1/17/20 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Thursday, January 16, 2020 at approximately 2:47 PM, deputies contacted KATIE WAMSLEY, 23, at an illegal campsite by the railroad tracks on the east side of Pioneer Park in Corvallis. Deputies arrested WAMSLEY on seven confirmed felony and misdemeanor warrants: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Burglary II / FTA Theft II, No Bail / No Matrix; 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), $3,000 Bail; 3) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Theft II / FTA Criminal Citation, $3,000 Bail; 4) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA Forgery I, No Bail; 5) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine (X2), No Bail; 6) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail; 7) Albany Municipal Court, FTC Contempt of Court, No Bail. WAMSELY was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and lodged.
1/17/20 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 16, 2020, at around 3:35 p.m., deputies contacted Garrett Wayne CASPINO, 27, near 1300 SW Philomath Blvd. CASPINO was later arrested, transported and lodged for a Benton County Community Corrections warrant for probation violation.
1/17/20 - FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, January 16, 2020, at about 1:25 P.M., deputies arrested Jeramiah Luis Jones, 30, for Interfering with a peace officer, Trespass II, Felon in possession of restricted weapon and multiple confirmed warrants. Jones was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
1/17/20 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 16, 2020, at about 6:46 pm, deputies stopped Trevor Clayton Clark, 32, on Highway 34 near the Bypass for driving without headlights. Clark was DWS-Violation and had a confirmed cite and release Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for a Parole Violation, $10000 bail. Deputies issued Clark a citation for DWS-Violation. Clark`s backseat passenger was identified as Robert James Larsen, 25. Larsen had a confirmed no bail Linn County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-DUII. Deputies arrested Larsen and transported him to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
1/17/20 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON ORDINANCE VIOLATION.  On January 16, 2020, at around 3:45 p.m., deputies contacted Karly Ann TARVIN, 24, near 1300 SW Philomath Blvd. TARVIN was later arrested, cited and released for a Corvallis Municipal Court warrant for FTA illegal camping.
1/17/20 – WARRANT ARREST.  On January 16, 2020, at 12:03 AM, deputies observed a vehicle parked in Avery Park after hours. A male standing near the vehicle took off running as they pulled into the park. The male was identified as James Ryan Nunn, 34. Nunn had a confirmed Felony Warrant for FTA Possession of Methamphetamine. Nunn surrendered as deputies caught up to him and was taken into custody without incident. Nunn was lodged at the Benton County Jail on the warrant.
1/17/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at about 7:38 am, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on NW Independence Highway near milepost one. The driver was traveling north on NW Independence Highway when he lost control of his vehicle, due to icy conditions. The vehicle came to rest in the southbound ditch. The front passenger received a small laceration on the back of her head.
1/17/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at approximately 1:41 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of SW Airport Avenue and Peterson Road for report of a single vehicle crash into a ditch. They arrived and learned the vehicle had swerved to avoid hitting a deer and drove into a ditch causing damage, which required the vehicle to be towed.
1/17/20 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Wed., Jan. 15, 2020, at approximately 1600, Noah Glenn Burke, 20, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail and indicated that he had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at court. Three valid warrants were confirmed and served for: FTA - DCS MDMA X2, Resisting Arrest Assault IV X2, Unlaw Poss Firearm, bail $20,000; FTA - Resisting Arrest, PCS MDMA, Tampering w/ Evidence, Fail Carry/Pres, bail $3,000; and FTA - Wildlife Violation, Trespass w/ Firearm, bail $3,000. Mr. Bruke was force release due to crowding. A release agreement was signed and forwarded to the Benton County Circuit Court with a new court date.
1/17/20 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 14, 2020, at about 7:00 PM, Terry Pacheco, 60, came to the law enforcement center to turn himself in on a warrant. Deputies confirmed the parole board warrant and walked him to the jail. Case cleared by arrest. Warrant information: Parole violation - Oregon State Parole Board, no bail.
1/17/20 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Tues, Jan. 14, 2020, at approximately 1600, Brady James Maynard, 20, turned himself into the Benton County Jail and indicated he had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at court. A valid warrant was confirmed and served for FTA - Theft III, Bail $3,500. Maynard was released after having signed an agreement to appear at court on a later date.
1/17/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at about 8:15 am, deputies were headed south on NW Independence Highway and came across a vehicle off the roadway. They contacted the driver who said she slid off the roadway due to the icy conditions. The damage to her vehicle appeared to be very minimal and the vehicle was drivable. The driver said she was not injured.
1/15/20 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On January 14, 2020, at about 8:15 a.m., deputies responded to a reported crash with no injuries at Highway 99 near Milepost 97. By the time deputies arrived, Monroe Fire had released the driver, who was uninjured, the vehicle was off the roadway and a tow company was enroute. Deputies moved on to the next crash of many reported during icy conditions.
1/15/20 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On January 14, 2020, at about 8:00 a.m., deputies responded to a crash reported at Beaver Creek Road and Decker Road. The driver was uninjured, the car was out of the roadway, a tow truck was already on the way and there were multiple crashes with injuries pending in the area. Philomath Fire volunteered to stay with the car owner.
1/15/20 - BURGLARY 1 – RESIDENCE; THEFT 1 - FROM BUILDING.  On January 14, 2020, at about 7:00 PM, deputies responded to the 5500 block of Plymouth Drive for the report of a burglary.
1/15/20 – WARRANT ARREST.  ON 1/23/20, FREDERICK, ALEX, 24, TURNED SELF INTO LOBBY. MISSED COURT DATE FOR DUII. WAS GIVEN A NEW COURT DATE AND RELEASED.
1/15/20 – UUV; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, January 13, 2020 at about 3:33 PM, deputies located a stolen Dodge Ram truck driving eastbound on Highway 20 near Garland Nursery. Cody Lee Busch, 24, was driving the stolen truck. Busch attempted to elude deputies and crashed the stolen Dodge truck near milepost 5 on Highway 20. Busch also hit a Chevrolet truck before crashing into the ditch. Cody Busch was taken into custody after he attempted to run from the crashed Dodge truck. Busch was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
1/15/20 - WARRANT ARREST. ON 1/13/20, AT APPROXIMATELY 3:20PM, DRINKARD, PATRICK, 29, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET BECAUSE HE HAD A WARRANT. DEPUTIES LOCATED A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA DUII, BAIL $3000. DRINKARD WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
1/15/20 - FAIL TO APPEAR 2.  On January 13, 2020, at around 12:48 pm, deputies were dispatched to Monroe for a suspicious activity. Staff at Monroe City Hall observed a man pull up in a car and place an unknown item in a storage building on their property. The man drove off and was later seen in his vehicle stuck in a ditch on 6th Street near Orchard Street. Deputies contacted Wayne Exline, 41, was cited and released for a confirmed fail to appear warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Criminal Mischief 3.
1/15/20 - WARRANT ARREST.  ON 1/13/20, AT APPROXIMATELY 10:21 AM, CERVANTES-MIRANDA, JUAN, 20, HAD A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF MARION COUNTY FOR PV-RIOT, NO BAIL. HE WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
1/15/20 - PROBATION VIOLATION.  On Monday, January 13, 2020, at about 8:40 am, deputies were dispatched to Benton County Parole and Probation for a warrant service. They arrived and later arrested Justin Curtis Gilmore, 33, on a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court, for Probation Violation - PCS Methamphetamine. Gilmore was issued a criminal citation and released.
1/15/20 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On January 10, 2020, deputies received a request from the Eugene Police Department to attempt to locate Chad Spenser Roose, 46, as they had probable cause to arrest him for Violating a Restraining Order. On January 12, 2020, deputies located Roose on the 1800 block of SW Allen St and transported him to Lane County Jail and released him to Eugene Police.
1/15/20 - THEFT 1; IDENTITY THEFT.  On January 11, 2020, deputies spoke with a resident by telephone who reported her purse was stolen and her debit card was used several times by Jennifer Grimm, 34, in Newport. Jennifer used the debit card and the complainant’s Driver License to rent a hotel room in Newport. Jennifer also ordered over 800 dollars of goods online with her debit card. Jennifer was arrested on the evening of 1/11/2020 in Linn County by Corvallis Police in a stolen U-Haul van. Deputies contacted Jennifer at the Benton County Jail and issued her a citation for the crimes of Theft 1 and Identity Theft.
1/15/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at around 3:05 PM, Vehicle 1 was backing out on the Lewisburg side of the County Limits Store when it ran into the side of Vehicle 2, causing damage. The drivers worked out a civil compromise. The damage did not appear to be more than $2500. The driver of vehicle 1 did not have auto insurance; deputies issued him a citation for Driving Uninsured.
1/14/20 - THEFT 3; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, January 13, 2020 at about 9:00 A.M., deputies spoke with a resident on the 25000 block of Llewellyn Rd by telephone regarding a theft. She stated on Thursday January 9, someone had stolen her large Republic Services recycling container. She called her trash company and they notified her they did not take the container and a new container would cost her $75 to replace. She was provided a case number for the trash company.
1/14/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, January 11th, 2020, at 6:13 p.m., deputies responded to Hwy 20 / MP 35, Blodgett, Benton County, Oregon regarding a two vehicle crash. Veh #1, a blue 2018 Chevrolet Impala, was traveling west bound on Hwy 20 at a stated speed of 55 MPH. Veh #2, a silver 2005 Nissan Murano, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 at a stated 55 MPH. It was raining heavily, and it was dark outside. At the same time, Veh #1 and Veh #2 negotiated a northern curve in the highway. Veh #1 crossed over the center double yellow line, far enough to cause Veh #2 to swerve right, to the guardrail. Veh #2 could not move over far enough to avoid getting side swiped by Veh #1. Both vehicles had excessive damage and were towed from the scene. The driver of Veh #1 had complaint of soreness from the seatbelt. All parties denied medical attention.
1/14/20 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY); FAIL RETURN SUSP DL.  On Saturday, January 11, 2019, at approximately 3:15am, deputies arrested Nicholas Adam, 39, for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and failure to return a suspended driver`s license near 3rd and Lilly in Corvallis.
1/14/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Friday, January 10, 2020, at approximately 3:30 P.M., Vehicle 1 was driving east on Summit Highway near milepost 17. The driver stated she was driving at approximately 40 miles per hour; however, the speedometer read 70 miles per hour. The vehicle was attempting to negotiate a curve that had a sign indicating 25 miles per hour for the corner. Vehicle 1 left the roadway causing it to crash into a tree. The passenger was injured. The driver was cited for Careless Driving for her speed on a wet road, in curves, after knowing the tires may not be good.
1/14/20 - THEFT 2 - SERVICES SERVICES.  On Thursday, January 9, 2020, at about 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a cold theft on the 2100 block of East Main Street in Monroe. They spoke to the complainant on the telephone who reported John David Caldwell, 26, and Jennifer Grimm, 34, stole $100.00 worth of gas to fill up their moving vehicle. He sent deputies a picture from his security camera.
1/14/20 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On January 9, 2020, at about 12:15 p.m., deputies responded to Jackson Frazier Wetland for a report of illegal camping, trespass and offensive littering. They spoke with a Benton County Parks employee who explained the illegal camps are at the NW corner of the park, and can be accessed from Highway 99W north of Elks Drive, across the railroad tracks, and through the private farm field, which is where the suspects access the camps from. Deputies warned the illegal campers and told them to have everything picked up and be moved out by January 13, 2020.
1/14/20 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On January 9, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Kouns Dr, Albany, OR for a vehicle stuck in a field. The driver had gotten his vehicle stuck in a grass field. The property owner declined to have the driver charged with Trespass and Criminal Mischief charges.
1/14/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at about 7:05 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 near milepost 35. Vehicle 1 was traveling west on Highway 20 near milepost 35 in his 2019 Toyota Tacoma and came across a downed tree in the middle of the road. The driver was unable to stop and ran over the tree causing him to swerve off the road and hit a mailbox and hit another tree with the front of his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed. The mailbox owner was notified.
1/14/20 – DUII.  On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at approximately 8:30 P.M., vehicle 1, driven by Chelsea Leigh Vasche, 32, was driving north on Independence Highway near Metge Avenue. Vehicle 1 left the roadway and rolled on the east side of the road. Vasche was cited for DUII at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
1/14/20 - DUII - .15 THRU .19.  On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at around 7:30, deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 99W near MP100. Jenna Van Beek, 25, was driving northbound and went off the roadway into a field. Deputies conducted a DUII investigation and arrested Van Beek for DUII. Deputies then transported Van Beek to the Sheriff`s Office where she supplied a breath sample that showed her BAC was .18%. Van Beek was issued a citation for DUII and released her to a sober family member.
1/14/20 - BURGLARY 2 - OTHER STRUCTURE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; THEFT 3 - FROM BUILDING. On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at approximately 6:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a man regarding a possible burglary at his property on the 1800 block of Southwest Allen Street. He said he is moving out of the property and had returned home and saw that someone pried open the hasp on his shop. He found out that his Husky Mechanics tool set was stolen from the shop. The set was valued at 99.00 dollars.
1/14/20 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at about 12:30 P.M., deputies assisted with a move-out order on the 200 block of NW 32nd St. Stephen Griffin, 37, arrived to the residence and had three confirmed warrants out of Albany Municipal Court. The warrants were for Failure to Appear - Possession of Restricted Weapon by a Felon x2 and Failure to Appear - Fail to Present. Griffin was cited for his warrants.
1/14/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, January 7, 2020, around 10:15 P.M., deputies arrived on Marys Peak Road near milepost 5 for a single vehicle traffic crash. Vehicle #1 was traveling west on Marys Peak Road negotiating a left hand curve. The driver said a vehicle traveling east had the high beams on which caused him not to see the roadway well. Vehicle #1 had the passenger tires go onto the side of the roadway in mud causing the vehicle to go sideways. Vehicle #1 hit a tree on the passenger side then hit a tree head-on. The driver and his four passengers were not injured.
1/14/20 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, January 5th, 2020, at 4:01 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Granger Ave and NE Hwy 20, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a two vehicle crash. Vehicle #1, a tan 2009 Toyota Camry, was stopped on Granger Ave at the stop sign waiting to turn eastbound on Hwy 20. Vehicle #2, a white 2012 Ford Focus, was traveling westbound on Hwy 20, approaching Granger Ave. Veh #1 proceeded forward to turn left and struck Veh #2 on the right rear wheel, causing Veh #2 to spin 180 degrees and come to a rest. Occupants of Veh #1 were not injured. Occupants in Veh #2 had complaint of pain, but refused transport to the hospital. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
1/14/20 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD).  On January 5, 2020, at 12:26 AM, deputies stopped Joel Swenson, 34, on Hazel Glenn Road near Alsea Deadwood Highway in Alsea. Deputies had probable cause to arrest Swenson for Menacing. They took Swenson into custody and located Methamphetamine on his person. Swenson was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged there for Menacing under and cited for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
1/14/20 - DUII - .08 THRU .14; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, January 5, 2020, at about 2:00 AM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of SE 3rd Street and SW Prairie Avenue, in Corvallis. They were parked on the east side of SE 3rd Street facing west in a marked patrol car when they saw a green Subaru Outback traveling south on SE 3rd Street and initiated a traffic stop for an illegal U-Turn. William Guy Pate, 26, was arrested for DUII and reckless driving. William`s breath sample was a 0.12% BAC.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, December 28, 2019, at about 1:30 AM, deputies were on routine patrol in Takena Landing Park when they saw a male walking in the park. They spoke to Matthew Nill, 36, who they informed was trespassing. Nill was arrested for a warrant through Linn County for Failure to Appear- PCS Meth. Nill was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
12/30/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On December 27, 2019, at 8:13 P.M., deputies stopped Marwan Ahmed ALZABIDI, 23, for failure to drive within his lane at NE Conifer Blvd and NE Cambridge Cir. ALZABIDI was later arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail for a confirmed warrant.
12/30/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM BUILDING.  On Friday, December 27th, 2019, at 4:28 p.m., deputies contacted a resident via telephone on the 26000 block of Foster Rd, Monroe, Benton County, Oregon. He reported within the last 7 to 8 days his Samsung Note 8 cell phone was taken from either his bedroom or living room. He valued the cell phone at $995.00.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Thursday, December 26, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Highway 99W at about milepost 99. They arrived and observed a silver Buick in the ditch on the west side of the road. The driver stated he was traveling northbound and drove the Buick into the ditch because he was not paying attention. The Buick was damaged, but it did not exceed $2,500.00. He said he was uninjured and he needed help getting the Buick out of the ditch. A tow company was dispatched to tow the Buick. Deputies cleared the scene and gave the driver a courtesy ride to his residence.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 25, 2019, at about 8:40 pm, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle in a ditch at the intersection of 53rd and Nash Ave. The driver attempted to turn around in the intersection and dropped his front passenger tire off the asphalt. He arranged for his own tow company to pull the vehicle back onto the road. No damage to vehicle or property.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 25, 2019 at about 4:40 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Fort Hoskins Rd near Luckiamute Rd. Unit 1 was driving down Fort Hoskins Rd when he slid into the west ditch and got stuck. The driver left prior to deputies’ arrival. They contacted the driver later that evening; he was uninjured and no damage was observed on the vehicle. He stated he would pull the truck out of the ditch in the morning.
12/30/19 - DUII - .08 THRU .14; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On December 21, 2019 at approximately 11:35PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of Independence Hwy and Ryals Ave for a crash. Unit 1 had driven into the ditch. The driver was slurring his words when he spoke. He had bloodshot eyes and droopy eyelids. He consented to field sobriety tests. Deputies arrested Joshua WARD for DUII and Reckless Driving. WARD consented to a breath test. WARD`s blood alcohol content was 0.09%. WARD was released to a sober family member.
12/30/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Sunday, December 15, 2019, at about 3:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of NW Lewisburg Ave. for an argument. Deputies arrested Kyle Leber, 23, for harassment and transported him to the Benton County Jail for lodging.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 14, 2019, at about 11:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to a crash at Powers Ave and Oak Grove Road where they located a red 2001 Ford Explorer crashed into a fence and power pole. The driver had been transported to Albany ER where he was interviewed. The property owners were contacted, PPL responded to assess the damage and the vehicle was towed.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER INJURY.  On December 11, 2019, at about 6:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to SW Airport Avenue about milepost 2 for a two vehicle traffic crash. Unit 1 crashed into Unit 2 when she was either turning left or making a U-turn to the left depending on who you spoke with. Two residents mailboxes were damaged from the crash, and the driver of Unit 2 reported complaint of pain to her chest and side area from the crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
12/30/19 - BURGLARY 1.  On December 24, 2019, deputies contacted a resident at the lobby of the Sheriff`s Office who came to the office to report a burglary that occurred at his house on 12/23/19. He lives on the 1600 block of NW Lewisburg Drive in Corvallis. Someone forced open his garage door then entered his house through an unlocked entry door. His wife found that her wedding band ring and a set of older hearing aids were taken during the burglary. He has no suspect information at this time.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, around 1:35 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle at 8th Street and Applegate Street for a traffic violation. They arrested William Spann, 49, on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released. Deputies also arrested Amy Koplin, 35, on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant. Koplin was issued a criminal citation and released.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, around 12:10 A.M., deputies arrested John David Caldwell, 26, in a parking lot on the 2700 block of SW 53rd Street, on a confirmed Benton County Circuit court warrant for Failure to Appear- Harassment. Caldwell was issued a criminal citation and released.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, December 22, 2019, around 11:45 P.M., deputies arrested Jack Marion Matheny, 33, on three Polk County Circuit Court warrants on Highway 20 near milepost 39. Matheny was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged.
12/30/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE.  On Sunday, December 22, 2019, at around 8:00 PM, deputies spoke with a resident by phone about someone stealing his fishing gear out of the back of a vehicle he was in at the Alsea Fish Hatchery earlier that day. He said it was a brown backpack with 2 clear plastic containers inside with salmon/steelhead fishing gear inside worth around $800.00 in total. The gear was under an unlocked tonneau cover in the parking lot. There is no suspect information at this time.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, December 20, 2019, at approximately 11pm, deputies arrested Bobby Loftis, 45, for numerous warrants on the 100 block of E Fall Creek Road in Alsea. Deputies transported him to jail without incident.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, December 20, 2019, at about 3:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Benton County Parole and Probation for a warrant service. They arrived and spoke with a Probation Deputy, who advised his client, Joseph Lee Shores, 47, had two warrants. Deputies confirmed the warrants and walked Shores to the jail where he was later released.
12/30/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; DUII – DRUGS; WARRANT ARREST.  On December 20, 2019, at about 2:20 PM, deputies stopped Rebel Tester, 32, on SW 3rd Street near SW Twin Oaks in Corvallis for Failure to Signal Turn, Failure to Drive within Lane, and Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle. Tester was taken into custody on a Felony Probation Violation Warrant out of Benton County, Warrant. Tester was additionally charged for DUII-Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Tester refused to consent to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and Refused a Urine Tests. Tester was Driving While Suspended Violation and Driving Uninsured. Tester was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On December 19, 2019, at about 3:52 pm, Unit 1 was eastbound on Coon Rd near MP 1. The driver stated she was going about 50 mph entering the curves when she began hydroplaning and lost control. Unit 1 entered the south ditch and stuck several trees. The driver sustained minor injuries to her arms. Her vehicle was towed from the scene due to damages.
12/30/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; DWS MIS; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at about 12:35 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near milepost 73 for an injury crash. Unit 1 had an apparent medical issue while traveling southbound on Highway 99W and crashed into a tree off the west side of the road causing significant damage to his vehicle, a tree and fence. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and later cited for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor, Failure to return a suspended license and Failure to install an IID.
12/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at about 9:07 am, deputies dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Bellfountain Road near Chapel Drive. Unit one was traveling north on Bellfountain Road. Unit one lost control of the vehicle when sliding on ice. Unit one left the roadway on the westbound side of the roadway. Unit one went through a fence causing damage to the fencing. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance for facial injuries sustained in the crash.
12/30/19 - THEFT 1; FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD – MISD.  On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at about 2:40 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident regarding a fraud. Last night she received a phone call from a man identifying himself as an amazon employee. This man told her she was charged $799 twice for two Apple iPhone on accident and in order to be reimbursed, she needed to setup Apple Pay with her debit card number. She downloaded an app, which allowed this person to mirror her screen and walk her through the process. There were multiple transactions from her savings to her checking account. Ultimately, she had $1,598 stolen from her bank account.
12/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at about 12:20 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black 2003 Dodge Dakota on Hwy 99W, near West Ingram Island Road for a window tint violation. They spoke to the driver, Billy Wayne Hatch JR, 42, who told them his license was suspend. Billy was arrested for his Lebanon Municipal Court warrant and was issued a citation and released.
12/30/19 - DUII - .20 OR ABOVE; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, December 15, 2019, at about 12:40 AM, deputies responded to a crash on Highway 99W near Guerber Lane, near Monroe. The driver, Joseph GOODWIN, 21, was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving. GOODWIN`s breath sample resulted in a 0.24 %BAC.
12/19/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at approximately 3:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 6600 block of Southwest Reservoir Avenue for someone trespassing on the property. They arrived and spoke with a resident who said she saw a male in red and black flannel, walk one direction on the property, then walk to the other side at the front of the property, taking photos of the property prior to waking east on the railroad tracks. Deputies drove through the area, but could not find anyone. The resident said she wanted the person arrested if deputies found them.
12/19/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at about 7:50 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a crash near Springhill Dr. and Buena Vista. Upon arrival, the vehicle was unoccupied. Later, the vehicle owner arrived and said his stepson was driving the vehicle. He said he was traveling south on Buena Vista and due to the fog and road conditions, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the ditch. The vehicle was towed and the driver reported no injuries.
12/19/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; PARAPHERNALIA; POSS HEROIN.  On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, around 1:15 A.M., deputies stopped a silver Buick on Linden Avenue near Fairlawn Street for a traffic violation. Joshua Gilmore, 24, was arrested for PCS Heroin and Meth. Angelica Cogurik, 22, was arrested by CPD Officer Frahm on Benton County warrants.
12/19/19 - SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE.  On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at around 6:45 PM, deputies arrived to a vehicle in the ditch. The driver was attempting to turn west onto NE Conifer Blvd., from NE Conser Dr. She did not turn fast enough and drove off the roadway getting stuck in the ditch. A tow company arrived and pulled the vehicle from the ditch. She drove her vehicle from the scene.
12/19/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On December 17, 2019, deputies I spoke with a resident on the telephone who owns a 5 acre undeveloped parcel of land on far west corner of Water Lane near Alpine. On 12/08/19 he captured photographs of young (30`s age) couple on his property pulling a wagon possibly in route to his neighbor`s land then returning with a cut Christmas tree. He did not know the identity of the persons pulling the wagon. All but one photo was clear to make out detail. One was a dark haired female wearing jeans and a gray coat. He wanted to report the incident as a trespass.
12/19/19 - DUII – DRUGS.  On December 15, 2019, at 3:35 AM, deputies stopped Anthony Owen, 30, on 5th Street near Harrison Boulevard in Corvallis for no plate light and later arrested Owen for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Owen was evaluated by a Certified Drug Recognition Expert and consented to a urine test. Owen was cited and released to a sober person at his residence.
12/19/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 3, 2019, at around 06:27 am, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Maxfield Creek Road near the Polk County Line. Deputies found a 2005 Toyota Tacoma pick up that appeared to have slid off the roadway and into the shoulder. No one was around the pickup. The owner never contacted the Sheriff`s Office.
12/19/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On November 20, 2019, at around 01:44 am, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash on the 1600 block of NW Lewisburg Drive in Corvallis. The driver did not stop at the intersection of NW Lewisburg Avenue and NW Crescent Valley Drive. She crashed into the front yard of the property striking a tree damaging her 2000 BMW 323i car. She was not injured. Her parents arrived later and removed the damaged car with personal vehicles.
12/18/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On December 15, 2019, at about 11:50 PM, deputies stopped a pick-up truck on Highway 34 near milepost 3 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, RICKY LEE BIAS, 54, had an outstanding Warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court for Probation Violation - P.C.S. II (Methamphetamine). At the request of the Linn County Jail, BIAS was cited and released in the field.
12/18/19 - THEFT 2.  On Saturday, December 7, 2019, at around 6:00 PM, deputies spoke with a man by phone because he was in Eugene, about a tailgate from his 2005 Dodge Pickup that has been stolen while parked on his property in Monroe. He remembered seeing it a few weeks before this, but the pickup is parked behind his barn. He went to use it this day and noticed the tailgate was missing. He did not have any suspect information.
12/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, December 16, 2019, at about 8:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 and Steele Ave. for a crash. Driver 1 was following too closely in her 2003 Chevrolet Silverado and rear-ended driver 2, who was operating a 2005 Dodge Neon, which sustained moderate rear-end damage. No injuries reported. Neither vehicle towed.
12/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, December 15, 2019, at about 12:50 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 99W near Alpine Cutoff Road for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, BRIAN CHRISTOPHER STEWART, 18, had an outstanding Linn County Circuit Court Warrant for Larceny/Theft I. STEWART was issued a citation in the field and released.
12/17/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER.  On Saturday, December 14, 2019, at about 9:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Territorial Hwy at milepost 1, Monroe. The passenger, CHRISTOPHER DALE WOLF, 38, was arrested for failing to Register as a Sex Offender. WOLF was cited and released in the field.
12/17/19 - DUII - .08 THRU .14.  On Saturday, December 14, 2019, at approximately 2am, deputies arrested Chevy Snyder, 25, for driving under the influence near SE 7th Avenue and Madison Street in Linn County, Albany.
12/17/19 - MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR; FURNISH LIQUOR MINOR/INTOX PERSON – FURNISH.  On December 13, 2019, at 10:11 PM, deputies responded to the 2300 block of NW Beaumont Lane in Albany for a MIP Party. Upon arrival, deputies stopped a vehicle leaving the residence. The driver was arrested for DUII. The front seat passenger, Mara Adams, 19, was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Deputies then contacted the people responsible for the party, who admitted minors were consuming alcohol at the party. Dylan Thomas Robison, 20, Acacia McGinty, 20, and Tabitha Sanders, 19, were all cited for Furnishing Alcohol to Minors.
12/17/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII – UNDETERMINED.  On Friday, December 13, 2019, at approximately 11:30pm, deputies stopped Alex Sherrod, 20, near NW Springhill and NW Beaumont. Deputies arrested Sherrod for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless endangering.
12/17/19 - PROBATION VIOLATION.  On Friday, December 13, 2019, at about 7:15 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 99W near the Lane County line (milepost #107) for a traffic violation. The driver, RICHARD ALLEN GOODEVE, 54, was arrested at the request of Lane County Parole and Probation and transported to the Lane County Jail where he was lodged.
12/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Friday, December 13, 2019, at about 7:10 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Highway 99W about milepost 98. They arrived and observed a red 2005 Honda Civic with heavy rear end damage. The driver stated a white 2019 Jeep Compass with a temporary tag rear-ended her. The driver of the Compass and the complainant exchanged information. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
12/17/19 - THEFT 3.  On Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 8:06 p.m., deputies contacted an Adair Village resident via telephone. The resident reported she had a strand of Christmas lights stolen from her fence. This took place sometime between 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. on this day. Unknown suspect.
12/17/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE.  On Thursday, December 12, 2019, at about 11:00 A.M., deputies I spoke with a resident on the 3900 block of NW Alder Ave, Albany.  She saw a female driving a black Honda with a California license plate get out and walk up to houses with packages in her hands. She stated it looked odd, and the female would carry packages up to a residence, but also carry packages back to her car. The resident checked her neighbor`s house and saw they had a package still on their front porch. The vehicle was gone before deputies arrived.
12/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  Vehicle #1 was driving eastbound on Airport Road near milepost 3. The driver swerved to avoid crows flying across the roadway. Vehicle #1 drove into the east side ditch and rolled onto its side. The driver stated he was not injured. The vehicle was towed.
12/17/19 - BURGLARY 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, December 9, 2019, at about 1:15 P.M., deputies arrived to the 3600 block of SW 53rd St. for a burglary. The resident told them sometime over the last few days, someone had attempted to break into her house, but nothing was missing.
12/17/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII - BAC TEST REFUSED.  On December 6, 2019, at about 6:10 pm, deputies stopped Marcel Jon Charton, 35, near Harrison and 25th St in Corvallis. Deputies determined Charton was impaired and arrested him for DUII. Charton refused a breath test and was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood draw. Charton was lodged in the Benton County Jail for DUII and Reckless Endangering.
12/13/19 – THEFT 3.  On December 11, 2019, at about 5:00 pm, a resident reported a theft of $8 from her farm stand located on NW Highway 20. She described the suspect as a 30-yea- old white male with a thin build and shoulder length light colored hair. The suspect left the area in a light colored 4-dr sedan. No further info available.
12/13/19 – IDENTITY THEFT.  On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies spoke with a victim in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center. He stated he received a notice from a collections company for a Direct TV account which owed $1,200 dollars. He stated his wallet and Social Security card were stolen awhile back, but he did not report it because he was tired of reporting thefts from his vehicle. Deputies gave him a booklet with resources for Identity Theft victims.
12/12/19 - BCSO - ANIMAL OTHER.  On December 10, 2019 at around 9 am, deputies were dispatched to the Camp Adair Road area for an injured owl. A woman was driving and saw an owl on the shoulder flailing around on the ground. She thought the animal had been shot. Deputies arrived and did not see any evidence that the animal had been shot. The owl appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and its wing was broken. Deputies believe the owl is an adult Barred Owl. Animal Control transported the injured owl to Chintimini Wildlife Center.
12/12/19 – DUII.  On December 10, 2019, at about 6:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to Marys River Rd between milepost 2 and 3 for a single vehicle traffic crash into a telephone pole. They subsequently arrested the driver, Cindy Morgan, 60, for DUII. Morgan provided a BAC sample of .13%.
12/12/19 - DUII - .20 OR ABOVE; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 6, 2019 at about 8:42 pm, I was dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Highway 99w near Smith Loop. Stuart Douglas Crane, 24, was southbound on HWY 99W when he turned into the ditch near Smith Loop. Deputies determined Crane was impaired and arrested him for DUII. His vehicle was towed from the scene which sustained minimal damage. Deputies transported Crane to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office where his BAC was found to be .22%.
12/12/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT.  On December 4, 2019 at about 7:26 pm, a caller reported John David Caldwell, 26, was at her residence on Gellatly Way, Philomath. Dispatch confirmed Caldwell had a release agreement from the Benton County Jail preventing him from contacting her. Caldwell was arrested for Violation of the Release Agreement and PCS-Meth.
12/11/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On December 8, 2019, at about 8:00 PM, deputies responded to Highway 20 and Granger Ave for a two-car motor vehicle crash.
12/11/19 - MISSING PERSON.  On Monday, December 9, 2019, at approximately 9:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 32000 block of Fern Road for report of a missing elderly man. Deputies obtained information that the man was carrying a cellular phone but was not answering it. A ping was obtained on the phone’s location due to falling temperatures and unknown whereabouts. Deputies located the man about a half mile away in a field after obtaining general GPS coordinates. Deputies returned him to his residence where his wife took over care of him.
12/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  ON 12/9/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 1435, GRADBERG, SHERRI, 51, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET BECAUSE SHE HAD CONFIRMED WARRANTS FOR WARRANTS FTA PCS METH. GRADBERG WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
12/10/19 - VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT.  On Monday, December 9, 2019, at about 11:30 A.M., deputies arrested John Ruben Tucker, 46, for violating a No Contact Release Agreement. John was located at the tree farm near the 4515 West Hills Rd.  John was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
12/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, December 9, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies located a male camping in a tree farm near 4515 West Wills Rd. They spoke to Gregory Allen Brunty, 50, who was camping in the tree farm and had four confirmed warrants for his arrest. Deputies transported Gregory to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and released.
12/10/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, December 2, 2019, at about 5:55 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Bellfountain Road, near Chapel Drive, near Philomath. They arrived to find Car 1 off the roadway on the east side of Bellfountain Road, rolling down the embankment on to its roof. Car 1 was traveling north when the driver stated he started to slide, causing the car to leave the roadway overturning. The roadway was very icy and the driver stated he slowed down while driving through a corner. The driver was uninjured and Car 1 was towed to an unknown destination.
12/9/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Sunday, December 8th, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 24000 block of Evergreen Rd, Philomath, Benton County, Oregon in regards to a 911 hang-up call. Dispatch could hear people talking about drugs. Deputies contacted the caller, who consented to a search of his backpack. Deputies located two meth pipes with small amount of residue, three broken pieces of glass from meth pipes, and tin foil with burn marks. The items were seized for destruction and his Probation Officer was advised.
12/9/19 – DUII - .15 THRU .19.  On December 8, 2019, at about 1:18 AM, deputies stopped Russell Brown, 43, on Highway 20 near milepost 2 in Corvallis for Speeding and Failure to Drive within Lane. They later arrested Brown for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Brown`s blood alcohol content was .18%.
12/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On December 6, 2019, deputies arrested RACHEL ROSEANN HIGSEN, 39, on a confirmed Linn County warrant after a traffic stop on Plymouth Road near Bellfountain Road.
12/9/19 - SEARCH AND RESCUE-NOT MISSING.  On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at 5:12 p.m., a man reported he got lost while hiking west of Oak Creek Dr, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. Over the next several hours, deputies located the man and transported him back to his vehicle. He did not need medical attention.
12/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at approximately 11:57 P.M., deputies stopped WILLIAM K SAMPLES, 43, in the area of Highway 20 and Garrett Lane. WILLIAM had an active, confirmed warrant out of Monmouth Municipal Court for FTA DUII. Benton County Jail provided a court date for WILLIAM and deputies released him at the scene with a criminal citation to appear.
12/6/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, December 5, 2019, at approximately 11:07 P.M., deputies stopped JAMES ALBERT THOMPSON, 48, on Main St/14th St, Philomath, for a moving violation and later arrested him for a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Justice Court. JAMES was released with a criminal citation.
12/6/19 - UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Thursday, December 12, 2019, at about 12:15 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident by phone who reported sometime between December 3, 2019 and December 4, 2019, someone stole 3 items out of her Jeep parked in her driveway on the 2300 block of SE Kiger Island Drive. Items taken were $10 cash, $100 Leatherman tool, and a $20 phone charger.
12/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, around 1:00 A.M., deputies located a black Lexus 350 on the south side ditch of Highway 34 near Ireland Drive. The driver was attempting to turn east onto Highway 34 from the Highway 34 bypass. He said he accelerated quickly and lost control going into the ditch. He was not injured and the Lexus was not damaged but stuck. A towing company arrived and towed the Lexus from the ditch. He was then able to drive the Lexus from the scene.
12/6/19 - STALKING – MISD; DUII – DRUGS; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On December 3, 2019, at about 10:00 p.m., deputies arrested Brian Oliver Burkey, 42, for DUII, Stalking and Criminal Trespass II. He was transported to Benton County Jail.
12/6/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at about 11:45 A.M., deputies were traveling on 3rd Street near Cummings Avenue when they observed two females crossing the road without a crosswalk and impeding traffic. They contacted both females and identified Thomas Ashley Amber Montgomery, 34, who had a confirmed warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court. Montgomery was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
12/5/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, December 4, 2019, at approximately 8:33 P.M., vehicle 1 was driving west on Airport Avenue near milepost three when the vehicle lost control and drove into a ditch. The driver over corrected multiple times and rolled the vehicle to the south side of Airport Avenue.
12/5/19 - THEFT 1.  On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, deputies spoke with a resident on the 23000 block of Hwy 34, Philomath, who stated for the past week, someone stole her newspapers. She stated she had contacted the business to ensure she did not have an outstanding bill. She stated the theft occurs between sometime early in the morning and 11 A.M. when she goes to get her paper.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at about 7:40 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Fern Rd. and Powder House Rd. for a single vehicle crash. The driver was traveling north on Fern Rd., lost control of her red 2005 Ford Mustang on ice and crashed the front end of her vehicle into the ditch, spinning 180 degrees and coming to a stop with the rear end of her vehicle in the ditch. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and the vehicle was towed.
12/4/19 - DUII - .20 OR ABOVE; RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at about 5:13 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash at Robison Road and Military Road, near Corvallis. Car 1 was driving North on Military Road and failed to negotiate a turn at the T-intersection of Military Road and Robison Road. Car 1 drove straight through the intersection, hitting a power pole stopping the vehicle. Car 1’s driver, Randall Tipsword, 19, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and later arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
12/4/19 - DUII - .15 THRU .19.  On December 1, 2019, at around 12:00 A.M., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Airport Ave/SW Lowe St. Walker Lewis TRASK, 29, was later arrested, cited and released for DUII. He provided a breath sample of 0.16%.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at approximately 12:15am, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash near Highway 20 and Mile Post 43.
12/4/19 - DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2.  On November 29, 2019, at about 8:36 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 26000 block of Bennett Blvd, Monroe. A resident reported loud fireworks being shot off several times over the past two weeks. Deputies spoke with the resident who admitted to shooting off areal fireworks that evening. Deputies explained the fireworks were illegal and upsetting neighbors and told her if she continued she would be cited for Disorderly Conduct.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at about 6:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to 3rd St. and Corliss Ave. for a vehicle in a ditch. Upon arrival, deputies observed a 2019 Lincoln MKT in the ditch on the eastside of Highway 99W. The driver drove into the ditch as she was turning into a driveway. A tow company arrived and assisted in removing the vehicle from the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at about 4:59 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 and NE Independence Hwy for a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the driver of Unit one. Unit one was headed west on Highway 20. Unit two attempted to make a left turn from NE Independence Hwy onto Hwy 20. Unit one was unable to avoid colliding with unit two. The driver of unit two believed she had enough room to make the left turn but was struck by unit one.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at about 12:30 P.M., Vehicle #1 was turning left from Independence Highway onto Highway 20. Vehicle #2 was driving east on Highway 20. Vehicle #1 pulled out and collided with the side of Vehicle #2. No injuries were reported.
12/4/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM – TRESPASS.  On Sunday, November 24, 2019, at about 5:40 P.M., deputies spoke with a resident by telephone.  He said his neighbor told him two males had recently trespassed on his property. The males were driving a white Toyota Tacoma. No further description.
12/4/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII - .08 THRU .14; RECKLESS DRIVING. On Saturday, November 23, 2019, at about 1:05 A.M., a deputy heard another deputy announce on the radio he was at a possible DUII crash on 6th Street near Jackson Avenue. The driver, Dharma Leria Mirza, 26, was arrested for DUII, Reckless Endangering, and Reckless Driving after deputies determined she was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Depties took Mirza to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office, where she registered a blood alcohol content of .13%. Deputies issued Mirza criminal citations for DUII, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering. Mirza`s 2003 Buick Century was towed due to the traffic hazard. Mirza was released to a sober friend.
12/4/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On November 22, 2019, deputies responded to a single vehicle crash at Evergreen Road and Walden Lane. The driver took the corner too quickly and drove off the roadway into a ditch. The vehicle was towed.
12/3/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Saturday, November 16, 2019, at about 4:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress on the 15000 block of Lobster Valley Road. They arrived and spoke with the owner of the property who advised that Ashley Chantell Ollendorf, 33, was at an abandoned house on her property. After an investigation, deputies arrested Ollendorf for Criminal Trespass.  Ollendorf was cited at the scene and given a courtesy transport to her residence.
12/2/19 – PROSTITUTION.  On November 26, 2019, at around 6:00 P.M., deputies contacted Dezmeree Amparo ACOSTA, 33, on the 2500 block of Newton Street, Philomath, after responding to a prostitution advertisement they posted. ACOSTA was later cited and released for Prostitution.
12/2/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On November 26, 2019, at about 12:00 PM, deputies stopped and arrest Rikki Phillips, 37, for an outstanding Lane County Circuit court warrant at NW Kings Blvd and NW Professional Drive.
12/2/19 - ABANDONED VEHICLE.  On November 22, 2019, deputies posted a 24-hour tow notice on a green Honda CRV.  The vehicle was parked on City of Corvallis property and had not moved in several days. Deputies returned on November 26, 2019, to see that it had not been moved. Deputies requested that a tow company remove the vehicle and they impounded it at their yard.
12/2/19 - BURGLARY 1.  On Monday, November 25, 2019, at about 12:40 P.M., deputies spoke to a resident in the lobby of the law enforcement center. She stated someone broke into an abandoned residence on the 6600 block of SW West Hills Road. She stated someone was able to unlock the sliding door. She found a needle, some pills, sleeping bags and documents inside the residence. She stated she will dispose of the property and has re-secured the sliding door.
12/2/19 – DUII .15 THRU .19; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, November 24, 2019, at about 8:40 P.M., deputies stopped a 2005 Nissan Armada for a traffic violation and later arrested the driver, Pablo Martinez Pacheco, 48, for DUII and Reckless Driving after they determined he was intoxicated and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Martinez Pacheco had a BAC of .16% and was released to a sober friend.
12/2/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 – VANDALISM.  On Friday, November 1, 2019, deputies received a call from an employee with the Oregon State School of Forestry. He wanted to report some unknown person(s) removed the 10`X10` black polyethylene plastic sheeting off of their slash piles that they paid over $4,000.00 to have covered. He told me that this was done between October 9, 2019 and October 30, 2019.
11/27/19 - THEFT 2.  On Monday, November 25, 2019, at about 2:30 P.M., deputies spoke to a resident by phone who stated on Friday, November 22, 2019 and Saturday, November 23, 2019, someone stole two packages valued at $100. Marlene stated the packages were left by the mailboxes near Greasy Creek Road. Marlene stated the items taken were two sets of vacuum bags, Velcro, sea salt and pomegranate molasses.
11/27/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER INJURY.  On Monday, November 25, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., five vehicles were involved in a crash at Highway 20 near Norton Creek Road. ODOT responded and controlled traffic. Three cars and one semi-truck were towed from the scene. Two drivers were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
11/27/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, November 14, 2019, at about 7:15 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Highway 99W near Tampico Road. They arrived and were unable to locate the driver, but observed a yellow Volkswagen Bug on the west side of Highway 99W in the ditch. Deputies drove through Adair Village and could not locate the driver. They then went back to the vehicle and noticed a light colored truck parked at the scene and the Volkswagen appeared to be moved. Deputies spoke to the driver of the truck and he denied any involvement. The Volkswagen was towed due to a traffic hazard. On Friday, November 15, 2019, deputies spoke with the driver of the Volkswagen and determined there was no crime.
11/27/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER; WARRANT ARREST; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at approximately 3:23 PM, deputies contacted RIKKI PHILLIPS, 37, behind a business on 9th Street in Corvallis. PHILLIPS was issued criminal citations with court dates in lieu of custody for two confirmed misdemeanor warrants as well as the crime(s) of Failure to Report as a Sex Offender (Felony) and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor).
11/26/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, November 23, 2019, at about 5:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle near SW 53rd Street and SW Reservoir Avenue, near Corvallis. They arrived to find a red Ford Focus parked partially in the roadway. Deputies contacted the two occupants and informed them the reason they were speaking with them. Both parties provided deputies with their Identification Cards. Santana Rachel Lewis, 23, was the passenger in the Ford and Daniel Dean Hopkins, 31, was the driver. Both Santana and Daniel had warrants for Criminal Trespass II. Deputies arrested them and they were transported to the Benton County Jail.
11/26/19 - PERSON < 21 POSSESSING / CONSUMING MARIJUANA.  On Thursday, November 21, 2019, at about 8:20 P.M., deputies were patrolling near 2600 Michelle Drive in Corvallis when they observed a Toyota Four Runner parked with four occupants. They contacted the driver and could smell an odor of marijuana and the driver informed there was a "joint" in the car. The driver retrieved the marijuana and deputies warned him for the minor in possession of marijuana.
11/26/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at about 4:25 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 180 near Milepost 15 for a non-injury crash. They arrived and observed a white Volkswagen Passat on the north side of the road. The Passat was over the bridge and nose down in the ditch. The driver of the vehicle self-extricated and was evaluated by medics.
11/26/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On November 18, 2019, deputies took a report from a resident of Monroe, who reported an unknown suspect(s) entered her vehicle overnight and stole her wallet. She said her wallet was a pink `Betsy Johnson` wallet with pink bow and gold trim valued at $25. She said she had $150 cash, ID cards, Cash Card, Checks, and her son’s Social Security card as well as miscellaneous photos and her BiMart card. She said her vehicle had been left unlocked. Deputies suggested to her ways she could flag her credit accounts to prevent fraud. She said she had contacted her banks and the people who had written her the checks.
11/25/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Friday, November 22, 2019, around 4:45 A.M., deputies arrested Gay Bethell, 68, on the 24000 block of Gellatly Way for a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-Frequenting a place where controlled substance are used. A criminal citation was issued to Bethell to appear at the Linn County Circuit Court.
11/25/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On November 22, 2019, deputies arrested ERICA MARIE VILLA, 34, for fail to carry/present a driver’s license and possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on 8th Street near Main Street in Philomath. She also had a confirmed felony warrant out of Linn County. Villa was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and released the same day.
11/25/19 - THEFT 3.  On November 21, 2019, at about 1:45 p.m., a resident reported a theft of $5.00 from the 6900 block of NW Highway 20. She said a blue sedan pulled up to a self-serve stand and took 5, $1.00 bills. No suspect information.
11/25/19 - CUT/TRANSPORT FOREST PRODUCT.  On Saturday, November 16, 2019, at approximately 2:30 PM, deputies arrested Miriano Martin Hernandez, 27, for Unlawful Cut and Transport of Minor Forest Products. Hernandez and four others were picking Salal on BLM off Tobe Creek Road on BLM Road 15-7-6.2. Hernandez was cited and released in the field. The Salal was seized and sold to a local flower shop and a check was sent to the Bureau of Land Management.
11/22/19 - DWS MIS.  On November 21, 2019, at about 12:05 A.M., deputies observed a black 2012 Chrysler 200 traveling east on Van Buren Ave near 1st St. They activated a forward facing radar and it read 42 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. Deputies stopped the Chrysler on the Highway 34 Bypass and contacted the driver. Deputies recognized the driver as Jacob Myers, 24. Dispatch advised Myers was Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Deputies cited Myers for DWS Misdemeanor.
11/21/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On November 20, 2019, at about 11:20 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of 26688 Sulphur Springs road for a person locked behind an OSU property gate with their vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a man who just moved here from out of state and was trying to get to McColloch Peak. He followed his GPS, which took him behind the open OSU gate. This gate was marked, and stated authorized vehicles only and it could be locked at any time. The man drove past the gate for about 1/4 mile, realized he may be somewhere he should not be, turned around and tried to get back out. An OSU Forestry staff member, who happened to drive by with a key, let the man and his vehicle out. Deputies warned him about trespassing and going behind gates that may be locked.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at about 12:20 A.M., deputies observed a car in a parking lot off Tyler Ave. The female occupant, later identified as Wendy Dodge, 48, had a confirmed Linn County Circuit Court warrant for Contempt of Court. Wendy was cited for her warrant.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 19, 2019, at about 12:05 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Dorsey Lane off Highway 36 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger of the vehicle, DONALD DWAYNE CALHOUN, 20, had an outstanding Benton County Circuit Court Warrant for F.T.A.- False Information to a Peace Officer. CALHOUN was issued a citation in the field and cited and released.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at about 9:24 pm, deputies were traveling north on Springhill Drive near milepost 3. They observed a vehicle in a pull out, next to a field, on the east side of the road. Craig Snyder, 41, was arrested for four confirmed warrants and transported to the Linn County Jail.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at about 11:30 P.M., deputies observed Bruce Gomez, 41, run in front of their patrol vehicle near 3rd St and Twin Oaks Circle. Deputies ran Bruce through dispatch and they advised Bruce had a confirmed cite and release warrant for DUII out of Benton County Circuit Court. Deputies stopped Bruce near the parking lot of a local business and told him he had a warrant. Bruce was released with a citation for his warrant.
11/21/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at about 3:35 P.M., deputies responded to a crash where Vehicle #2 was driving south on 53rd Street and began to brake due to traffic. Vehicle #1 was behind Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 attempted to slow down but was unable to stop. Vehicle #1 attempted to avoid the collision by driving over the curb to the right, but collided with the rear passenger side of Vehicle #2. Neither driver reported injuries. Vehicle #2 was towed.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On November 19, 2019, at about 11:51 a.m., while working dayshift patrol, deputies stopped ISAAC JAMES, 21, for multiple traffic violations on Independence Highway near NW Ryals Avenue. Deputies issued JAMES a citation for driving uninsured, and cited and released him on the Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTA (Keeping Junk) with a $2650.00 bail.
11/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at about 9:45 A.M., deputies arrested James Robert Sanney, 56, for a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court for DUII, inside the Benton County Courthouse. James was issued a citation for DUII and released.
11/21/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER; WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, November 18, 2019, at about 11:10 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of Highway 99W near milepost 103. A pickup truck passed driving southbound on Highway 99W with a white light to the rear of the vehicle. Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the area of Highway 99W near milepost 106. Deputies arrested the driver, Jack Baker, 35, for his Parole Board warrant and Failure to register as a Sex Offender. WARRANT INFO: Oregon State Parole Board CHARGE: Parole Violation, BAIL: No Bail.
11/21/19 – SUSPICIOUS SUBJECTS.  On Monday, November 18, 2019, at about 6:00 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of Highway 99W near milepost 97 when a vehicle passed southbound with a broken taillight. Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the area of Highway 99W and Alpine Rd. The driver, Thomas Barr, 58, was arrested for his Junction City Municipal Court Warrant and transported to the Junction City Police Department.  WARRANT INFO: Junction City Municipal Court CHARGE: FTA II/ Criminal Mischief II, BAIL: $950.00.
11/21/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, November 18, 2019, at about 8:00 am, deputies were dispatched to Gerber Lane for a report of a vehicle crashed in the ditch. They arrived and later arrested Zachary Luke Tyler, 40, for Criminal Trespass II and Criminal Mischief III. Tyler was cited and released at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office.
11/21/19 - PROPERTY, FOUND.  On November 16, 2019, at about 7:15 a.m., while deputies were standing at 5th and Jackson assisting another deputy, a man came up, handed them a black purse and told them he found it on the sidewalk and didn’t know who it belonged to. Deputies later inventoried it and found a meth pipe, a dirty hypodermic needle and a wallet full of used cigarettes inside with some makeup. Deputies placed it into evidence.
11/21/19 - THEFT 3 – OTHER.  On November 12, 2019, at about 2:09 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4700 block of SE Boonville Drive, Corvallis for an attempted theft of a Fed Ex package. An unknown black male driving a black Nissan pickup attempted to steal the resident’s package being delivered by Fed Ex to her address. The suspect contacted the delivery person away from the address and asked for her package, but the driver refused to give it to him.
11/21/19 - ASSAULT 4.  On November 8, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Jail for an assault. An inmate had a scrape on his arm and a small mark on his neck but declined to be interviewed for a criminal investigation. His cellmate was the other involved person. The cellmate was not interviewed since the victim declined to cooperate, but he was informed that should he change his mind, this could result in criminal charges. They were housed separately as a result of this incident.
11/18/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, November 16, 2019, at approximately 3:20 P.M., Vehicle 1 was driving south on Springhill Drive near milepost 4. The vehicle was negotiating a curve, lost control, and over-corrected, causing it to drive off the roadway to the west and rolling over. The driver was cited for Driving Uninsured.
11/18/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Thursday, November 7, 2019, at about 5:24 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 8600 block of NW Peavy Arboretum for a report of a person driving a motorcycle behind a locked gate. The driver, Mitchell Bielenberg, 26, was cited for Trespassing in the second degree.
11/18/19 - MAIL THEFT.  On Friday, November 15, 2019, at about 2:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak to a resident on the 2300 block of NE Merloy Ave on the telephone about a possible fraud. She stated a check she wrote to a business was deposited to a Chase Bank account. She stated the check was probably taken out of her mailbox and it was written for $111.00. She said the fraud department at her bank directed her to file a police report. No suspect information.
11/15/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 14, 2019, at about 12:05 AM, deputies stopped a pick-up on Highway 99W near milepost 105 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, BILLY WAYNE HATCH Jr, 42, had an outstanding Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Contempt of Court. HATCH JR. was cited and released in the field.
11/15/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at about 10:30 PM, deputies stopped a pick-up at on Peoria Rd at milepost 1 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, AMANDA IDA MACINTYRE, 43, had an outstanding Albany Municipal Court Warrant for F.T.A.- THEFT III. MACINTYRE was cited and released in the field.
11/15/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at about 2:00 AM, deputies stopped a car on 3rd St. near Kiger Island Drive for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised one of the passengers, LORI KAY CVITANOVICH, 53, had an outstanding Benton County Circuit court Warrant for F.T.A. - Assault IV/Harassment (X2) / Disorderly Conduct (X2). Deputies arrested LORI and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and released.
11/15/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at about 5:55 pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor-vehicle crash on Conifer near Highway 20. Upon arrival, they spoke with the driver in unit number one. The driver stated he was stopped at the light waiting to proceed when we was rear-ended. The driver in unit number two was unable to say why she was unable to stop, before rear-ending unit number one. The driver in unit two was distracted for an unknown reason.
11/15/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at about 1:40 AM, deputies stopped a pick-up truck on Philomath Blvd near 15th St for a traffic violation. The driver, JENNIFER ANN FRANKS, 47, was arrested for P.C.S. II (Methamphetamine). FRANKS was cited and released in the field.
11/15/19 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On Monday, November 11, 2019, at about 11:22 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of SW Philomath Boulevard and 53rd Street, in Corvallis. They initiated a traffic stop on a red 2003 Ford Expedition and later arrested Monike Faaaliga IERMIA, 26, for Violation of a Restraining Order.
11/15/19 - DUII – DRUGS. On Sunday, November 10, 2019, at about 3:05 P.M., deputies conducted a traffic stop on 9th Street and Tyler Street. They made contact with the driver, Anthony Delose Adams Jr, 51. After an investigation, Adams was arrested for DUII-Drugs. Deputies issued Adams a criminal citation for DUII-Drugs ORS 813.010 and a traffic citation for Fail to Drive within Lane ORS 811.370 and Unlawful or Unsignaled Turn ORS 811.335.
11/15/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; LITTERING; PAROLE VIOLATION; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On November 11, 2019, at about 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a littering complaint at NE Highway 99W south of Elliott Circle. Alicia Marie Market-Blymiller, 34, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II, Offensive Littering and a Linn County Parole Sanction. David Ray Market-Blymiller, 29, was arrested for a confirmed Linn County Justice Court Warrant for Contempt of Court, Offensive Littering and Criminal Trespass II. David was cited and released. Alicia was transported to Linn County Jail for the sanction and cited to appear for Littering and Criminal Trespass.
11/15/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM BUILDING; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 12:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Highway 20 for a burglary. Deputies arrived and spoke with the resident said he believed someone by the name of Mike or Jason had entered his house and stolen 800.00 dollars. Edward did not seem to know who he was talking about and could not give further information.
11/15/19 - DWS MIS.  On November 7, 2019, at about 11:40 PM, deputies stopped David Laine Olson Jr., 33, for failure to maintain lane. Olson said his license was, "Suspended red for DUII". Dispatch confirmed Olson`s license was suspended misdemeanor in Oregon. Olson was cited and released for DWS-Misdemeanor. Olson was also given a warning for failure to maintain lane. A family member came and picked him up from the scene.
11/15/19 - BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 – VANDALISM.  On Thursday, October 31, 2019, at approximately 2:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 3200 block of NE Garden Avenue for a report of burglary. They arrived and spoke with a resident who reported that someone cut through the fence to get into a marijuana growing area. He also said the person cut into a cargo trailer where marijuana was drying and being stored. He estimated the value of the marijuana to be approximately $50,000.00. He also said there was approximately $1500.00 worth of damage to a camera cable, fence, and lock to the cargo trailer.
11/13/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Monday, November 11, 2019, at about 2:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Parole and Probation lobby for a warrant service. They contacted Jonathon Lynn Heath, 43, and arrested him for four Benton County Circuit Court fail to appear warrants. Dispatch confirmed the warrants and deputies walked Heath to the Benton County Jail where he was processed.
11/13/19 - ASSAULT 3; DUII – DRUGS; RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On November 9, 2019, at about 6:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 20 at the Highway 223 intersection. A mother and son were injured when Scott Allen Chapel, 51, attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 and crashed essentially head-on into their vehicle. Deputies determined Chapel was impaired and arrested him for Assault III, DUII and Reckless Endangering.
11/13/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at about 9:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Springhill Drive and Buena Vista Road. Deputies arrived and observed a vehicle in a ditch. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle was towed.
11/13/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at about 6:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to an injury crash at Highway 20 and Granger Avenue. They arrived and observed vehicle one in the ditch on the east side of Highway 20. The drivers of both vehicles were both uninjured. The passenger in vehicle one was transported to Good Samaritan Emergency Department for an evaluation. Both vehicles were towed.
11/13/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On November 7, 2019, deputies responded to a dump truck off the roadway at Highway 99W and Starr Road. The driver struck a deer headed northbound on Highway 99W and lost control of the truck. No one was injured and a tow company removed the vehicle.
11/13/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at about 5:15 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 99W near NE Elliot Circle, north of Corvallis. They arrived to find two vehicles involved in a rear end crash. Both vehicles were towed due to damage.
11/12/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, November 9, 2019, at about 6:30 PM, deputies were on routine patrol and contacted a male walking on the wrong side of Highway 99W near milepost 99, near Monroe. They contacted Jose Luis Chavez, 37, who provided them with his California expired driver’s license. Chaves returned with a warrant issued through Polk County for Probation Violation on a FTA 2/ Criminal Trespass 2. Chavez was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail.
11/12/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 7:01 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 5600 block of NW Dumbeck Ave for report of a trespass. CHARLYNE ANN SIMS, 44, had walked into a family member’s residence without permission. CHARLYNE left willingly and deputies gave her a courtesy shuttle at her request.
11/12/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  DARREN PERREARD, 49, TURNED SELF INTO THE JAIL LOBBY ON A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA USE OF ESG-TEAR-MACE, BAIL: $3000.  PERREARD SIGNED A RELEASE AGREEMENT WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
11/12/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 3:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highland Drive and Wild Rose Drive for report of a car fire. A vehicle caught on fire due to unknown reasons while he was driving. The vehicle was destroyed and later towed from the scene.
11/12/19 - BURGLARY 1; THEFT 1 - FROM BUILDING.  On November 8, 2019, deputies contacted a citizen on the 2000 block of SW Herbert Ave. Four padlocks were cut since Monday, Nov 4, on outbuildings and a .22 rifle, ammunition and a chainsaw were taken. No suspect information.
11/12/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On November 8, 2019, deputies I stopped a vehicle driven by Ross Wilson at SW 3rd St and SW Alexander Ave and arrested the back passenger, Miranda Christensen, 24, who had a Corvallis Municipal Warrant for cronic FTA. Benton County Jail authorized a cite and release.
11/12/19 - IMPROPER USE OF 911; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On November 8, 2019, at about 10:00 AM, deputies responded to the 5000 block of SW Technology Loop Apartment to evict a tenant at that address. Natalie Huffy, 54, was subsequently arrested for misuse of 911 and criminal trespass II.
11/12/1/ - WARRANT ARREST.  On November 7, 2019, at about 2:40 AM, Yunis Omer, 22, came to the Law Enforcement Center and stated that he had a warrant for his arrest. Deputies confirmed the FTA DUII warrant, placed him in handcuffs and walked him to the jail.
11/12/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 11/7/19, JAIL DEPUTIES CITED CASPINO, GARRETT, 27, ON A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF ALBANY MUNI FOR FTA LARCENY, BAIL $1970.00. CASPINO WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
11/12/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 11/7/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 1257, MCWHIRTER, MARY, 52, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT SHE HAD A WARRANT. DEPUTIES LOCATED A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF CORVALLIS MUNI FOR FTA TRESP 2, BAIL $5,000. MCWHIRTER WAS ISSUED A NEW COURT DATE.
11/12/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 11/7/19, JAIL DEPUTIES ARRESTED TYLER, ZACHARY, 40, ON A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF PHILOMATH MUNI FOR FTC DWS, BAIL $5,000.00. TYLER WAS ISSUED A NEW COURT DATE.
11/12/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at about 6:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 and Granger Ave. for a crash. Vehicle #1 was turning east on Highway 20 from Granger Ave. Vehicle #2 was traveling west on Highway 20 and sideswiped Vehicle 1 as the driver was turning onto Highway 20 causing significant damage to the vehicles.
11/12/19 - ALTER IDENTIFICATION-FIREARMS; FELON IN POSS OF FIREARM; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 4; FEL DELIVER METH; FUGITIVE-OUT OF STATE; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY); WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at about 10:40 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near milepost #36 for several traffic violations. JEREMIAH JAMES ALLEN WILLIS, 26, was arrested on two outstanding Fugitive Warrants out of Washington and the second passenger, ANDREA JEAN HANSMAN, 23, was arrested on a Probation Violation Warrant for Burglary I. The driver, BRETT CALVIN WHEELER, 48, was arrested for Possession/Delivery of 3.8 OZ. of Methamphetamine and Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Obliteration of a Serial Number (Firearm).
11/12/19 - WARRANT ARREST. On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at about 5:15 P.M., deputies were advised there was a female on the 31000 block of Fern Road with active warrants. Deputies arrived and arrested Carlos Santiago Penn, 60, and transported Penn to Polk County Jail where she was lodged.
11/12/19 - DELIVER METH; LITTERING; TAMPER W/ EVIDENCE.  On November 2, 2019, at about 6:54 pm, deputies stopped Jonathan Guy Lewis, 50, on Chaparall near Chinook. Chaparall was arrested for DCS-Meth, Tampering with Evidence and Offensive littering.
11/7/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 11/6/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 0844, JAIL DEPUTIES ISSUED A CRIMINAL CITATION TO WICK, RONALD RAY, 35, ON A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR PV MENACING, RECKLESS ENDANGER, AND HARASS OUT OF LINC CO CIRCUIT COURT.
11/7/19 - DWS MIS.  On Monday, November 4, 2019, at about 4:45 P.M., deputies observed a vehicle driving east on Harrison Blvd, near 26th Street. A male was waiting to cross the crosswalk at the intersection of 26th street and Harrison, and the vehicle did not stop. The driver, Donald Spencer Ray Hendershot JR, 46, had a suspended driver’s license. Deputies issued Hendershot a citation for driving while suspended misdemeanor.
11/7/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at about 9:50 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Main St. at 14th St. in Philomath for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, TYLER GAROL GENE UPMEYER, 25, had an outstanding Warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for a Probation Violation - D.U.I.I. UPMEYER was issued a citation in the field and released.
11/7/19 – PROSTITUTION.  On October 31, 2019, at around 7:36 P.M., deputies contacted a person soliciting prostitution in the Corvallis, OR area on a website. Sigourney Synnove TOYONAGA, 28, later told deputies to meet her on the 1500 block of NW 9th St, then go to a local hotel. Once deputies identified TOYONAGA she was arrested for Prostitution. TOYONAGA was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and lodged.
11/5/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, November 4, 2019, at about 10:10 A.M., Vehicle #1 was driving west on Coon Road near Cherry Creek Road.  Vehicle #1 pulled over to the side of the road for an oncoming ambulance with its emergency lights flashing. The trailer attached to vehicle #1 went into the ditch, and pulled vehicle #1 into the ditch. Vehicle #1 collided with a driveway entrance. The driver of vehicle #1 was transported by Corvallis Fire Department to the hospital. The trailer was left at a nearby residence / friend of the driver.
11/5/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at about 1:00 P.M., deputies arrested Roy Eric Edwards, 52, for two confirmed warrants out of Albany Municipal Court. Deputies recognized Edwards as he walked down the sidewalk eating ice cream out of a carton. Edwards was issued a citation and released with his ice cream.
11/5/19 - FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE.  On Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 11:29 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding. The driver, Arrol Lugo, 22, was arrested for failing to carry and/or present a license. The driver was issued a citation and released on scene.
11/5/19 - RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, October 28, 2019, at approximately 4:45am, deputies arrested Andrew Chadim, 51, the Benton County Courthouse after he refused to leave when asked. Chadim resisted and had to be forcefully subdued to facilitate the arrest.
11/4/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE.  On November 1, 2019, at about 10:15 a.m., deputies spoke with a citizen by phone who reported his vehicle was side swiped by another vehicle. He does not have suspect information and there was a two-hour delay. Deputies advised him to contact insurance company and call back if further information becomes available.
11/4/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On Thursday, October 31, 2019, at about 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to a crash at Highway 20 and Granger Ave intersection. Driver #1 turned eastbound off of Granger Avenue in front of Driver #2, travelling westbound. Neither party was injured. Driver 1 was issued a citation for Improper Left Turn.
11/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at about 6:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 600 block of Ash Street in Monroe. It was determined the group of people worked for the bank clearing out homes in foreclosure. David McIntyer, 52, was contacted and arrested for multiple warrants.
11/1/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, October 31, 2019, around 1:50 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near milepost 36 for crossing the centerline while driving west. The passenger, Liv Lanning, 21, had a confirmed Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant for Probation Violation - Driving While Suspended.  Deputies issued Lanning a criminal citation for the warrant and she was released.
11/1/19 - BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT.  On October 30, 2019, at about 11:30 AM, deputies responded to the 2000 block of SW Allen St. for a report of an attempted burglary. There was an attempted forced entry of a storage shed; however, nothing was taken.
10/31/19 - HARASSMENT (1C) TEL/ELEC/WRIT THRT-INTIM/THRT.  On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at about 1:30 P.M., deputies arrested Steven Michael Anderson, 47, for Telephonic Harassment. Steven sent multiple emails to a BCSO Detective after being told to stop. Steven was escorted to the Benton County Jail, and was informed to not have contact with the Detective.
10/31/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; RECKLESS DRIVING. On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at about 12:13 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office lobby to speak with citizens about a cold criminal mischief. The men stated people have been doing cookies in their gravel at night causing damage. Deputies advised them they would put in an extra patrol request for the area.
10/31/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Dayshift, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at about 8:00 A.M., Vehicle #1 turned left in front of Vehicle #2 on Highway 20 // Independence Highway. Vehicle #2 was towed from the scene. The driver of Vehicle #2 was transported to Albany General Hospital.
10/31/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at 1:23 a.m., deputies contacted Zachary Stegner, 33, on Adair Frontage Rd, Adair Village, Benton County, Oregon. Stegner was arrested on two confirmed warrants for his arrest and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
10/31/19 - POSS COCAINE (MISD); DUII. On Tuesday, October 28th, 2019, at about 12:20 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway 99W near Territorial Highway (Highway 200). The driver, TREVOR ALLEN BAKER, 27, was subsequently arrested for D.U.I.I. and Possession of Cocaine. BAKER was taken to the Sheriff`s Office where his Blood Alcohol Content was .09%.
10/31/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, October 28, 2019, deputies performed a traffic stop at .Philomath Boulevard and 15th Street, in Corvallis. The passenger identified herself as Andrea Dorman, 34. Andrea was cited a released for a Contempt of Court warrant through Philomath Municipal Court.
10/30/19 - BURGLARY 2 – RESIDENCE; THEFT 1 - FROM BUILDING; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT. On Monday, October 28, 2019, at about 1:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a cold burglary on the 3600 block of Knollwood Drive. The ownder stated sometime over the weekend someone used a key to enter his residence. He said someone stole two safes and a display case of quarters. The value of the items in the safes was approximately $1000.00.
10/30/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On October 27, 2019, Vehicle #1 was parked on the south side of Main St. near 15th St when it backed up into Vehicle #2 that was behind Vehicle #1 on the same side of the street. There was no damage to Vehicle #1 and no injuries. Neither vehicle was towed from the scene, but Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front of the vehicle exceeding $2500.00.
10/30/19 - DUII - .15 THRU .19; MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR.  On October 27, 2019, at around 12:01 AM, deputies contacted Alyssa Macomber, 18, at the Knife River entrance on Highway 34 near milepost 1 in Corvallis. Macomber’s friends reported her as an impaired driver, after she left a residence intoxicated in Corvallis. Macomber was arrested for DUII and taken to the Benton County Jail. Her blood alcohol content was .17%. Macomber was additionally cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
10/30/19 – LITTERING; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE; RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Saturday, October 26, 2019, at about 6:15 PM, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Coon Road, near milepost 3. They arrived to find no driver and no witnesses who could provide any information regarding who was driving.
10/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at about 8:27 pm,deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99W and Vandenberg Avenue for a vehicle verse deer crash. Upon arrival they spoke with the driver who said he was headed south on Highway 99W, a deer ran into the Highway and he was unable to avoid hitting the deer. The remnants of the deer were pulled out of the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage.
10/30/19 - HARASSMENT- DIS CONDUCT.  On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 5:55 P.M., deputies were dispatched to contact a woman regarding a road rage incident. She reported a female got out of her vehicle while they were both stopped in the area of Circle Boulevard and Highway 20, attempted to open her door, then yelled at her and punched her window. The female was not located.
10/30/19 - PROBATION VIOLATION.  On October 22, 2019, on Hwy 20/Hwy 34 in Philomath, deputies issued Sarah Jacks, 40, a criminal citation for a probation violation out of Lebanon Municipal Court.
10/30/19 - CONTEMPT OF COURT.  On October 21, 2019, at approximately 2am, on the 33600 block of Marys River Estate Rd/Hwy 20 in Philomath, deputies arrested Jeremie Helfrich, 36, on a warrant out of Lane County Circuit Court.
10/30/19 - FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE. On Saturday, October 12, 2019, at approximately 12:00 P.M., deputies spoke with a victim regarding vehicle damage to her car. She said on October 9, 2019 at approximately 1:15 P.M., she and her mother went to lunch at the Long Timber Brewing Company and they left at approximately 2:15 P.M. Said she found out later that evening that her vehicle was backed into causing damage to the rear bumper. Deputies later spoke with an employee who said the surveillance video could not see the license plate but the vehicle was a newer, silver, Chevy Silverado.
