Solid Waste Advisory Council
The next DSAC/SWAC meetings will be on December 11th starting at 6:00 pm at the Benton County Community Development Department - Avery Building, 360 NW Avery Ave, Corvallis.
The Solid Waste Advisory Council (SWAC) is comprised of citizens who represent various areas throughout Benton County. SWAC is a advisory committee for the Board of Commissioners on all solid waste issues for Benton County.
SWAC meetings are open to the public and are held at the Benton County Avery Office, 360 Avery Ave, Corvallis, upstairs conference room. Meetings take place the 4th Wednesday of each month and start at 6:00 pm. For information on our next meeting, call 541-766-6841.
The Council consists of eight (8) membership positions. All members are appointed by the Benton County Board of Commissioners. Three (3) members shall be representatives of the City of Corvallis, two (2) shall be rotating representatives of other cities with in Benton County, and three (3) shall be representatives of the unincorporated areas of Benton County.
