Listed below are recent incidents responded to by the Benton County Sheriff's Office. This report does not reflect all Sheriff's Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allows.

WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, April 8, 2021, at about 11:00 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 34 near milepost 2 on a Black Hyundai for expired registration. Deputies contacted the driver and identified her as Chelsea Cera Banks, 35. Banks had a statewide felony warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies released Banks at the scene with a criminal citation.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at about 6:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to contact a victim regarding a vehicle break-in. She stated her purse was stolen from her 2015 Subaru Forrester while it was parked unoccupied at Peavy Arboretum. She explained she did not have any suspect info. Her purse, identification, two credit cards and $40.00 in cash were stolen.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On April 6, 2021, deputies responded to an injury motor vehicle crash on Highway 99W near Hubbard Road. VEH 1 was north bound on Hwy 99W near at MP 97.5. Veh 1 traveled into the southbound lane and struck VEH 2 at an angle driver side to driver side. VEH 2 attempted to avoid VEH 1 and rolled off the roadway in the western roadside ditch. VEH 1 crossed over the Hwy westbound through a field fence and continued several hundred feet into a farm field before stopping. A tow company eventually removed both vehicles. Driver of Veh 2 sustained minor facial injuries.
POSS METH (MISD - 2 GRAMS OR MORE); FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION - On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, around 1:30 A.M., deputies stopped a Ford Taurus on Highway 20 near milepost 42. Scott Schroeder, 42, of Toledo, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-PCS Meth and Unlawful Possession of Meth. Kara Schroeder, 42, of Toledo, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Meth. Both were issued criminal citations and released.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On April 6, 2021 around 4:30PM, deputies were dispatched to NW Independence Highway near Camp Adair Road, Monmouth, for a reported crashed vehicle in a field off the roadway. The vehicle was a black 2002 Honda Accord. The driver stated he was driving southbound on NW Independence Highway driving approximately 55MPH on his way to Lebanon. He said he was not sure how he ended up off the roadway, but was wearing his seatbelt, was not on his phone, and was not impaired. Deputies cited the driver for Driving While Suspended.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:55 PM, Vehicle #1, a blue 2014 Toyota Corolla, was traveling westbound on Highway 20 near milepost 38 when it struck a deer. Vehicle #1 was towed due to damage and the deer was found to be deceased. There were no injuries.
FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 3:36 PM, deputies stopped and arrested DUSTY RISLAND, 33, for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant as he was walking eastbound on Main Street near 20th Street in Philomath. RISLAND, a convicted felon, was also found to be in possession of a spring-assisted folding knife. RISLAND was issued citations in lieu of custody for his confirmed warrant and the additional charge of Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.
HARASSMENT PHONE - On March 30, 2021 at about 4:30 p.m., deputies spoke with a citizen regarding suspicious and harassing phone calls he was receiving at his home on the 3900 block of NW 25th Avenue.
UUV; POSS STOLEN VEHICLE; POSS BURGLARS TOOLS; PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT; FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:25 PM, deputies located a stolen Ford Ranger pickup truck parked on the 1700 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. The vehicle had switched plates and was spray-painted black. DAVID WALL, 26, of Scio, was arrested after being observed trying to enter the truck when a tow company arrived to remove it. WALL was booked at the Benton County Jail on multiple unrelated warrants. WALL was also charged with the crimes of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Possession of a Burglary or Theft Device.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, around 8:00 P.M., deputies arrived at the Benton County Fairgrounds, south gravel parking lot, for someone tearing the gravel up with their vehicle. Deputies did not locate the vehicle, but it was described as a maroon four door Ford F-150 with a tool box in the bed. The driver was described as a male in his twenties with a beard.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Monday, April 5, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the Hubbard Road bridge for a criminal mischief report. One of the road blocks on the East side of the bridge had been removed from its stand and thrown into the river below. Deputies spoke with a juvenile who said he and another juvenile were responsible for the criminal mischief. This case is being discontinued after the County declined to pursue criminal charges.
DUII; DWS MIS - On Sunday, March 27, 2021 at about 11:55 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 200 (Territorial Highway) near milepost #6 for a traffic violation. The driver, IAN ANDREW ADAMS, 32, of Junction City, was subsequently arrest for D.U.I.I. and Driving While Suspended - (Misdemeanor). ADAMS was taken to the Sheriff`s Office and later released with a criminal citation.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER PROP DAMAGE; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 11, 2021, at about 3:12 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of NE Hyslop Road, Corvallis for a cold hit and run on private property causing about $1000 in damage. A man reported a driver for Rocket Transportation drove his semi-truck and trailer into a landscaping rock and drug it across the assault by about 50 feet or slightly farther, earlier that morning. The driver admitted to the incident and later said there was $625 damage to the Rocket Transportation trailer from the incident.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On February 13, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of 53rd St, Corvallis, for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The information was passed on to day shift who tagged it as abandoned. The vehicle was later marked and towed as abandoned by day shift.
THEFT 3 - On April 5, 2021, theft of cash was reported from a self-service stand on Highway 34, Alsea.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On April 5, 2021, a UEMV and theft of an iPod were reported in Adair. The incident took place on April 2, 2021.
BURGLARY 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On April 4, 2021, at around 12:12pm, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 1000 block of SE Kiger Island Drive. The residents reported someone broke into one of their houses and damaged and destroyed the major appliances and the contents of every drawer, cupboard, closet, and room. The break-in and damage occurred sometime between April 3 and September 15, 2020. There are no current suspects.
MISSING PERSON - On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at about 6:00 PM, deputies contacted a woman for a report of a Missing Person from the 24300 block of Alsea-Deadwood Hwy. She said one of females that had been working on her farm and staying at the farm had not been seen since Tuesday. The female was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, April 2, 2021, at about 7:00 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on an unlicensed Plymouth Minivan, towing a Toyota sedan with a tow rope on Highway 20 near Springhill Drive. Deputies identified Daniel Jay Looper, 47, as one of the vehicle operators and arrested him for numerous warrants as well as giving false information to police officer and fail to carry and present license. Looper was transported and lodged at the Linn County Jail.
DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING - On April 2, 2021, at around 2:11 pm, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Highway 99W and NE Elliott Cir. Deputies later arrested Christopher Axe, 57, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving.
UUV; ELUDE VEHICLE; WARRANT ARREST; ELUDE FOOT; RECKLESS DRIVING - On April 1, 2021, at 4:47 AM, Joseph Cholewinski, 22, of Detroit, eluded the Albany Police Department by vehicle. Cholewinski was last seen going over the bridge and into North Albany. Deputies located the vehicle Cholewinski was driving on NW Springhill Drive near Independence Highway. Cholewinski led them on a pursuit to Buena Vista Road near Wells Landing Road. Cholewinski fled on foot and was apprehended by K9 Brutus. The vehicle Cholewinski was driving was stolen out of Illinois. Cholewinski was wanted on a Felony Parole Violation, with a caution for prior escape. Cholewinski had three additional cite and release warrants. Cholewinski was cited into Benton County Circuit Court for Elude by Vehicle, Elude by Foot, Reckless Driving, and Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle. Cholewinski was lodged at the Benton County Jail and later transported to Marion County Jail for his Parole Board Warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 31, 2021 at about 4:00 AM, deputies contacted Ashley Herring, 35, a passenger in a white Cadillac Escalade parked in a parking lot on the 300 block of NW Hickory Ave, Albany. Deputies subsequently arrested her for an Albany Municipal warrant and she was cited and released in the field.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Saturday, March 27, 2021, at about 10:18 am, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on NW Springhill Drive near NW Winn Drive, Albany. Unit 1, a 2015 Toyota Rav negotiated a u-turn after a right hand turn in the road and crashed into Unit 2, a 2016 Dodge Charger that was traveling behind her. Both drivers had no apparent injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene. The driver of Unit 1 was cited for making an Illegal U-turn.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 03/26/2021 at approximately 2:26 PM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance in Monroe. They determined an adult male was target shooting and a neighbor reported some bullets struck his barn. Deputies interviewed the involved parties and determined there was no probable cause to support a crime.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 4, 2021 at approximately 10:35 PM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a gold Honda Accord on Peoria Road near Highway 34. They contacted Kenneth Todd Smalley, 40. Dispatch advised Smalley had several confirmed warrants. Deputies issued Smalley criminal citations before releasing him at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday April 4, 2021 at approximately 8:20 PM, deputies initiated a traffic stop at South 21st Street near Main Street, Philomath, on a Chevy Trailblazer. Deputies contacted the driver and the passenger and identified them as Russel Allen McDaniels, 48, of Halsey, and Maryl Dawn Swyer, 29, of Sweet Home. Dispatch advised they both had failure to appear warrants. Deputies issued both individuals criminal citations before releasing them at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, April 4, 2021, at about 11:23am, Miranda Ruthann Christensen, 26, was arrested on her Felony Probation Violation warrant near the intersection of NE Pettibone Drive and NE Granger Ave. Christensen was cited and released on scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 4, 2021, at 2:19 AM, deputies stopped Greg Brunty, 51, on NW 9th Street near NW Circle Boulevard in Corvallis for a bicycle violation. Brunty had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Benton County for Failure to Appear, Theft II, Bail $3,000. Brunty was issued a new court date and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday April 4, 2021 at about 1:15 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near Highway 223 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, KEITH LINN FLANAGAN, 47, had an outstanding Felony Warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for F.T.A.- P.C.S. II. FLANAGAN was issued a citation in the field and cited and released.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at about 5:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a shooting complaint on the 31400 block of Braden Lane, Philomath. They spoke with a resident who stated three juveniles were shooting their guns in a Christmas tree farm. She said they were on their property but she was concerned they were not shooting safely. Deputies determined the area the juveniles were shooting at was in a safe direction and they were in fact, on their property. Deputies informed the caller they had the right to shoot on their own property and were not posing any harm.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM, deputies were assisting with an unrelated investigation on the 1100 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis when they had contact with an individual named SOPHIA BREWER, 23. Dispatch informed BREWER had multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. Deputies completed and issued BREWER criminal citations with court dates in lieu of custody for her warrants.
DELIVER COCAINE - On 04/03/2021 at approximately midnight, deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call on Greenberry Rd. Subsequent investigation led to a narcotics offense during which 13.07 grams of cocaine were seized with the use of a K9. Kelly Alexander, 58, of Eugene was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody for Unlawful Delivery of Cocaine.
WARRANT ARREST - On 04/02/2021 at approximately 10:24 PM, deputies were dispatched to an intoxicated suicidal female on the 25400 block of Foxview Lane in Alpine. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with David Heuston, 55, who told had an outstanding warrant from Canby Municipal Court. Deputies issued David a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant. The female was not suicidal.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; IDENTITY THEFT - On Friday, April 2, 2021 at 12:44 PM, a resident on the 100 block of NE Azalea Drive in Adair Village reported a theft from his vehicle that occurred sometime between 9:30 PM on April 1 and 4:30 AM that morning. Credit cards, identification, and faux gold jewelry of no value was taken.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10:39 AM, a resident on the 6800 block of NW Grandview Drive in Corvallis reported suspicious circumstances occurring online. She is a member of a "Discord" fandom chatroom for Harry Potter and other movie characters. Someone he had been messaging recently threatened to "DOX" her and show other individuals in the chatroom screenshots of their messages. She was encouraged to block the individual and consider deleting her "Discord" account to make a new one.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at about 10:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to an argument on the 28400 block of Robison Road, near Adair Village. They arrived and spoke with a woman who stated she was mad at her landlord over the smell of burning plastic when the electricity was on. Adair Fire Department ensured there were no hot spots and the junction box was no a hazard. While in the house, deputies located a male hiding in a separate bedroom. The male, Jordan Akin, 25, had a confirmed Marion County Circuit Court warrant for Robbery 2. Jordan was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and housed. WARR INFO: Robbery 2, Marion County Circuit Court, BAIL: None.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 3/29/21, AT APPROXIMATELY 5:20 PM, WILSON, MIKAH, 18, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY ON A WARRANT FOR FTA INTERFERE, BAIL 3000.00. DEPUTIES GAVE WILSON A COURT DATE.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 3/29/21, ELBINGER, LUKE, 29, WAS BEING TRANSPORTED BACK TO THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL FROM NORCOR FOR RELEASE. ELBINGER HAD A WARRANT OUT OF LINN COUNTY FOR FTC PCS METH. LINN CO ADVISED HIS SENTENCE WAS SERVED WITH LINN COUNTY. ONCE ELBINGER WAS BACK AT BCCF HE WAS RELEASED.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Sunday, March 28, 2021, at approximately 8:02 PM, deputies spoke to a resident regarding suspicious activity on the 7600 block of NW McDonald Circle, Corvallis. He said he had gone into his garage and found his 2018 Honda Accord with all its doors open, trunk open, windows down, and sunroof open but nothing missing or out of place. He thought someone had come into his garage and done this but said there was no evidence of anyone being there. Deputies told him to keep his doors locked and look into security cameras to document possibly activity.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 3/28/21 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:00 PM, DEPUTIES WERE PREPARING TRANSPORT FILES FOR RELEASE. ANDRUS, TRACY, 53, HAD A WARRANT FOR CONTEMPT OUT OF LINN COUNTY JUSTICE COURT. DEPUTIES SERVED THE WARRANT ON ANDRUS WHO WAS IN CUSTODY AT THE JAIL.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 RESULT CRIMINAL ACT; RECKLESS DRIVING; WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 28, 2021 at approximately 12:15 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 13th Street and Bonney Drive, Corvallis, for a reported crash through the fence at the end of the road. Deputies arrived and located Miranda Christensen, 26, seated in the driver’s seat of her vehicle after she crashed through the fence. Christensen was later cited and released for two confirmed warrants, Reckless Driving and Criminal Mischief II for the damage to the fence.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Saturday, March 27, 2021 at about 6:00 PM, deputies located an abandoned residence with the front door broken. They went inside and searched the residence and later contacted the owner of the property, who told deputies the residence had been vacant for quite some time and he would go and fix the door. The owner said there was nothing to take inside the house since it had been abandoned for quite some time. There is no suspect information.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Saturday March 27, 2021 at about 5:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 24700 block of Evergreen Rd, Philomath, for a report of an open door. Deputies responded and found an open door to the residence, the residence was searched and nothing was found to be out of place and after contacting the owner, it is unclear if anyone had even been inside.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT – On March 25, 2021, Trevor Lee Anderson, 37, posted bail on an unrelated court case. A warrant was found during the release process. Linn County issued a court date and time for subject to appear and he was released from custody.
BURGLARY 1; UUV; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; POSS STOLEN VEHICLE - On Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 11:03 AM, a resident on the 5100 block of NE Highway 20 in Corvallis reported her 2013 Mercedes S50 luxury sedan was stolen from her driveway that morning. It was located (unoccupied) in a field off Rondo Street a short time later after being called in as a suspicious vehicle. TYRONE AUSTIN, 38, was arrested by CPD Officers later that day after he was called in for throwing rocks at vehicles. AUSTIN was found to have the key fob to the stolen car in his possession. The tread on AUSTIN`S shoes was also found to match prints in the mud where the vehicle was recovered. AUSTIN was charged with Burglary I, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Trespass I, Trespass II, and Unlawful Entry of a Motor Vehicle.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT – On March 18, 2021, Robert Keith Lewis, 48, turned himself into the lobby of the jail for a warrant. Due to housing limitations, Lewis was issued a court date and time to appear and released from custody.
IDENTITY THEFT - On March 18, 2021 at about 3:15 p.m., deputies took a report of Identity Theft regarding tax filings on the 11400 block of Noon Road.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 2 - On March 31, 2021 at about 3:40 p.m., deputies took a report of a stolen chainsaw from an outbuilding on the 18500 block of Haines Road. The owner reported a Stihl chainsaw and a 36-pack of Mountain Dew was stolen. No suspects.
DWS MIS - On Monday, March 29, 2021, at about 10:00 PM, deputies located a Toyota Hatchback in downtown Corvallis committing a traffic offense. They initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at Highway 34 near MP 2 and issued Gabriel Merklin, 25, a criminal citation for Driving While Suspended- Misdemeanor.
DISTURBANCE VERBAL ONLY - On Monday, March 29, 2021, around 6:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a cold verbal argument, between neighbors on the 700 block of Pine Street, Monroe. They got into a verbal argument about something children said while playing. It was discussed how to handle the situation differently.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, March 29, 2021, deputies were dispatched to 180 NW 5Th Street, at the Benton County Sheriff`s Parole and Probation Office for a wanted person. Deputies contacted Cynthia Marquez, 32, who had a confirmed Benton County Circuit warrant for DCS Meth. Cynthia was arrested for her warrant and handcuffed behind her back. Cynthia was walked to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and processed. WARR INFO: DCS Meth COURT: Benton County Circuit Court, BAIL: $10,000.00.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, March 29, 2021 at approximately 3:24 P.M., a Corvallis Police Officer was travelling south on Highland Drive, through the intersection with Grant Avenue. The officer stopped prior to entering the intersection. Another driver was east on Grant Avenue in a blue van. He was watching someone nearby as he approached the intersection and drove through the intersection without stopping at the stop sign. He struck the front passenger side of the Ford Police Vehicle with the front of his van causing damage to both vehicles. He was cited for Failing to Obey a Traffic Control Device. The police vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 29, 2021, at about 11:42 a.m., deputies contacted Donald Spencer Ray Hendershot, 47, in Hyak Park. Hendershot had two misdemeanor Benton County Circuit Court warrants for his arrest. Deputies issued Hendershot a citation in lieu of custody for DWS and CTA Criminal Driving Suspended.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On March 29, 2021, at about 9:02 am, deputies were dispatched to a theft of tires from an abandoned vehicle at the intersection on Highway 20 and Highway 223. The two male suspects stole the tires from a 2002 Subaru and left in a 1998 Maroon over gray Dodge Ram 1500. Deputies have been unable to locate the suspect(s) or the registered owner of the Subaru.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at about 9:15 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on highway 99W near MP 75, near Adair Village. Driver 1 stated he swerved to miss a deer but lost control and drove off the roadway. Driver 1 said he was driving south on Highway 99W at about 60 MPH, he ended up spinning off to the south bound shoulder and overturned his car. Driver 1 was uninjured and Car 1 sustained damages to the passenger side rear wheel assembly and was at rest on the driver`s side. Driver 1 elected to use his own tow company and was not a road hazard.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at about 12:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft on the 5200 block of NE Elliot Circle, Corvallis. The resident reported his catalytic converters were taken from his RV. He stated he suspected damage to replace the "Cats" would be about $1000.00 dollars. Upon further investigation, there was no security video, eye witnesses, suspect leads, and a time frame of two weeks. Deputies provided him with a case number and answered additional questions.
MAIL THEFT; IDENTITY THEFT; FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED; FEL DELIVER METH; POSS BURGLARS TOOLS; PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT; POSS METH (MISD 2 GRAMS OR MORE); WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, March 18, 2021 at approximately 12:30 PM, deputies stopped a blue Honda Civic for a traffic violation near Main Street & 24th Street in Philomath and arrested the passenger, KRISTOPHER CLARK, 29, for multiple new crimes and outstanding warrants. The driver was verbally warned for the original traffic offense. CLARK was booked and lodged at the Linn County Jail on his warrants. CLARK was later charged with Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine - Misdemeanor, Mail Theft (X3), Identity Theft (X9), Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon, and Possession of a Burglary Tool or Theft Device.
VEHICLE RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY - On Monday, March 29, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of N 9th Street for a recovered stolen vehicle. A resident said she bought a trailer on Saturday March 27, and discovered the trailer was reported as stolen. The trailer is currently owned by an insurance company who is going to work with her on a civil compromise.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE - On Monday, March 29, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 18300 block of Highway 34 for a theft. Deputies spoke with a resident who said an unknown person went through his truck and stole three Stihl chainsaws on Sunday, March 28, around 10:00 PM.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 28, 2021, at about 11:05 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on 2nd Avenue near Harrison Boulevard and contacted and identified the driver as Benjamin David Adams, 44, of Junction City. Adams had a statewide fail to appear warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Adams was issued a criminal citation for the warrant and released at the scene.
VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER - On Friday, March 26, 2021, deputies arrested Jevon Smith, 30, for violating a restraining order on the 21400 block of Vanderpool Ln in Blodgett.
WARRANT ARREST – ON MARCH 25, 2021, ANN NICHOLE WATTS, 23, TURNED HERSELF IN AT BCCF ON A WARRANTS FOR FTA THEFT 3, FTA THEFT 2, AND FTA CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2. A NEW COURT DATE WAS GIVEN AND WATTS WAS RELEASED.
WARRANT ARREST - PAMELA FINNEY, 49, TURNED HERSELF IN AT BCCJ ON A WARRANT FOR FTA RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON, OUT OF BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT. FINNEY WAS GIVEN A NEW COURT DATE AND RELEASED.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 24, 2021 at approximately 11:00 am, San Juanita Rodriguez, 46, turned herself in at the Benton County Jail and indicated she had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at court. Warrant info: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA - PCS Meth, FTA - PCS Meth, and Lebanon Municipal Court, FTA – FTA. Rodriguez was issued new court dates and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 24, 2021 at approximately 1100 Carl Wesley Edes, 41, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail and indicated he had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at court. Warrant info: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA - Theft III, FTA - PCS Meth, FTA – DWS; Linn County Circuit Court, FTA - PCS Meth; Albany Municipal Court, FTA - FTA – Contempt; and Lebanon Municipal Court, PV - No ODL. Edes was issued new court dates and released.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 9:23 AM, BCSO Deputies responded to the 2000 block of SW Allen Street in Corvallis for a trespass in progress. The resident confronted a naked male on his property who appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances. MATTHEW BRYAN, 47, licked the window of the resident’s vehicle and attempted to jump on the back of it when he drove away. BRYAN was arrested, cited and released, for Trespass II.
THEFT 2 - On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle located on the 25300 block of Dawson Road, Monroe. A 1984 Uhaul flatbed trailer was stolen from the 24500 block of Bellfountain Road sometime around February 22, 2021 and abandoned. The owner of the trailer will pick it up. No suspect identified at this time.
UNLAW POSS OF FIREARM; FELON IN POSS OF FIREARM - On March 22, 2021 at about 6:00 PM, deputies spoke to residents on the 24100 block of Highway 20 Blodgett, Oregon. Michael Flamez, 53, reportedly displayed a firearm to his neighbor. Flamez is a convicted felon. Deputies were granted a search warrant for the Flamez residence where they seized three firearms and several hundred rounds of ammunition. Michael Flamez was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm.
ACCIDENT OTHER INJURY - On Saturday March 20, 2021 at about 2:30 PM, a motorcycle with a passenger was riding west on Highway 20 approaching Highway 223 when the driver lost control on the bridge crossing Harris Road. The motorcycle lost traction on the membrane on the bridge itself that stretches east to west for the bridge according to both witnesses and the driver. This caused the driver to lay down the motorcycle on its side. The passenger was transported to the Hospital for precautionary measures.
WARRANT ARREST - ON 3/10/21 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:15 PM, HUBBARD, JERMAINE, 34, OF TOLEDO, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY ON A WARRANT FOR FTA DUII/DWS. HUBBARD WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
WARRANT ARREST - Shane Kenney, 37, reported to BCJ on 3/5/2021, for a Benton County Circuit warrant for PV probation violation, no bail. Kenney was issued a court date and released due to overcrowding in the jail.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On 3/27/2021 at around 4:30 PM, deputies responded to the 24500 block of Bellfountain Rd., Monroe, to a trespass in progress. They arrived at the location and the vehicle that was reported to be there was gone. Deputies searched the area to try and locate the vehicle, but did not find it. Another deputy was patrolling around the Fern and Llewellyn Road area and saw a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle that was trespassing. Tyler Rexroad, 31, and James Whipps, 32, were arrested and cited for Criminal Trespass II.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 26, 2021, at around 11:23pm, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Whitman Way and Whitman Place for a motor vehicle crash. The driver lost control of his 2011 Toyota 4Runner as he drove around a corner. He was not injured. The Toyota was towed from the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, March 26, 2021, at about 8:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Highway 99W near Thousand Oaks Drive. While en route, dispatch advised a vehicle drove into a ditch, drove out and was south bound on 99W. Deputies located the Jeep Grand Cherokee. They spoke with Davis and learned he had fallen asleep at the wheel and drove into a ditch. He said he was able to get the vehicle out and would work on getting a licensed driver to pick him up. No property damage was observed.
THEFT 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 26, 2021, at around 5:11pm, deputies were dispatched to a vacant lot on the corner of Williams Rd and Alpine Rd for a reported theft. A resident reported that within the past month someone stole two tires and wheels off of a trailer, some welding parts stored in the trailer, and a truck radiator.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, March 26, 2021, deputies contacted Jacob Tyler Elligsen, 37, on the 600 block of NW Monroe Avenue. Ellingsen had four confirmed warrants from the Linn County Circuit Court, Linn County Justice Court, Lincoln County Circuit Court, and Albany Municipal Court. Ellingsen was issued four citations with court date and times to appear.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, March 26, 2021, at about 12:20 A.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on 5th Avenue near Lyon Street in Albany. They contacted the driver, Robert Edward Hilliard, 51. Hilliard had three confirmed warrants out of Linn County. Deputies arrested Hilliard and issued him a a criminal citation for the warrants before releasing him at the scene.
MAIL THEFT - On 3/25/2021 at around 4:45 PM, deputies I searched the area near 1500 NE Highway 20 for a male going through a mailbox and taking mail at the address. Deputies searched the area to try and locate the male, but were unable to locate him. Deputies picked up the mail on the side of the roadway and returned it to the correct address.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/25/21, at around 12:22am, deputies observed a 1992 Toyota Corolla commit several traffic violations. They initiated a stop and identified the four occupants and later issued a criminal citation to Brittain Donaldson, 31, a passenger, for three warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court: Failure to Appear - Criminal Mischief 2, Failure to Appear - Fail to Perform the Duties of a Driver, and Failure to Appear - Elude.
DWS MIS - On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 6:45 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Fern Rd near SW Airport Ave, Philomath. The driver, Richard Sather, 31, was suspended Misdemeanor. He was issued a criminal citation.
ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ - On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at about 10:41am, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 99W, near Milepost 103, Monroe. The driver was in a 2000 Mercury Grand Marques southbound, left the roadway on the south side of Highway 99W into a farmer`s field. He had no apparent injuries, there was no damage to the field, and the damage to the car was less than $2500. The driver was cited for DWS-Violation.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday March 22, 2021 at about 11:55 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 3rd St. near Adams Ave. Dispatch advised the driver, MICHAEL THOMAS BLOHM, 41, of Vancouver, WA, had four outstanding Warrants. BLOHM was issued citations on all of his Warrants and released in the field.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1 FROM BUILDING - On Monday, March 22, 2021, at about 2:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft on the 3400 block of Countryman Circle NW, in North Albany. They called and spoke to man who stated he had a vacant house on his property entered and items removed. A HP Laptop and Ruger Revolver were taken within a five week window. No suspect info at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday March 21, 2021 at about 11:20 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Main St. near Clemens Mill Road for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised me the driver, MACAYLA MARIE JIMENEZ, 25, had two outstanding Misdemeanor Warrants. JIMENEZ was issued a citation on both warrants and released in the field.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 21, 2021, at about 11:55 AM, deputies were working patrol in the area of Highway 99W and Adair Frontage Road. They spoke to a male and female on a mere contact and recognized the female as Noelle Wittier. Noelle had a confirmed Albany Municipal Warrant for Contempt of Court. Noelle was issued a citation for her warrant and provided with a new court date. WARR INFO: Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, no bail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 21, 2021, at about 12:40 A.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Ellsworth Street near 2nd Avenue in Albany. They approached the vehicle and contacted Raymond Lee Mentzer, 34, and Rachelle Joann Rictor, 30. They both had numerous warrants and were arrested. Due to COVID-19 Rictor and Mentzer were issued criminal citations for the warrants before being released at the scene.
DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING - On March 20, 2021, at around 11:58pm, deputies observed a green Jeep Liberty driving 100mph on Highway 99W Milepost 76. They initiated a traffic stop as the Jeep pulled into a residential driveway, located on the 29000 block of Tampico Road. They later arrested the driver, Jacob Callis, 25, for Reckless Driving and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Callis was also issued a traffic citation for VBR +100mph.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 20, 2021 at about 11:10 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 200 near milepost #6 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, EVAN ANTHONY ZELLER, 24, of Harrisburg, and the passenger, ROGER TRISTAIN BRASIER, 22, of Harrisburg, both had outstanding Warrants. ZELLER had two outstanding Felony Warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies issued BRASIER a citation and he was cited and released in the field. Deputies transported ZELLER to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 20, 2021, at about 9:15 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Peoria Road near Highway 34. They contacted Carisa Michelle Denton, 29, and Troy Charles Averill, 50, in the vehicle. Both subjects had several confirmed warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court. Averill and Denton were transported to the Linn County Jail, where they were both lodged.

HARASSMENT; WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:19 PM, deputies were dispatched to a physical domestic on the 25700 block of Cherry Creek Road in Monroe. DAWSON KING, 25, DAWSON KING was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail for Harassment (x2). DAWSON KING was also cited for an unrelated outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
THEFT 3; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Saturday, March 20, 2021, at about 8:23 am, deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief on the 24500 block of Walden Lane, Philomath. Sometime during the night the resident had two property signs stolen valued at around $100.00, and a concrete eagle statue damaged, valued at $800.00. No suspect identified at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday March 20, 2021 at about 2:10 AM, deputies stopped a car on 19th St near Industrial Way for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, OLGA PEREMYSLOVA, 28, had an outstanding Warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for F.T.A.- THEFT III. OLGA was cited and released in the field.
POSS STOLEN VEHICLE; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER; ESCAPE 3; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; UUV - On March 19, 2021, deputies arrested Trevor Lee Anderson, 37, after a pursuit where he was in a stolen vehicle. Trevor was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, March 19, 2021, at about 2:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Highway 20 near mile post eight. They arrived and observed a tow truck off the roadway in a field on the south side of the road. They spoke with the driver who stated the truck was having steering issues which caused him to go off the road. The tow company had another truck respond to remove the vehicle from the field while deputies assisted with traffic control.
IDENTITY THEFT - On Friday, March 19, 2021 at approximately 1:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding identity theft. They called and spoke with a man who said he was at the bank opening a bank account when they checked his credit and told him he had outstanding balances on two Reliant Energy Accounts out of Texas. 
MAIL THEFT - On Thursday, March 18, 2021, at about 7:40PM, a resident reported finding mail belonging to his neighbors in the ditch near Fitton Green. On Friday, March 19, deputies went to his residence and retrieved the mail. There was mail for multiple residents. Deputies returned the mail to the respective residences.
DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; DWS MIS - On March 18, 2021, at around 6:08pm, deputies were dispatched to Coon Rd Milepost 3 for a non-injury motor vehicle crash involving a 2003 Buick LeSabre. They later arrested the driver, Sophia McKay, 48, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Reckless Driving, and Driving While Suspended - Misdemeanor. McKay was also issued traffic citations for Driving Without a Required Ignition Interlock Device and Open Container of Liquor in a Vehicle.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 5:07 PM, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Parole & Probation Lobby of the Law Enforcement Center at 180 NW 5th Street in Corvallis to contact a wanted subject named MARK TURCZYNSKI, 52, of Eugene. Deputies issued TURCZYNSKI a criminal citation with a court date in lieu of custody for his misdemeanor warrant.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE; FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Thursday, March 18, 2021, at about 5:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a UEMV at the Fitton Green trailhead. They spoke with a woman who said she was hiking the trail when she returned to her vehicle, a 2010 Toyota Corolla, and noticed her front driver side window was broken. Numerous items were taken and there is no suspect information at this time.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/18/2021, Franklin Davidson, 59, of Terrabonne, was ran for wants prior to being released by the court. A Linn County Circuit warrant for FTA Unlaw use veh / no bail was found. Linn County issued a new court date and the subject was released.
RESISTING ARREST; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - On Thursday, March 18, 2021 at about 12:30 PM, deputies observed a gray SUV driving east on Walnut Boulevard with its hood open, blocking the drivers view. The SUV turned left onto Garryanna Street and stopped in the roadway. Deputies contacted the driver, Brandon Regele, 36, who was intoxicated. Deputies learned Regele had just committed the crime of hit and run near the intersection of NW Kings and NW Walnut Boulevard. Deputies subsequently arrested Regele for resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Thursday, March 18, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 3400 block of NW Springhill Drive for a trespass. They arrived and spoke with a male who identified himself as Martin Stock, 21. Stock was seen on the property and didn’t have a lawful reason to be on the property. Martin was issued a citation for criminal trespass II and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 18, 2021, Kristopher Huggins, 25, turned himself into the Benton County Jail on 3-18-21 at approximately 1015 hours on a warrant for FTA False Info. A new court date of was given and Huggins was released.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 17, 2021 at about 7:45 PM, deputies stopped and arrested Miranda Christensen, 26, for a Corvallis Municipal court warrant at SE 3rd Street and SE Bridgeway Ave.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 5:11 PM, deputies attempted to stop a burgundy Jeep Cherokee belonging to ANGELA FILIP, 24, on Conifer Boulevard near Highway 99W in Corvallis. The vehicle pulled into an apartment complex parking lot nearby and FILIP (the passenger), who Dispatch later informed me had outstanding warrants, fled the area on foot. Deputies warned the driver for multiple traffic violations. Deputies arrested FILIP on Walnut Boulevard near Jack London Street a short time later. FILIP was cited and released on her warrants.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:31 PM, Vehicle #1, a Toyota Highlander SUV, was travelling southbound on NE Pettibone Drive just south of NE Avalon Drive at a high rate of speed. Vehicle #1 was following an unknown pickup truck which reportedly braked sharply while negotiating a left hand corner. Vehicle #1 also braked sharply while negotiating the corner and made an avoidance maneuver which caused it to leave the north side of the roadway. Vehicle #1 rolled onto its side and came to rest against a utility pole support cable. The unknown truck continued on and did not stop.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:20 AM, BCSO Deputies went to the 300 block of SE Lilly Avenue in Corvallis to locate a subject with a felony warrant named JASON SEALS, 32. SEALS was taken into custody on his warrant and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING - On March 17, 2021 at about 12:15 AM, deputies stopped Juan Padilla, a minor, for driving the wrong way on a one way highway without headlights. Padilla was subsequently arrested for DUII and reckless driving.
POSS METH - On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at about 3:16pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on NW 2nd Street and NW Van Buren Ave on a black Chevrolet Blazer for Expired Registration. The passenger, Selina Renee Ford-Blackburn, 36, of Lebanon, had confirmed warrants. Blackburn was also cited for PCS meth misdemeanor. Ford-Blackburn was transported to Linn County Jail.
SEARCH AND RESCUE (NOT MISSING) - On March 16, 2021, at about 1:16 p.m., a hiker called dispatch to report he and his companion were walking on a trail near Mary`s Peak top parking lot, got stuck in an area on the trail and needed help out. There was icy snow on the ground and they did not feel comfortable walking out on their own without help due to be unprepared for the conditions. The BCSO Search and Rescue Coordinator responded and assisted getting them to the parking lot. Deputies dropped the two hikers off at their vehicle at Conner’s Camp trail head about four miles down the road.
IDENTITY THEFT - On March 16, 2021, deputies spoke to a resident on the 26600 block of NW Sulphur Springs Road. He received mail from the postal service addressed to him from the Kentucky Unemployment Office approving benefits he did not apply for. He was advised of methods to protect self from identity theft and to monitor his personal financial information closely.
WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at about 8:03am, deputies responded to the 2000 block of NE Merloy Ave, Corvallis, regarding a welfare check. Deputies made contact with Francis Brown Clark, 32. Clark had a cite and release warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Clark was cited with his new court date.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 15, 2021 at approximately 12:30 pm, LYTH, Robert James, 24, turned himself in to the Benton County Jail on a warrant for his arrest. Warrant Info: Bail 6K, Fail to perform duty of a driver. Due to Covid-19 and the jail being at full capacity, deputies filled out a release agreement providing LYTH with a new court date and time. LYTH signed the release agreement and was released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/15/2021, Kali Sykes, 34, reported to the jail for a warrant out of Benton County Oregon Circuit Court for FTA theft II. Sykes was released with a new court date.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 15, 2021, at approximately 11:00 am, HUSSEY, Michael Frederick, 66, turned himself in to the Benton County Jail on a warrant for his arrest. Warrant Info: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Bail 3K. Due to Covid-19 and the jail being at capacity, deputies filled out a release agreement with a new court date and time for HUSSEY to appear in court he was released from the jail.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE - On Monday, March 15, 2021, at about 7:56am, deputies were dispatched to an Unauthorized Entry to Motor Vehicle located at the Benton County Health Department on NW 27th Street, Corvallis. Deputies made contact with an employee with Benton County Public Works. The Benton County vehicle, a 2003 Chevy Silverado was broken into and $2,333.99 worth of tools were stolen. No suspect identified.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE IMPERSONATION; IDENTITY THEFT - On Sunday March 14, 2021 at about 12:30 pm, deputies pulled in behind a vehicle stopped in the bicycle lane and partially the lane of travel on Main St. at 17th St. They arrested the driver, CHRISTOPHER ROBERT SOCIA, 29, of Eugene, for Giving False Information to a Deputy Sheriff. He was cited and released from the scene.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII; FAIL TO APPEAR 2; RECKLESS DRIVING - On Sunday, March 14, 2021, at about 12:30 am, deputies stopped a silver 1999 Volkswagen Passat for failure to obey a traffic control device. They later arrested the driver, Zachary Hiihimaki, 22, of Olympia, WA, for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Hiihimaki was issued criminal citations and released.
DWS MIS - On Saturday, March 13, 2021 at about 5:20 PM, deputies stopped RICHARD ALLEN SATHER, 31, on Highway 501 at Highway 34. SATHER was cited and released in the field for Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor).
ASSAULT 4; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 13, 2021, at 3:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near milepost 47.5 in Philomath for a single vehicle traffic crash. The front seat passenger was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center by ambulance for serious injuries. The driver, Jamoudi Rodriguez-Webb, 21, admitted he was traveling 80 to 90 miles per hour, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Rodriguez-Webb was cited for Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering and Assault IV. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
MENACING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING - On March 11, 2021, at 8:36 PM, deputies responded to Mary`s Peak Road near milepost 9 in Philomath for a pickup stuck in the snow. The driver, Marion Hokland, 55, of Brownsville, was arrested for DUII, after deputies determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. The arrest led to a second investigation regarding an earlier incident with Marion. Marion was lodged at the Benton County Jail for Menacing-Domestic, Reckless Endangering x3 and Reckless Driving. Marion was cited on the DUII.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/11/2021, Todd Brandstetter, 67, reported to BCJ for a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA menacing, bail $6000. He was issued a new court date and forced released due to jail overcrowding.
UUV - On March 10, 2021 at about 7:30 PM, deputies responded to the 600 block of Kelly St, Monroe, for a report of a stolen vehicle. A resident had his blue 2007 Nissan Versa stolen by Tyler (Serina) Hendricks, 25, of Florence. Springfield Police recovered in 4 days later in Springfield with Hendricks in the vehicle. Case cleared by outside agency arrest.
DUII; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 10, 2021 at around 02:15 am, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash near the 5700 block of NW Oak Creek Drive in Corvallis. Samuel Loschl, 24, of Portland crashed his 1997 Volkswagen Jetta on to private property. Loschl was later arrested for DUII and taken to the Sheriff`s Office where he gave a breath test. His car was towed.
PUBLIC INDECENCY FEL EXPOSURE; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On Sunday, March 7, 2021 at approximately 12:25 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99W near Tampico Road for a welfare check on a female walking on the road. They arrived and later found Hannah Marie Lettrell, 30, of McMinnville, lying on the east side of the road facing south. Lettrell was lying on the ground with her pants pulled down and her legs in the air. Deputies later arrested Lettrell for Public Indecency-Felony and Disorderly Conduct II and transported her to the jail.
BURGLARY 1 - On Saturday, March 6, 2021 at approximately 1:15 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 18800 block of Highway 34 for a reported burglary. Deputies spoke with a resident who said someone stole his tractor, riding lawn mower, shotgun, and tool set from his house while he was in the hospital.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE; FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE -On Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10:36 AM, a resident on the 1800 block of SW Brooklane Drive in Corvallis reported someone entered her vehicle sometime that morning after 2:00 AM while it was parked in her driveway. The suspect(s) took a purse and backpack which contained identification, checks, cash, debit cards, paperwork, and a laptop computer.
DWS MIS - On Monday, March 15, 2021, at approximately 3:57 AM, deputies stopped LOGAN M INGRAHAM, 18, driving his 2002 Honda Accord for no license plates at Granger Avenue and Highway 99W. LOGAN`s driving status was Suspended Misdemeanor. Deputies arrested LOGAN and issued him a criminal citation in lieu of physical custody arrest for DWS Misdemeanor and released him at the scene.
POSS METH (MISD - 2 GRAMS OR MORE) - On Monday, March 15, 2021, around 12:30 A.M., Paul Dyment, 41, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Meth on Main St in Philomath. 2.66 grams of meth, along with .69 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia was located in Dyment`s vehicle. A criminal citation issued.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 14, 2021, at 5:50 p.m., deputies contacted Bradley Damewood, 41, and Andrew Morgan, 38, during a traffic stop near the intersection of SW Philomath Blvd and SW 35th St, Corvallis. Both subjects had confirmed warrants for their arrest. Damewood was issued a citation for his warrant. Morgan was lodged at the Benton County Jail on his Felony warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 14, 2021, at 12:28 a.m., deputies contacted Alaura Baldwin, 30, and Ismael Nelson, 38, during a traffic stop on Hwy 20 near MP 35, Blodgett. Both subjects had confirmed warrants for their arrest. Baldwin was issued a citation for her warrant and Nelson was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his Felony warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 13, 2021, at about 8:45 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Villa Drive near Rivergreen Avenue in Corvallis. They contacted and identified the driver as Aaron Bryce Clemmer, 41, of Sweet Home. Clemmer had three confirmed warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court, Lebanon Municipal Court, and Albany Municipal court. Deputies issued Clemmer criminal citations for the warrants and released him at the scene.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On March 13, 2021, at around 8:08pm, deputies were dispatched to the 26800 block of Bellfountain Road for a suspicious vehicle. A resident reported a dark-colored 2002 Dodge Dakota was in his driveway. He reported the Dodge had recently been seen in his driveway and the surrounding area acting suspiciously. The Dodge was unable to be located.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 13, 2021, at about 3:45 am, deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of Pettibone Drive in Corvallis for a report of a possible prowler. They arrived and spoke with Shania Little Sims, 22, in the driveway. They later arrested Sims on a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear, no bail. Deputies issued Sims a criminal citation and released her.
DUII - On 03/12/2021 at approximately 7:45 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Western in Corvallis. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Richard Olson, 66, for DUII. Olson`s blood alcohol content was 0.16 %.
DOG BITE – On March 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., on the 24000 block of Hwy 34, a dog bit a delivery driver while he was delivering a package. The dog did not break skin so a quarantine was not necessary. The owner is aware of the bite and will make adjustments.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 12, 2021, at 3:51 AM, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near Conifer Boulevard in Corvallis for a single vehicle non injury traffic crash. Upon arrival, they spoke to the driver. He said he was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 and using his GPS to locate the Farm Home for a food delivery. He struck the curb on the south side of the roadway and crashed into a fence belonging to Oregon State University. The vehicle he was driving was towed. The vehicle was owned by Enterprise Car Rental. He stated he declined the rental insurance when he rented the car.
HARASSMENT PHONE - On Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 7:10 p.m., deputies contacted a woman who reported her ex-employee was continually calling and sending text messages after being terminated from employment. The suspect was advised to stop contacting her.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at about 8:45 P.M., deputies contacted Michael Anthony Todd, 43, on the 600 block of Hickory Street in Albany. Todd had a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit court. Deputies issued Todd a criminal citation before releasing him at the scene.
HARASSMENT PHONE - On Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 4:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to contact a resident on the 100 block of NW Powers Avenue in Albany regarding vaguely threatening text messages which she and her husband had been receiving from a man. They each ended up blocking his number and did not want him contacted. She was advised on how apply for a Stalking Protective Order.
FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD - On March 8, 2021 at about 4:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident on the 25100 block of Maxfield Creek Rd regarding a fraud. The resident received a fraudulent charge for $65 at a gas station in Medford. No suspects at this time.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On 03/07/2021 at approximately 10:08 AM, deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief complaint on the 1000 block of NW Lewisburg Avenue. They contacted the property owner who realized several dilapidated buildings on the property had been spray painted. There is no suspect information but he wanted the circumstances documented for future reference.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at about 3:10 pm, deputies observed a vehicle pull into the parking area on Marys Peak Road at Highway 34. The vehicle matched the description to a vehicle caught on camera removing wood from Weyerhaeuser property. The driver was warned and told to stay off Weyerhaeuser property per their request.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 02/28/2021 at approximately 4:42 PM, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Industrial Way in Philomath. As they were arriving dispatch informed the suspect vehicle was leaving the area. Deputies observed a black corvette with heavy damage driving towards north 19th Street. They stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver who was doing cookies in his car and lost control crashing through a fence. The driver was issued a citation for Careless Driving.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 17, 2021, HAWKINS, Paul, 36, reported into the jail on a warrant for FTA Criminal Mischief 2, Menacing. A new court date and time was given and he was released.
ASSAULT PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER SIMPLE ASLT; HARASSMENT AGGRAVATED - On Saturday, February 20, 2021, at about 1:15 am, deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of 53rd Street for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. They arrived and later arrested Ian Neil Jessup, 17, on several criminal charges. Jessup was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, issued criminal citations and released to hospital custody.
RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, deputies were dispatched to Bellfountain Road and Llewellyn Road for a motor vehicle crash. David Murphy, 26, of Atlanta, was driving Eastbound on Llewellyn Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Bellfountain Road. Another vehicle was North on Bellfountain Road and collided with Murphy. Murphy and his two passengers were transported to the Good Samaritan Emergency Room. Murphy was later issued a criminal citation for Reckless Driving.
CRIMINAL POSS FORG INST 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:52 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 27000 Block of Finley Road for a suspicious vehicle. There they located SAMUEL SENNER, 35, of Springfield, who was with a tan Toyota Corolla sedan that had front-end damage and no license plates. Deputies arrested SENNER for trespassing. A consent search of the vehicle yielded a large amount of stolen mail and money orders from the Eugene area. SENNER was cited and released for Trespass II and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument II.
MENACING DIS CONDUCT - On February 24, 2021 at around 9pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24500 block of Nichols Road near Monroe for a possible menacing. Residents called the Sheriff`s Office reporting being harassed by a resident on the 24300 block of Hewitt Road, on their newly purchased real estate property around 7 pm that evening. Around 10:30 pm, deputies were able to contact with the Hewitt resident who apologized and said they thought the two were trespassers.

DEPUTIES LOCATED BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT WARRANTS: ASSAULT 4, UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON, AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT IN THE SECOND DEGREE, BAIL - NO BAIL/NO MATRIX RELEASE AND POSSESSION OF A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE, UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE, AND THEFT 1, BAIL - 45,000-00/NO MATRIX RELEASE. DUE TO FACILITY CAPACITY, ADAIR, TILON WAS RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE AND WAS RELEASED AT APPROXIMATELY 9:25 AM FORCED RELEASE PRETRIAL.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, deputies were dispatched to Old Peak Road near Highway 34 for a suspicious person. A caller said a male riding a motorcycle parked near her driveway and she thought this was odd. She said the rider rode West on Old Peak Road. Deputies located the rider who also lives on Old Peak Road. He said he was having issues with his motorcycle and he was attempting to fix it.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 10, 2021, at about 6:40 a.m., deputies were driving on NW Independence Highway near NW Fawn Ridge Drive when they saw a gray 2014 Nissan Sentra 4-door sedan in the ditch and a tow truck parked on NW Fawn Ridge Drive with another vehicle. Deputies contacted the tow truck driver who told them the driver of the vehicle called for a tow truck after being ran off the road by an unknown vehicle. Deputies assisted with traffic control as the vehicle was towed out of the ditch.
DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING - On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at about 8:25 P.M., deputies were on Springhill Drive near Hickory when they observed a Maroon Kia Sedona with its front wheels over the curb on the West side of the road. They contacted and arrested the driver, Jennifer Louie Rodriquez, 42, for DUII and Reckless Driving. Deputies transported Rodriguez to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office where her BAC level was .13. They issued Rodriguez criminal citations and released her to a sober friend.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - On March 10, 2021, deputies arrested TIMOTHY JAMES NIELSON, 38, and CHEYENNE EMILY CARTER-WEST, 29, both of Vancouver, on confirmed full extradition warrants out of the State of Washington after a traffic stop on Highway 20 at milepost 37.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On March 9, 2021 at approximately 8:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of Crystal Lake Dr and Park Ave for a report of UNKNOWN suspect(s) throwing eggs from a dark colored pickup truck. A female said her vehicle was hit with eggs as it passed the pickup in the opposite direction on Crystal Lake Dr. She said she was able to wash the egg off and did not believe there was additional damage. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Monday, March 8, 2021 at about 7:15 AM, deputies were dispatched to a trespass on the 26800 block of Highway 501, near Alsea. They arrived on scene to find two people unloading a trailer of items and walking them to a trailer on the property. Deputies asked the two people what they were doing and they said moving their belongings in. When deputies asked about whose property they were on they said their mothers. Deputies asked how long the property has been hers and they said since the beginning of February. The male and female were setting up a homestead while the house was fixed. Deputies confirmed his mother was indeed the property owner and determined no crimes were being committed.
THEFT 1 - On March 7, 2021 at about 5:00 PM, deputies I responded to the 28000 block of Goracke Lane for an attempted theft of a dog. Case discontinued due to a lack of leads.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Monday, March 8, 2021, at about 1:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to an assault on the 700 block of Ash Street in Monroe. They arrived and spoke with a resident who stated a man showed up at his house. He said the man suffers from a mental illness. The man got mad and threw a cup of hot chocolate at him. The resident said it did not hurt and he did not want the man arrested, only to make a report and have him trespassed.
THEFT 2 - On Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 2:45 p.m., deputies contacted a resident via telephone. She reported that $620.00 was stolen out of her purse on the 4300 block of NE Holly Ln on 03/05/2021.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On Sunday, March 7, 2021, at about 8:00 AM, deputies were dispatched to a hit and run on the 3400 block of Bellfountain Road, near Philomath. They called and spoke with the resident who stated they were out of town but were told by neighbors someone hit their mailbox. She estimated the damage to cost about $200.00 dollars to replace. No evidence was located providing any suspect information.
UUV - On Saturday March 6, 2021 at about 11:20 PM, an unknown suspect stole a pick-up truck from the 500 block of McCall Way, Philomath. The pick-up truck had the keys inside and the Registered Owner indicated the vehicle would only be able to be driven about 20 minutes because of a damaged catalytic converter. There was video of the theft, but it isn`t clear enough to make out who the suspect is.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, March 8, 2021, at about 11:40 AM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 7000 block of NW Mountain View Drive, north of Corvallis. They arrived and found a male acting erratically around a parked car. They asked the male if he was okay and he said yes and he was waiting for a friend. Deputies told him not to walk in the road and asked him for his information which he provided. The male, Linson Johnson, 50, had a confirmed Parole Violation Warrant through Linn County Sheriff`s Office. Johnson was arrested and transported to Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged. WARR INFO: Linn County Sheriff`s Office; Parole Violation- PCS Meth; No Bail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at about 1:50 PM, deputies arrived to a crash that just occurred on Highway 99W near MP 48, south of Corvallis. Car 1 was driving south on Highway 99W. Car 2 was stopped in the south bound lane while a car in front of it was signaled to turn. Car 1 applied its brake but due to speed and weight of the utility trailer, Car 1 skidded into the back of Car 1. Car 1, suffered minor damage to rear bumper and concrete chutes. Car 2 suffered heavy front end damage and required a tow. Both drivers were uninjured and swapped information on scene.
THEFT 1 DECEPTION; IDENTITY THEFT; THEFT BY EXTORTION - On Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:58 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of NE Pettibone Drive to perform a welfare check. An investigation determined TY DELLINGER, 26, and SHANIA SIMS, 22, had borrowed the homeowner’s cell phone. DELLINGER eventually admitted to being the one who sent text messages to the homeowner’s daughter trying to extort $5,000 from her. DELLINGER was arrested and booked at the Benton County Jail where he was charged with Attempted Extortion, Attempted Theft I (By Deception), and Identity Theft. SIMS was cited for Identity Theft after she was found in possession of a stolen check belonging to a different individual.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at approximately 2:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 2600 Sulphur Springs Road for a report of a theft from a vehicle. The victim told deputies someone had broken into the rear passenger side of her vehicle and stolen her purse, wallet with her ID, and credit cards, mail, cosmetics, bank box key, and some medication. No suspect information at this time.
DISCHARGE WEAPON-HWY/RR/UTIL SHOOT PROH AREA - On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at about 9:00 AM, deputies were dispatched to a shots heard complaint on the 24400 block of McCain Road, near Monroe. They arrived and spoke with a man who admitted to shooting. When they asked why he got called in for shooting he said because his neighbors don’t like it. Deputies asked him to show them where he was shooting and he pointed across the road. After speaking with him and Deputy District Attorney Walcott, deputies issued him a citation for discharging a weapon across a highway violation.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 9:01 p.m., deputies contacted Donald Hendershot, 47, of Portland, on the 27600 block of Hwy 99W, Corvallis. Hendershot had multiple confirmed warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 6, 2021 at about 10:55 PM, deputies stopped a car at 1st and Ellsworth for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, CHARLENE JACQUELINE GONZALEZ, 46, of Lyons, had three outstanding Warrants, two of which were Felony Warrants. GONZALEZ was issued citations for the Warrants and released.
BCSO K9 TRACK - On March 6, 2021, at 12:26 AM, deputies responded to SW 53rd Street near SW Plymouth Drive in Corvallis to assist the Philomath Police Department with locating an elude suspect. At 1:58 AM, K9 Brutus located the suspect, Cody Theodore, 30, in the 3600 block of SW 53rd Street. Theodor was hiding in a yard debris container. Theodore was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail on his warrants, since the Benton County Jail was closed.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, March 6, 2021 at about 12:05 AM, deputies stopped a car on the Highway 34 Bypass for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, BRENNEN TYLER SEPLOCHA, 29, of Lebanon, had several outstanding Warrants. Deputies arrested SEPLOCHA and transported him to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged on the Warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, March 5, 2021, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop at Philomath Boulevard near 15th Street. They contacted and identified the driver as Joseph Gomez, 40. Gomez had two confirmed warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court, and Albany Municipal Court. Deputies issued Gomez criminal citations before releasing him at the scene.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On March 5, 2021, at around 4:18 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 36000 block of Blakesley Creek for report of criminal mischief. The resident reported someone poured water into the oil reservoir of her tractor. She also reported a series of possible incidents of criminal mischief and theft spanning the past year. No current suspects.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/05/2021 at approximately 12:56 PM, deputies located a transient camp off of Technology Loop immediately south of OSU Credit Union. They spoke with Troy Lowery, 52, who was subsequently arrested on 4 warrants. Lowery was issued a citation in lieu of custody
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, March 4, 2021, around 10:50 p.m., deputies contacted Lawrence Lemaster, 41, during a traffic stop at N 19th St and College St, Philomath. Lemaster had a confirmed cite and release warrant for his arrest. Lemaster was issued a citation for his warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, March 4, 2021, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Peoria Road near Highway 34 on a Volkswagen Jetta. They contacted and identified the driver as Amie Rose Hicks, 31, of Keizer. Hicks had a confirmed warrant out of Marion County Circuit Court. Deputies issued Hicks a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On March 4, 2021 at approximately 9:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Ash St, Monroe, OR for a vehicle in a ditch. When they arrived they spoke with the property owner. She said an unknown male and female pulled into her driveway. She said the female got out of the vehicle and started to walk around the driveway area. She said the male honked the horn and the female got back into the vehicle. She said the male backed the vehicle into the ditch when he tried to back out of the driveway. The male and female walked away from the vehicle. Deputies arrived I saw a blue Honda Accord with its rear tires into the ditch. They searched the area and were unable to locate the male or female. A tow company responded and removed the vehicle. There was minor damage done to the ditch. Deputies placed a hold on the vehicle until the driver can be identified.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1:39 PM, deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the Benton County Sheriff`s Office Parole & Probation Division at 180 NW 5th Street in Corvallis. JUAN CERVANTES-MIRANDA, 21, had a confirmed felony warrant for his arrest out of Marion County. Deputies arrested CERVANTES-MIRANDA and escorted him across the street to the Benton County Jail where he was booked.
DWS MIS - On Thursday, March 4, 2021, deputies issued Cameron Olson, 25, of Eugene, a citation for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor after they stopped him for a traffic violation. Olson was issued a citation with a court date and time to appear.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/01/2021 around 4:00 PM, deputies arrested William Turner, 29, on Technology Loop. Turner had warrants so he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On 03/01/2021 at approximately 09:53 AM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle call on NW 13th St. near Bonney Dr. They arrived and located a crashed vehicle with no one around. The vehicle was a 1991 Honda accord. The vehicle was towed to a secure lot.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, February 26, 2021 at approximately 9:00 P.M., deputies stopped Chelsea Cera Banks, 34, on Conifer Boulevard near Highway 99W after a traffic violation. Dispatch later informed deputies that Banks had two confirmed misdemeanor warrants out of Albany Municipal Court and one confirmed felony warrant through Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies cited Banks on these warrants and for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Driving While Suspended violation. Deputies transported Banks to her apartment and released her.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 1, 2021 at about 6:47 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on HWY 99W near McFarland. The driver was southbound on HWY 99 when he reportedly fell asleep. The vehicle crossed the center line and entered the east ditch. The vehicle sustained minor cosmetic damage. A tow company responded and pulled the vehicle out of the ditch.
MAIL THEFT; UNLAWFUL USE OF A VEHICLE - On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at about 10:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a stolen vehicle at the Blodgett Store on Highway 20 and Highway 180. Deputies located the vehicle on Davis Road about MP 1. They did no find the vehicle occupied and when they approached the car, it appeared to be empty with no mail in it. Deputies spoke to the owner who provided a list of items taken. Through their investigation they determined there were no witnesses or video evidence that led to a suspect.

FAIL TO APPEAR-BENCH WARRANT - On February 19, 2021, PONDELICK, Andrew, 25, turned himself into the jail on a for FTA DUII. A new court date and time was given to appear.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On February 17, 2021, WILSON, Ross, 46, turned himself into the jail on a warrant for FTA Delivery of Meth, Possession of meth. A new court date was given.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 3, 2021, at around 4:51pm, deputies were dispatched to South Fork Road, Milepost 1, for a motorist assist. A man drove his Honda Accord into the ditch after he was blinded by sunlight. He was not injured. The Honda was damaged, but off of the roadway.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On March 3, 2021 at about 11:03 a.m., deputies responded to the secure Parole and Probation area and issued a citation to Dennis McCorkendale, 73, for a confirmed Benton County Warrant for FTA Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
THEFT 2; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near milepost 76 for an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. They arrived and spoke with a woman who said sometime between 9:30AM and 10:45AM, an unknown person broke her rear passenger window and entered her vehicle. She said her orange purse was stolen from the vehicle which contained medication, ear phones, a work badge, and work keys. She said they didn’t observe anything suspicious at the trail head after they left the vehicle.
IDENTITY THEFT - On February 14, 2021, a Corvallis resident received a fraudulent entitlement determination in the mail from the Kentucky Unemployment Office. He contacted them and advised them it was a fraudulent filing and was told to file a police report.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, around 3:59 A.M., deputies arrested Monk Stuart, 54, of Big Lake, Alaska, on a US Marshall’s warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. Stuart was lodged at the Benton County Jail and was picked up by the Marshall’s office the same day.
DWS MIS - On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, around 12:05 A.M., deputies stopped a red Chevrolet near Highway 99 and West Ingram Island Road for failure to maintain lane. The driver, Troy Constantine, 43, was issued a criminal citation for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
BURGLARY 2 - On March 2, 2021 at about 10:55 pm, deputies were dispatched to a burglary on the 30200 block of Smith Loop. The resident reported receiving a video notification at 10:36 pm that showed an unknown male suspect running SW from the shop on the south end of the property. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The resident responded and found 4 fishing poles had been stolen.
HARASSMENT - On March 2, 2021 at about 8:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to contact a woman by phone. She wanted to report an ex-boyfriend has been calling her nonstop for the last few days and followed her earlier in the evening. Deputies contacted him at his residence and warned him about telephonic harassment and stalking.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at about 3:30 PM, deputies initiated a traffic stop at Harrison Boulevard and 2nd Street on a silver Honda for a spray painted license plate. Deputies spoke with the driver who was unaware her plates were spray painted. Deputies provided a case number for insurance and informed her to speak with DMV regarding new plates.
UUV; POSS STOLEN VEHICLE; DWS MIS; PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT - On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, around 1:00 A.M., deputies stopped a white Toyota Tacoma on Twin Oaks near 3rd Street for a traffic violation. Logan Anthony Mendibles-Furry, 22, was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor, and a Probation Violation warrant out of the Lincoln County Circuit Court. Mendibles-Furry was cited and released.
IMPROPER USE OF 911 - On February 28, 2021, at about 2:30 PM, deputies responded to the 1300 block of Applegate Street, Philomath and arrested Sabrina Fallin, 40, for improper use of 911.
DUII - On February 28, 2021, at 12:19 AM, deputies stopped Trenton Linden, 25, of Tualatin, on Walnut Boulevard near Highway 99W in Corvallis for Defective Lighting, Improper Turn, Defective Lighting and Illegal Window Tint. They later arrested Linden for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON FEBRUARY 26, 2021 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:30 PM, SATHER, RICHARD REPORTED TO THE FRONT LOBBY DOORS OF THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL IN CORVALLIS, OREGON TO TURN HIMSELF ON A BENTON CIRCUIT COURT WARRANT FOR PLACING POLLUTING SUBSTANCE IN WATER, CITE TO APPEAR. SATHER WAS ISSUED A COURT DATE AND TIME AND RELEASED.
FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:07 PM, deputies saw NICHOLAS ADAM, 40, in a parking lot on the 1700 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. Deputies arrested ADAM for multiple outstanding warrants. ADAM was cited and released for his warrants, as well as the additional new crime of Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon after he was found to be in possession of a spring assisted folding knife with Methamphetamine residue.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at about 8:10 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 near Lone Star Lane. They arrived to find Car 1 on its top. Driver 1 was out with Passenger 1 on the shoulder with minor injuries. There was a heavy language barrier but they were able to determine Car 1 hit a patch of ice at highway speed. The result was Car 1 spun one rotation before going off the roadway, overturning. Philomath Fire and Rescue extricated Passenger 2 and Passenger 3. Passenger 3 was transported to the Hospital. Car 1 was towed from the scene to a secure lot. Driver 1 was issued citations for No Operators License and No Insurance.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On 02/24/21, Lonsinger, Roderick, 29, turned himself in at the jail on a Corvallis Municipal warrant for FTA Violent conduct. Deputies issued Lonsinger a new court date and released him.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On 02/24/21, GOMEZ, Joseph, 40, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail on a Linn Circuit warrant for FTA UUV. Deputies issued Gomez a new court date and released.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 VANDALISM - On Friday, February 19, 2021 at 12:24 PM, deputies responded to the 7300 block of NW Valley View Drive in Corvallis for a trespass in progress. A resident reported a man had been cutting trees on her property without permission. She claimed he was helping keep the roads clear of storm damaged tree limbs on behalf of the neighborhood road district. She did not want him charged for cutting a limb that was still attached to a tree on her property and he was warned for the crime of Criminal Mischief III.
ACCIDENT OTHER INJURY - On February 6, 2021 at about 2:30 a.m., deputies were driving southbound on Highway 99W near NW Buchanan Avenue when they saw a van off the road and obviously crashed. The driver opted to go to GSH via ambulance for minor injuries. The van was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On 2/23/21 Hass, Kristina Elaine, 31, turned herself into the lobby of the Benton County Jail for a warrant for FTA PCS Meth and PCS Heroin out of the Benton County Circuit Court. Hass was cited and released with a new court date.
DUII; DWS MIS - On Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 1:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in a driveway on the 6600 block of NW Metge Ave, Albany. The driver, Randy Nieves, 25, was suspended Misdemeanor and DUII. The driver was arrested, processed, and released to a sober adult.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 27, 2021, at around 5:00 pm, deputies observed a grey Chevrolet Trailblazer parked in a parking lot on the 400 block of NW 2nd, with no front or rear registration plates. Deputies contacted the driver, Raymond Clair, 40, of La Grande, who told them he was waiting on Department of Motor Vehicle delays to get his registration. Clair had a warrant from the Irrigon Justice Court for Failure to Appear - Criminal Trespass 2. Raymond was issued a criminal citation for the warrant.
ASSAULT 4 - On Saturday, February 27, 2021, at about 3:19 pm, deputies responded to the 24200 block of Old Peak Road, Philomath, regarding an abuse. A female had bruising and swelling on her wrists, made from an incident that happened a couple days ago with Charles Harold Mellick, 30. When Mellick returned to the residence later on that night, he was arrested for Assault IV and transported to Benton County Jail.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On February 26, 2021, at around 5:30pm, deputies were dispatched to the 7200 block of NW Somerset Drive for a report of disorderly conduct. The resident reported her son was out of control and smashing household items. The son agreed to separate from the residence for the evening.
WARRANT ARREST - On Thursday, February 25, 2021, at about 10:40 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a red Honda Civic on Highland Drive near Lewisburg Avenue. They contacted and identified the driver as, Braden O`Reilly Wasson, 25, of Newberg. Wasson had a cite and release warrant out of Dallas Municipal Court. Deputies confirmed the warrant, arrested Wasson, and issued him a criminal citation before releasing him at the scene.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On Thursday, February 25, 2021, at about 9:10 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 3600 block of Knollwood Drive for a suspicious vehicle. The person reporting stated a newer pickup was parked in the driveway and the house was supposed to be empty due to the property owner being in a nursing home. Deputies arrived and spoke with a family member. He stated he was in the process of moving the owner to a local retirement home and would be staying there thru the weekend.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On 2/22/2021 at approximately 1:46 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of North 9th Street in Philomath for a Trespass. The suspect left prior to deputy arrival and they were unable to relocate him.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER PROP DAMAGE - On 02/20/2021 at approximately 3:21 PM, deputies responded to a gas station in Philomath for a hit and run which just occurred. Upon arrival the suspect had fled. Deputies photographed the victim`s vehicle and conducted a preliminary investigation. The suspect has not yet been identified.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February 27, 2021, at about 11:45 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Peoria Road near Highway 34 and contacted and identified the driver as Joel John Adkins, 34. Adkins had a warrant out of Albany Municipal court. Deputies confirmed the warrant and issued Adkins a criminal citation before releasing him at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 3:52 PM, deputies stopped ERON COUCH, 29, who was riding a bicycle on Highway 99W near Circle Boulevard after recognizing him and remembering he had a felony warrant for his arrest. COUCH was cited and released on the warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 27, 2021, at 5:54 AM, deputies stopped Kyler Ross Wilson, 26, on 15th Street near Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis for no license plate light. Wilson was driving while suspended and driving uninsured. Wilson had a felony warrant out of Benton County for FTA/ Possession of Methamphetamine. Wilson was taken into custody and transported the Benton County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February 27, 2021, at about 1:00 A.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on North Albany Road near Hickory Street. They contacted and identified the driver as Tyler Alan Pomelow, 23. Pomelow had two warrants and deputies issued criminal citations for the warrants before releasing him at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 26, 2021, at 11:42 PM, deputies stopped Michael Gomez, 39, on 3rd Street near Crystal Lake Drive in Corvallis for illegal window tint. Gomez had a confirmed warrant out of Philomath Municipal Court for Assault IV, Bail $5,000.00. Gomez was issued a citation with a new court date.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, February 26, 2021, at about 7:20 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Ellsworth Street near 6th Avenue and contacted and identified the driver as Megan Leann Michele Lamberty, 20. Lamberty had two confirmed warrants out of Linn County Justice Court and Corvallis Municipal Court. Deputies issued Lamberty a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:27 PM, a resident reported a suspicious gray, 2004 Volkswagen Passat sedan with no license plates abandoned in the parking lot of his business on the 3700 block of NE Highway 20 for the past few weeks. The vehicle`s VIN showed it as being sold and it was not listed as stolen. He was advised he would need to have the vehicle towed, as it was located on private property.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 VANDALISM - On Thursday, February 25, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 25300 block of Green Peak Road for a criminal mischief report. They spoke with the resident who said an unknown person damaged his 1939 J5 Piper Cub by hitting the right side of the cabin. Deputies arrived at the residence and photographed the airplane. The plane had dust covering it and they couldn`t see any new damage to the plane. The plane looks to be in unusable condition.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, around 4:30 A.M., deputies were dispatched to a semi-truck crash on Highway 20 near milepost 42. The driver was traveling east on highway 20 near milepost 42 when the tractor trailer he was operating lost control due to very icy conditions. The tractor trailer went into the south shoulder of the highway and collided with several trees. The front of the trailer came to a rest facing east and the tractor came to a rest facing west. The tractor trailer was damaged extensively. The tractor trailer was towed and the driver was not injured.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2021, AT APPROXIMATELY 5:46 AM, DEPUTIES WERE FLAGGED DOWN AND RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF HWY 20 / MP 8, ALBANY, FOR REPORT OF A SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH. THE DRIVER SAID HE WAS DRIVING EAST ON HIGHWAY 20 WHEN A WESTBOUND VEHICLE CAME OVER THE CENTER LINE INTO HIS LANE, FORCING HIM TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. HIS 2008 MAZDA CX9 WENT OFF THE ROAD TO THE RIGHT, THROUGH A UTILITY POLE, THROUGH A FIELD FENCE, AND INTO A LARGE TREE, CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGE. THE DRIVER WAS NOT INJURED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED FROM THE SCENE DUE TO DAMAGE.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/22/2021 at approximately 11:23 AM, deputies was assisted detectives on a traffic stop near 9th Street and Van Buren Avenue. They arrested Stephen Griffin, 38, on an outstanding warrant. Griffin was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On 02/21/2021 at approximately 1:23 hours, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Fairgrounds for a report of a vehicle that had been broken into. The passenger window was broken out of a small sedan and a purse with $1000.00 dollars was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Territorial Highway for a suspicious vehicle. They arrived and spoke with a resident who said a 2019 maroon Ford Mustang with a black racing stripe was slowly driving in her driveway. She said a blonde white female was driving and talking to an unknown passenger. She also said when the driver noticed her in the window of the residence, the female drove away. Deputies checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.
DWS MIS - On Sunday, February 21, 2021, around 8:40 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 34800 block of Goshawk Lane, Philomath for a trespass. Nicholas Klinkner, 35, was arrested for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. A friend picked Klinkner up to take him home.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On February 24, 2021 at about 7:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99 near milepost 94 for a red pickup on the side of the road. Deputies arrived and saw a red, Chevrolet Silverado pickup parked along the southbound lane of Highway 99, about one foot over the fog line, blocking the flow of traffic. The vehicle was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at about 6:45 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop at Highway 34 near milepost 1 and contacted the driver, Jessica Renae Patterson, 29, of Sweet Home. Patterson had a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court. Deputies issued Patterson a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On February 24, 2021 JULIA LYNN LAURIE crashed her 2005 Dodge pickup on black ice on Highway 20 near milepost 38. She was uninjured, and her vehicle was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 24, 2021 at about 3:06 am, deputies stopped Daryll Ray Smith, 55, for operating a motorized bicycle on the bike path near 53rd and Reservoir. Smith had a confirmed Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA-Unlawful Possession Meth. Deputies arrested Smith and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was released with a citation.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, February 23, 2021 at about 2:07pm, deputies were dispatched to a warrant service at the Benton County Parole and Probation office located at 180 NW 5th Street, Corvallis. Garrett Wayne Caspino III, 28, had a confirmed warrant from Albany Municipal Court for citation to appear for Theft III. Deputies issued Caspino a criminal citation with a court date provided by Albany Municipal Court.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, February 22, 2021, at about 11:30 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue Maserati sedan on Highway 20 near MP 10 for a traffic violation. Eldon Hodgson, 50, returned with a confirmed Lincoln County Circuit Court warrant for Hit and Run. Hodgson was issued a criminal citation and released from the scene.
THEFT 3 - On Sunday, February 21, 2021, at about 8:45 AM, deputies were dispatched to a fraud on the 31700 block of Fern Road, near Philomath. They spoke with the resident who stated he had a fraudulent purchase made on his Capital One card on February 17th. He stated it was to a company, but he never made a purchase. He stated the company, Primal Health, which appears to have many complaints about the same issue located in Texas. He stated he also filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and a Texas Law Enforcement Agency.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 20, 2021, at around 6:33pm, deputies observed a black 1999 GMC Suburban fail to signal so they made initiated a traffic stop. A passenger identified herself as Maryl Swyers, 29, of Sweet Home. Dispatch informed that Swyers had a warrant from Linn County Circuit Court for Probation Violation - PCS - Meth, a warrant from Polk County Circuit Court for Probation Violation - DUII, and a warrant from Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court. Swyers was issued criminal citations for the warrants.
DUII; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 5:24 p.m., deputies responded to NE Hwy 20 near MP 1.5, Corvallis, for a single vehicle crash. The vehicle hit two power poles. The driver, Brittney Micek, 22, was transported to the hospital, and was later charged with DUII.
DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST - On February 19, 2021, at around 10:43pm, I observed a silver 2003 Ford Crown Victoria with a non-working registration plate light. I initiated at traffic stop at Highway 20 Milepost 5. The driver, Samuel Monroe, Jr., 43, had a Suspended – Misdemeanor license. Monroe also had several warrants from Benton County Circuit Court and Linn County Circuit Court. Monroe was issued criminal citations for his warrants, a criminal citation for Driving While Suspended - Misdemeanor, and a citation for Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - On Monday, February 22, 2021 at about 4:35 P.M., deputies spoke to a resident who stated there have been multiple people at the property on the 24500 block of Bellfountain Road, which she said was abandoned for 20 years. She stated she does not believe the people belong there, and believes the people have been stealing items, including a trailer. Deputies later spoke to the property owner by phone who stated no one should be on his property and stated he would put up no trespassing signs and call BCSO if there were any issues.
WARRANT ARREST - On Sunday February 21, 2021 at about 11:10 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 200 near milepost #2 for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the driver, JEFFREY WESLEY BISHOP, 42, had an outstanding Warrant out of Linn County Justice Court. BISHOP was issued a citation in the field and released.
CARRY CONCEALED FIREARM; ELUDE - On February 21, 2021 at about 11:00 pm, deputies attempted to contact a vehicle matching the description of a suspect vehicle in an Albany Burglary at the apartments off Hickory. The driver, Tyler Alan Pomelow, 23, attempted to elude deputies into downtown Albany before stopping. Pomelow was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail for Elude and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 2; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Sunday, February 21, 2021, at about 9:14am, deputies were dispatched to the 4600 block of SW Nash Ave, Corvallis, regarding a burglary. Deputies made contact with the resident who reported sometime during the night one black and purple fat tire Trek Roscoe 8 mountain bike and one red Trek Marlin 6 mountain bike was taken from the unlocked attached garage. Total value of stolen bikes, $1,543.00. No suspect identified.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On February 21, 2021 at about 2:15 am, deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of NW Lewisburg Ave. A resident reported three unknown suspects wearing all black were attempting to gain access to a storage box near her front driveway. The suspects took off on foot to the NE when a porch light was turned on. The area was searched but no suspects were located.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 21, 2021, at 12:42 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Independence Highway near Ryals Avenue. The front seat passenger, Cassandra Anita Medina-Hernandez, 40, had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Theft III, No bail. Medina-Hernandez was issued a new court date.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February, 20, 2021, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop at Peoria Road near milepost 1. They contacted and identified Oren Tisdale Hounchell, 41, as one of the passengers in the vehicle. Hounchell had four warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies confirmed the warrants and arrested Hounchell. Due to the COVID-19 crisis Linn County Jail were unable to lodge Hounchell. Deputies issued Hounchell criminal citations before releasing him at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday February 20, 2021 at about 2:45 PM, deputies stopped a car on 9th St. near Taylor Ave for a traffic violation. Dispatch advised the passenger, Linson Lavell JOHNSON, 50, had an outstanding Linn County Parole Violation Warrant. Deputies arrested JOHNSON and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was later lodged in Linn County.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, February 19, 2021, at about 5:45 P.M., deputies contacted Gary Richard Havens JR, 54, of Lebanon, at Hyak Park on Highway 20. Havens had an cite and release warrant out of Lake County. Deputies confirmed the warrant, arrested Havens, and issued him a criminal citation before releasing him at the scene.
THEFT 1 - On Thursday, February 18, 2021 at approximately 9:00 A.M., deputies called and spoke with a resident regarding a fraud complaint. She told deputies she received a phone call saying she was due a refund for her computer security system for 399.00 dollars. She then told deputies the person she was speaking with logged into her computer and then deposited too much money in her account and told her to get gift cards for the difference and give him the numbers. She ended up getting $2000.00 dollars in gift cards and gave the numbers to the person she was speaking with. There are no investigative leads at this time.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - On February 16, 2021 at about 8:46 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the parking area on Goracke road for a suspicious vehicle. They arrived and spoke to two people who stated they were there to hangout, but told deputies they would leave since the park was closed. Deputies checked back a short time later and they had left.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Monday, February 16, 2021, at about 8:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to an attempt to locate a vehicle on Old River road near Shultz Road, south of Monroe. They spoke to a man who said the car was pulled off to the side of the road, but originally was blocking his farm access. He stated he followed the car as it turned onto Irish Bend Road. Deputies contacted a Nissan Armada and spoke to a couple who were living out of their car. One of them said they got kicked out of their old living arrangements. Deputies informed them they were trespassing and needed to come up with a better alternative. They said they would figure something out and left with no further issues.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 15, 2021 at about 10:30 PM, deputies stopped Jose Ceja Morales, 35, for two traffic violations on Granger Avenue near milepost 1. Ceja stated that he had no license and had warrants out for his arrest. Deputies placed him in their patrol vehicle while they confirmed the warrant for his arrest. They were as follows: LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT Warrant FOR FTA ID THEFT and FTA II X2; and LEBANON JUSTICE COURT Warrant FOR FTA II. Ceja was cited and released in the field.
VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER - On Monday, February 15, 2021 at about 11:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call near the intersection of Orchard Street and South 9th Street in Monroe. Once on scene, deputies learned Jeffery Sieminski, 57, of Eugene, had come to the construction site to retrieve a pickup he believed belong to his construction company. Ownership of the pickup was determined to be a civil matter. Deputies then learned Jeffery Sieminski was served a restraining order on February 14, 2021 by the Lane County Sheriff`s Office protecting his daughter and her minor son, which was at the construction site where the pickup was parked. Sieminski had a very short conversation with the boy. Sieminski was cited for violating the Lane County restraining order.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 15, 2021 at about 1:30 AM, deputies stopped Lisa Miller, 46, for a traffic violation on Circle Blvd near Highway 99W. Miller indicated that she had a warrant for her arrest. Deputies confirmed the warrant and cited and released her in the field.
THEFT 3; DELIVER HEROIN; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE - On Sunday, February 14, 2021, at 12:14 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Springhill Dr near Hickory St, Albany. The driver, Brandon Triller, 25, was arrested for Commercial Delivery of Heroin. The Benton County Jail advised they were closed and Triller was issued a citation for his Felony charge, and released on scene.
FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD - On February 10, 2021 at about 3:40 PM, deputies spoke with a resident at on the 1500 block of NE Highway 20 regarding the fraudulent use of his businesses bank account. He reported that a card for his business was used to make fraudulent purchases in the amount of $22,100.27 in various Lowes home improvement stores in Missouri, Tennessee, Colorado, and North Carolina. He believes it is possible that a questionable website, shoppingbags.com, stole his information. This appears to be the work of a vast network of thieves based on the geographical range and complexity of the thefts. There is no suspect information.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February 20, 2021, at about 4:35 P.M., deputies contacted Destiny Cheyenne Flesher, 22, in the parking lot of 321 Hickory Street, Albany. Flesher had a warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies confirmed the warrant, arrested Flesher, and issued her a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/19/2021 at approximately 11:37 AM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on South 3rd Street near Kiger Island. The driver was identified as Cole Stuempges, 37. Stuempges was driving while suspended and had an active arrest warrant. Deputies issued Stuempges a criminal citation in lieu of custody for the warrant
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 2/18/21 BARTHOLOMEW, ANTHONY J, 26, TURNED HIMSELF IN ON A WARRANT FOR SEX ABUSE I, SODOMY I, SODOMY III, INCEST AND OTHER CHARGES. BARTHOLOMEW WAS LODGED BASED ON THOSE CHARGES.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - MONIKE IEREMIA, 27, TURNED HIMSELF IN AT BENTON COUNTY JAIL ON 2/28/21 AT 8:18 AM ON A WARRANT FOR FTA ASSAULT IV. THE SUBJECT SIGNED RELEASE AGREEMENT, WAS ISSUED A NEW COURT DATE, AND RELEASED.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - ON 2/17/21 SMITH, ROBERT CRAIG, 41, TURNED HIMSELF IN ON A WARRANT FOR FTA-DWS. SMITH WAS GIVEN A NEW COURT AND TIME TO APPEAR ON THIS WARRANT AND RELEASED.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On February 17, 2021 Deputies were dispatched to the 24700 block of Evergreen Rd, Philomath, for a Trespass. Dispatch said the male suspect named `Tyson` left the area and the female suspect was last seen walking down the driveway. Deputies were unable to locate the suspects. They found the door to the residence to be unsecured. They cleared the residence and did not locate anyone inside and were told by a neighbor the residence has been unoccupied for many years.

LINN COUNTY AUTHORIZED A COURT DATE AT THE LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT LOCATED AT 300 SW 4TH ST, ALBANY, OREGON 97321. SHIRKEY, JILL WAS GIVEN A RELEASE AGREEMENT WITH THIS INFORMATION AND RELEASED.

ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Thursday, February 18, 2021, at about 6:05 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Highway 34 near milepost 51. They arrived and spoke with the driver of a 1998 Toyota Tacoma who stated he was traveling East on Highway 34 when his front driver side tire was removed due to a tie rod snapping. The front axle of the Tacoma drug on the asphalt for a brief period before the Tacoma came to rest on the side of the road. The driver did not have any injuries and the Tacoma was towed due to the damage.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Thursday, February 18, 2021 at about 4:35 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99 and McFarland Road for an unknown injury vehicle crash involving a Blue Kia Soul. The driver was south on Highway 99, when she drove off the road for an unknown reason. She stated for the past two weeks she has been getting severe headaches and forgetting things. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital via ambulance. The vehicle was towed.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 7:48 AM, deputies were dispatched to locate a suspicious vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road in the 22200 block of Davis Road near Blodgett. There they located an unoccupied red and white, 1985 Ford F250 pickup which had a flatbed car trailer in tow. On the trailer was a 1994 Isuzu Trooper SUV. Neither vehicle was reported stolen. Deputies tagged the pickup as an abandoned vehicle and it was removed by someone before the following morning.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:51 PM, deputies were dispatched to locate a suspicious vehicle parked in the cul-de-sac in the 34800 block of Wren Road near Philomath. There they located an unoccupied gold, 2002 Honda Accord sedan. The vehicle was not reported stolen and it was removed by someone before the following morning.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 17th, 2021, deputies arrested RICHARD ALLEN SATHER, 31, on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of court, after a traffic stop on Fern Road near Grange Hall Road. He was cited in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at about 7:00 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Toyota Corrola on Circle Boulevard near Conser Street. They contacted and identified the driver as, Jeannie Kay Tyler, 52. Tyler had a cite and release warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Deputies confirmed the warrant and I arrested Tyler. Deputies issued Tyler a criminal citation before releasing her at the scene.
VIOL COURT STALKING PROTECT ORDER; FEL STALKING - On February 15, 2021 at around 8:40 pm, deputies contacted Brian Berkey, 43, inside a Ford Pickup truck parked at the intersection of Tampico Road and Highway 99W in Adair Village. Berkey said he was parked because he was tired and low on gas. Deputies later learned that Berkey was a Respondent of a Stalking Protective Order issued by Benton County Circuit Court. The petitioner was staying with her parents 3000 feet away inside a travel trailer. Berkey said he knew about the stalking order, said he was doing nothing wrong, and that he was not stalking her but "guarding her." Berkey was arrested for violation of stalking protection order and stalking. He was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
THEFT 3; FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; PROBATION VIOLATION - On Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:56 PM, deputies contacted SELINA FORD-BLACKBURN, 36, of Lebanon, in the parking lot of 1840 NW 9th Street in Corvallis. FORD-BLACKBURN was in a black Hyundai sedan with switched plates and showed signs of having recently used drugs. FORD-BLACKBURN was arrested at the request of her Probation Officer who lodged her on a verbal detainer at the Linn County Jail. A consent search of the vehicle yielded stolen property, a restricted knife, and Methamphetamine paraphernalia.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, February 14, 2021, at approximately 1:30 P.M., vehicle 1 was eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 42 when for unknown reasons, drove off the south side of the highway, causing the vehicle to strike the embankment on the driver’s side. There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, February 13, 2021 at about 10:00 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Philomath Blvd near 15th St. for a traffic violation. One of the passengers, SKYLAR MARIE LOWRY, 24, had seven outstanding warrants. She was cited and released in the field on all of them.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11:07 p.m., deputies responded to the 6500 block of NW Springhill Dr, Albany, for a prowler complaint. The person reporting stated someone was thumping on the back door of his residence. There was nothing located.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On 02/13/2021 at approximately 10:00 AM, deputies were dispatched to a rollover crash on HWY 20 near Milepost 42. Subsequent investigation determined the vehicle left the roadway, striking the shoulder and causing the car to roll. Both occupants had minor injuries but were not transported to the hospital by medics. A tow company secured the vehicle and gave the two occupants a ride back to Corvallis.
BURGLARY 2 - On 02/13/2021 at approximately 6:45 am, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious activity complaint on Old River Road. Upon arrival they contacted a transient male identified as David Grabarek, 29. Grabarek entered an attached garage unlawfully and stole a brown jacket from inside. The burglary was caught on camera. Deputies retrieved the stolen jacket and returned it to the owners. Grabarek was issued a citation in lieu of custody because the jail was full.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, February 12, 2021 at about 9:17 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near Lilly Hill Road for a single vehicle roll over crash. Upon arrival, they spoke with the driver who said he was headed east on Highway 20 when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy condition. His vehicle came to rest on the west bound shoulder of Highway 20. He stated he was traveling about 65 miles per hour at the time he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
RECKLESS BURNING; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - RESULT CRIMINAL ACT - On Friday, February 12, 2021 at 7:05 AM, deputies were dispatched to Mt. View Elementary School at 340 NE Granger Avenue for a vandalism. Someone started a fire in a cardboard box containing old magazines just outside the doors to the west entrance. There was Marijuana paraphernalia located at the scene and the fire caused minor damage to the paint on the side of the building.
FALSE ALARM - On Thursday, February 11, 2021, at approximately 6:10 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the Monroe Grade School for a panic alarm. When they arrived they spoke with a staff member who let them inside the building to search for the cause of the alarm. They later learned another staff member accidentally set off the alarm
ONLINE SEXUAL CORRUPTION OF A CHILD 1; PURCHASING SEX WITH MINOR - On February 10, 2021, Steven West, 71, was arrested on the 5200 block of SW Philomath Blvd for Online Sexual Corruption of a Child I, Online Sexual Corruption of a Child II, Luring a minor, and Purchasing sex with a minor. West was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Monday, February 9, 2021, at about 3:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a trespass on the 500 block of SW Wake Robin Avenue in Corvallis. They arrived and spoke to the property manager. He stated a male associated with a school bus was told to leave earlier in the day but came back. Deputies spoke to the male, who was securing the bus to be towed to the coast. The bus was towed away and the property manager was left with no further issues.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 13, 2021, deputies stopped a black Hyundai with no license plates at SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd. The driver, Selina Ford-Blackburn, 36, had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Criminal Mischief II. Deputies issued her a citation for the warrant, as well as a citation for DWS, Driving Uninsured and Failure to Display License Plates.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE - On Saturday, February 13, 2021, at about 1:45pm, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at the end of SW Allen Street, Corvallis. A driver was towing a Shasta motorhome with his 1991 Acura CL. A female with a suspended driver’s license was behind the wheel of the motorhome. Deputies cited her for DWS Violation.
DWS FEL - On Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 9:52 AM, deputies stopped a black Nissan Pathfinder on 9th Street near Circle Boulevard in Corvallis after recognizing the driver, ANNA ULRICH, 40, as having suspended driving privileges. Deputies cited and released ULRICH for the traffic crime of Driving While Suspended (Felony).
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 02/12/2021 at approximately 8:30 am, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on Soap Creek Rd near the Oregon State Beef Ranch. They located a gray Ford sedan in the ditch. There were two occupants in the vehicle and neither was injured. The vehicle was towed out by a tractor.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, February 12, 2021, deputies observed Mindy Ann Krieg, 41, walking on 5th Street near Harrison Boulevard. Krieg had a confirmed warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Deputies issued her a criminal citation and explained the court date and time before releasing her at the scene.
DWS MIS - On Thursday, February 11, 2021, at about 10:30 P.M., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white Mazda truck for expired registration. They contacted the driver and identified him as Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 34. Sechrest’s driving status was revoked misdemeanor. Sechrest had mentioned he was suspended early in the contact and claimed he was driving so his passenger did not have to due to the heavy rain throughout the day. Deputies arrested Sechrest and issued him a criminal citation for DWS-Misdemeanor and explained the court date and time to Sechrest before releasing him at the scene.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - On Thursday, January 28, 2021, at about 4:00 am, deputies were dispatched to the100 block of NW Lewisburg Avenue for a report of a possible prowler. After a thorough search of the exterior of the premises, deputies determined there were no persons on or around the residence.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On January 19, 2021 at approximately 7:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to assist people who had gotten locked behind the 800 Road gate on Sulphur Springs Rd, Corvallis. When they arrived they found 3 people and their vehicles behind the locked OSU Forestry gate. They said the gate was open when they drove through and they said they did not notice the sign which indicated they were not authorized to drive through. The three were warned about trespassing.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at about 9:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a possible prowler in the 25800 block of Old River Road. They arrived and spoke with a resident who stated approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrival she was attempting to retrieve her cat from the garage/shop area when she heard someone walking on her gravel. She then saw what appeared to be a person run off towards her field. She stated she did not get a good look at the individual. Her husband drove around the property and was unable to locate anyone. Deputies looked through the area and were unable locate any evidence of who this party was. Deputies advised them to call back if they noticed anything was stolen or tampered with.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at around 9pm, detectives recognized Alexis Carrillo, 23, in the 700 block of NW Kings Boulevard in Corvallis. They cited and released her for 7 warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 3:40 PM, deputies contacted JACOB VEST, 32, in a driveway on the 700 block of SE Bridgeway in Corvallis. They arrested VEST for multiple outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants which Dispatch confirmed. VEST was cited and released on his warrants at the request of the Benton County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:04 PM, deputies were dispatched to the town of Monroe for a welfare check on an adult female who was reported to be shaking her head back and forth as well as talking to herself. Deputies located the female, MURIEL HUBBARD, 54, on Highway 99W near Territorial Highway. HUBBARD appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, but was otherwise fine. HUBBARD was cited and released for multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants at the request of the Benton County Jail.
POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 1; DUII; POSS COCAINE (MISD); POSS METHYLENEDIOXYMETH (MISD) - On February 7, 2021, at 1:32 AM, deputies stopped Jesse Bravo, 21, of Eugene, on 3rd Street near Richland Avenue in Corvallis for speeding. They later arrested Bravo for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Bravo`s blood alcohol content was .09%. Bravo was in possession of Cocaine, Psilocybin, Ecstasy, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide. Bravo was cited and released from the Benton County Sheriff`s Office.
WARRANT ARREST - On 2/04/2021 at 9:00 pm, deputies arrested Matthew Breeden, 34, at 9th and Circle in Corvallis. Breeden had a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for failure to appear reckless endangering. He was cited and released.
COERCION; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER; ELUDE VEHICLE; RECKLESS ENDANGERING -On February 9, 2021 at about 12:20 am, deputies contacted Holly Ann Carver, 34, on the 1500 block of NW 9th St. Carver had a confirmed warrant for her arrest out of Idaho for General Felony, $10,000 bail. Carver refused to exit the vehicle and fled. Carver was arrested after a pursuit at Hwy 20 near MP 15. Deputies transported Carver to the Lincoln County Jail where she was lodged.
BURGLARY 1 - On Monday, February 8, 2021 at about 5:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 25300 block of Green Peak Road for a reported burglary. The resident stated he returned home from a care facility either Sunday February 7, 2021 or today and noticed a thermometer was missing from his living room mantle.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Monday, February 8, 2021, at about 11:06 am, deputies responded to a threat located on the 28900 block of Fish Hatchery Road. Alec Taylor Rogan, 31, was fishing the Alsea River from private property, and threatened to beat up the property owner’s friend. Rogan was issued a citation for Criminal Trespass II.
WARRANT ARREST - ON FREBUARY 8, 2021 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:52 PM, HAWORTH, COREY, 42, TURNED HIMSELF IN ON A BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT WARRANT FOR THEFT 3, BAIL 500-00. THE SUBJECT DID NOT MEET LODGING CRITERIA SO HE WAS ISSUED A RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR A NEW COURT DATE.
IDENTITY THEFT - On February 8, 2021, at about 9:17 am, deputies were dispatched to the 7400 block of NW Valley View Drive, Corvallis, regarding a fraud. The resident reported an unemployment claim was filled in his name that he did not initiate. The claim was denied. He does not know who did this or how they got his information. No suspect identified at this time.
DUII; DWS MIS - On February 6, 2021, at 12:17 AM, deputies contacted Pablo Martinez Pacheco, 49, on Bellfountain Road near Dawson Road in Monroe. Martinez Pacheco was passed out in the driver’s seat and his running vehicle. Deputies later arrested Martinez Pacheco for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Martinez Pacheco was additionally charged with Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Martinez Pacheco was cited and released to a sober person at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office.
WARRANT ARREST - On 2/4/2021 @ 2:43 pm, Jonathan David Challe, 27, turned himself into the lobby at the Benton County Jail for two different active warrants for Resisting Arrest, harassment x 2 and Interfering W/ Peace/Parole and Probation Officer. Deputies filled out a release agreement and issued Challe a new court date and time.
WARRANT ARREST - ON FEBRUARY 1, 2021, DANIELS, JERRY LEWIS REPORTED TO THE FRONT DOORS OF THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL AT APPROXIMATELY 4:55 PM TO TURN HIMSELF IN ON A WARRANT. THE WARRANT WAS CONFIRMED FOR BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT, DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED, BAIL 3000-00. SUBJECT DID NOT MEET LODGING CRITERIA SO THEY ISSUED HIM A NEW COURT DATE.
WARRANT ARREST - On January 29th 2021 @ 3:27 pm, EMMINGHAM, John, 54, turned himself into the jail on a warrant for FTA- DUII. A new court date and time was given.
WARRANT ARREST - On January 28, 2021 Ludwig, Luke, 35, was being released from custody. Deputies ran Ludwig for warrants and found one out of Sweet Home Municipal court for FTA - Criminal Mischief 2. A new court date and time was given for Ludwig to appear.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, January 18, 2021 at about 12:40 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Territorial Highway near mile post 1. Deputies were informed the crash occurred on January 17, 2021 at about 1:00 PM. Deputies called and spoke to driver 2 who stated he was driving south on Territorial Highway when he was passed by Car 1. Car 1 was passing and almost struck a bicyclist and swerved back into the south bound lane of travel, sideswiping Car 1. Diver 2 stated they both pulled over and exchanged information. Driver 1 was suspended and did not provide automobile insurance. Both cars were driven home with no injuries. Deputies attempted contact with Driver 1 but were unable to locate him.
THEFT 3 FROM VEHICLE - On February 7, 2021 at about 4:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a man about a theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle that occurred on Camp Adair Rd near milepost .25 on the south side of the road near the skeet shooting area. A purse and items therein have a replacement value of $50.
