive, north of Corvallis. The resident reported a theft of two longboards with a total value of $500.00 dollars.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, December 14, 2020, at about 11:08pm, deputies responded to the 7400 block of NE Pettibone Drive, Corvallis, regarding a suspicious person. They made contact with Gene Anthony Carnes, 20, who had two confirmed warrants out of Lebanon Municipal Court, one confirmed warrant out of Linn County Justice Court, and four confirmed warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court. Carnes was cited and released on site.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; DUII; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; RECKLESS DRIVING - On Monday, December 14, 2020, at 7:53 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of 5041 NW Highland Dr., Corvallis, for a report of a hit and run. The driver, John Bickell, 20, was arrested for DUII, Hit and Run, Reckless Driving, and Criminal Mischief II.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Monday, December 14, 2020, at about 12:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash at Highway 99W and Tampico Road, near Adair. They arrived at the hospital to speak with the driver, who had crashed his 1991 Jeep Cherokee at about 8:00 AM that morning. The hospital informed deputies Methamphetamine had been positive in his urine sample he provided to the hospital. During their investigation they saw no signs of impairment were present. The Jeep was located at Tampico Road near MP 5. The Jeep was off the roadway and the driver called for his own tow.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On 12/13/2020 at around 5:50 PM, deputies arrived at the 700 gate on Sulphur Springs Road to assist a man with getting his car out of behind the locked OSU gate. He said he drove through the open gate on 12/11/2020, when he came out later that day the gate was closed and locked. He was warned about trespassing with his vehicle behind gates on OSU property.
DUII - On December 12, 2020 at about 11:10 p.m., deputies responded to a crash in the front yard of 23800 block of Highway 99W. Brandon ray Fox, 38, was arrested for DUII. He provided a breath sample of .10% BAC. He was released to a sober friend after being cited for DUII.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at about 10:02 am, deputies were patrolling the Klickitat Road. Near milepost three they observed a silver Dodge pickup had crashed. The pickup appeared to be ready to roll down a very steep embankment. The pickup was unoccupied and towed from the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On December 14, 2020 at about 6:00 am, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on Fern Rd just south of SW Airport Ave. The driver was traveling southbound on Fern Rd at approximately 65 mph. He realized his turn was coming up and locked up his breaks. He said he skidded into the east ditch where he crashed into the embankment. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to damages.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE - On Sunday, December 13, 2020, at about 2:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft on Prairie Mountain near North of the Horton store, on an unknown road, possibly off the NF15-7-17 road, in Lane County. Deputies spoke with a man who stated his pistol was stolen from his truck.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, December 13, 2020, at about 11:40 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 near Scenic Drive, west of Albany. They arrived to find both vehicles off the roadway on Highway 20. Car 1 was able to drive away under its own power. Car 2 was towed. No injuries were sustained.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER PROPERTY DAMAGE; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, December 13, 2020, at about 10:30, deputies were dispatched to the 8700 block of NE Box Elder Street in Adair for a Hit and Run. The vehicle owner said her car was parked from 9:30 AM that morning to 10:30 AM. She had no suspect information and there were no security cameras in the area.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT; WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at approximately 8:23 AM, deputies went to the 400 block of NW 2nd St, Corvallis and arrested a subject with multiple warrants named SHANE BOSTON, 45. Deputies transported BOSTON to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged on his warrants. WARRANT info: Linn County Circuit Court, FTA - PCS Methamphetamine, no bail and Oregon State Parole Board, PV – Larceny, no bail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On December 15, 2020, at about 11:10 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of NE Granger Avenue for a possible Unlawful Entry to a Motor Vehicle. Upon arrival, they spoke with the resident who said someone broke the front driver’s side window of her 2006 Ford Taurus that was parked in her driveway on her property. She believed it occurred sometime before 10 a.m. that morning when she found it, and likely after 8:30 a.m. when her husband left for work and did not notice it. No suspect information at this time.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON DECEMBER 14, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:56 PM, STEPHEN JR., JAMES DARRYL, 38, TURNED HIMSELF IN TO THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL FOR THREE WARRANTS. WARRANT INFO. THE FIRST WARRANT WAS OUT OF CORVALLIS MUNICIPAL COURT WARRANT FOR CRIMINALLY VIOLENT CONDUCT WITH A BAIL OF 5000-00. THE NEXT WARRANT WAS LEBANON JUSTICE COURT WARRANT FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR IN THE SECOND DEGREE, BAIL 7500-00. THE LAST WARRANT WAS ALBANY MUNICIPAL COURT WARRANT FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT II, BAIL 2620-00. STEPHEN WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH NEW COURT DATES.
THEFT 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Monday, December 14, 2020, at about 8:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a theft on the 6400 block of SW Reservoir Road, near Philomath. The resident reported that ten sections of her Christmas tube lights were stolen. She had no cameras in the area and have no suspect information. She said the light sections cost about $25.00 dollars per section. No suspect information at this time.
DUII DRUGS - On Monday, December 14, 2020, around 12:05 A.M., Bryan Oleman, 38, was arrested for DUII Drugs at Highway 20 and Highway 180. Criminal citation issued.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, December 14, 2020 at about 7:10 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 and Circle Blvd. for an injury crash. Driver 1 was traveling west on Highway 20 near Circle Blvd in his 1996 Ford Taurus. Driver 2 was on Highway 20 turning onto Circle Blvd in his 2001 Dodge pickup. Driver 2 failed to yield for oncoming traffic and sideswiped Driver 1, as he was turning onto Circle Blvd. No injuries reported.
WARRANT ARREST - On 12/13/2020 at approximately 2:44 PM, deputies located Jimmie Barton, 47, and Kathrin Bly, 49, on the 23800 block of Maxfield Creek Rd. Both Barton and Bly were wanted. Deputies issued Bly citations in lieu of custody. Barton was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 12/12/2020 at approximately 3:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Ervin Rd. for a suspicious circumstance. They investigated a small hole in the side of the residence, consistent with a bullet hole. Deputies were unable to recover a projectile. No further investigative leads.
PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT; FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 6:57 AM, Deputies went to the Pioneer Park "Campground" in Corvallis to attempt to locate a subject with felony warrants. Deputies ended up locating and arresting a different subject with confirmed misdemeanor and felony warrants identified as DONALD JEFFERS, 56. Deputies transported JEFFERS to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged for Benton County Circuit Court Warrant, FTA Assault IV / Strangulation, $30,000 Bail and Oregon State Parole Board Warrant, PV Intimidation / Stalking, No Bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at approximately 11:21 PM, deputies located ROBERT DAY, 27, on the 9700 block of NW Springhill Drive. Day had a confirmed misdemeanor warrant for his arrest for Albany Municipal Court, FTA Theft III, $1,370 Bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On 12/12/2020 at approximately 9:42 AM, deputies stopped a Ford pickup in downtown Corvallis for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Andrew Windom, 46, on an outstanding warrant. Windom was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On 12/12/2020 at approximately 9:30 AM, deputies arrested Jeremy Kosydar, 38, on the 1300 block of 6th St/D Ave, Corvallis, for several outstanding warrants. Kosydar was lodged at the Benton County Jail Facility.
WARRANT ARREST - On December 12, 2020, at 5:45 AM, deputies contacted Jedidiah Tate, 39, on Monroe Avenue near 4th Street in Corvallis. Tate had a confirmed warrant out of Marion County Circuit Court for Assault IV DV, No Bail. Deputies transported Tate to the Benton County Jail. Tate was cited and released on the warrant from the jail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 RESULT CRIMINAL - On 12/12/2020 at approximately 3:18 hours, Dylan Jokinen, 21, punched a Sheriff Deputy’s patrol car parked outside the Sheriff`s Office in downtown Corvallis. Jokinen was arrested for Criminal Mischief III and issued a citation in lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, December 11, 2020, at about 4:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Highway 99W near milepost 78. They arrived and observed a white Surbaru Crosstrek 358JHX and a White Ford Mustang 328MML in the ditch on the east side of the road. Before the Mustang came to rest it collided with a power pole, sheering it off at the base. The driver of the Mustang stated he was travelling on 99W south when he lost control of the Ford due to hydroplaning and crashed into the driver side of the Subaru. The driver of the Subaru stated she was travelling north on 99W when the Ford struck her, despite her best efforts to avoid the collision. Neither driver was injured and both vehicles were towed due to the damage.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, December 11, 2020, at about 11:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to Mt. View Drive near Lewisburg Avenue for a single vehicle crash. They arrived and observed a 2000 Toyota 4Runner crashed in the ditch on the west side of the roadway. The driver stated he swerved to miss a deer and lost control before destroying the mailbox for a residence located on the 6000 block of Mt. View Drive and crashing into the ditch. No injuries reported.
FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE - On December 12, 2020 at about 1:39 a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a 2011 GMC Acadia on Highway 99W near Circle Blvd for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. The driver, Sandra Secilia Sanchez, 20, was issued a citation for Failure to Carry and Present.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 11, 2020, at about 11:20 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a gray Chevy Malibu on Peoria Road near Highway 34. The driver, Heather Leann Johnson, 32, had a confirmed warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Criminal trespass. Deputies issued Johnson a criminal citation for the warrant due to COVID-19 and released her at the scene.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON DECEMBER 11, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 0851 AM, STROBEL, NICHOLE, 20 TURNED HERSELF IN TO THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL FRONT LOBBY ON A BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT WARRANT FOR DUII, BAIL 6000-00. STROBEL WAS ISSUED A NEW COURT DATE AND RELEASED.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON DECEMBER 11, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:00 PM, JAIL DEPUTIES ISSUED GOMEZ, LUIS, 37, A NEW COURT DATE FOR 2 LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT WARRANTS. WARRANT INFO: ROBBERY III - DV, HARASSMENT, AND RESISTING ARREST, BAIL 00-00; AND PCS HEROIN, PCS METH, BAIL 00-00.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On 12/10/2020 at around 1:45 PM, deputies spoke with a woman about someone entering her vehicle and taking $60.00 in cash and 2 prescription pill bottles with a generic version of Adderall worth $240.00. Her vehicle was parked downtown Monroe, where she is employed. She said this happened between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. She was unsure if her vehicle was locked; there was no sign of forced entry. There is no video or suspect information at this time.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On December 10, 2020, at around 10:20pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle crash near Highway 99W milepost 77. The driver was south on Highway 99W when he lost control of his 1990 Subaru Legacy and crashed off the roadway. He said he was not injured. The Subaru was towed from the scene.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Friday, December 11, 2020 at approximately 6:15 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 3200 Southview Drive, Albany, for a suspicious vehicle. While en route to the location, dispatch said the vehicle matched the description and license plate for a vehicle that has been involved in burglaries and thefts in Benton County. The vehicle was a white, 1999 Toyota pickup. The person reporting said there were two males and a female with the vehicle and they told him they were there to meet a friend but would not say who that was. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle when we arrived.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Thursday, December 10, 2020, at about 9:25 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief at the 23800 block of Ervin Road. Alicia McClain, 33, was arrested for reportedly breaking out the back passenger window out of a resident’s vehicle with a five-gallon container full of bar oil. McClain was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Mischief II.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - On Thursday, December 10 2020, detectives were in the area of 1100 NW 9th St, Corvallis, OR 97330, when they spoke with Harry Darrow, 67, and Sophia Brewer, 23. Both were arrested for warrants and Harry was cited for possession of Methamphetamine.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at about 4:55 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Hwy 34 near MP 32, west of Alsea. They arrived to find a 2018 Honda SUV in a deep ditch, unable to drive out. The driver said she hit a patch of gravel and was unable to steer away from the ditch. The Honda was able to be towed out of the ditch. There was little to no damage to the Honda and it was able to drive away under its own power.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:55 AM, deputies responded to Crescent Valley Drive near Mile Post 1 for a single vehicle rollover crash. Vehicle #1, a white Subaru Legacy wagon, was headed eastbound on Crescent Valley Drive when it lost traction on a patch of ice while negotiating a left hand curve at a reported approximate speed of 25 MPH. Vehicle #1 left the north side of the roadway and rolled once, coming to rest upright on its wheels. There were no observed or reported injuries to the driver or his three young passengers. Vehicle #1 was towed from the scene due to damage.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:43 PM, deputies contacted TYLER DELLINGER, 26, while he was working on a disabled truck on the side of Highway 20 near Hyak Park. Deputies cited and released DELLINGER on a confirmed, misdemeanor warrant he had for his arrest. WARRANT info: Reedsport Municipal Court, $6,250 Bail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On December 4, 2020 at around 5:30 PM, deputies responded to a 3 vehicle crash on Highway 99W near NW Lewisburg Dr. Vehicle #1 was traveling southbound on Highway 99W approaching the NW Lewisburg Dr. intersection. Vehicle #2 was stopped for the traffic light on Highway 99W for the NW Lewisburg Dr. intersection. Vehicle #3 was also stopped at the traffic light in front of vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 failed to stop for the traffic light and ran into the back of vehicle #2, then causing it to crash into the back of vehicle #3. Vehicle #1 and 2 were towed due to the damage from the crash.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, December 13, 2020, around 11:30 P.M., Lawrence Wood, 49, was arrested for a Lane County Circuit Court warrant for Contempt of Court on Highway 20 near milepost 42. Wood was issued a criminal citation and released.
INTERFERE WITH A PEACE OFFICER/DIS CONDUCT/VIOL RELEASE - On December 2, 2020 at around 01:00 am, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance on Highway 20 near Independence Highway in the North Albany area. A caller reported a male and female fighting inside a mini van parked on the side of the highway. Deputies arrived and attempted to contact the couple. Jeffery McCallister, 31, ran from the van with one deputy chasing him, telling him to stop. McCallister had a no contact order issued by Washington County against the female who was in the van with him.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - On December 10, 2020 at approximately 1:50 PM, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Parole and Probation office. Jeffery PEARCE, 43, was in the office and had a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear-DUII. Linn County provided a new court date and time. PEARCE was issued a criminal citation en lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, December 6, 2020, at about 7:22pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash located near the 2800 block of NW Sulphur Springs Road, Corvallis. The operator was driving a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, negotiating an eastbound turn on NW Sulphur Springs Road, when he lost control of his car, left the roadway on the south side of the Road, landing upside down in the ditch. The driver had no apparent injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE/FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER - On Sunday, December 6, 2020, at about 9:00 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on NW Kings Blvd and NW Circle Blvd on a green Honda Accord for Failure to Renew Vehicle Registration and Fail to Signal Turn. During the stop, deputies discovered the driver, David James Topper, 52, had failed to register as a sex offender. Deputies found approximately 2.478 grams of methamphetamine on Topper. Topper was cited and released on scene.
WARRANT ARREST - DAVID RODRIGUEZ, 46, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL FOR A WARRANT. HE WAS GIVEN A NEW COURT DATE.
MISSING PERSON - On Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at about 6:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to a missing person somewhere between Alpine and Alsea. The man was reported missing after mushroom picking at 4 p.m. He was located on the side of South Fork Road at about 7:30 P.M.
WARRANT ARREST - On December 9, 2020, deputies arrested JUSTIN RAY GOMEZ, 28, on an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant after a traffic stop on 9th Street at College Street.
THEFT 3 FROM VEHICLE/UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at about 4:15pm, deputies were dispatched to a UEMV located on the 6900 block of NW Diamond Place, Corvallis. A resident stated she believed that early Sunday morning, her and her husband’s vehicles, which were unlocked and parked in their driveway, were gone through. She had an emergency $20 bill in her car glovebox that is missing, and her husband’s CDs located in the driver door pocket of his car, are missing. No suspects at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at about 2:35 PM, deputies contacted a male sitting behind a grocery store on 9th St Corvallis. Russell Smith, 57, had one confirmed Polk County warrant for PCS Meth and one warrant through the state of Washington which was not serviceable. Smith was issued a citation for the warrant out of Polk County Circuit Court for PCS Meth and provide a new court date and time.
DWS MIS - On Monday, December 7, 2020 at about 7:20 P.M., deputies observed a red 2002 Dodge Neon on Avery Ave, near Allen St. As the vehicle drove by, they observed Rebel Lee Tester, 33, operating the vehicle. Deputies knew Tester was suspended and stopped the vehicle on Avery Ave, near 3rd St. Dispatch advised Tester was Misdemeanor Suspended. Tester was released with a citation for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, December 7, 2020 at about 2:45 P.M., deputies observed Rochelle Smith, 24, walk in front of their vehicle. Dispatch advised Smith had confirmed warrants. They stopped Smith on 3rd St. near Chapman Pl. and transported her to the Benton County Jail for lodging. Smith was cited for her Linn County Circuit Court warrant Failure to Appear - Assault IV. Smith was lodged on her Oregon State Parole Board warrant and Benton County Circuit Court warrants Elude, Unlawful Possession of Meth., DUII x2, Criminal Mischief II, Reckless Endangering and Reckless Driving.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, December 7, 2020, at about 9:45 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 20 near MP 9. Deputies recognized Nathan Shoemaker, 22, in the passenger seat. Nathan had 17 warrants, which were later confirmed all through Linn County Circuit Court for FTA- PCS Meth with additional charges. Nathan was transported to Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE/CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM - On Monday, December 7, 2020, at about 8:05 AM, deputies were dispatched to an unlawful entry in a motor vehicle on the 6600 block of NE Pettibone Avenue. A camo jacket, duck calls and a Ruger pistol were stolen out of a truck. There is no current suspect information or possible leads.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Monday, December 7, 2020, at approximately 1:33 AM, deputies located a vehicle, which had recently parked on the 990 NW Conifer Boulevard. The driver fled the vehicle immediately after parking it, fleeing the area through a backyard. The driver was not located and the vehicle was towed.
DUII - On Sunday, December 6, 2020 at about 11:55 PM, deputies contacted HANNAH JEAN BRANDT, 37, in her vehicle on the Highway 34 Bypass. BRANDT was subsequently arrested for D.U.I.I. and was transported to the Sheriff`s Office where she took the breath test, cited, and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at about 3:50 PM, deputies were dispatched to a stalking complaint on the 100 block of NW 4th Street in Corvallis. They arrived and spoke to Jameson Honeyman, 35, who had three confirmed warrants. Two from Linn County Circuit Court and one from Lebanon Municipal court. Jameson was issued citations on all warrants. Warrant info: 1. FTA- DUII, BAIL: N/A, COURT: Linn County Circuit Court; 2. CHARGE: Contempt of Court, BAIL: N/A, COURT Linn County Circuit Court; and 3. Probation Violation, BAIL: $10,000.00, COURT Lebanon Municipal Court.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, December 6, 2020 at about 7:25 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near milepost #5 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, GERALD DWAYNE LAWRENCE, 58, had an outstanding Warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court. LAWRENCE was issued a citation in the field and released.
RESISTING ARREST DIS CONDUCT/FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE - On Sunday, December 6, 2020, at 5:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of 236 N 5th St, Monroe. The driver, Jeffery Bishop, 42, was arrested for Failing to Carry/Present his license, and Resisting Arrest. He was cited and released on scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, December 6, 2020 at about 2:00 P.M., deputies observed a 1993 Mercury Cougar with expired tabs and stopped the vehicle in the McDonalds parking lot off 9th St. and Sequoia Ave. The driver, Matthew Breeden, 34, had 4 confirmed warrants out of 4 different courts. Due to the jail inability to house arrestees, Breeden was cited on 4 different warrants.
DUII - On December 5, 2020, at 11:05 PM, deputies stopped Dale Damewood, 32, on Applegate Street near 17th Street in Philomath, for Careless Driving, Speeding, Defective Lighting and Failure to Signal Turn. They later arrested Damewood for DUII after deputies determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Damewood refused to provide a breath test. Damewood was cited and released to a sober person from the Philomath Police Department.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 5, 2020 at about 10:00 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Avery Ave. off Philomath Blvd for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, JENNIFER LYNN LEAHY, 49, had an outstanding Warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court. LEAHY was issued a citation on the Warrant and released in the field.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Black Audi A4 on Highway 34 near Milepost one. They contacted the individuals in the Audi and identified two occupants them as Jeffrey John Charles, 44, and Heather Lynn Bailey, 39. Dispatch advised Charles and Bailey had unconfirmed warrants. Deputies confirmed the warrants and arrested them both. Charles and Bailey were issued criminal citations in lieu of custody due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they were released at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On 12/05/2020 at approximately 4:52 PM, deputies contacted two adults walking in the 2400 block of SW Pickford St. They learned both adults were wanted. Deputies arrested Kelly Iverson, 51 and Thomas Griffin, 51, on outstanding warrants. Both subjects were issued citations in lieu of custody.
FALSE INS INFO TO POLICE/FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE - On Friday, December 4, 2020, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies I initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2004 Dodge Stratus at South 8th Street near Main Street in Philomath. The driver identified herself as Rachel Marie Herman. I ran Rachel through our dispatch center for wants and driving status. Dispatch advised me they could not find a license with that name. After further questioning, the driver gave deputies a name of Sarah Jane Herman, 26. They learned she had a warrant out of Clatsop County. Deputies issued Sarah criminal citations for false information to a police officer, and failure to carry and present, as well as an additional criminal citation for the warrant. Sarah was released at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 4, 2020 at about 7:05 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle near Hwy 34/Hwy 501, Alsea, for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, ANTHONY RAY WAMSLEY, 27 had an outstanding Warrant out of Philomath Municipal Court. Deputies issued WAMSLEY a citation and he was cited and released in the field.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On December 4, 2020, at around 6:10PM, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W Milepost 100 for a motor vehicle crash. A driver lost control of his 1997 Ford Ranger when he attempted to pass a semi-truck. There was no visible damage to the Ford.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately 4:38 PM, deputies contacted three individuals who were with a Honda Accord sedan in the parking lot of the Dari Mart in Monroe. MEGAN LAMBERTY, 20, was cited in lieu of custody for a misdemeanor warrant at the request of the Benton County Jail. Warrant info: Corvallis Municipal Court, FTA Shoplift I, $5,000 Bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately 2:15 PM, deputies stopped a Nissan Pathfinder SUV near SE 3rd Street & SE Chapman Place in Corvallis for a traffic violation. The driver, WILLIAM HAMILTON, 37, was cited in lieu of custody for a misdemeanor warrant at the request of the Benton County Jail. HAMILTON was also cited for No Valid Operator`s License and Driving Uninsured. Warrant info: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Harassment (X2), No Bail.
THEFT BY EXTORTION - On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately 10:28 AM, deputies spoke with a resident on the 2300 block of NW Chinook Drive by phone regarding a fraudulent call he received. The suspect claimed his Social Security Number was involved in activity of a suspicious or criminal nature and they wanted him to provide further information to prove his identity, threatening legal action if he did not comply. The man did not provide any information to the caller and just required a case number to provide to Comcast to see if they could trace the spoofed number.
THEFT 2 LOST/MISLAID PROPERTY - On December 4, 2020, 2:42 AM, deputies stopped Alexander Maybee, 25, on NW Circle Boulevard near NW Janssen Street in Corvallis, after they observed him walking down the street with a stop sign. Maybee said he found the stop sign in the Walmart/ Planet Fitness parking lot. Maybe was cited for Theft of Loss or Mislaid Property. Deputies returned the stop sign to the parking lot and bolted it back onto the post.
DWS MIS/WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 3, 2020, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on an Acura RSX for a traffic violation, contacted the driver, and identified him as Titus Burnett Tarkwon, 34. Dispatch advised Tarkwon had an unconfirmed failure to comply warrant out of Philomath municipal court as well as being revoked misdemeanor. Deputies confirmed the warrant and arrested Tarkwon. Deputies transported him to the Benton County jail where he was booked on the DWS-Misdemeanor charge.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 3, 2020 at approximately 11:57 AM, deputies stopped a red and white Ford F250 pickup near NE Circle Boulevard & NE Four Acre Place for a traffic violation. Deputies identified the driver as TERRY HERBERT, 43, who had multiple confirmed felony and misdemeanor warrants that deputies arrested him for. HERBERT was later issued citations in lieu of custody at the request of the Linn County Jail. A female passenger, who they later identified as ANTONIA CODDINGTON, 30, walked away from the traffic stop. CODDINGTON was eventually located hiding in the bathroom of a grocery store after it was discovered she had multiple confirmed felony warrants for her arrest as well. CODDINGTON was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and lodged.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 9:18 AM, deputies responded to Highway 99W & Elliott Circle for a two vehicle, non-injury crash that was blocking traffic. Vehicle #1, a silver Chrysler sedan, turned onto Highway 99W in front of Vehicle #2, a red Toyota pickup, who was travelling southbound. The front of Vehicle #1 struck the passenger side of Vehicle #2 causing significant damage to both. There were no injuries observed or reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to damage.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On December 3, 2020 at about 2:48 AM, deputies were traveling westbound on Highway 34 when they observed a figure standing in the middle of the east and westbound lanes of travel. They stopped, identified and arrested Leola Ellingsen, 31, for disorderly conduct and gave her a courtesy ride to Albany where she was released on citation.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 8:08 p.m., deputies responded to Hwy 20 mile post 35, Blodgett, for a single vehicle crash. Veh #1, a biege 2005 GMC Yukon, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20. Veh #1 came across a deer in its lane, swerved left across oncoming traffic, and drove into the ditch. Veh #1 had front-end damage, and punctured radiator hoses. There was no property damage, and Veh #1 could drive away from the scene.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at approximately 2:36 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW Hwy 99W for report of suspicious circumstances. A resident reported hearing a vehicle in the area and a door closing. After she walked outside, she found numerous mail boxes in the community mailbox bank to be open and empty. It is unknown if any mail was taken or which spaces most of the mailboxes belong to, as most were not numbered.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE/CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On November 24, 2020, at around 4:56pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24400 block of Dawson Road for a reported theft. A resident reported someone came onto his property, damaged a sign and motion-detector light at his house, and stole a chainsaw from the back of his truck. He named several people as suspects. No current leads at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, December 3, 2020, at about 4:30 P.M., deputies contacted Andre Ulysses Tucker, 52, at 400 Circle Boulevard. Dispatch advised that Tucker had a confirmed failure to appear warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Deputies issued Tucker a criminal citation before releasing him at the scene.
LITTERING - On Thursday, December 3, 2020, deputies were dispatched to contact a man concerning a littering complaint. He said he lives on the 26000 block of Alpine Road and he observed an unknown person throw a bottle from the cab of the truck. He said the truck had "MAMUKING EXPRESS" on the door. MAMUKING EXPRESS is a single truck operation out of Canby, Oregon. The resident said he could not identify the driver. Deputies called a telephone number associated to the truck but it was a fax machine line.
THEFT 1 BY DECEPTION - On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at about 3:55 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a fraud complaint on the 24800 block of Grange Hall Road. The resident said she believed she was speaking to a representative from Amazon when she let them remote access her computer. She said she purchased $1,000 worth of Ebay gift cards and the representative collected the gift card numbers. She later noticed her bank account was missing the $1,000. She did not have any suspect information and has been working with her bank regarding the loss. Deputies provided her a case number and asked her to follow up if more information was gathered.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On November 29, 2020 at about 1:55 a.m., deputies saw a male sleeping in a running vehicle behind the Chase Bank on NW Circle Blvd near NW Kings Blvd. The driver, James Robert Sanney, 57, had a confirmed Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear for DUII. He was cited and released in the field at the jail`s request.
PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT - On November 23, 2020 at about 8:45 p.m., deputies responded to a call at a tree farm near 750 SW 53rd Street, where they arrested David Ray Market Blymiller, 30, for a Parole Violation Abscond warrant out of Benton County. He was lodged at Benton County Jail.
POSS HEROIN/WARRANT ARREST/POSS METHAMPHETAMINE - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at about 7:50pm, deputies checked Emily Comer, 23, for warrants and made contact with Comer and Jacob Meyers, 25, in a Nissan Sentra located at 1st street and Harrison Blvd, Corvallis. Comer had four confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Comer was also cited for PCS Meth and PCS Heroin. Myers was cited with PCS Meth and PCS Heroin.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday December 1, 2020 at about 3:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to 53rd St. and Walnut Blvd. for an injury crash. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with 3 people. Driver 1 stated she was on Harrison Blvd. turning south on 53rd St. and almost hit a pedestrian with her car as she was running across 53rd St. The driver told deputies due to the glare of the sun, she didn`t see her until she almost hit her with her car. Driver 2 was directly behind Driver 1 in a 1999 Ford Econoline. Driver 2 did not see the runner for the same reason and hit her with the driver side mirror of his vehicle. The pedestrian was evaluated by medics and reported no injuries. She confirmed the drivers would not have been able to see her due to the glare from the sun.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at about 12:20 P.M., Philomath PD received information about a crash on Highway 20 near Highway 34. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the two drivers. Unit 1 was traveling east on Highway 20 in his 2000 Honda Civic. He slowed down for a deer crossing the road. He began to speed up and another deer crossed the road causing him to come to a complete stop for the second deer. Unit 2 was traveling east behind Hund in his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with a camper in the bed of his pickup. Unit 2 was unable to stop in time and rear-ended Unit 1. The Honda was towed due to damage and the driver was transported by a friend to the doctor. Unit 2 was drivable.
BURGLARY 2/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at about 11:20 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Aldrich Way for a cold burglary. Upon arrival, they spoke with an on-site manage. She said over the weekend someone had damaged multiple exterior window screens and attempted to break-in to their model home. Four screens in total were damaged. Deputies estimated the damage to be under $50. No suspect information.
THEFT 1 BY DECEPTION - On Monday, November 30, 2020 at about 3:20 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident by telephone who said on November 14 she received a social media message from Charles J Schroeder stating he would provide her $150,000 in exchange for $2,500. She took $1,300 cash out of her bank account and sent the cash through mail to Thelma VanHorn in Mills, Wyoming. She then bought $520 in eBay gift cards using her credit card and sent the numbers to Schroeder from her iPad.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday December 1, 2020 at about 9:00 A.M., deputies observed a white 2001 Oldsmobile sedan westbound on Highway 20 near North Albany Rd. They learned a female associated with that vehicle, Miranda Heard, 34, had a confirmed warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Criminal Trespass I. Deputies contacted Heard at Hyak Park and informed her she was under arrest for her warrant. Dispatch advised Heard had a cite and release warrant. Heard was cited for her warrant.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3/VEHICLE RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY - On Monday, November 30, 2020 at about 9:30 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Pit Rd. and Maxfield Creek Rd. for an unoccupied vehicle in a pasture. They arrived and observed a white 2012 Dodge Journey crashed in the pasture. The vehicle appeared to have been traveling north prior to crashing into a barbwire fence and landing in the pasture. There was extensive damage to the front end of the vehicle and the interior had been ripped apart. Dispatch advised the Dodge was a stolen vehicle out of Albany. The vehicle was towed and deputies left a business card for the property owner on Pit Rd. Deputies spoke with the reported owner of the Journey and provided him information regarding the incident.
VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT/WARRANT ARREST - On Monday November 30, 2020 at about 6:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on the Highway 34 Bypass for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, RONALD GORDON SATHER, 33, had an outstanding Warrant and also had a Release Agreement prohibiting him from contacting a female who was in the vehicle. SATHER was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, November 23, 2020 at about 2:25 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 34 near milepost #1 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, JACOB TYLER ELLINGSEN, 37, had 7 outstanding Warrants. ELLINGSEN was issued citations on all of the warrants and released in the field.
DUII DRUGS - On 11/26/2020 at approximately 23:52 PM, deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Shrike Way. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Gilsoo Kim, 32, for DUII Drugs. Kim was processed for DUII at the Philomath Police Department.

THEFT 3 FROM VEHICLE/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 RESULT CRIMINAL ACT - On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at approximately 3:41 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Fitton Green Natural Area in the 9200 Block of NW Cardwell Hill Drive for report of a vehicle parked there with a broken window and the door open. Deputies responded and contacted the owner of the vehicle who reported her vehicle had been unlawfully entered and her wallet stolen. She described a possible suspect vehicle description as a white or tan colored passenger car with a 30-40yr old male driver with long dirty blonde hair. Her wallet, credit cards, and $60 cash was taken.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at about 9:45 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of Main St and 19th St. Dispatch advised the passenger, JONATHAN GOVEA, 28, had an outstanding Felony Warrant out of Linn County. Deputies arrested GOVEA and was released with a citation from the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, November, 25, 2020, at about 11:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash on Highway 99w near NE Granger Avenue, north of Corvallis. They arrived to find car 1 overturned off the road on the eastside. Driver 1 stated he was driving north and due to fog accidentally hit the gravel in the side of the road. Driver 1 said the vehicle began to lose control and eventually overturned and rolled to a stop. Driver 1 was not impaired and was not injured, aside from minor cuts. Car 1 was towed to damage and Driver 1 was taken to his residence nearby.
FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION - On Friday, November 20, 2020, at about 4:50pm, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance on the 900 block of Springhill Drive NW, Albany, Oregon. Deputies spoke to a man who stated when he was golfing earlier he saw in the brush by hole, a port-a-potty by a transient camp, and the golf course`s porta potty was missing. Deputies located the campsite and Cyle Schrunk, 33, hiding in the brush nearby. Schrunk had a confirmed warrant. Schrunk was cited and released on scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday November 23, 2020 at about 9:20 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on 4th St. near Monroe Ave. for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, CRYSTAL MARIE WOODWARD, 37, had two outstanding warrants, one of which was a Felony Warrant. Deputies arrested WOODWARD and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and released.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING/DUII - On November 22, 2020 at about 5:38, deputies responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver on Highway 20 near NE Garden Avenue. They stopped the silver 2003 Honda Civic on Sycamore Avenue near NW 9th Street. Rene Bautista Lopez, 25, was arrested for DUII. He provided a breath sample of .16% BAC. He was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, November 21, 2020, at about 10:20 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Blue Ford Focus at Granger Avenue near Hyslop Road. They contacted the driver and identified him as Matthew Scott Tuomi, 33. Dispatch informed Tuomi had confirmed warrants out of Linn County. Deputies issued Tuomi criminal citations for the warrants and released him at the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On November 20, 2020 at around 0635 am, deputies came across a pickup truck stopped in the roadway near 13880 Airlie Road in Polk County. The driver was towing his 19` Fish Rite boat with his 2015 Chevrolet 3500 pick-up and struck a bull elk crossing the roadway. The collision damaged the front end and driver side of the truck along with some minor damage to the boat and trailer. The truck was towed to Independence.
FALSE INS INFO TO POLICE/IDENTITY THEFT/POSS HEROIN /WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, November 20, 2020 at about 4:20 am, deputies were dispatched to an attempt to locate for a vehicle in the area of Highway 99W and NW Arboretum Road, near Adair Village. They stopped a Black Acura at NW 9th Street and NW Oak Street and arrested Donny Smith, 34, for two warrants, a Parole Violation and Probation Violation, as well as issuing him criminal citations for Identity Theft and Possession of a Controlled substance- Heroin. Amber Bagwell, 32, was also arrested for her two warrants, Parole Violation and Probation Violation, as well as a criminal citation for eight counts of Identity theft and False Information to Police.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On November 16, 2020, at around 6:45pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24600 block of Stovall Lane, Philomath, for a report of criminal mischief. A resident reported a set of outdoor cabinets and a chair had been knocked over off her front porch the night before and were damaged. She did not have any immediate suspects.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER/POSS HEROIN - On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 1:27 PM, deputies contacted a red Honda Accord sedan with a switched license plate in a parking lot in Corvallis. Deputies arrested JARRETT GALARZA, 32, who had confirmed warrants, after he initially gave a false name. GALARZA was cited in lieu of custody for his warrants at the request of the Linn County Jail. GALARZA was also cited for the new crimes of Unlawful Possession of Heroin - Misdemeanor and Giving False Information to a Peace Officer. WARRANT info: Linn County Circuit Court, FTA Theft II / Possession of Burglary Tools, No Bail and Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail.
DUII - On November 10, 2020 at about 10:16 p.m., deputies stopped a silver Honda Civic at NW 3rd St and NW Polk Ave. Gary Hatfield Jr, 41, was arrested for DUII. He provided a breath sample of .13% BAC. He was issued a citation and released to a sober friend.
DUII/FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES DRIVER/RECKLESS DRIVING - On November 9, 2020, at around 5:57pm, deputies observed a white Dodge Ram truck driving south on South on 13th Street, Philomath, with a large gray curbside recycling container stuck on its side under the front of the truck. The driver, Shane Felber, 25, was arrested and issued criminal citations for Driving under the influence of intoxicants - alcohol, Reckless driving, Failure to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged, and a traffic citation for Failure to drive within a lane.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, November 29, 2020 at around 3:55 PM, Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on Highway 99W near MP80. Vehicle #1 went off the east side of the roadway and struck a utility pole with the front passenger side of the car. The vehicle continued in the ditch area and then hit the backside of the guardrail, breaking several of the wood supports. The vehicle came to rest behind the guardrail. The driver was unable to remember how she had gotten to the crash. A family member transported her to the hospital to be checked out. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 1:48 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of NE Belvue St and NE Lawndale Pl, Corvallis.The driver, Ryan Garrette, 48, had a confirmed Felony warrant for his arrest out of Benton County Circuit Court. Per the Benton County Jail, Garrette was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released on scene.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Friday November 27, 2020 at about 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of NE Pettibone Dr. for a trespass. The resident observed a side by side ATV on his property. Deputies were unable to locate the ATV.
BURGLARY 2/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 RESULT CRIMINAL ACT - On November 27, 2020, unknown person(s) broke a window, then tried to make entry on the north side of a building on the 5800 block of NW Highway 99W. The audible alarm likely scared them off immediately.
ASSAULT PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER - On Thursday, November 26, 2020, at approximately 6:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Jail for a report of an assault against a jail deputy. Patrol deputies arrived and spoke with jail deputies who said Kassandra Schumacher, 26, tried to run through them to leave her cell during trash pickup. Deputies took Kassandra to the ground and she scratched one of them on the face, left hand, and left arm, causing visible injuries. Deputies arrested Kassandra for Assaulting a Public Safety Officer.
THEFT 1 DECEPTION - On Thursday, November 26, 2020 at approximately 4:35 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident over the phone regarding theft by deception. She reported someone claiming to be in the Airforce from Billings, Montana, sent her a link that appeared to be Ebay, selling a vehicle for 1400.00 dollars. She got another message that the person needed 800.00 dollars for insurance. She sent both of these amounts as ebay gift cards before realizing this was likely fraudulent.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday November 26, 2020 at about 1:20 P.M., deputies observed Richard Sather, 31, at the Country Limits store near 53rd St. and Harrison Blvd. Sather had a confirmed contempt of court warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Sather was cited for his warrant.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE/UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On November 21, 2020 at around 11 am, deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of NE Asbahr Avenue in Corvallis. The resident reported someone entered his F-350 pickup which was unlocked and was parked across the street from his house. Taken from the truck were some tools, stereo equipment, clothing, and keys to several of his vehicles.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Thursday, November 19, 2020, at about 6:30 pm, deputies was dispatched to an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle located on the 6400 block of NW Independence Hwy, Albany, Oregon. The resident me deputies when he went out to his Ford F350 today his door handle was broken, the door lock was pushed in, and there were several finger smudges at the seam of the door. Estimated value of damage is $47.60. No property missing and no suspect identified.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Tuesday, November 25, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 6600 block of SW Reservoir Avenue for a criminal mischief report. They arrived and spoke with a resident who said his wife found their chain link fence cut. He estimated the damage at $500. He said a male was recently arrested for trespassing on his property. He placed a trail camera on the fence and will contact deputies if he finds suspect information or if anything is found missing from his property.
THEFT 3 LOST/MISLAID PROP/HINDER PROSECUTION - On November 24, 2020 at about 11:15 p.m., deputies responded to the 2000 block of NW Tyler Avenue to attempt to locate a subject on a felony charge. Chelsea Adele Nunn, 30, was arrested for Hindering Prosecution and Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property. She was transported to Benton County Jail.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE - On November 24, 2020 around 9:30AM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a Monroe resident by phone for a reported theft. He stated he had a tool bag stolen from his truck on November 16, 2020, valuing around $950.00, on the 600 block of Commercial Street. The tools were in a red Husky tool bag, containing a Dewalt sawsall, batteries, and a variety of other hand tools.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at about 4:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Harrison Boulevard and 53rd Avenue. They arrived and observed a 1988 Volvo 740 with moderate damage to the passenger side. The driver stated she believed she had a green light to turn south onto 53rd Avenue when she was struck on the passenger side by a 2004 Ford F-350. The Volvo was towed and the F-350 was able to be driven away from the scene.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at about 9:55 P.M., deputies were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle on Circle Boulevard near Highway 20. When they arrived, they observed a black Audi A4 in the ditch west of Highway 20 on the north side of the road. Soon after their arrival, dispatch informed deputies the owner called dispatch and said it was his vehicle in the ditch. He said he was towing the Audi when it felt off the car dolly into the ditch and he was on his way to retrieve it while they were speaking.
BURGLARY 2/THEFT 3/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 RESULT CRIMINAL ACT - On November 20, 2020, deputies contacted a resident on the 2000 block of SW Herbert Avenue. Sometime overnight, the shop on the property was broken into and tools were taken. No suspect information at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, November 20, 2020 at approximately 2:21 PM, detectives observed REBEL TESTER, 33, in a vehicle on Kings Boulevard near Van Buren Avenue in Corvallis. Dispatch informed them TESTER had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. Detectives contacted and arrested TESTER at 1930 NW Circle Boulevard. TESTER was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody for his warrant at the request of the Linn County Jail. WARRANT info: Lebanon Justice Court, Probation Violation - FTA II, $7,500 Bail.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE/WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, November 20, 2020 at approximately 3:08 PM, detectives stopped and arrested ANGELA BEGIN, 41, near 16th Street and Polk Avenue in Corvallis for a misdemeanor warrant. BEGIN was also found to be in possession of 9.49 Grams (Total Combined Package Weight) of presumptive Methamphetamine. BEGIN was issued criminal citations with court dates in lieu of custody for her warrant and the additional crime of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine - Felony. WARRANT info: Albany Municipal Court, FTC - Contempt of Court, No Bail.
FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION - On November 20, 2020 at around 2:27 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of NE Pettibone Drive in Corvallis to look for a 2007 Honda Fit. Deputies later stopped the Honda Fit leaving the area and arrested the driver Tiffany Bates, 20, for a Sweet Home Municipal Warrant.
DWS FELONY - On Monday, November 23, 2020 at about 9:08 A.M., deputies observed a black Volkswagen Jetta not signal 100 feet before changing lanes on Main Street in Philomath. They stopped the vehicle and arrested Michael Andrew Chelemedos, 53, for Driving While Suspended Felony. Michael was issued a citation and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, November 23, 2020 at about 9:20 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on 4th St. near Monroe Ave. for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, CRYSTAL MARIE WOODWARD, 37, had two outstanding warrants, one of which was a Felony Warrant. Deputies arrested WOODWARD and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and released.
BURGLARY 2/THEFT 1 - On November 23, 2020 at about 3:00 PM, deputies responded to the 26600 block of Shady Oak Drive for a cold burglary. The resident stated that some stole a Troy-Bilt log splitter valued at $1200-1300 and $500-$600 worth of tools. The tools were from his unlocked shop and the splitter was from the driveway in front of his residence.
FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER/WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, November 23, 2020 at about 2:30 P.M., deputies arrested Geoffrey Allen Halstead, 31, for two warrants and failing to register as a sex offender. Halstead had not registered as a sex offender since May of 2018. Geoffrey was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, November 23, 2020 at about 2:25 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 34 near milepost #1 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, JACOB TYLER ELLINGSEN, 37, had 7 outstanding Warrants. ELLINGSEN was issued citations on all of the warrants and released in the field.
HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT - On November 22, 2020 at about 10:00 am, deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW Springhill Dr to Assist Medics. The caller reported Cassandra Marie Marsh, 30, pushed him down causing injury to his back. Deputies arrested Marsh for Harassment and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
BURGLARY 2/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 - On Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 1:51 a.m., deputies responded to a commercial burglary alarm on NE Garden Ave, Corvallis. Deputies located damage and evidence a burglary occurred. A K-9 track was conducted and no suspects were located.
THEFT 2/CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Saturday, November 21, 2020 at about 1:20 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident by telephone, who lives on the south side of Woods Creek Rd at milepost 4. Last week, he discovered $400 worth of guidelines, cables and turnbuckles were stolen off the property. He is uncertain of when this occurred, but wanted it reported. No suspect information.

The caller said an unknown female near the roadway said she was chased by an unknown male holding a double-edged ax. The female asked the man to call for help. He did not witness the incident or see the male. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate anyone else that had witness the incident.
WARRANT ARREST - On November 21, 2020, at 9:11 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on NW Hickory Street near NW Springhill Drive in Albany for illegal window tint and failure to stop when emerging from a parking lot. The driver was driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured and was cited for the traffic violations. The front seat passenger, Tarah Hyre, 32, had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear, Possession of a Firearm, Bail $00. Hrye was issued a new court date for the warrant. The vehicle was towed as a traffic hazard.

They contacted the driver and identified him as Matthew Scott Tuomi, 33. Dispatch informed that Tuomi had three confirmed warrants out of Linn County. Deputies issued Tuomi criminal citations for the warrants and released him at the scene.
DUII - On 11/22/2020 at approximately 01:53 hours, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 20 near milepost 36. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Christian Igo, 20, for DUII. Igo was processed at the Philomath Police Department before being released.
DUII - On November 10, 2020 at about 10:16 p.m., deputies stopped a silver Honda Civic at NW 3rd St and NW Polk Ave. Gary Hatfield Jr, 41, was arrested for DUII. He was issued a citation and released to a sober friend.
DUII/FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES DRIVER/RECKLESS DRIVING - On November 9, 2020, at around 5:57pm, deputies observed a white Dodge Ram truck driving south on South 13th Street, Philomath, with a large gray curbside recycling container stuck on its side under the front of the truck. The driver, Shane Felber, 25, was arrested and issued criminal citations for driving under the influence of intoxicants - alcohol, reckless driving, Failure to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged, and a traffic citation for failure to drive within a lane.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 11/18/20, JAIL DEPUTIES LEARNED CHRISTOPHER HELOTN, 48, HAD A WARRANT FOR FTA DANGEROUS DRUGS OUT OF JACKSON COUNTY, BAIL $5,000.
DUII DRUGS - On 11/19/2020 at approximately 10:22 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop in Corvallis. They learned both occupants, Micki Englent, 36, and James Baker, 20, had felony warrants. They conducted a DUII investigation and placed Englent in custody for DUII. Englent was taken to the Benton County Jail. Baker was taken to the Linn County Jail.
THEFT 3 - On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at about 4:33pm, deputies were dispatched to a theft located at NW Ryals Ave and NW Independence Hwy, Corvallis. A Linn County Probation Officer who was off duty, witnessed an adult male and female take gravel from the Benton County gravel lot, and load it in a silver Honda Civic. Deputies located the registered own of the vehicle, Cynthia Harbin, 63, at her residence, who admitted taking the gravel and showed deputies where she had already used it. Deputies cited Harbin for Theft III.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Sunday, November 15, 2020 at about 6:55 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W, milepost 94 for a non-injury crash. Upon arrival they observed a green 1998 Toyota 4Runner in the ditch on the eastside of the highway. They spoke with the driver and the occupants of the vehicle. Alfredo Moreno told me he was traveling south on Highway 99W and fell asleep while driving. There were no injuries, minimal vehicle damage and Bob`s pulled the Toyota out of the ditch.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On November 16, 2020, deputies contacted a resident on the 1600 block of NW Nebergall Loop in North Albany. He owns a large farm and found an abandoned homeless camp on his property along the Willamette River. He allowed the person to use the camp to stay there during the summer. Now the camp is abandoned and there was trash left. He did not have any information on who was camping there. He is now unable to clean up the camp due to the high water on the river.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On November 16, 2020, at around 6:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24600 block of Stovall Lane, Philomath, for a report of criminal mischief. A resident reported a set of outdoor cabinets and a chair had been knocked over off her front porch the night before and were damaged. She did not have any immediate suspects.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at about 5:25 AM, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash on Highway 223 near milepost 22. When they arrived they found car 1 blocking the northbound lane after rolling on the highway. The driver stated he was tired and left the road while making a left hand corner. Car 1 appeared to have drove about 100 feet off road in the grass before sliding sideways, eventually getting back on the road. Car 1 overturned, and rolled about 50 feet before coming to a rest. Driver 1 was transported to the hospital and the car was towed from the scene.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER/POSS HEROIN - On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 1:27 PM, deputies contacted a red Honda Accord sedan with a switched license plate on the 1700 block of 9th St, Corvallis. They arrested JARRETT GALARZA, 32, who had confirmed warrants, after he initially gave a false name. GALARZA was cited in lieu of custody for his warrants at the request of the Linn County Jail. GALARZA was also cited for the new crimes of Unlawful Possession of Heroin - Misdemeanor and Giving False Information to a Peace Officer. Warrant info: Linn County Circuit Court, FTA Theft II / Possession of Burglary Tools, No Bail and Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail.

ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On November 18, 2020 at about 8:00 AM, deputies responded to NW Metge Ave near the intersection of NW Independence Hwy for a single vehicle rollover crash. They arrived and spoke with the driver who stated she was traveling eastbound on NW Metge Ave when her vehicle, a 2005 Chevy Tahoe, caught the shoulder of the road. She stated that her passenger side caught mud and gravel, which threw her over the embankment where the Tahoe rolled over causing substantial damage.

Dispatch advised the driver, AARON MATTHEW SPINNEY, 48, had an outstanding Warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. SPINNEY was issued a citation and released in the field.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at about 12:20 A.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Black BMW at 590 Circle Boulevard. They contacted Sarah Margaret Davis, 26, who had a confirmed warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Davis was issued a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - ON 11/17/20, AT APPROXIMATELY 1600, DORMAN, ANDREA RACHELE, 35, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE BCCF JAIL LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH ST FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA CRIM MISCH 1, BAIL $3K. DORMAN WAS GIVEN A COURT DATE AND TIME.
IDENTITY THEFT - On Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at about 9:00 AM, deputies took a phone report of attempted Identity Theft for a resident on the 600 block of SE Corliss Avenue in Corvallis. She reported that she received a letter from Finger Hut web bank out of Salt Lake City Utah, stating her credit card application had been denied. She said she had not applied for a credit card from any bank. She then checked her credit score on line and found that someone had also tried to get a small business loan/Installment loan out of Washington DC and that was still being processed.
DWS MIS - On Monday, November 16, 2020 at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevy Trailblazer on Main Street near 24th Street. They contacted the driver, Justin Keith Brown, 42. He had a suspended license due to a prior DUII arrest. Deputies arrested Brown and issued him a criminal citation for DWS-Misdemeanor.
WARRANT ARREST - ON NOVEMBER 16, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 1321, SANDOVAL, MICHAEL, 65, TURNED HIMSELF IN ON A WARRANT TO THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL`S FRONT LOBBY DOORS. HE HAD THREE FAILURE TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANTS FOR: 1) CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2, BAIL 500-00; 2) CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2, BAIL 500-00; AND 3) ATTEMPTED AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT, ASSAULT 4, ATTEMPTED ASSAULTING A PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER, DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2, ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON, ATTEMPTED FELON IN POSSESSION OF A RESTRICTED WEAPON, AND FAILURE TO REPORT AS A SEX OFFENDER. SANDOVAL WAS RELEASED ON OWN RECOGNIZANCE WITH A NEW COURT DATE.

HE HAD THREE FAILURE TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANTS: 1) CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, BAIL 500-00; 2) THEFT 2, CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2, BAIL 3000-00; AND 3) CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2, THEFT 3, BAIL 500-00. CONKLIN WAS ISSUED A RELEASE AGREEMENT WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES OF A DRIVER - On November 16, 2020 at about 11:00 AM, deputies responded to the 28500 block of Highway 99W for a failure to perform duties of a driver with property damage. They spoke with the property owner at this address who stated that it appeared someone ran over some utility pedestals for internet and phone service on his property.
ASSAULT 4 FEL DOMESTIC/HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT SIMPLE ASSAULT - On Monday, November 16, 2020 at about 10:05 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a reported physical domestic disturbance on the 1800 block of NE Seavy Avenue. They arrested Isach James Funderburg, 19, after he grabbed his sister’s arm and punched her in the face. Isach was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1/POSS METHAMPHETAMINE/INTERFERE WITH PEACE OFFICER/POSS BURGLARS TOOLS/ELUDE VEHICLE/FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES OF A DRIVER/RECKLESS DRIVING/ELUDE FOOT - On November 12, 2020, at 4:06 PM, deputies attempted to stop Trevor Anderson, 37, on Highway 20 near Mary`s River Estates Road for multiple traffic violations. Anderson refused to stop and led BCSO on a pursuit throughout the Philomath and Corvallis area. Anderson’s vehicle became disabled after a crash, and he fled on foot. Anderson was apprehended by K9 Brutus as he fled into a wooded area. Anderson was taken to the Benton County Jail on the listed charges.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE/WARRANT ARREST - On November 12, 2020 at about 11:00 AM, deputies stopped and arrested Gerald Payseno, 37, in a parking lot near on 3rd Ave/Avery in Corvallis. Payseno had an outstanding warrant and was in possession of presumptive methamphetamine.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On 11/6/2020, TYLER, Zachary, 41, was force release due to a medical emergency at work. TYLER had 3 different warrants: PV-Theft II Lebanon Muni Court; FTC-DWS Philomath Muni Court; and FTA-PCS Meth Linn County Circuit Court.
CONTEMPT OF COURT - On November 16, 2020 at around 09:22 am, deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the BCSO P&P office to serve a warrant on Linda McDaniel, 60. McDaniel had a cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt. McDaniel said she did not know there was a warrant for her arrest. Deputies completed a criminal citation for McDaniel and served her a copy with a new court date and time to appear.
INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Sunday, November 15, 2020 at about 5:55 P.M., deputies heard Corvallis Police dispatched to the area of SW 49th Street and SW Kara Avenue, for a reported person inside a home that was under construction. BCSO was substantially closer so deputies responded and spoke to a construction worker. The man had a caulking gun in his hand, but had it pointed in a safe direction. He stated he was finishing caulking around the kitchen area.
WARRANT ARREST - On 11/15/2020 at approximately midnight, deputies arrested Taylor Henderson, 24, on a warrant. Henderson was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, November 15, 2020, deputies arrested Sarah Kristine Shelton, 36, for a warrant at Country Club Drive and near Country Club Place. Deputies issued Shelton a criminal citation for the warrant and released her at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, November 15, 2020, at about 6:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at Highway 99W near Lewisberg Avenue. They arrived and contacted Megan Rynae Flanagan, 23, who had a confirmed warrant out of Lincoln County Circuit Court.
WARRANT ARREST - On 11/15/2020 at approximately 12:25 AM, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 Block of College Street in Philomath. Three of the four occupants in the vehicle had active arrest warrants. Korina Clark, 48, and Christina Sawyer, 41, were issued citations in lieu of custody. Thomas Downey, 63, was taken to the Benton County Correctional Facility where he was lodged on a parole board warrant.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Friday, November 13, 2020, at about 6:40pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash located on NE HWY 20 and Circle Blvd, Corvallis. Unit 1, a 2018 Honda Civic, was eastbound on NE HWY 20, turning west onto Circle Blvd. Unit 2, a 2015 Ford Fusion, was westbound on NE HWY 20. Both vehicles had green lights. Unit 2 failed to yield to oncoming traffic when she turned in front of Unit 1, causing the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On November 11, 2020 at about 2:30 PM, deputies went to a residence located on the 28700 block of Highway 34 where they found Jessika Harris, 40. Harris had three warrants for her arrest. Deputies issued her citations for the warrants in lieu of custody. Warrant information as follows: Benton County Circuit Court, Failure to appear- false info, no bail/no matrix; Albany Municipal, Contempt of Court, no bail; and Lebanon Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, $10,000 bail.
FAIL CARRY OR PRESENT OP LICENSE/WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 8:09 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a purple 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, near the intersection of SW 15th St and SW Western Blvd, Corvallis. Deputies arrested the driver, Steen Skinner, 30, for fail to carry/present his license, and a confirmed Felony warrant for his arrest. He was lodged at the Benton County Jail on his warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On 11/14/2020, at approximately 1:33 AM, deputies located a vehicle parked on SW 6th Street in Corvallis. They contacted 4 adults inside. Two of the four adults had active arrest warrants. David Lovie, 35, and Edward Schroeder, 36, were issued citations in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On 11/13/2020 at approximately 5:03 AM, deputies contacted two adults sleeping in a vehicle in a parking lot on 9th St, Corvallis. The male was identified as Jacob Myers, 25, who had a warrant for his arrest. Myers was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
DUII - On 11/13/2020, at approximately 12:10 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle with expired registration. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Austin Galloway, 25, for DUII. Galloway was processed for DUII and released to a sober driver.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at about 3:40pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash located on NE HWY 20 near milepost 4, Corvallis, Oregon. Unit 1, a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was eastbound on NE HWY 20. The vehicle was slowing to a stop because a vehicle two cars in front were turning left across traffic. Unit 2, a 1996 Honda Accord, drove into the back of Unit 1. There were no injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, November 9, 2020 at about 10:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash on SW 53rd Street near Bellfountain Road, south of Philomath. Deputies arrived to find car 1 in a ditch after losing control on the gravel road. The driver stated she was looking down at the floorboard and drifted over. Trying to correct the car, she resulted in an over correction. No significant damage occurred to the vehicle and no injuries were sustained. Car 1 was towed out of the ditch and left under its own power.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at about 7:15pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on NE Hwy 20 and NE Ashbar Ave on a gray Dodge Charger for Operation without Required Lighting Equipment. The back passenger, Crystal Marcum, 42, had a confirmed warrant. Marcum was cited and released on scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at about 11:30AM, deputies saw a green, 2000 Saturn parked at Hyak park. They spoke with the male in the driver’s seat who identified himself as Gerald D Lawrence, 58. Dispatch advised Lawrence had a confirmed Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for a Probation Violation. Deputies issued Lawrence a citation with a new court date and time.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM - On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at about 12:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 23500 block of Forrests Place to speak with a resident. He stated a male in a tan colored pickup with a toolbox in the back shot two turkeys on his property, collected a turkey, then drove off. He stated he had a photo of the vehicle from a similar incident during the spring. The pickup had no license plates on it, as if the person planned the incident.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at about 1:40 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 34 near milepost #1 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, DAVID MICHAEL LONGO, 44, had seven outstanding Warrants. LONGO was handcuffed and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On November 10, 2020 at about 9:20 am, deputies drove upon a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash at Hwy 20 and Springhill. Unit 1 was stopped on Springhill at the HWY 20 traffic light. Unit 2 was westbound on HWY 20 attempting to negotiate a right turn/merge onto Springhill. Unit 2 was traveling too fast for conditions and locked up his brakes midway through the turn. He left his lane of travel and skidded into Unit 2.
DWS MIS/WARRANT ARREST - On November 10, 2020 at about 8:00 AM, deputies observed David Sanders, 48, driving a Ford pickup in Hyak Park and Highway 20. They stopped and arrested him for a Lebanon probation violation warrant and DWS- Misdemeanor. Sanders was lodged at the Lebanon Municipal jail.
WARRANT ARREST - On November 7, 2020, at 10:14 PM, deputies stopped Tyler James Epps, 21, on Harrison Boulevard near 4th Street in Corvallis for Defective Lighting, Unsignaled Lane Change and Illegal Window Tint. Epps was taken into custody on two statewide felony warrants. Epps was taken to the Linn County Jail on his warrants.
BURGLARY 2/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM/THEFT 2 - On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at about 4:00pm, deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Oak Street, Monroe, regarding a burglary. The owner stated when he arrived at about 3:00pm, he noticed a Unit was missing its lock, and the sliding latch was broken. He stated the estimated damage to the door and lock was approximately $510. The owner of the contents went to the unit and discovered a laptop that was over ten years old, and approximately $200 cash that was in a piggy bank, missing. No suspect identified.
BURGLARY 2/THEFT 1/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Friday, October 30, 2020, at about 4:40pm, deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of NE Elliot Circle, Corvallis, regarding a burglary. The resident stated he arrived to his home to find the front and back doors had been pried open, and the latch to his shed broken off. He stated his tools, subwoofer, amp and two rafts were missing.
THEFT 3 SHOPLIFT/POSS HEROIN/POSS METHAMPHETAMINE - On Friday, November 6, 2020 at 6:15 PM, deputies arrested MICHAEL CANTRELL, 55, after he shoplifted from Fred Meyer in Corvallis. CANTRELL was also found to be in possession of a small amount of Heroin and a Methamphetamine pipe. CANTRELL was cited in lieu of custody for Theft III, PCS Heroin - Misdemeanor, and PCS Methamphetamine - Misdemeanor.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at about 12:15 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of SW Allen Street for a female who walked onto the property and appeared to be "Casing the place". Deputies arrived and spoke with the resident who stated a female came onto the property, then left when she was told to leave. Sharon stated there are currently no, “no trespassing” signs posted. The female suspect was described as wearing a dark colored sweater over a grey sweatshirt, with black pants, red shoes, and sunglasses.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 11/10/20, DONDICK, AUBREY, 24, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH ST FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA DUII, BAIL $3K. DONKICK WAS ISSUED A NEW COURT DATE.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE - On Monday, November 10, 2020 at about 7:40 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 4300 block of NE Holly Lane in Adair Village for a theft from a motor vehicle. The owner stated between 2 A.M. and 6 A.M. someone stole numerous power tools from his lockbox in the bed of his pickup. No suspect information at this time.
SEARCH AND RESCUE MISSING - On Sunday, November 8, 2020 at about 8:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the Klickitat Road area to look for a lost male. They drove out and located a man with his dog and returned them to his vehicle about 7-8 miles away. He was not injured and did not require medical attention.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON NOVEMBER 8, 2020, DEPUTIES CHECKED FOR WARRANTS ON LOZANO, ARMANDO, 28, PRIOR TO RELEASE AND LOCATED A CORVALLIS MUNICIPAL WARRANT FOR OPEN CONTAINER, BAIL 5000-00. DEPUTIES CONFIRMED THE WARRANT AND ISSUED A HIM A NEW COURT DATE.
WARRANT ARREST - On October 5, 2020 at about 1:20 PM, deputies responded to the 23300 block of Hoskins Road for a possible trespass. Deputies issued Michael Dennis Moore, 50, citations for his warrants and released him in the field. Warrant information: Linn County Circuit Court FTA - ID Theft and FTA - Criminal citation.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On Oct. 29, 2020 at approximately 0712, PEREZ-DOLORES, Agustin, 24, turned himself in to the Benton County Jail to serve and sentence. An outstanding warrant was discovered for PEREZ-DOLORES, issued by Corvallis Municipal Court for FTA - Harassment. The warrant was issued on Oct. 21, 2020, bail $5,000. PEREZ-DOLORES signed an agreement to appear at the Corvallis Municipal Court at a later date.
WARRANT ARREST - On November 8, 2020, at around 4:19pm, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked along Dykstra Road. They arrived and saw a dark gray 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 truck stopped in the middle of the roadway. Dawson King, 24, was inside the vehicle and claimed he ran out of gas the day before. Dawson was criminally cited for a warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for Failure to appear – Menacing. Dawson`s truck was towed as a road hazard.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, November 8, 2020 at about 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW Highway 99W to speak with a resident. Carisa Denton was ultimately arrested for multiple Linn County PV warrants and transported to Linn County Jail for lodging, where she was given a new court date, transported back to the residence and released.
DUII - On Sunday, November 8, 2020, at approximately 1:20 A.M., deputies stopped Rylee Matthew Morris, 21, on 9th Street near Van Buren Avenue after a traffic stop. They arrested Morris following field sobriety tests and transported him to the Law Enforcement Center where they cited and released him for DUII and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Sunday, November 8, 2020, at 12:42 a.m., deputies responded to Bellfountain RD near MP 8, Corvallis, for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Deputies located the vehicle on Hwy 99W near MP 89. They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and found out it was Valley Merchant Police doing a security check at the location.
DUII - On 11/07/2020 at approximately 02:16 hours, deputies stopped Hanna Boyd, 24, for a traffic violation in Monroe. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Boyd for DUII. Boyd was processed at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office prior to being released.
WARRANT ARREST - On November 7, 2020, at 1:15 AM, deputies stopped Terra Denney, 44, on SW Technology Loop near SW Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis, for Defective Lighting and Improper Display of Registration. Denney was Driving While Suspended Violation and Driving Uninsured. She had three confirmed warrants for her arrest out of multiple jurisdictions. The front seat passenger, Brandon Brown, 50, had two confirmed warrants for his arrest. Denney and Brown were both issued new court dates for all the warrants, due to COVID-19 protocol. Denney was cited for all the driving infractions as well.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Friday, November 6, 2020, at about 10:10pm, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at NE Highway 99 and Ryals Ave, Corvallis. The driver was southbound on Highway 99. He turned east on Ryals Ave, turned too wide and went off the road, into the ditch. There were no injuries or visible damage to the vehicle. He called for his own tow, but said it could be there overnight. Deputies placed yellow Sheriff`s Office tape across the back of the vehicle.
LITTERING - On Friday, November 6, 2020, at approximately 6:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Alexander Avenue and Crystal Lake Drive for a welfare check on an intoxicated male. A man reported that a male wearing a green reflective jacket was intoxicated, drinking White Claws in an area that was meant for people who live in the apartments nearby. Deputies located an empty four-pack of White claw left on Alexander Road near Crystal Lake Drive. Deputies later located the male at a convenient store, seated outside with a new six-pack of beer. Deputies warned the male for Offensive Littering. He was planning to walk home.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, November 6, 2020 at about 3:00 P.M., deputies arrived at the 5100 block of NW Highway 99W and spoke with Troy Averill, 50. Averill had four confirmed warrants out of Albany Municipal Court for DWS MISD. Deputies told Averill he was under arrest. Averill was cited for his warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On 11/06/2020 at approximately 06:17 hours, deputies observed Kenneth Smith, 30, getting into a blue jeep on the 1200 block of 19th St in Philomath. Smith was taken into custody without incident for a warrant. Deputies issued Smith a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On November 6, 2020, at 12:40 AM, deputies responded to the 100 block of SW 53rd Street in Corvallis for an Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle. The caller observed a "Sketchy," white male in his 50`s, wearing a green jack and holding a backpack, enter a red 1973 Jeep. The suspect was attempting to start the Jeep when he was confronted by the caller. When the suspect was confronted, he ran off and was last seen running eastbound on the Midge Kramer Bike Path. Deputies attempted to locate the male with K9 Brutus for about 30 minutes, but he was not located.
THEFT 2 - On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at about 5:09 pm, deputies were dispatched to a theft located on Highway 34, milepost 28, Alsea. A resident reported by phone that he was building a walking trail on his vacant property. He stated a metal stair frame with handrail going up the embankment off the highway, along with his private property signs were missing.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, November 5, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of NE Elliott Circle for a reported Domestic Disturbance. No probable cause for a crime was obtained. Chelsea Vasche, 33, had a confirmed warrant from the Benton County Circuit Court for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Chelsea was issued a citation with a court date and time to appear.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Thursday, November 5, 2020 at about 2:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 and Granger Ave. for a two-vehicle crash. Unit 1 was turning east onto Highway 20 from Granger Ave. in his white 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Unit 2 was traveling west on Highway 20 near Granger Ave. in his gold 2001 Toyota Camry. Unit 1 did not see Unit 2 and pulled out in front of him. There was substantial front-end damage to both vehicles. They vehicles were both towed. There were no injuries reported.
ASSAULT PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER, HARASSMENT AGGRAVATED, ATTEMPTED AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT - On Thursday, November 5, 2020 at about 9:30 A.M., deputies arrived at the Benton County Jail to speak with Jail Deputies regarding an incident that occurred around 9:10 A.M. Sarah Rodgers, 26, was involved in an incident with jail deputies. Rodgers was arrested for Aggravated Harassment, Attempted Aggravated Harassment, Harassment and Assaulting a Public Safety Officer.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at about 12:21am, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash located on NE HWY 20 near milepost 4, Corvallis. Unit 1, a 2003 Ford Focus, was westbound on NE HWY 20. The driver stated he fell asleep at the wheel, causing his vehicle to cross traffic, and collide with a tree. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries, his cat was transported to Willamette Veterinarian Hospital, and his vehicle was towed from the scene due to severe damage.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, November 3, 2020 at about 1218 hours, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury traffic crash on South Fork Road near milepost 6. Unit 1, a 2015 Subaru WRX, westbound on South Fork Road negotiating a right hand curve. While in the turn, his front wheels began sliding. He said he applied his brakes, but continued sliding into the eastbound lane. He then crashed head on into unit 2, a 2013 Lexus ES300H. Medics were called to the scene to evaluate an occupant for possible injuries, but was not transported to the hospital. Deputies gave the occupants of unit 2 a ride home to Eugene and there vehicle was towed. The Subaru was also towed.
DUII, RECKLESS DRIVING - On November 1, 2020 at around 1:37 a.m., deputies stopped Kenzie Marie Stubblefield, 24, at NW 9th St and NW Polk Ave for Reckless Driving. She was later arrested, cited and released for DUII and Reckless Driving. She was released to a sober driver.
