10/14/19 - MENACING - INTIMIDATE/THRT; VIOL COURT STALKING PROTECT ORDER – MISD; TAMPER W/ WITNESS – INTIMIDATE/THRT.  On Saturday, October 12, 2019, at approximately 8:43 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 4700 block of NW Independence Highway for report of a menacing, which had occurred. Deputies contacted the victims, both of which had been contacted by ROBERT EUGENE GRAHAM, 47, via Facebook Messenger. ROBERT attempted to place both in fear of imminent serious physical injury as well as attempted to induce them both from testifying at an official court proceeding with the messages he sent to them both. On Sunday, October 13, 2019, Graham turned himself in, was booked, and released with citations.
10/14/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON ORDINANCE VIOLATION; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On October 10, 2019, at around 3:30 P.M., detectives contacted Karly Ann TARVIN, 23, on the 1300 block of SW Philomath Blvd. TARVIN was later taken into custody for four confirmed warrants.
10/14/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On October 10, 2019, at around 3:03 P.M., detectives contacted Angelica Elaine HART, 25, on the 1300 block of SW Philomath Blvd. HART was arrested, transported and lodged at the Benton County Jail for a confirmed warrant.
10/14/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:40 AM, deputies contacted and arrested HEATHER JOHNSON, 31, who had multiple confirmed, outstanding misdemeanor warrants while she was sitting in her vehicle in the area of Pleasant Place and Twin Oaks Circle in Corvallis. JOHNSON was issued citations with court dates in lieu of custody for her warrants.
10/11/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER.  On October 10, 2019, at 6:25 AM, deputies stopped Christopher Wolfe, 38, on Highway 20 near milepost 40 in Blodgett for speeding. Wolfe was a convicted sex offender and required to register as a sex offender within 10 days of changing residency. Wolfe told deputies he moved to a different address than the one listed on his sex offender registration three months ago and “forgot" to register with his new address. Wolfe was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
10/11/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING; MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On October 9, 2019, 11:42 pm, deputies stopped Richard Cerrato, 19, on 10th Street near Jackson Avenue in Corvallis, after they observed him spinning his tires and doing doughnuts in the middle of an intersection. Cerrato was arrested for Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering. Cerrato was lodged at the Benton County Jail. Cerrato`s front seat passenger, Rocio Lopez-Morales, 19, was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
10/11/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON ORDINANCE VIOLATION.  On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at about 11:00 am, deputies were dispatched to Benton County Parole and Probation for a warrant service. They arrived and arrested Michael Felix Sandoval, 64, on four confirmed warrants out of Corvallis Municipal Court, all for Failure to Appear for Open Container. Bail on each warrant was $5,000.00. Sandoval was issued criminal citations and released.
10/11/19 - POSS COCAINE (FELONY); RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 2:10am, deputies stopped a vehicle on SE Bridgeway Avenue near SW 3rd Street for failure to drive within lane. They later arrested the driver, Marx Garcia Nunez, 40, for failure to carry/present a license, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of cocaine.
10/11/19 - FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; MIS DWS; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On September 26, 2019, deputies arrested GEREMY GEORGE BYZEWSKI, 26, for Failure to carry/present a driver`s license, False information to police, Driving while revoked misdemeanor and on a confirmed outstanding felony warrant after a traffic stop on Technology Loop near Philomath Boulevard.
10/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at approximately 2:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the lobby of Parole and Probation for someone with a warrant. Front office staff told deputies Carols Martin Gomez, 24, was there and had an Oregon State Parole Board Warrant for PV-Weapon Offense. Deputies told Gomez he had a warrant and that he was under arrest and walked Gomez to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
10/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, October 9th, 2019, at about 2:30 AM, deputies contacted WILLIAM ELVIN SPANN, 49, in the parking lot of 23335 NW Kings Blvd, Corvallis. SPANN was arrested on four outstanding warrants. He was cited and released in the field.
10/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at about 6:10 P.M., deputies arrived at a two-vehicle crash at Highway 99W and Elliott Circle. Eric Carlson, 31, was involved in a crash. Carlson had two confirmed warrants, one out of Salem Municipal, FTA - Criminal Citation; and one out of Lebanon Municipal, FTA - Criminal Citation. Carlson was cited at the jail for his warrants and for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
10/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at about 6:10 P.M., deputies arrived at a two-vehicle crash at Highway 99W and Elliott Circle. Vehicle 1 was traveling North on Highway 99W and crashed into vehicle 2, which was driven by Eric Carlson, 31. He was stopped on Highway 99W facing north. Carlson was arrested for outstanding warrants.
10/9/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – VANDALISM.  On Monday, October 7, 2019, at about 8:50 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a traffic complaint at Walden Lane near Evergreen Road. The spoke with a resident on the telephone who said his neighbor installed speed bumps on Walden Lane. Deputies arrived to Walden Lane and spoke to the neighbor who said she installed the speed bumps for drainage issues and to slow down speeders. Deputies informed her they would be speaking to Benton County Public Works regarding her concerns about the speeders and the speed bumps. Deputies followed up with Public Works and spoke to the neighbor again, who agreed to remove the speed bumps.
10/9/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, October 7, 2019, at about 2:50 P.M., deputies assisted Junction City Police Department with a Hit and Run investigation at Highway 99W at about milepost 98. Deputies later arrested the driver, Nicholas Michael Gibson, 22, for Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver, Reckless Driving, and Criminal Mischief II. Deputies issued Gibson a criminal citation and transported him to his residence in Corvallis.
10/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On October 7, 2019, Vehicle 1 was eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 41. The driver said he swerved to miss a deer in the fog and rolled his vehicle on its side. The vehicle slid off the shoulder into brush and had to be towed back to the roadway where he was able to drive away.
10/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, October 3, 2019, at about 8:13 pm, deputies were driving north on Bellfountain Road near Chapel Drive and observed a vehicle with the front end in the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle but it needed a tow truck to pull it out of the ditch. The vehicle was driven away from the scene.

10/8/19 - On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Darius Michael Panknin, 25, of Corvallis, was arrested for a second time during an ongoing investigation.

The investigation began on Friday, August 23, 2019, when Detectives with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Street Crimes Unit, caught Panknin in possession of a stolen motorcycle near Twin Oaks Circle and Pleasant Place. Panknin was booked at the Benton County Jail at that time and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Panknin was subsequently released from jail and his Probation Officer issued a felony parole violation warrant for his arrest.

Next, a search warrant was obtained for the rooms and common areas where Panknin resided on the 1800 block of NW 29th Street in Corvallis. The search warrant was executed at the location after Panknin was taken into custody with the assistance of a BCSO K9, a BCSO UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) and the Corvallis Police Department, for his parole violation warrant on September 4, 2019. The arrest occurred after a short foot pursuit near 15th Street and Harrison Boulevard. Dealer quantities of Amphetamine pills, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of stolen property (some related to the original stolen motorcycle) was located in Panknin’s vehicle and residence. Also recovered were 48 different pieces of identification from numerous victims including credit cards, debit cards, social security cards, identification cards and driver’s licenses.

Panknin remains in custody at the Benton County Jail, where he was lodged on his parole violation warrant. Panknin was also charged with the additional crimes of: Aggravated Identity Theft, Theft II, Felon in Possession of Body Armor, Possession of a Burglary Tool or Theft Device, Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor), Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), Unlawful Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Manufacture (Extraction) of Marijuana Product.

10/8/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, October 7th, 2019, at 2:54 a.m., deputies responded to Hwy 99W and MP 88, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a single vehicle crash. Veh #1 was driven by the registered owner. The driver was traveling northbound on Hwy 99W. He stated he knew he was really tired and thought to himself he should pull over. He said the next thing he knew, he was opening his eyes in time to see a guardrail in front of him. He hit the guardrail on the east side of Hwy 99W, then hit a power pole. His vehicle came to a rest in the east ditch of Hwy 99W. Hitting the power pole caused power lines to lay across Hwy 99W. The driver had visible cuts from broken glass, but was not transported to the hospital. The vehicle was later towed after the scene was made safe by a power company.
10/8/19 - WILDLIFE OFFENSE GAME/FISH/TRAP.  On Monday, October 7th, 2019, at 1:07 a.m., deputies responded to the 25000 block of Larkin Rd, Monroe, Benton County, Oregon for a report of gunshots heard. Deputies contacted the reporting party who said he saw flashlights at the end of his driveway, and saw two gunshots. He then found a small deer in his front yard with a gunshot wound. The deer was euthanized and there are currently no identifiable suspects.
10/8/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY).  On Sunday, October 6th, 2019, at 3:04 a.m., deputies contacted Eric Gilstrap, 38, in a parking lot at 2300 NW 9th St, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. They conducted a narcotics investigation, cited and released Gilstrap for PCS-Meth.
10/8/19 - DUII - .08 THRU .14.  On October 6, 2019, at 1:57 AM, deputies stopped Kathryn Fulford, 26, on Highway 34 near the Highway 34 Bypass in Corvallis for traveling the wrong way on a one way street. They later arrested Fulford for DUII, after determining she was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Fulford was transported to the Benton County Jail. Fulford’s blood alcohol content was .13%. Fulford was cited for DUII, Driving the Wrong Way on a One Way, Driving While Suspended Violation, Open Container of Liquor, and Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device. Fulford was released to a sober friend from the jail.
10/8/19 - SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S).  On Saturday, October 4, 2019, at about 11:20 am, deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of Crystal Lake Drive for a report of a suspicious person. Deputies spoke with the resident who stated an unknown male was walking around in her driveway looking into her vehicles. The male left the area prior to their arrival. Deputies searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
10/8/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, October 5th, 2019, at 5:45 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Hwy 20 and Independence Hwy, Albany, Benton County, Oregon for a motor vehicle crash. This was a single vehicle crash, and the driver was not injured. Veh #1 was traveling south on Independence Hwy, approaching Hwy 20. This is a "T" intersection. It was extremely foggy and dark outside. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign, crossed the intersection, and impacted the guardrail on the south side of Hwy 20. The vehicle had extensive front-end damage, and the airbags were deployed. The driver stated she was traveling 45 MPH, and she was wearing her seatbelt. She was the only occupant inside the vehicle.
10/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, October 5th, 2019, at 12:41 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Hwy 34 bypass near SW 4th St, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. The driver, Billy Hatch, 42, was arrested on a confirmed Oregon State Parole Board Warrant. He was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
10/8/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Friday, October 4, 2019, at 5:01 PM, deputies contacted and arrested MICHAEL MCDONALD, 62, who was sitting in his vehicle on Sequoia Avenue near 9th Street in Corvallis, for two confirmed, misdemeanor warrants. MCDONALD was transported to the Benton County Jail.
10/8/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Friday, October 4, 2019, at 4:31 PM, deputies contacted and arrested TARAH HYRE, 31, on Belvue Street near Walnut Boulevard in Corvallis on two confirmed, misdemeanor warrants. HYRE was transported to the Linn County Jail where she was booked on the following warrants: 1) Albany Municipal Court, FTA Theft III, $1,567.50 Bail; and 2) Albany Municipal Court, FTA Trespass II, $1,490.00 Bail.
10/8/19 - THEFT 1.  On October 3, at about 9:00 a.m., a resident reported a self-constructed utility trailer was stolen from the parking lot just north of Mary’s River Lumber on Highway 20, to the west of Philomath city limits. There are no suspects.
10/8/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, October 3, 2019, at approximately 7:10 A.M., Vehicle 2 was northbound on 3rd Street near Standish Avenue, and was stopped behind multiple cars and a school bus. Vehicle 1 was driving north at approximately 60 miles per hour in fog, and struck the back of Vehicle 2. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
10/8/19 - BURGLARY 1 – BUSINESS.  On October 1, 2019, at about 4:00 PM, deputies responded to the front lobby for a report of a burglary. Deputies spoke with a property owner on the 26000 block of Bellfountain Rd. He stated that sometime in the last 6 weeks he noticed that someone stole 12 1.5hp greenhouse fans from the greenhouses on his property.
10/8/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 4:35 P.M., deputies were dispatched to N 19th St. and West Hills Rd. for an injury crash. Driver 1 crashed her vehicle off the west side of 19th St., coming to rest after crashing into a tree. The driver was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital for her injuries.
10/8/19 - DUII - .08 THRU .14; RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On September 29, 2019, at 4:34 AM, deputies were dispatched to NW Spring Hill Drive near milepost 5 in Albany for a single vehicle traffic crash. Deputies later arrested Arely Esperanza Acosta Santana, 25, for DUII and Reckless Driving, after they determined she was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Arely’s blood alcohol content was .12%. Arely was cited and released to a family member.
10/8/19 - DUII - .15 THRU .19; MIS DWS.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 12:20 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle near Dixon Street and Buchanan Avenue in Corvallis. The driver, Eric Bowles, 39, was arrested for DUII after it was determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Eric was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he registered a blood alcohol content of .18%. Deputies issued Eric criminal citations for DUII and Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
10/8/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On September 28, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., deputies arrested Jeremiah Robles, 22, at 180 NW 5th Street for a confirmed Marion County Warrant for FTA PCS Methamphetamines (Bail: $0.00). He was walked to the jail where he was booked.
10/8/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On September 28, 2019, at about 11:00 a.m., a man reported an assault had just occurred at the Adair Aerodome. Matthew Prudell, 49, was cited and released for Harassment.
10/8/19 - THEFT 2.  On September 27, 2019, at about 11:00 a.m., deputies responded to the 19000 block of South Fork Road for a report of a theft of electric screwdrivers from the porch. No suspects determined.
10/8/19 - BURGLARY 2.  On Thursday, September 26, 2019, at about 6:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 35000 block of Goshawk Lane in Philomath. The resident told deputies his wife’s jewelry box and statue was taken during their move. He did not know what was in the jewelry box or the value of the statue.
10/2/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, September 30, 2019, at about 8:00 am, deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Asbahr Avenue. They arrived and determined vehicle 1 failed to stop after observing vehicle 2 stop suddenly in front of her. The driver of vehicle 2 stated traffic in front of him stopped, suddenly causing him to brake heavily to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him.
10/2/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; WARRANT ARREST; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; ELUDE FOOT; FUGITIVE-OUT OF STATE.  On Wednesday, September 25, at about 10:40 PM, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Smith Loop near Highway 99W, when the driver of the vehicle did not stop. The driver was ultimately arrested after fleeing on foot from the vehicle near Airport Road and Fern Road. SHELBI MARIE NUNN, 25, was also arrested on outstanding Warrants and numerous other charges.
10/1/19 - THEFT 1 - FROM VEHICLE.  On Monday, September 30, 2019, at about 8:30 A.M., deputies spoke to a man who stated on sometime around September 10, 2019 someone broke into logging equipment on Bunker Hill near Reese Creek Road and stole a CB radio and a "Logging Book". A citizen later located the logging book inside a leather notepad in Philomath.
10/1/19 - RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 1:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the saddle on Sulphur Springs Road for a report of a hit and run crash. They arrived and spoke with the driver, Sonja Ruth Anderson, 80, who had hit a road sign with her driver side mirror on the shoulder of the oncoming lane. Deputies cited Anderson for Failure to Maintain Lane and Careless Driving.
10/1/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, September 29th, 2019, at 12:01 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Alpine Rd and Kyle Rd, Monroe, Benton County, Oregon for a report of a vehicle that crashed into the ditch. Veh #1 was traveling westbound on Alpine Rd at a stated 55 MPH, lost control on a curve near Kyle Rd, due to the road being covered in mud. Veh #1 slid into the north ditch of Alpine Rd. The driver was not injured and not impaired. He stated he would tow the vehicle out of the ditch the following day.
10/1/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS.  On September 28, 2019, at approximately 11:30AM, deputies responded to the area of Decker Rd and Highway 34 for a person locked behind a Starker Forest. Chad HOYT, 40, had entered a Tree Farm through an unlocked gate and the gate was locked when they tried to leave. Deputies helped Chad HOYT correctly interpret the tree farm maps so he knew where he was allowed to hunt.
10/1/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY); DUII – DRUGS; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Thursday, September 26, 2019, at about 11:15 P.M., deputies located a suspicious vehicle driving into Ellmaker State Park, 29541 Highway 20 in Blodgett. They approached the driver, who was identified as Charles Roster, 34, and I later arrested him for DUII-Drugs, Reckless Driving and PCS Methamphetamine.
10/1/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at about 3:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a hit and run at 2nd and Main Street in Alsea. Deputies spoke with a woman on the telephone who said she was hit by a gravel truck and the driver left the scene. After an investigation, deputies learned this was a road rage incident and the parties would go through their insurance process.
9/30/19 - DUII - BAC TEST REFUSED.  On September 15, 2019, at about 12:54 am, deputies stopped Jordan Craig Prunty, 20, in a parking lot on 3rd St in Corvallis and arrested Prunty for DUII after deputies determined he was impaired and unable to operate a motor vehicle safely. Prunty refused to submit to a breath test and was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood draw. Prunty was lodged in the Benton County Jail for DUII.
9/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 1:00 P.M., deputies arrested Kathrin Bly, 48, for 4 warrants. Kathrin was collecting cans on the side of Hoskins road near Luckiamute Road. Kathrin was given court dates for each and released.
9/30/19 - BURGLARY 2 – BUSINESS.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 12:05 P.M., deputies spoke to an employee of a business on Garden Avenue. She stated someone kicked in the door and stole numerous cans of soda pop.
9/30/19 - DWS MIS.  On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at about 8:35 A.M., deputies saw a vehicle driving on 3rd Street near Jackson Avenue with a registration tag was worn down and was not easily readable. The driver, Bernardo Magana, 49, had a license that was suspended misdemeanor. Bernardo was cited and released.
9/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On September 28, 2019, at 8:52 PM, deputies stopped Erin McClung, 27, on SW West Hills Road near SW Lookout Drive in Corvallis for not having a bike light. McClung had four confirmed warrants for her arrest: 1) FTA-Possession of Methamphetamine, Benton County Circuit Court, Bail $6,000; 2) FTA-Criminal Trespass I, Benton County Circuit Court Warrant, No Bail; 3) FTA-Criminal Trespass II, Benton County Circuit Court Warrant, No Bail; and 4) FTA-Larceny, Albany Municipal Court, Bail $7,030. Deputies transported McClung to the Benton County Jail and lodged her there on the warrants.
9/30/19 - THEFT 3.  On September 25, 2019, at an unknown time, someone entered a vacant residence on the 24000 block of Dawson Road and stole an airsoft rifle belonging to the previous owners. No suspects.
9/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On September 24, 2019, Vehicle number one stopped abruptly due to heavy traffic, vehicle number two driver was looking at oncoming traffic and did not see vehicle number one stopping. Vehicle number two crashed into the back of vehicle number one and both vehicles pulled to the shoulder to exchange information. No injuries and both vehicles drove away from the crash.
9/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at about 3:20 pm, dispatch was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on NW Independence Highway and NW Ryals Avenue.
9/30/19 – ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On September 20, 2019, at 5:22pm, Unit 1 was northbound on highway 99W at about milepost 90.5, when the truck drifted slightly to the right and hung a tire off the roadway and it pulled the vehicle into the ditch. The vehicle went into a ditch, over a driveway culvert and onto its side, spilling its load of corn.
9/26/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 9/25/19, JAIL DEPUTIES RAN MASON, JESSE JACK, 36, BECAUSE HE WAS BEING SENTENCED IN THE MORNING AND MOST LIKELY WILL BE GETTING RELEASED. THEY LEARNED MASON HAD A LINN CO WARRANT FOR FTA DUII, RECKLESS DRIVING, FELON IN POSS, FTA CITE, FTA 2. 9/26/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 9/25/19, JAIL DEPUTIES WERE PREPARING TO RELEASE SANDOVAL, MICHAEL, 64, AND FOUND HE HAD 4 CORVALLIS MUNI WARRANTS FOR OPEN CONTAINER. EACH WARRANT HAS A $5,000 BAIL. THE WARRANTS WERE SERVED ON SANDOVAL AND HE WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
9/26/19 - DWS MIS.  On September 2, 2019, at about 3:55 p.m., deputies stopped JOSE PABLO PEREZ, 30, for speeding on Highway 99W at about milepost 75. Deputies issued PEREZ a citation for his speed, and cited and released in the field for Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor).
9/25/19 - POSS METHYLENEDIOXYMETH; RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; TAMPER W/ EVIDENCE; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; FAIL TO APPEAR.  On Monday, September 23, 2019, at approximately 12am, deputies stopped Noah BURKE, 19, for a traffic violation near 3rd and Lilly. Burke was arrested for possession of MDMA, failure to carry or present an operator’s license, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence and a felony warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for failure to appear.
9/25/19 - BURGLARY 2 – RESIDENCE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, September 23, 2019, at about 6:25 PM, deputies were dispatched to a cold burglary on the 27000 block of Old River Road, near Monroe. Deputies spoke with a man who said a "guy" picked his locks and entered his home. No items were taken. Case discontinued due to lack of suspect information.
9/25/19 - FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE.  On Saturday, September 21st, 2019, at 11:42 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SE Richland Ave, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. Micki Rae Englent, 35, was cited and released for failing to carry/present her driver’s license.
9/25/19 - FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD.  On 9/20/2019, deputies spoke with a woman concerning a fraudulent use of her credit card. She said an unknown person used her credit card at Walmart in Corvallis. Deputies retrieved video surveillance from Walmart but were not able to identify the suspect.
9/25/19 - THEFT 1; DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; DWS MIS; ELUDE FOOT.  On Sunday, September 15, 2019, at approximately 12:15am, deputies arrested Ryan Merckling, 23, at his residence located on the 23000 block of Jamestown Avenue in Monroe.
9/25/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE.  On September 9, 2019, deputies spoke with a woman who said on September 6, 2019, between about 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., she parked her car near the intersection of NE Strawberry Lane and NE Garden Avenue to go swimming by herself and look for agates. During that time, unknown suspect(s) stole her purse containing miscellaneous items.
9/24/19 - THEFT 2.  On Monday, September 23, 2019, at about 8:30 am, deputies were dispatched to speak with a man regarding a theft from his property. He stated an unknown person had stolen the cash box from his farm stand sometime between 9/19/2019 and 9/23/2019 on the 3800 block of NE Highway 20. The total was approximately $92.00. He stated he would put up cameras in an attempt to prevent future thefts.
9/24/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE.  On Saturday, September 21, 2019, at approximately 10:59 A.M., vehicle 1 was north on Luckiamute Road near Milepost 2. A deer ran onto the road, west, in front of vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 struck the deer near the driver`s side headlight.
9/24/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD) PARAPHERNALIA; FEL FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER; FUGITIVE-OUT OF STATE.  On Friday, September 20, 2019, around 1:20 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near milepost 36 for a traffic violation. The driver, Peter Schragl, 45, was arrested on a US Marshal Service warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Schragl was also arrested for Unlawful Possession of meth and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Schragl was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
9/24/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at about 9:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 34 near milepost 37 for an injury crash. Vehicle 1 was traveling east on Highway 34 near milepost 37 and struck a deer with the front driver side of his pickup truck. The driver crossed the westbound lane and came to rest in the north side ditch with his pickup upside down. The driver did not sustain any injuries.
9/24/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at about 5:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W and Lewisburg Ave for a non-injury crash.  Vehicle 1 was traveling north on Highway 99W near Lewisburg Ave behind vehicle 2, which was stopped. Vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2 with the front driver side of his vehicle. The driver of vehicle 1 was cited for DWS-Violation and Driving Uninsured.
9/24/19 - THEFT 3 - LOST/MISLAID PROPERTY.  On September 21, 2019, at about 5:30 pm, deputies spoke with a man by phone who reported two college age males returned his wallet to his residence. The males claimed to have found it on 35th St near campus. The man did not have names of the males. He did not know he had lost his wallet and assumed he lost it at WinCo around 3:00 pm. He reported $110, a credit card, and his Oregon Driver license were missing from his wallet.
9/24/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Saturday, September 21st, 2019, at 1:10 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on SW 3rd St near SW Lilly St, Corvallis. A narcotics K-9 alerted to the vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle, Eva Bales, 57, was cited and released for being in possession of meth.
9/24/19 – VEHICLE ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at about 6:07 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Highway 20 near milepost 2.
9/24/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at about 12:00 P.M., Vehicle #1 was traveling south on Highway 180 when it went around a corner too fast and lost control. The vehicle crashed into the side of a hill and rolled onto its top. The driver was not injured and the vehicle was towed.
9/24/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, September 16, 2019, at about 10:30 PM, deputies went to the 24000 block of Gellatly Way near Philomath and arrested John Caldwell, 26, for a warrant through Benton County Circuit Court and issued him a criminal citation.
9/24/19 – DUII; DUII - BAC TEST REFUSED; RECKLESS DRIVING. On Wednesday, September 11th 2019, at about 11:10 P.M., deputies stopped Brian Cabrera, 24, and later arrested him for DUII. Brian refused to provide a breath sample so deputies obtained a search warrant for a blood sample. After obtaining the blood sample Cabrera was transported to the Benton County Jail and he was issued citations for DUII, Reckless Driving, and BAC Test Refusal.
9/24/19 - DWS MIS.  On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at about 5:07 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of NE Diane Place to assist Parole and Probation. Tamara Waters, 61, was cited for DWS- Misdemeanor.
9/19/19 - RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; PAROLE VIOLATION – WARRANT.  On September 18, 2019, at about 11:00 AM, deputies responded to the area of Pioneer Park, 1300 SW Philomath Blvd, at the request of a Parole and Probation Officer, who had contacted one of his clients with a warrant. Deputies arrested Michael Campbell, 41, and transported him to the jail on a parole board warrant.
9/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at about 12:10 A.M., deputies observed a vehicle driving west on Highway 34 near the Highway 34 bypass without a front license plate. They stopped the vehicle near 2nd St. and Tyler Ave. The passenger, later identified as Mary Riley, 35, had two confirmed warrants out of Lebanon Municipal Court and Linn County. Riley was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail.
9/19/19 - THEFT 1 - FROM VEHICLE.  On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at about 2:25 P.M., deputies spoke with a Benton County Employee who reported a backpack leaf blower and power pruner were stolen out of his Benton County Parks pickup while it was parked on the 1700 block of NW Four Acre Place in Corvallis.
9/19/19 - POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 2; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, September 15th, 2019, at about 11:55 PM, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Highway 34 near Peoria Road. The vehicle turned off its lights and attempted to get away from deputies on Peoria Road. Deputies located and arrested the driver, PAUL JAMES WALTON, 32, and the passenger, NATHAN JAMES SHOEMAKER, 21. Both were taken to the Jail where they were booked and released.
9/19/19 - DUII - .08 THRU .14; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at about 8:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to a report of a possible DUII driver on Highway 99W near milepost 96, near Monroe. Deputies performed a traffic stop on the vehicle, driven by Kyle Logan, 25. Kyle Logan was later arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving. Kyle was cited and released to a sober party.
9/19/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On September 14, 2019, at approximately 10:00AM, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on the BLM 10 Rd about three miles from Highway 34. When deputies arrived, they located a pickup truck on its side, across the road. The driver said he crashed the previous night. He said they were going camping and he came through the corner too fast. He said his tires got into the large rock on the shoulder of the road and that he struck the opposite bank and the truck rolled.
9/19/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD) PARAPHERNALIA; WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, September 13, 2019, at approximately 9:40 PM, deputies located MIRANDA CHRISTENSEN, 24, on the 1700 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. CHRISTENSEN was issued citations in lieu of custody (due to overcrowding) at the request of Jail Deputies for her warrant as well as for the crime of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
9/19/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD); CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1; POSS BURGLARS TOOLS.  On Thursday, September 12, 2019 at approximately 2:57 PM, deputies saw CHRISTOPHER BETTELYOUN in the area of Walnut Boulevard near Conser Street in Corvallis. Deputies had probable cause to arrest BETTELYOUN for multiple crimes related to two different investigations. Deputies arrested BETTELYOUN, 34, who was found to be in possession of a small amount of Methamphetamine and bolt cutters. BETTELYOUN was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was charged with Trespass I, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), and Possession of a Burglary Tool or Theft Device in this case.
9/19/19 - BURGLARY 2 – BUSINESS; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 OTHER; THEFT 3 - FROM BUILDING.  On Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 7:31 AM, deputies spoke with the owner of a produce stand on Bellfountain Road. He was the victim of ongoing thefts from his cash box at that location since he reported the first on August 14, 2019. He said he had had been stolen from once again, the prior night. Deputies identified the suspect in this incident, as well as a previous theft on August 23, as CHRISTOPHER BETTELYOUN from surveillance camera footage. BETTELYOUN was located and arrested on September 12 and charged in connection with both thefts.
9/19/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Thursday, September 12, 2019, at approximately 10:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding a theft from her vehicle. She said her car was parked in her driveway on the 900 block of Ash Street, Monroe. She said 2.00 dollars in quarters were taken from the vehicle along with a card wallet, which contained multiple store loyalty cards. She said this happened between 7:30 P.M. and 9:30 A.M.
9/19/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Wednesday September 11th, 2019 at about 6:30 AM, vehicle 1 was south on Highway 223 near milepost #26 when the driver fell asleep and crashed his car, rolling it into the ditch. The driver was not injured, but his vehicle was totaled.
9/19/19 - LURING A MINOR; ONLINE SEXUAL CORRUPTION OF A CHILD 1.  On Monday, September 9, 2019, at about 1:25 P.M., deputies arrested Jon Eugene Nissly, 46, for taking a substantial step toward physically meeting a thirteen year-old, female child to engage in sexual contact.
9/19/19 - FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; DELIVER COCAINE; POSS HEROIN (MISD); POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT’L SUB SCH 1; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE; IDENTITY THEFT.  On August 23, 2019, at around 9:08 P.M., deputies contacted Dylan Lee MENDELL, 21, in the parking lot of the 300 block of NW 2nd St. MENDELL was later arrested for a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for Delivery of Heroin, Bail $500,000. MENDELL was also arrested, cited and released for Unlawful Delivery of Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of LSD, Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon (Throwing Knives), and Identity Theft. He was lodged for the warrant at the Benton County Jail.
9/19/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On August 13, 2019 at around 6:41 P.M., deputies contacted Krystle Leann COPES, 34, at Hwy 228 and I5. COPES was issued a citation for a confirmed warrant.
9/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, September 16, 2019, at about 11:10 am, deputies were dispatched to Benton County Parole and Probation for a report of a warrant service. Deputies spoke with Donny Lee Smith, 32, in the lobby. Smith had a confirmed warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Contempt of Court, bail $10,000.00. Deputies issued Smith a criminal citation to appear and released him.
9/17/19 - THEFT 1 - LOST/MISLAID PROPERTY.  On Friday, September 13th 2019, at about 8:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a theft near the 37000 block of Soap Creek Road, Corvallis. Deputies spoke with the complainant on the phone who said he left a drone, camera lens, and cell phone on the property and someone took it. He said he had a tracker on his phone and it was pinging to an area near 27th Avenue and Sherman in Albany. Deputies responded to the location and located his property. The resident said she found the items on the side of the road and was going to return it in the morning. She gave deputies the items and they returned them to the owner.
9/17/19 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On Thursday, September 12th, 2019, at about 3:00 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near 100 N 13th St in Philomath. The driver, TODD ALLEN DROURR, 60, was arrested for Violation of a Restraining Order after the passenger in the vehicle was idenfied as the victim.
9/17/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at about 5:15 P.M. deputies were dispatched to an injury crash on Highway 20 near Granger. Vehicle 1 attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 from Granger. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2, which was traveling west.
9/16/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Sunday, September 15, at about 6:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to 53rd St. and Walnut Blvd. for a report of a trespass. Dispatched advised a vehicle occupied by a male and female with purple hair, parked and walked into the wooded area off West Hills Rd. and 53rd St. Deputies arrived at on the 3500 block of NE Lancaster St. and observed the vehicle pulled into the apartment complex. They spoke with the suspects about the issue and told them they would be arrested if they went into the tree farm area and trespassed.
9/16/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, September 15th, 2019, at 10:07 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Price Creek Rd and Pit Rd, Benton County, Oregon for a single vehicle crash. The vehicle appeared to have slid off the road and was resting against a tree. There was no property damage and the vehicle appeared to have less than $2,500.00 in damage. The registered owner told deputies she was driving home and got lost. She tried to back up, and slid off the road. She was not injured.
9/16/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Sunday, September 15, 2019, at approximately 3:30am, deputies responded to an injury traffic crash on Highway 99 near milepost 80 in Corvallis.
9/16/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 9/13/19, AT APPROXIMATELY 1528, JOLLY, KENNETH, 36, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED 190 NW 4TH STREET BECAUSE HE THOUGHT HE HAD A WARRANT. JOLLY DID HAVE A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR PAROLE VIOL-ARSON, NO BAIL. HE WAS BOOKED AND LODGED.
9/16/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Friday, September 13, 2019, at approximately 1:40 P.M., deputies spoke with a woman on the phone regarding her vehicle being broken into. She said her vehicle was parked near the outhouse at Peavy Arboretum. She said she saw her vehicle at 11:00 A.M. and learned someone had broken the front passenger side window and stolen empty, reusable shopping bags and two notebooks. She told deputies the estimated the cost of the window was 200.00 dollars.
9/16/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On September 13, 2019 at approximately 12:00PM, deputies responded to the 6600 block of West Hills Rd, Corvallis, OR. The resident had been helping her sister clean out a vacant house. While cleaning the house, she located a bicycle. Deputies seized the bicycle as found property. The bicycle matched the physical description of a stolen bicycle from 2017, but there was no serial number on the stolen report. Deputies attempted to contact the probable owner, but was unable to locate him. Deputies then notified Corvallis Police Department`s Evidence Division as to the likely owner.
9/16/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 8:03 PM, deputies contacted ANGELA FILIP, 22, on the 1100 block of NW 9th St in Corvallis. Deputies arrested FILIP who had multiple outstanding warrants. FILIP was in possession of a silver Apple iPhone 6 in a gold glitter Speck brand case which she claimed to have found in a trash can while dumpster diving. The phone was seized to attempt to determine ownership information. Deputies transported FILIP to the Benton County Jail where she was booked on her warrants and subsequently released due to overcrowding. WARRANT INFO: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), $3,000 Bail; 2) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA Theft III / FTA II, No Bail; and 3) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA Assault IV, No Bail.
9/16/19 - INFO-OTHER DOCUMENTATION.  On Thursday, September 12, 2019, at approximately 3:55 P.M., deputies responded to Hyak Park for report of a subject who had fallen off a canoe and was stuck on the bank of the river a short distance from the park. Deputies deployed a sUAS to attempt to locate them and located the subject approximately one half mile upriver on the Benton County side of the river. Deptuties utilized their loudspeaker on the aircraft and were able to confirm it was the subject who was in need of help as well as that he was okay. Deputies advised him a boat was on the way to assist him and to stay there. After confirming he was okay and received messages, they communicated his location and that information to responding marine patrol Deputies and cleared the scene.
9/16/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 09-12-2019, AT 1300 HOURS, TARTT JR, DONALD RAY, 32, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET, CORVALLIS OR 97330, BECAUSE HE THOUGHT HE HAD A WARRANT. DEPUTIES LOCATED AND CONFIRMED A WARRANT OUT OF BENTON COUNTY FOR FTA-DUII, BAIL $3,000. THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON TARTT AND HE WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
9/16/19 - BCSO - ANIMAL OTHER.  On September 12, 2019, at about 6:20 a.m., deputies spoke with a man who reported he was walking on in the forest past the "540" on the first trail to the right when he encountered a cougar that growled or hissed at him. He was on the trail when he stopped to “smoke a bowl” of marijuana before having the close encounter with the cougar. The man and the Cougar ran in separate directions after he yelled at the cat to scare it off. He then got lost in the forest, stayed the night, lost his keys, wallet, "flip flop" sandals, marijuana pipe, and cigarettes. The man found his way back to the 540 gate at about 5:30 a.m. Deputies were able to locate some of his lost property.

A resident was the victim of ongoing thefts from his cash box at that location since he reported the first on August 14, 2019. The resident told deputies had been stolen from once again, earlier that morning. Deputies identified the suspect in this incident, as well as an additional theft on September 2, as CHRISTOPHER BETTELYOUN, 34, from surveillance camera footage. BETTELYOUN was located and arrested on September 12 and charged in connection with both thefts.
9/12/19 - DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, September 11th, 2019, at about 11:25 PM, deputies stopped DAVID LEWIS SANDERS, 47, on Main St. near 26th St and arrested him on four outstanding Warrants and for Driving While Revoked (Misdemeanor).
9/12/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM.  On September 11, 2019, at about 2:30 PM, deputies responded to the 7600 block of NW Springhill Rd. for a criminal mischief. A resident stated that sometime in the last two days someone ran over the wooden sign near the road displaying his farm name.
9/12/19 - DELIVER METH; DUII – DRUGS; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE; ELUDE VEHICLE; PAROLE VIOLATION – WARRANT; ELUDE FOOT; POSS HEROIN (FELONY); POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY).  On Sunday, September 8, 2019, at approximately 12:40am, deputies arrested Ronald WICK, 35, after he attempted to elude deputies from a traffic stop at Philomath Boulevard and Technology Loop.
9/11/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  ON 9/10/2019, BRACAMONTES, FELIPE, 33, WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE JAIL. DEPUTIES FOUND A WARRANT THROUGH PHILOMATH MUNI FOR FTC-DWS. BRACAMONTES WAS GIVEN A NEW COURT DATE AND TIME FOR THE ABOVE WARRANT.
9/11/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at approximately 9:40 A.M., Vehicle 1, was south on Independence Highway near Highway 20. For unknown reasons, Vehicle 1 did not stop in time before crashing into the rear of vehicle 2, a Republic Services Garbage Truck, which was stopped in traffic waiting to turn onto Highway 20. The driver of Vehicle 1 was cited for Careless Driving
9/11/19 - SEARCH AND RESCUE-NOT MISSING.  On September 7, 2019, at around 1:50 p.m., deputies were near river mile (RM) 160 when a boater approached them saying there was a man in the water who looked confused and disoriented. Deputies followed the boater to the described location and located an adult male leaning against the bank waist deep in the water. The man appeared extremely disoriented and hypothermic. They pulled him out of the water and into their patrol boat and transported him to McCartney Boat Ramp. Medics from Harrisburg Fire Department met them and determined that the man needed to be transported to a hospital due to his developing medical condition. Corvallis Fire arrived at McCartney Boat Ramp at 3:01 p.m. and transported the man to Good Samaritan Hospital.
9/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, September 7, at about 7:40 P.M., deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to signal when changing lanes at Highway 20 near milepost 37. 9/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, September 7, at about 7:40 P.M., deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to signal when changing lanes at Highway 20 near milepost 37. Deputies arrested Issac James, 21, for an Albany Municipal Court warrant for 7.84.040-Keeping Junk, No Bail. James was cited and released.
9/10/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT; PROBATION VIOLATION; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On September 7, 2019, at about 5:37 pm, deputies stopped Robert Dantley McDaniel, 33, on Airlie Rd near HWY 99W. McDaniel had three confirmed warrants for his arrest: 1)Linn County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-Dangerous Drugs, no bail; 2)Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-Giving False Info, bail $3000; and 3)Lebanon Muni Court warrant for Probation Violation-Disorderly Conduct, bail $3550. Deputies arrested McDaniel and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
9/10/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT.  On Saturday, September 7, 2019, at about 6:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft from a vehicle at 6400 NW Oak Creek Road, near Corvallis. Deputies spoke with a woman regarding her bag being stolen from her car while she was at Bald Hill Park, while her car was parked on the Oak Creek Road parking lot. She said she came out to her car about 4:30 when she saw her window was broken. She said her black tote bag was stolen out of her car and only contained various workout cloths, nothing of substantial value. She estimated her window to cost approximately $350.00 dollars to replace. Deputies spoke to her about not leaving bags or valuables in plain view and provided her with a case number.
9/10/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT.  On Saturday, September 7, 2019, at about 4:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft from a vehicle on the 6500 block of SW Reservoir Road, near Philomath. They arrived and spoke with a woman who said she had gone hiking on bald hill and was gone for about an hour. She said when she returned she saw her car was broken in to and her passenger side window was broken, which she estimated to cost about $350.00 dollars to replace. She said a black North Face backpack was stolen, which contained an envelope with $700.00 dollars inside it and a couple adult chapter books.
9/10/19 - THEFT 2 – OTHER.  On Saturday, September 7, 2019, at about 1:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a fraud complaint at the 3200 block of N.W. Lewisburg Avenue. Deputies spoke with a man who said he transferred 410.00 dollars to someone from Publisher Clearing House. He said he knew it was a scam after they asked for an additional 1,800.00 dollars. He added that he transferred the money from Walmart and would speak to their fraud department regarding the scam.
9/10/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On September 6, 2019 at around 6:15 P.M., deputies contacted Angelica Elaine HART, 25, at the 100 block of SW B Ave after learning she had a warrant. HART was transported to the Benton County Jail.
9/10/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; WARRANT ARREST.  On September 6, 2019, at about 3:00 PM, deputies responded to the 6600 block of SW West Hills Rd. for a suspicious circumstance. Deputies arrested Trevor Jones, 25; Daniel Hopkins, 31; Adrian Gomez, 39; and Santana Lewis, 23, for criminal trespass because they were squatting in an abandoned house. Trevor was also cited and released on a Corvallis municipal warrant for FTA Trespass.
9/10/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Friday, September 6, 2019, at approximately 2:00 PM, a citizen came to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office at 180 NW 5th Street in Corvallis and turned in a firearm she found off the south side of Harlan Road near Mile Post 17 in Lincoln County. The firearm was a stainless Ruger SR9C 9mm handgun with no magazine in a black, Swiss Arms, nylon holster. It was listed as being stolen from a vehicle in Newport in April of 2016. The handgun was entered into evidence and a voicemail was left with the listed owner.
9/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at about 10:50 P.M., deputies observed a male riding a bicycle and a female carrying a leaf blower near 3rd St. and Twin Oaks Circle. The male, later identified as Tyler Rexroad, 29, approached them and told them he believed he had a warrant. Dispatch confirmed his Lincoln County Parole Violation warrant. Rexroad was transported to the Benton County Jail for processing.
9/10/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at about 7:40 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of William R. Carr Avenue and NE Laurel Drive in Adair Village when they saw a male, later identified as John Holdorf, 55, diving a "go-kart" on the street. They initiated their lights to perform a traffic stop. John began driving away from and eventually crashed his "go-kart" into a  bike near the intersection of NE Laurel Drive and NE Holley Lane. Deputies told John the reason for the stop and asked why he was driving his "go-kart" on the street. John said he was testing it. After running John’s information, John had a warrant through Albany Municipal Court for Disorderly Conduct II. Deputies arrested John and placed him in the back of their patrol car and was given a court date and time to release John on a citation in lieu of custody.
9/10/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR 2; FEL DWS.  On Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019, at 1:35 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on NW 1st St near NW Van Buren Ave, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon. The driver, Everett Carpenter, 49, was arrested for a Polk County Circuit Court Warrant, and issued a citation for Driving While Suspended Felony. Carpenter was transported to the Benton County Jail.
9/10/19 - UNLAW POSS OF FIREARM; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY); FAIL TO APPEAR.  On Monday, September 2nd, 2019, at 10:39 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Alpine Rd just west of Hwy 99w, Monroe, Benton County, Oregon. Christopher Nichols (passenger), 32, was arrested for a Felony Warrant out of Lane County Circuit Court, and cited for PCS-Meth. Danni Fielder (driver), 37, was issued criminal citations for two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and two counts of PCS-Schedule II. Nichols was transported to the Lane County Jail.
9/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, September 8, 2019, at about 12:40 P.M., deputies spoke with Susan Marie Mason, 57, on 1st street, near Tyler Avenue in Corvallis and arrested her for a confirmed Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA - Theft II, No Bail. Mason was issued a citation with a court date provided by the jail and released.
9/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, September 7th, 2019, at 11:53 p.m., deputies responded to the 96000 block of Lobster Creek Rd, Alsea, Benton County, Oregon for a motor vehicle crash. Upon arriving, deputies located a vehicle stuck in the ditch. The vehicle was not damaged, there was no property damage, and the driver was not present.
9/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On September 5, 2019, at about 4:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to HWY 20 at Pilkington for a non-injury four-vehicle traffic crash. All vehicles were westbound on HWY 20. Vehicle 1 slowed and was attempting to turn left onto Pilkington. Vehicle 3 was behind vehicle 2, when the driver of the vehicle 4 stated he took his eyes off the road for a moment and when he looked up, he was unable to stop in time. Vehicle 4 crashed into the back of vehicle 3, which hit the back of vehicle 2, which in turn hit the back end of vehicle 1.
9/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On September 5, 2019 at about 8:00 a.m., deputies responded to a crash at Highway 20 and Granger. No one was injured.
9/9/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at about 8:45 P.M., deputies arrived to the 26000 block of Old River Rd for a theft. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a citizen who stated a battery for his "Blue Sweeper" was stolen. He stated the battery could have been stolen anytime between 9/4 and weeks ago.
9/9/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at about 4:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of NE Merloy Avenue for an unknown problem, possibly a medical emergency. Two intoxicated adults were arguing. Parties agreed to separate.
9/9/19 - THEFT 1.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at about 1:15 P.M., deputies spoke with a man by phone who stated on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, between 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M., someone stole his canoe from the Willamette River near milepost 132. He had no suspect information and stated it was a cedar wee lasie canoe with a benny beaver sticker.
9/9/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, deputies spoke with a man in the LEC lobby. He stated sometime between the afternoon of September 3, 2019 and the morning of September 4, 2019, someone entered his pickup truck and stole two Harley Davidson knives and some camera equipment from the 1900 block of NE Seavy Ave, Corvallis.
9/9/19 - HARASSMENT- DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Saturday, August 31, 2019, at approximately 11pm, deputies arrested Carrie CAIN, 44, for criminal trespass second degree and harassment on the 23000 block of Hwy 99W, near Junction City. She was cited and released for these charges.
9/9/19 - ROBBERY 3 – OTHER; THEFT 2 – OTHER; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Saturday, August 31, 2019, at about 10:25 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of N.E. Seavy Avenue, Corvallis, Oregon for a report of a theft. Deputies spoke with a resident who said that he confronted a white male in his thirties wearing all blue who walked out of his neighbor’s yard carrying a leaf blower and chainsaw. He also said that the male walked through him, by lowering his shoulder, and pushing through. He said he told his neighbor, who noticed that his leaf blower and chainsaw were missing.
9/9/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE.  On August 30, 2019 at about 2:20 a.m., deputies spoke to a citizen by phone who reported someone called and said she won a prize but needed to send money to them first. She sent a check; however, was able to recover the check at FedEx before it was actually mailed.
9/9/19 - MISSING PERSON.  On August 31st, 2019, at 2:50 p.m., deputies were dispatched to assist Polk County with a water rescue. Once on scene, they began working under Polk County Incident Command to assist with the search for a missing tuber. Over the course of 2 days (August 31st to September 1st), deputies used multiple search techniques including: visual, underwater camera, aerial drone, and side scan sonar to assist with search efforts. They also cleared logs and debris from the water to enhance boat access to the search area, acted as spotters for helicopters, and acted as safety observers for divers.
9/9/19 – LITTERING.  On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at about 10:15 A.M., deputies were dispatched to an Alsea business for a littering complaint near the Salmonberry Road gate. Deputies spoke with an employee who said workers found two to three yards of garbage on their property and that she found receipts in the garbage that had contact information. Deputies attempted to locate any contact information, but were unable to locate anything.
9/5/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at about 3:00 P.M., deputies arrested Bobby Wade Loftis, 45, in the lobby of the LEC for failure to register as a sex offender. Bobby was cited and released.
9/5/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJURY.  On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, vehicle #1 was driving out of the Adair County Park. Vehicle #1 pressed on the brake pedal but the vehicle did not slow down. Vehicle #1 turned left (east) then drove over a slight hill, then down the other side of the hill into the Adair County Disc Golf course. Vehicle #1 collided with a metal disc golf basket. Vehicle #1 stopped after it drove about 100 feet into bushes. The driver of vehicle #1 stated his brakes felt odd a week or two prior, during very hot weather.
9/5/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at about 8:50 A.M., the driver of Vehicle #1 reached down to pick his phone from the floor. Vehicle #1 was driving west on Alpine Cutoff Road near Orchard Tract Road. Vehicle #1 drove off the road and into a power pole. One passenger reported neck pain, but declined transport to the hospital.
9/5/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, September 2, 2019, at about 3:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to Alpine Road near Green Peak Road for a motorcycle crash. They arrived and observed the rider lying in the ditch on the north side of the roadway near a motorcycle. The rider was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by ambulance
9/5/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2.  On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at about 11:40 PM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person throwing rocks at cars on Highway 20 near milepost 8, near Albany. Deputies later contacted Joseph Eldabaa, 26, on Highway 20 near milepost 6, matching the description from multiple victims. Joseph was later arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was book and lodged. Joseph was charged with three counts of Disorderly Conduct II and two counts of Criminal Mischief II.
9/5/19 - DUII Drugs.  On Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at approximately 1:35 am, deputies arrested Todd RAMSEY, 44, for driving under the influence of drugs and failure to carry or present an operator’s license.
9/4/19 - PAROLE VIOLATION.  On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at approximately 11:15pm, deputies arrested Monique BISHOP, 28, for a warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies transported her to the Linn County Jail without incident.
9/4/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On 09/03/19, Breeden, Matthew, 32, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail. Breeden had a Benton Co Circuit warrant for FTA Elude. Breeden also had a Lebanon Municipal warrant for FTA Reckless endangering. Jail Deputies confirmed these warrants and served them on Breeden.
9/4/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On August 28, 2019, at around 10:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of 4700 NW Springhill Drive in Albany for a crash. Neighbors in the area reported hearing a car go off the road, glass breaking, with a loud collision sound. Witness did see an unknown make and model sedan drive north on NW Springhill Drive. Deputies checked the area and could not locate any public property damage or the involved vehicle as it had left the area.
9/4/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 29, 2019, at about 5:33 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Highway 20 near MP 1. The driver was eastbound on Highway 20 when he failed to negotiate a curve. He stated one of his tires began to wobble, causing him to fishtail. The vehicle entered the right ditch and rolled. The vehicle damaged a box on the side of the road belonging to a communications company.
9/4/19 - SEARCH AND RESCUE-NOT MISSING.  On August 29th, at 4:45pm, marine deputies were near River Mile 140 when they witnessed a float tube with two passengers floating towards a large strainer on the eastern river bank. Deputies ran their patrol boat onto the logs blocking the strainer and climbed on top of it to assist the two floaters, who at that point been caught up in the strainer. They climbed from the logs in the strainer onto the river bank and pulled one adult male and one adult female out of the strainer and up onto the river bank. Neither one had any major injuries. Deputies repositioned the boat to a safer spot to load both the floaters and their float tube, which at that point had lost some air. They then assisted the male and female across the boulder-laden riverbank and loaded them onto the patrol boat. Both deputies determined that it was not safe for the floaters to continue going down river at that point, so they transported them on the patrol boat to Michael’s Landing, which is where they had intended to float to.
9/4/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 9:43 AM, deputies attempted to perform a probation home check on DARIUS MICHAEL PANKNIN, 25. PANKNIN was not at the residence, but deputies located a high-end mountain bike in plain view, which was confirmed as having been stolen from a recent residential burglary. The bicycle, a Transition Patrol full-suspension mountain bike worth $6,000, was seized and later returned to its owner.
9/4/19 - INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT; RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; ANIMAL ABUSE 1.  On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at about 5:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 3700 block of NE Highway 20 for a report of animal abuse. Andrew May, 28, was arrested for Attempted Animal Abuse I, Resisting Arrest and Interfering with a Peace Officer. May was transported to the Benton County Jail for lodging and was later released by the jail.
9/4/19 - SEARCH AND RESCUE-NOT MISSING.  On August 18th, at 7:45pm, marine deputies were notified that there was a call out for a water rescue near river mile 127.3. They launched their boat at 7:55pm at Crystal Lake Boat Ramp. They arrived at RM 127.3 at 8:07pm and saw Albany Firefighters loading 2 elderly individuals onto their Rescue Jet Skis. They then saw 1 adult male and 1 female child standing on the river bank upstream from the Albany firefighters with a partially deflated raft. Deputies loaded the adult male and female child onto their boat and contacted the Albany firefighters. The Albany firefighters requested that they take the 2 individuals to Hyak Park, so they followed the Albany Rescue Jet Ski there. Once at Hyak Park, they dropped off the adult male and female child.
9/4/19 - SEARCH AND RESCUE-NOT MISSING.  On July 28th, at 11:04am, deputies were dispatched to a water assist at river mile 42. They left the Crystal Lake Boat Ramp immediately and arrived at RM142 at 11:50.  They found 6 drift boats pulled up on the river banks on both sides of the river, and a small crowd of 8 people flagging them down on the east river bank. When they pulled up on the river bank, they found 1 adult male who explained that he had tipped over in his kayak and that it was stuck in a strainer about 200 feet upstream. Deputies pulled the boat up to the strainer and pulled his kayak free and returned his kayak and belongings to him at 12:07pm.
9/3/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS.  On September 2, 2019, deputies spoke to a citizen, who stated on the morning of September 1, 2019, his car alarm went off while parked in his driveway. He later observed finger smudges on two of his vehicle`s windows. Entry was not made into either vehicle.
9/3/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, September 1, 2019, at about 9:00 A.M., at the intersection of Technology Loop and Research Way, deputies arrested Richard Allen Sather, 29, for a confirmed warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court. Richard was issued a citation and released. Richard was issued a citation for driving while suspended – Violation.
9/3/19 - DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Saturday, August 31, 2019, at about 8:05 PM, deputies were on routine patrol in the area of 4th St and Jackson Avenue when they stopped a vehicle for driving the wrong way down Jackson Avenue. The car was being driven by Allison Davids, 24, who was later arrested for DUII and Reckless driving, Allison had a 0.15 %BAC.
9/3/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY).  On August 30, 2019, at 8:51 PM, deputies stopped Christina Mayfield, 58, on Philomath Boulevard near 15th Street in Corvallis, for Failure to Drive within Lane. Mayfield was Driving While Suspended and Driving Uninsured. Mayfield was in Possession of Methamphetamine. Mayfield was cited and released from the scene.
9/3/19 - FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION.  On August 30, 2019, at about 3:07 a.m., deputies stopped a male with a bike tire in his hand going through a pile of ODOT refuse on NW Buchanon Ave near NW 3rd St. Billy Wayne Hatch Jr., 42,  was cited and released for a Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant, Bail $7210, for FTA on a Criminal Citation. He was warned for Attempted Theft of Mislaid Property.
9/3/19 - FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; PAROLE VIOLATION – WARRANT. On August 29, 2019, at 10:19 PM, deputies arrested Tony Adams, 51, on the 700 block of SW 3rd Street in Corvallis. Adams had a confirmed warrant out of the Oregon State Parole Board for Burglary, no bail. Adams was additionally charged with Providing False Information to a Peace Officer. Adams was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
9/3/19 - THEFT 2 - FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at about 5:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft at Hyak Park, near Albany. Deputies arrived and spoke to a woman who said her iPhone 6s was stolen out of her car. The vehicle had damage to the passenger side window and is where the suspect took the phone from. she said she was floating the river for the past 3 hours and came back to find her phone missing. She estimated the phone to cost $500 dollars to replace. There were no witnesses in the area who might have seen what happened.
9/3/19 - THEFT 3.  On August 24, 2019, at 6:43 AM, deputies stopped Tony Adams, 51, in an alleyway near 3rd Street and B Avenue in Corvallis. They observed Adams digging through peoples’ recycling bins and trash cans for refundable cans. Adams provided deputies with a false name and was arrested for Theft III. Adams was lodged at the Benton County Jail for Theft III. Adams fingerprints came back and he had a State Wide Felony Warrant. Deputies later arrested Adams on the warrant.
9/3/19 – UUV; POSS STOLEN VEHICLE.  On Friday, August 23, 2019, at 5:33 PM, deputies located a stolen motorcycle in the area of SW Twin Oaks Circle & SW Pleasant Place in Corvallis. The motorcycle had been taken from NW 16th Street a month prior. Detectives arrested DARIUS PANKNIN, 25, after they observed him walking toward the motorcycle carrying a helmet and proving his claims of having another motorcycle in the area which belonged to him were untrue. PANKNIN was also in possession of a key that fit a lock attached to the motorcycle`s front brake caliper. PANKNIN was booked at the Benton County Jail where he was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
9/3/19 – DUII.  On August 22, 2019, at around 04:25 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near milepost 92 for a report of motor vehicle accident. They arrived and found a tow company attempting to pull a compact car out of the ditch. Deputies contacted the driver, Regan Ramirez, 21, who had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Ramirez failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUII. She was transported to the Sheriff`s Office where she took a breath test. She blew a test result of 0.11% BAC.
8/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On August 28, 2019, at about 2:20 PM, deputies responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at Bellfountain Rd. and SW Airport Ave.
8/30/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at about 5:25 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Highland Drive for the report of a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival Corvallis Fire was already on scene. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for an apparent broken wrist.
8/29/19 - MENACING - AGG ASLT.  On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at about 7:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance on Arnold Ave in Adair Village. A man threatened another man by saying he had a gun. Brittian Bowling, 31, was arrested for Menacing, issued a citation, and released from the jail.
8/29/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER.  On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at about 11:45 A.M., deputies arrested Stanley Pomaikai, 36, for failing to register as a sex offender. Stanley was in custody at the benton county jail. Stanley had not registered since 2017.
8/29/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1.  On August 27, 2019, at around 10:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to 200 NW 53rd Street for a trespass. The resident reported an unknown male walked into her house and said he was looking for a person named "Al." The suspect then asked for a cigarette. The resident told the suspect "get the f*** out of here" and the suspect left in an unknown direction. Deputies searched the trailer park and were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description.
8/29/19 - THEFT 2 – BICYCLE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, August 26, 2019 at about 10:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Evergreen Rd. for a prowler in progress. The resident said he heard two persons outside of his house and discovered his bicycle had been moved from the previous spot he placed it. Deputies were unable to find any further evidence linking anyone to the attempted theft, or trespass.
8/29/19 - POSS HEROIN (MISD); INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - DIS CONDUCT; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD).  On Thursday, August 15, 2019, at approximately 4:39 PM, deputies observed KAYLA RAMOS, 27, and TRISTAN FELDNER, 24, with their vehicle at the Corvallis Post Office at 311 SW 2nd Street. Deputies contacted and arrested RAMOS after Dispatch informed she had a confirmed misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. RAMOS and FELDNER were in possession of small quantities of Heroin, Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. RAMOS was booked at the Benton County Jail on her warrant and charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor). FELDNER was booked at the Benton County Jail and charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor) and Interfering with a Peace Officer. Both were subsequently released from jail due to overcrowding.
8/28/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, August 26th, 2019, at about 10:45 PM, deputies contacted STEVEN MARKS, 29, who was sleeping with his property on the bench in front of the Benton County Commissioner`s Office. MARKS was trespassed from the property.
8/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, August 26, 2019, at about 6:00 P.M., deputies arrested Erin W. Mcclung, 27, at the intersection of West Hills Road and Sylvia Street, for an Albany Municipal Court Warrant for FTA-Theft II, Bail $6,970. Erin was issued a citation and released with a court date.
8/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, August 26, 2019, at about 9:50 A.M., deputies arrested Victor Coronado-Martinez, 26, for FTA-DUII out of Linn County Circuit Court. Victor was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked.
8/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST (x2).  On Monday, August 26, 2019, at about 1:30 AM, deputies were on routine patrol on Highway 34 near the Highway 34 bypass. Deputies stopped two bike riders for no lighting equipment. They spoke to Michael Blohm, 39, who later was arrested for two warrants and transported him to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
8/28/19 - THEFT 3 – SHOPLIFT.  On Monday, August 26th, 2019, at 12:53 a.m., deputies parked their patrol car at a convenience store located at 655 North Albany Rd NW, Albany, Benton County, Oregon. they sat in their patrol vehicle and watched Allan Flores, 25, conceal two candy bars in his backpack, and leave the store without paying for them. They contacted and arrested the male subject. He was cited and released on scene for Theft III.
8/28/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Sunday, August 25th, 2019, at 11:10 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle verse cow crash on Bellfountain Rd near MP 4, Benton County, Oregon. They located a vehicle facing southbound, with extensive front end damage. There was no cow in the area, but evidence the vehicle did in fact hit a cow. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Bellfountain Rd at a stated 50 MPH, driver saw a black cow in the lane of travel, and was unable to avoid hitting it. Vehicle was towed due to damage. Driver had no injuries.
8/28/19 - ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ.  On Sunday, August 25, 2019, at about 2:10 pm, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of 53rd Street and Oak Creek for a report of a crash. Unit 1 was traveling north on 53rd Street when Unit 2 turned in front of her on a bicycle. The cyclist was uninjured in the crash and there was no damage to Unit 1.
8/28/19 - PAROLE VIOLATION.  On August 24, 2019, at 12:59 AM, deputies stopped Jerry Manley, 46, on SE Richland Avenue near SE Thompson Street in Corvallis for riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the roadway. Jerry lied about his name and told them he was his brother. Jerry had a confirmed warrant out of Morrow County, Oregon for a Probation Violation, Bail $00. Jerry was taken into custody on the warrant. Jerry was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
8/28/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Friday, August 23, 2019, around 10:40 P.M., deputies told Kristie Seits she needed to leave the property of the Alsea Grange Hall located on the 27000 block of Alsea Deadwood Highway. Seits agreed to leave and stay somewhere else.
8/28/19 - THEFT 2; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT.  On Friday, August 23, 2019, at about 12:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of N.E. Garden Ave for a cold burglary. They spoke with a citizen who told them her lock box had been taken from her garden. She said that she had a lock box on a post approximately five feet high, and the lock box, containing approximately 175.00 dollars, had been cut off and the lock box was taken.
8/28/19 - PAROLE VIOLATION.  On August 22, 2019, at about 11:42 pm, deputies contacted Cristobal Markos Anzaldua, 44, trespassing in Hyak Park after hours. Anzaldua had a confirmed Oregon State Parole Board warrant for Parole Violation-Dangerous Drugs, no bail. Deputies transported Anzaldua to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
8/28/19 - RESISTING ARREST - DIS CONDUCT; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On August 22, 2019, at about 4:55 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Parole and Probation because Sabrina Fallin, 38, was in the building and had been previously trespassed multiple times. Sabrina tried to leave the building when she saw deputies. They had to physically stop her from leaving the building by grabbing and handcuffing her. She was transported to the jail where she was lodged for Resisting Arrest and Criminal Trespass II.
8/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On August 22, 2019, at about noon at Takena Landing, deputies contacted and arrested Joshua Dean, 24, for a probation violation warrant out of Linn County.
8/28/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at approximately 4:02 PM, Detectives went to the 200 block of Harrison Street NE in Albany to locate TARAH HYRE, 31, who had multiple confirmed misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. HYRE was arrested without incident and transported to the Linn County Jail where she was booked and lodged. Warrant info: THEFT 3, FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, PROBATION VIOLATION (x3), FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT (x3).
8/21/19 - POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (FELONY).  On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at approximately 12:40am, deputies stopped Donalyn HOWARD, 49, for a traffic violation near Western Boulevard and Grove. Deputies cited and released HOWARD for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
8/21/19 - BCSO - UNNECESSARY NOISE.  On August 17, 2019, at about 9:30 PM, deputies responded to a noise complaint on the 3600 block of NW Eagle View Drive, in North Albany. Deputies arrived to a large party and live band. The party consisted of about 100 skate boarders and loud rock music. Deputies spoke to the homeowner about shutting the party down. The man was very upset and apprehensive, but eventually understood and elected to stop the party but informed the people were camping on his property. Deputies told him if they were called out again for noise after 10 PM, he would be arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He said he understood and began shutting down the party.
8/21/19 - ASSAULT 4 – MIS.  On Sunday, August 18, 2019, at about 3:45 pm, deputies observed Jason Jon Feld, 46, head-butt a man on the sidewalk near Jefferson Avenue and 1st Street. Deputies arrested Feld for Assault IV and transported Feld to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
8/21/19 - INFO-SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE.  On August 18, 2019, at about 5:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of NW Blacktail Trail Drive, near Corvallis for found property. Deputies arrived and spoke to a resident who showed them a small fridge left on his property. The fridge had a used bong inside but was otherwise empty.
8/21/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Sunday, August 18, 2019, around 6:00 P.M., deputies met the Lincoln County Sheriff`s Office near the intersection of Harlan Road and Burnt Woods road to assist with transporting their arrestees. Benjamin Troy Ross, 57, had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTC-DWS-Misdemeanor, Bail: $931.00. Deputies issued Ross a criminal citation to appear at the Albany Municipal Court. Ross was released on scene.
8/21/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, August 18th, 2019, at about 7:45 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street near 26th Street for a traffic violation and arrested the driver, GARY LEO HOUSE, 28, on an outstanding Linn County Circuit court warrant. He was taken to the Linn County Jail.
8/21/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, August 19, 2019, at about 7:00 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 at Granger Avenue for a report of an injury crash.  Deputies determined unit 1 was turning east onto Highway 20 from Granger Avenue and failed to make certain it was clear to safely pull out into traffic. Unit 2 was westbound on Highway 20 and crashed into unit 1. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
8/21/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Monday, August 19, 2019 at about 2:00 P.M., deputies spoke to a citizen at her residence on the 5200 block of NE Laurel Drive. She stated the Adair code enforcement officer came onto her property and did not leave when told to. The code enforcement officer stated he was not on her property and was only taking pictures from the sidewalk.
8/21/19 - MENACING - SIMPLE ASLT; DUII; ASSAULT 2; RECKLESS ENDANGERING - SIMPLE ASLT.  On Monday, August 19th, 2019, at 11:21 p.m., deputies responded to the area of NW Sulphur Springs Rd and Soap Creek Rd, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a motor vehicle crash, and possible domestic disturbance. The crash was a two-vehicle crash. Omar Fuentes, 35, was chasing a woman in her vehicle, stemming from an argument. The woman crashed into a tree. The man was arrested for Att-Assault II, Menacing, DUII, and Reckless Endangering.
8/21/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ. On Friday, August 16th, 2019, at about 3:50 P.M., a man was driving south on Bellfountain Road near Holiday lane when he drove off the road, and struck a group of trees. He told deputies that he drove off the road to avoid a group of raccoons.
8/21/19 - THEFT 2 – DECEPTION. On Friday, August 16, 2019, at approximately 2:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a man regarding fraudulent charges on his mother’s bank statement. He said that his mother had sent money to a corporation in Jamaica totaling approximately 400.00 dollars. He noticed that the charges were fraudulent, and called his mother’s bank to report it as such, but wanted to file a police report as well.
8/21/19 - THEFT 3 - FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM. On Thursday, August 15, 2019, at about 12:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a car break in at Peavy Arboretum. The owner of the vehicle said the only thing missing from the car was a bag with sunscreen and waterbottle.
8/21/19 - BURGLARY 2 – BUSINESS; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM. On August 14th, 2019, at about 9:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to NE Garden and Highway 20 for a Cold Burglary. It was reported that nothing was missing, but his door was damaged during the entry. Deputies located some damage on the door and the doorframe.
8/19/19 - UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM.  On August 15, 2019, at about 4 pm, deputies were dispatched to an UEMV at Crescent Valley High School. The man stated he parked his vehicle in the north (back) lot at around 7 am. When he returned, the front passenger side window was broken out and that nothing was taken.
8/19/19 – LITTERING.  On July 31, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious package that was dumped near the 800 Gate on Oregon State School of Forestry property. Deputies drove to the gate and the item was a box of spoiled meat in a Van Vleet Meat Company box that was decomposing. Deputies contacted OSU and had them pick up the box and take it to the dump.
8/16/19 - FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER- PROP DAMAGE.  On August 13, 2019, at around 02:55 am, deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of NE Seavy Circle in Corvallis for a pick-up truck that struck a parked car. The caller reported the truck left the area without stopping. Witnesses reported a white colored pickup truck with canopy sped off when he ran outside. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the pickup truck.
8/16/19 - BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; THEFT 2.  On August 12, 2019, at about 8:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 1400 block of SE Alexander Avenue, In Corvallis. Deputies spoke to a complainant, who said his bike was stolen between 1- 3 days prior. He said his bike, a custom painted white and blue Cannondale road bike, had been stolen from his shed in the past few days. He said he did not know when or who took the bike and the shed did not have doors preventing anyone from seeing the bike. He said the bike costs around $900.00 to replace and did not have the serial number.
8/16/19 – THEFT 1.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 9:00 P.M., deputies spoke with a man by telephone. He stated he had recently went to a cell phone company to switch his account from his deceased wife’s name into his name. He discovered someone had purchased an iPhone on his account valued at $1,100. He needed a case number regarding the incident.
8/16/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 8:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched Highway 20 near Hyak Park for a crash. The driver crashed her vehicle on the north side ditch of Highway 20. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
8/16/19 – FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD.  On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies spoke to a woman by phone regarding $5,000 charged to her bank account. She had previously talked to her bank and needed a case number.
8/16/19 – DUII.  On Sunday, August 11, 2019 at approximately 11:30 pm, I arrested Logan WISE, 22, for driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He provided a breath sample of 0.24%.
8/16/19 – CARRY CONCEALED WEAPON; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; DUII DRUGS.  On August 11th, 2019, at 12:43 AM, deputies stopped Douglas Klein, 52, on West Hills Road near N 19th Street in Philomath for traveling 67 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour speed zone. They later arrested Klein for DUII after I determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Klein was in possession of a concealed weapon and Methamphetamine during the arrest. Klien was cited and released for DUII, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
8/16/19 – DUII; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Saturday, August 10, 2019, around 7:30 P.M., deputies arrested Anthony Scott Davis, 47, for DUII after he ran into the ditch on Highway 34 near Hayden Road. Davis refused a breath sample. A search warrant for blood was obtained. Davis was booked into the Benton County Jail for DUII, Reckless Driving and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
8/16/19 – CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2. On Saturday, August 10, 2019, at about 12:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 34 near mile post 38 for a report of illegal camping. Deputies arrived and spoke with the campers. They admitted to camping overnight in the day use area and agreed to move to a campground.
8/16/19 - POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 1; DUII; POSS COCAINE; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (MISD).  On Saturday, August 10th, 2019, at 1:42 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Hills Rd and N 19th St, Philomath, Benton County, Oregon. The driver, McKenzy Johnson, 18, was arrested for DUII (0.09 % BAC), PCS-Schedule 1 (LSD), PCS-Cocaine, and PCS-Methamphetamine. Johnson was issued citations for all charges and released.
8/16/19 – RECKLESS ENDANGERING; POSS/MANUF/DEL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE SCHUDULE 4; DUII DRUGS.  On August 8, 2019, at about 7 pm, deputies stopped Amanda Jean Gallegos, 28, at the ODOT office on Philomath Blvd after she was called in as a possible intoxicated driver. Deputies arrested Gallegos for DUII after it was determined she was impaired and unable to operate a motor vehicle safely. Gallegos was released to a sober driver.
8/16/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; DUII; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at about 8:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of NW Highland Dr. for an injury crash. The driver was traveling north on NW Highland Dr. near Crescent Valley High School and crashed her vehicle into multiple trees on the east side of the road. Corvallis Medics transported the driver to Good Samaritan Hospital for her injuries. Deputies applied for and were granted a searched warrant for her blood and urine. The driver was cited for DUII and Criminal Mischief I.
8/16/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Tuesday, August 6 2019 at approximately 12:50 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99 and Mountain View for a report of a roll over crash. The driver was traveling too fast to maintain control of his vehicle and crashed into the ditch on the west shoulder of Highway 99.
8/16/19 – POSS METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Monday August 5, 2019, at about 9:20 P.M., deputies observed a vehicle parked at Takena Landing with a male standing outside of it. The male, later identified as Darrell Thompson, 63, was cited for PCS - Methamphetamine. Deputies provided Thompson a copy of his citation.
8/14/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Thursday, August 8, 2019, at approximately 5:40 PM, detectives located a stolen bike at a campsite on the east side of Pioneer Park in Corvallis. The bicycle was a light blue, Specialized brand, women`s road bike worth approximately $1,650 that was recently stolen from the front of a Corvallis business.  Deputies returned the bicycle to its owner.
8/14/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 8, 2019 at about 4:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a hit and run that occurred on Elks Dr. at HWY 99W. Unit 1 was stopped at the stop sign with Unit 2 stopped behind it. The driver of unit 1 stated Unit 2 ran into the back of her vehicle when it appeared she was going to go but ended up stopping. Unit 1 had a minor stuff from Unit 2’s front license plate. The driver of Unit 2 later stated he did not know he had hit Unit 1. Deputies assisted with driver and insurance information exchange.
8/14/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at about 10:45 am, deputies stopped a vehicle for failure to maintain its lane of travel and later arrested the driver, John Edward Blackburn, 38, for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Blackburn`s blood alcohol content was 0.15%. Blackburn was later released to a sober friend.
8/12/19 - PAROLE VIOLATION – WARRANT.  On August 10, 2019, at 6:10 AM, deputies stopped Darius Panknin, 25, on SW Washington Avenue near SW 15th Street in Corvallis for failing to signal a turn. Panknin had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Probation Violation/ Shoplift, Bail $5,000. Panknin was issued a new court date and released.
8/12/19 - POSS BURGLARS TOOLS; FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT.  On Thursday, August 8, 2019, at approximately 5:40 PM, deputies contacted and arrested GARRETT CASPINO, near Pioneer Park in Corvallis. CASPINO had multiple felony confirmed warrants for his arrest. CASPINO was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail on his warrants. CASPINO was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Burglary Tools. Warrant info: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Burglary II, No Bail; and 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Failure to Appear I (X2) / FTA Criminal Trespass II, $7,500 Bail.
8/12/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 3, 2019, at about 3:15 p.m., deputies responded to a crash at Highway 20 and Lilly Hill Road. The driver lost control of his boat trailer and jack-knifed his trailer and truck in the eastbound lanes.
8/12/19 - FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 7:38 PM, deputies contacted and arrested ZACHERY JOHNSON, 29, on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant near 300 NW 3rd St, in Corvallis. JOHNSON was issued a criminal citation with a court date in lieu of Custody for his warrant and released. Warrant info: Sweet Home Municipal Court, FTC Theft II, $10,000 Bail.
8/12/19 - PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 5:27 PM, deputies located a stolen bike at a campsite in the area of Pioneer Park in Corvallis. The bicycle was recently stolen from a bike rack on the north side of Bloss Hall, Oregon State University. Deputies transported the bicycle to the Oregon State University Department of Public Safety. An Oregon State Police Trooper took possession of the bicycle so it could later be returned to its owner.
8/9/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 8:18 PM, deputies located and arrested JOSEPH SHORES, 47, in a camp between the Marys River and the bike path in Pioneer Park in Corvallis. SHORES had five confirmed felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. SHORES was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked on his warrants. SHORES was subsequently released due to overcrowding. Warrant info: 1) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Methamphetamine, No Bail; 2) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA I / FTA Criminal Citation, No Bail; 3) Lebanon Municipal Court, PV Criminal Mischief III, $10,000 Bail; 4) Brownsville Municipal Court, FTA Criminal Citation, $7,500 Bail; and 5) Sweet Home Municipal Court, FTA Trespass I, $6,250 Bail.
8/9/19 – CONTEMPT OF COURT.  On August 8, 2019, at about 2:08 p.m., Parole and Probation Deputy Johnson requested patrol serve a Lebanon Muni Court Warrant. Deputies cited Thomas Xuan Upper, 20, for a confirmed Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant for Contempt of Court.
8/9/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 7:40 A.M., Vehicle 1 was stopped on Granger Avenue at Highway 20. Vehicle 1 saw a vehicle in the turning lane to turn right onto Granger Avenue and did not see vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 when vehicle 2 crashed into the driver’s side front door of vehicle 1.
8/9/19 – ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 7:40 A.M., Vehicle 1 was stopped on Granger Avenue at Highway 20. Vehicle 1 attempted to turn east onto Highway 20 when vehicle 2 crashed into the driver’s side front door of vehicle 1.
8/9/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at about 10:30 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Dawson Road for a reported fight. Deputies cited Cody A. Hull, 41, and Casey G. Hull, 43, for harassment.
8/9/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Monday, August 5, 2019, at about 4:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Highway 99W, near NW Arboretum Road, near Corvallis. They arrived to find car 1 parked on the side of the road with the other reported vehicle not on site. Car 1 was driving north on Highway 99W about 40 mph when traffic suddenly slowed. Car 1 attempted to slowdown but was unable and struck car 2, rear-ending the car. Car 1 caused minor damage to car 2's bumper which was described as cosmetic. Car 2 traded insurance information, continued driving and did not leave a contact number. Car 1 stated his damage was more severe and remained on scene for law enforcement.
8/9/19 – THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE.  On August 5, 2019, at about 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of NW Highway 99 for theft of a license plate. The owner already reported it to DMV and received a new license plate.
8/9/19 – DUII.  On August 3, 2019, at 2:00 AM, dispatch broadcasted a possible impaired driver traveling eastbound on Philomath Boulevard near 26th Street in Corvallis. Deputies caught up to the vehicle matching the description and stopped it on Highway 34 near milepost 3 for reasonable suspicion of DUII, after they observed the driver weaving back and forth from fog line to the center line. The driver, Benjamin Judy, 31, refused to do Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Judy was arrested after deputies determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Judy was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he refused to provide a breath sample under the Oregon Implied Consent Law. Deputies obtained a search warrant to seize a sample from him and his blood alcohol content was .13%.
8/8/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, August 5, 2019 at about 2:00 P.M. I arrested Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 48, for 4 confirmed warrants: three for Fail to Appear and one for a Probation Violation. Kathrin was transported to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office and was cited and released.
8/8/19 – DUII.  On August 3, 2019 at about 11:14 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Lewisburg near Mountain View. Matthew Richard Hughes, 37, was westbound on Lewisburg when the front right tire’s suspension gave out. Deputies arrested Hughes for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to drive safely. Hughes was transported to the Benton County Jail where his BAC was found to be .09%. Hughes was then cited and released.
8/6/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT; VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at approximately 11:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 200 NW 5rd Street for report of a female being chased by a male. Deputies arrived and spoke to JACKSON R TEGAN, 20, who was later arrested for the Violation of Release Agreement and transported to the Benton County Jail.
8/6/19 - RECKLESS DRIVING; FELONY DWS; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at about 6:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 34, near Mile post 50, near Philomath. The crash site was later discovered to be about milepost 46. The vehicle was located off the roadway on the south side of the highway and was driven by Robert Smith, 39. Robert was outside the vehicle and was attended to by medics. The vehicle appeared to be driving west, it left its lane of travel, crossed over the eastbound lane, left the road, struck 2 trees, breaking them, and finally laid to rest on the driver’s side. Deputies spoke to Robert and he stated he thinks he fell asleep while driving. Robert was not able to recall the events due to a medical event at the time of the crash. Robert was issued arrest citations for Driving While Revoked- Felony and Reckless driving.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 3, 2019, at about 4:13 pm, deputies were dispatched to a possible injury traffic crash on South Fork Rd about 1.5 miles west of Alsea Falls. Driver 1 was westbound on South Fork Rd when she failed to negotiate a curve due to excessive speed. She crashed into the south ditch causing damage that would require the vehicle to be towed from the scene. Deputies transported the six passengers to their residence in Corvallis.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Saturday, August 3, 2019, at approximately 8:45 A.M., deputies arrived at Monroe Avenue near 4th Street for a reported crash between a Corvallis Police patrol vehicle and another vehicle. They arrived and spoke with an Officer who told deputies the other vehicle made a wide turn onto Monroe Avenue from 4th Street and struck the rear driver side of his patrol car, causing damage. Deputies cited the other driver for Failure to Drive within Lane.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 2, 2019, at about 5 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury traffic crash on HWY 99W near Granger. Vehicle #2 was southbound on HWY 99W, having just stopped at a stoplight at the intersection of Granger Ave. Vehicle #1 ran into the back of Vehicle #2, which was towing a boat. Driver of Vehicle #1 stated his foot slipped off the pedal. After the crash, only the passenger side taillight of the boat trailer was working. Vehicle #1 was towed from the scene.
8/6/19 - VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER.  On August 2, 2019 at about 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 24000 block of Territorial Highway for a report of a restraining order violation. After reviewing the restraining order, deputies arrested Austin Matthew Snyder, 22, for Violation of Restraining Order. He was lodged at Benton County Jail.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On August 1, 2019 at about 5:20 pm, deputies were responding to a call near Highway 20 and MP 4 when they came upon a non-injury traffic crash. Vehicle 1 wasn’t able to wasn’t able to stop in time when traffic slowed, and crashed into the back of vehicle 2.
8/6/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Thursday, August 1, 2019, at approximately 11:20 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the Board of Commissioner`s Office at 205 Northwest 5th Street for a reported trespass. Dispatch advised deputies a woman was in the lobby and refusing to leave. She soon left the office and was arrested by Corvallis Police for an unrelated crime. Deputies later spoke with an employee who works in the office, and was told they did not want her permanently trespassed, only moved along for the day.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Thursday, August 1st, 2019, at 7:54 a.m., deputies responded to the area of SW 53rd St and SW Reservoir Ave for a two vehicle crash. Deputies determined Veh #2 was stopped on 53rd St facing south, waiting for a traffic light to turn green. Veh #1 was traveling southbound on 53rd St, saw Veh #2 stopped, and attempted to stop. Driver of Veh #1 told deputies her brakes made a grinding noise, and they did not work. Veh #1 was unable to stop before hitting Veh #2.
8/6/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at about 8:00pm, deputies arrested Russell Zieske, 52, of Shreveport, LA, at the Benton County Fair on a warrant issued by the Florence Municipal Court for FTA Criminal Mischief II. Zieske was cited and released.
8/6/19 - HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT.  On July 31, 2019, at about 8:45 a.m., deputies issued Manuel J Pinedo, 31, a citation in lieu of custody for Harassment after he punched his cellmate in the face at the Benton County Jail for taking too long of a shower.
8/6/19 - ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ.  On Tuesday, July 30th, 2019, at 9:21 p.m., deputies responded to Marys Peak Rd / MP 8 for a single vehicle crash. It was reported there was nobody around the vehicle and the airbags were deployed. Deputies located the vehicle in the ditch and were unable to locate anybody associated with the vehicle. Based on the damage to the vehicle, it is highly unlikely the occupant(s) were injured. Deputies put caution tape on the vehicle, and left a business card with a case number under the windshield wiper.
8/6/19 - K9 TRACK.  On July 30, 2019, at 6:13 AM, deputies responded to the 1100 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis for a Burglary. The back door was pried open and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash from the location. K9 Brutus tracked and trailed to a wooded area behind Home Depot and along the Railroad Tracks. K9 Brutus lost interest behind Home Depot. Deputies searched the area for about one hour and did not locate any suspects.
8/6/19 - THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE.  On Friday, July 26, 2019, at about 1:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to multiple complaints of cars being broken into in the Lewisburg and Adair Village area. The involved members made multiple purchases with stolen cards, for a grand total of about $16,000 dollars. They dumped the items in Eugene, where deputies collected and submitted to evidence.
